00:31I was just seeing new ideas every day
00:33and just seeing the cool things that people were doing now,
00:36and I really wanted my room to be a brand new vibe.
00:39So yeah, I would definitely just say
00:40really recent TikTok videos helped me design my room.
00:44My room has always had the same aesthetic.
00:47Even when I was younger, it was always pink, whites, and blues.
00:50So for me, I really enjoyed decorating my apartment
00:53and just making it a little bit more mature.
00:55And I feel like my bedroom just really embodied
00:57to my childhood self and how similar it is to my adult self.

01:05Wait, before you come in, let's get comfy.
01:10That's much better.
01:11So come on in.
01:13You know, I definitely feel like I've grown
01:15into my adult life in this room.
01:16I've definitely grown into my aesthetic
01:18and who I am as a person.
01:20You know, being a twin, it's kind of hard
01:22to understand your individuality,
01:24but I really love how this room shows, like how I really feel.
01:28You know, over on this corner,
01:29I have my nightstands and the best tapestries I could find.
01:34They really added all the color that I wanted in the room.
01:36Over here on my bedspread, I have Everything Here's from Amazon.
01:40Amazon was definitely my best friend when I moved here.
01:44I have these silk pillowcases that came with the design,
01:47which I really love.
01:48It has, like, an astrology vibe that matches my room.
01:51And they really help, especially with, you know,
01:53damage control when you have curly hair.
01:55So that's just a quick curly hair tip.
01:56Definitely get some silk pillowcases.
02:00I have my nightstand over here,
02:02which is where I keep the things
02:03that I like to visit every night.
02:05Over quarantine, I got really into reading books,
02:07especially, you know, self-help
02:09and things that just really made me feel good when I was alone.
02:12I have some incense and my water bottle
02:14that actually has some amethyst in it.
02:16And then over here, I don't know if you've noticed,
02:18but I had some decoration.
02:19These fan panels are actually from my childhood home in Florida,
02:22and I painted them this way.
02:25I have my kitty here, who fits my aesthetic perfectly.
02:30I have some canvases that I actually painted myself
02:33definitely a few years ago.
02:35These are also from my childhood home.
02:38Over here, I just have the corner with the map
02:40that scratched out all the places I've been to
02:42and to hopefully promote more traveling.
02:44My older sister told me one day,
02:46and it really stuck with me,
02:47that the left corner of your room
02:48is your prosperity corner.
02:50It tends to attract all of your positive energy.
02:52So that's where I like to keep most of my spiritual things,
02:55like crystals that I have and my notebooks
02:57and sacred geometry,
02:59which is also known to attract really positive energy.
03:02I have my dresser,
03:03which Alicia always says is full of clutter,
03:05but I promise everything on here is super important.
03:07Over here is my jewelry corner.
03:09I'm known for wearing a ton of necklaces all the time,
03:12so they're really like my prized possessions.
03:15And then up here, I found this mirror at the Trading Post.
03:17It's actually a home business,
03:19and she just makes custom mirrors.
03:21This is Vivian Westwood.
03:22I found this candle also at the Melrose Trading Post.
03:25They're called Da Vinci Candles,
03:26and he just makes really amazing candles,
03:29so check them out.
03:35So through here is my bathroom.
03:37I have this amazing built-in vanity mirror, which I love.
03:41It really helps in making the best TikTok videos.
03:43I keep everything pretty organized.
03:45It's all from home goods.
03:47You know, it's really my secret to getting ready quickly,
03:49just knowing where everything is.
03:51I have my favorite fake freckle product,
03:53which I have on right now.
03:54I know my freckles look really real,
03:56but they're actually not,
03:57and I share that secret on my TikTok.
03:58And then through here is my closet.
04:01It's my walk-in closet.
04:03I try to keep it organized and color-coded.
04:07And then I want to show you this corner that I have in here.
04:11I have this dresser that's fully dedicated to my PR packages,
04:15which seems kind of crazy,
04:17but I like to keep all the makeup and hair products
04:19and skin products so that I can really try them out
04:21for my followers and even gift them to some of my friends,
04:24which I love doing.
04:26My room is vastly different than Alicia's room.
04:29The aesthetic is much more foho chic.
04:33There's a lot more crazy neon colors, but I love it.
04:36It definitely, you know, shows my personality well
04:39and shows my interest in spirituality really well.
04:41And now I'm passing it on to Alicia.
04:44Now that you've seen Alexa's room,
04:45I want to show you my dream digs as well,
04:47but I want to get comfortable too.
04:51That's definitely much more like it.
04:53Come on in.
04:54I feel like my room is very different.
04:57Mine's more aesthetics and the color I like.
05:00And I feel Alexa has a lot more personal items.
05:03Every little knick-knack in her room means something,
05:07which embodies her personality just as much as that.
05:10When you walk in my room,
05:11the first thing you probably notice is a painting above my bed.
05:15It says she writes from home rules and inspires others to follow.
05:18And I feel like it explains what I do really well
05:21because I influence people to always do something positive with their life.
05:24So I like to have that as a reminder of what I really am here to do.
05:28Over here, I have a similar poster that has the moon phases on it.
05:32Since me and Alexa are twins, but we're completely polar opposites,
05:35I like to say I'm the moon and she's the sun.
05:38And then I have a nice little mini fridge here.
05:40It's actually solely for my skincare because I'm obsessed with skincare.
05:45If you haven't tried to refrigerate your skincare,
05:47I highly recommend that you do because after a warm shower,
05:50it's really good on sensitive skin.
05:52I love taking photos, whether they're Polaroids or disposable,
05:56something that I can actually have.
05:58I actually did a campaign with Puma and Journeys
06:00and their whole entire mantra was to be bold and be your own muse,
06:05which I thought was really important and inspiring
06:07because I constantly feel like I am my own muse.
06:09I share a lot of my life on social media, so it meant a lot to me.
06:13So I always keep it on my desk right here.
06:15And then over here, we can talk a little bit more about my bed.
06:18I get my linens from HomeGoods.
06:20I like to keep it white because my colors are always changing in my room.
06:23These soap pillows are from Amazon as well.
06:25If you have curly hair, then you know how important it is
06:28to sleep on a soap pillow and the gold just really pulls everything together.
06:33Over here is my couch that I actually had in my first apartment that I love.
06:36All the throw pillows are from HomeGoods except for this one.
06:40Somebody actually sent me this pillow on Instagram and it's an evil eye.
06:43It's really spiritual and it protects you and I love that.
06:46This is not a stuffed animal.
06:48It's actually a warmie.
06:49It's from Amazon and I love it.
06:51Girls, literally all you do is plot this in the microwave and it becomes a heating pad.
06:54And I just think it's so funny how she's disguised like that.
06:57And it actually has a bunch of essential oils in it,
06:59so once you heat it up, it smells really good.
07:01And then over here, my cat has her very own bed.
07:05I thought it was so cute because it fits my aesthetic.
07:07It's a little mouse and she always is constantly living in here.
07:11When she's not sleeping on my bed, she's using hers,
07:13so I thought that was super cute to get for her.
07:15Over here, I actually have two books by my bed.
07:18One is Today I Affirm.
07:20It's my affirmation journal because I love to write my affirmations at night.
07:24And then this is just my regular journal.
07:26I always tell my friends I want to know what I thought like when I was 17, 18.
07:30So I write sort of just a summary of my day every single night.
07:34So I can just read back on it.
07:35It's super fun.
07:36Over here is probably the most sentimental thing in my room.
07:40It's my mood board from my teenage room.
07:42And before I moved to California, it was completely inspired by California.
07:46So I just think it's super funny because now I do live in LA.
07:49So it sort of reminds me that my manifestations are working.
07:52Here's my favorite album ever.
07:54It's the Blonde album by Frank Ocean.
07:56And it's always a conversation started when girls come in because they're like,
07:59oh my god, I love Frank Ocean.
08:00And I love that.
08:01This big A that is on my wall was actually in my Sweet 16.
08:05And all of my high school friends signed it.
08:07I also have a fan panel that I painted.
08:10And it has some of my favorite quotes on it.
08:12One of them saying, make your mind a beautiful place to be.
08:15The other one saying, what you think you will become.
08:17And they mean a lot to me because I truly believe I am here because my mind believed it.
08:21Here I actually got my TV mounted up.
08:25I was super excited about this because it was exactly like the biggest piece that I wanted.
08:29Alexa doesn't have one in her room, but we always watch movies in here together.
08:33I put some LEDs behind it to create some color.
08:36And yeah, I just love her.
08:37Who doesn't love a good TV in their room?
08:38Over here, I actually have extra storage, which I love.
08:42But the extra storage is always nice to have, especially when you're in an apartment and
08:46you don't know where to put certain things.
08:49In my bathroom, it's going to be a little wow factor.
08:52It's purple.
08:53So I did put LEDs inside of here.
08:56So I'm obsessed with my mirror.
08:58It's a vanity light.
08:59And I just think it's super cute.
09:01Over here, I have basically all the hair care products that I use.
09:05I don't really wear makeup a lot, but I do use three products religiously.
09:08I use my Sugar Balm Blush from Benefit and their Benefit Mascara The Real Magnetic.
09:14And I just think it's so cute.
09:17I also really love that my bathroom connects to my bedroom because it just makes it feel
09:21like I have my whole different side of the house to myself.
09:25One thing that I encourage my friends to do a lot in their bathroom, in my shower, I actually
09:30have eucalyptus because it helps you with your respiratory breathing and it relieves pain.
09:34I work out a lot, so I'm constantly sore.
09:37And at the end of your shower, your bathroom smells like eucalyptus.
09:39My bathroom's also connected to my closet, which is pretty cool.
09:43I wish I was organized enough to color coordinate everything, but I'm constantly shopping, constantly
09:49switching things out.
09:50This is my black corner, you can say, and it just has all my jackets.
09:53My style has definitely changed a lot since I moved to LA.
09:57I had zero cold weather in Florida, so I like that I get to play with my style a little
10:01bit here in LA.
10:02I feel like moving into our first apartment at 17 was definitely not the norm.
10:06It was a big accomplishment, but I feel like it really helped us build how individual
10:10we were and how independent we were, so I love it.
10:13I feel like me and Alexa do fight like your regular sisters.
10:17I mean, we look really nice right now, which we usually are, but like anybody else, we do
10:22fight, so that's why I feel like it's always super important that our spaces are so individual.
10:26Yeah, definitely.
10:27I think having the layout of our bedrooms across from each other has been really perfect for
10:32us.
10:32It really allows us to feel like individuals in our own apartment.
10:37Yeah, I completely agree, especially since we each have our own bedrooms, bathrooms, and
10:42closets.
10:42It's almost like we each have our own mini house.
10:45So living in a content house is definitely very different from living in your own apartment
10:50and your own space.
10:51I definitely am much more comfortable here.
10:54It's less hectic.
10:55I would just say it's a much calmer life.
10:57Yeah, as for bedroom-wise, living in a content house, I mean, the last thing you're worried
11:02about is the decoration of your room.
11:06So now that we actually have the time to put our safe space together in such a meticulous
11:12way that everything means something is really important.
11:14So I definitely do love my room here way more.
