WHO says end of COVID-19 pandemic now in sight

The World Health Organisation says the end of the COVID-19 pandemic is now in sight after a dramatic drop in cases. The WHO Chief Tedros Ghebreyesus says new cases are now at their lowest since March 2020 when the organization declared the outbreak an international emergency.
