00:00It was exciting a couple of days. We had a little bit of a fight back after our issues in the marathon so we never stopped fighting and in the end we had I think it was 30-35 seconds gap for the podium with Sebastian so that was for sure very close but I wanted to push all the way and so we did. Emil did a very good job and yeah happy with the podium but still we came here for the big dream and for the win.
00:27What did you learn during these two weeks to be ready to win next year?
00:31I will learn a lot. The biggest thing is just to come here and enjoy this beautiful country and the beautiful race, the hard competition and I think my biggest learning is I need to come even better prepared next time because the level here is so high in the front now I will go to my bosses and push them hard that I can do the full championship because to come here and be quick enough you have to have fight with
00:57the same preparation as the others and Nasser and the Dacia gang they were a bit better simply that's why they won. Toyota is also quick so I think the big battle at the front is really interesting and I also respect the competitors a lot because this was a race with very very high pace.
01:18In which way you need to be more prepared?
01:20I think it's co-driving, navigating, driving the car, setting the car up, working with the mechanics engineer, it's everything. This sport is becoming more and more like I'm used to from circuit rating. It's all about details.
01:34Some years ago you had the three guys and you know one of them will win. I don't think that's the case anymore. There are many more guys that can win, many more cars that can win and the competition is much harder because everybody wants to win this race.
01:49And I think it's more preparation. That's what it's all about and not sleeping. So preparation for next year, Dhaka starts tomorrow.
01:56Too far on the podium means also that the team and the cars are improved?
02:01Yeah, we made a step from last year. I like my car, my truck a lot. I think the Raptor have made many people smile with the sound but it makes me smile more with the handling because I, especially the last couple of days we did some small changes and I really love to drive the truck and it's so quick and I also feel just happy to drive it.
02:24You know, give me fuel and tires and I will burn it because it's so funny.
02:28So you would like to have a third week?
02:31I wouldn't mind. I am so happy for my fitness preparation. I'm so happy for my mental preparation. I don't have any issues so I could continue because I love this sport.
