Man, l wish I'd known about these 30 years ago!! Just the best Quad building Barbell Squat of them all. It may "look" wrong but, to go deep, you have to look down and move forward. Though it looks like l am NOT bottomed out, l actually am. I have shifted forward to compensate for the weight on my back. If l tried to stay upright as l sink down, l'd fall backwards!! The only way to sink deeper AND stay upright would be to let the heels come up as l shift the knees forward a la Deep Knee Bend. As l bend over & forward, the weight shifts to the front of the feet making this ALL QUADS. I am completely in love with this movement. If you're a home gym trainee missing those Leg Presses, give these a try...you just may be surprised! God Bless!!
