Snow brings parts of Spain to a standstill

Parts of Spain came to a standstill on Nov. 17, as heavy snow blanketed the region of Asturias, where multiple roads were snow covered or blocked. The heavy snow caused power outages in some villages and increased the threat for avalanches in the mountains.
