00:00It's tough, you know, big truck is tough. I did 10 Dakars in a car, but truck is a different story.
00:08So it's been really long, two weeks, but I'm really happy I'm here without any issues.
00:16The truck did really well, the team worked some nights throughout into the morning to keep us going.
00:23And when I started 11 years ago, you know, my dream was to participate in Dakar.
00:30And now suddenly I'm coming home with a trophy. So life's crazy, man.
00:35What did you make the difference during these two weeks?
00:38I think it was consistency. We had only one big stop for 30 minutes in the beginning.
00:45And since that, we were really consistent throughout all days. And our competitors had some ups and downs, you know.
00:51So, you know, Dakar is a tricky beast because you can do well in some days, but you need just one bad day and it destroys your result.
01:00And we were lucky this year to keep it going all throughout the two weeks without any major drawbacks.
01:06Driving a truck is as much as fun as to drive an ultimate car?
01:10It's a different kind of fun. In the stones, with a big visibility, with a big cut.
01:18So, and especially in the marathon big walks, when you can relax in your cabin, stretch your legs, bring your tent, your food.
01:26We actually have a fridge there. So it's not too shabby.
01:31So next year we will see you again on the truck?
01:33It's quite an early to answer that question. You know, Dakar is a long preparation and it takes a lot of effort to get to the start.
01:41I think, for me, the biggest job is getting to the start. Those 11 months of preparation. Two weeks, okay, it flies by quickly.
01:50I think, for me, it's a big deal in two weeks.
01:51It's the most part that you're making.
01:52It just helps me off to get to the start.
01:53And that's the way it goes.
01:55Right now I think it's a big deal.
01:57Put it in the seat.
01:59It's the most part that you might want to walk in, but it looks like it's a little bit more.
02:03I didn't want to explain it.
02:05But, I mean, if I was the most part that came from the beginning of the building with a new building,
02:11it's a lot of operational tools that I learned.
02:13I didn't want to figure out the initiative of the building before I had to build.
