00:02:02styles you pick for them with your tweets since some of these dances have never been done before
00:02:08on our show not even by our pros we're not quite sure what to expect
00:02:13as for right now we can't expect an argentine tango from the semi-finalists whose paso doble
00:02:20divided the judges last week let's kick off the first round with country singer kelly bickler
00:02:26and her partner derrick huff
00:02:32i don't want to see flashing lights crashing music
00:02:36i want to pass it down below derrick
00:02:38chance seven
00:02:40we caused a little bit of a uproar
00:02:46we did everybody likes their coffee different
00:02:48that's right
00:02:48he didn't have to throw his coffee on us though
00:02:50he burned us bad

00:02:57sway
00:02:59i've done a lot of flamenco inspired moves before but never a flamenco dance
00:03:04and i've had to do some research this week to try to find the correct arm placements and the right footwork
00:03:09the hands are really important in this and i really want to try to make flamenco as traditional as possible
00:03:14obviously last week backfired a little bit uh so more about the dancing the content this week
00:03:20why are you doing that incorrect watch this boom
00:03:23because i'm just learning it that's why

00:03:28it doesn't look great
00:03:30not completely finished with our flamenco
00:03:32and we just started our argentine tango
00:03:35i don't know what we're gonna do
00:03:37the key to winning even if you don't win
00:03:39is to know that you did everything you possibly could have done
00:03:42you're lying on the battlefield
00:03:44exhausted knowing that you could not have done anymore
00:03:47absolutely
00:03:48derrick and i have worked so hard
00:03:51i cannot get out here and butcher these dances
00:03:54not when we've made it this far we're so close

00:05:59Look at him.
00:06:00This week, look at that smile on Len Dudman.
00:06:02I know.
00:06:03You start.
00:06:04All right.
00:06:05Listen, Kelly, what's happened in the past is of no consequence.
00:06:09The rest of the competition starts tonight.
00:06:11And I tell you, that was a mix of pride and joy.
00:06:15Pride in the technique.
00:06:17That was fantastic.
00:06:18All right.
00:06:19There you go.
00:06:20Yeah, go right ahead.
00:06:21I love it.
00:06:22I love it when the kids make up.
00:06:24Bruno.
00:06:25Well, I am delighted to say welcome to the world of the sublime.
00:06:39Yes, you.
00:06:40It really was.
00:06:41I'm telling you, that silhouette section, it was like watching two people becoming one.
00:06:48It was pure perfection.
00:06:50Then you came to dance.
00:06:51It was like watching Chita Rivera.
00:06:53I don't know if she was one of the greatest American dancers.
00:06:56Your split second turn is just incredible.
00:07:01It was superb, my darling.
00:07:03All right.
00:07:04Here we are.
00:07:05Very nice.
00:07:06That's a big compliment.
00:07:07Kelly, I just, I can't believe, but how long has it been?
00:07:12It's only been eight weeks, nine weeks that you've been dancing?
00:07:15Man.
00:07:16This is absurd.
00:07:17Absurd that you can attain that level of perfection in silhouette where all we're looking
00:07:21at is exactly every line, every curve of your foot, every arch of your neck.
00:07:24It was just astounding.
00:07:25It was perfection.
00:07:27There you go.
00:07:29How did you get your own music on your nose?
00:07:31How did that happen?
00:07:32I got it.
00:07:33I don't know.
00:07:34I don't know.
00:07:37Next Monday night, our couples will face three rounds of competition, including a supersized
00:07:43freestyle.
00:07:44They'll be adding even more dancers, musicians, and props to routines for which there are no
00:07:48rules.
00:07:49Don't miss our big two-night finale event starting Monday, 8, 7 central, wrapping up on Tuesday.
00:07:54Brooke.
00:07:55Thanks, Tom.
00:07:56How happy are the two of you right now to hear that kind of praise from the judges?
00:08:00That's what it looks like right after.
00:08:02Now, we saw the two of you having a heart-to-heart in rehearsals this week.
00:08:05Share with everybody how truly difficult the competition is at this stage.
00:08:08You guys are a mess.
00:08:09I know.
00:08:10He looks like Rudolph.
00:08:11We got really passionate.
00:08:13No, it's tough for everybody here.
00:08:17I mean, this is all new for all of us, and we're all trying to leave everything there
00:08:22is that we have out there on the dance floor.
00:08:24I know you in particular.
00:08:25It was a tough week for you, though.
00:08:26I mean, this stage of the game, it's very challenging.
00:08:28Yeah, definitely, especially our next dance.
00:08:31I know I'm actually really terrified.
00:08:33Well, let's see what the judges thought of this one.
00:08:35Here are your scores.
00:08:36Good luck.
00:08:37The judges' scores.
00:08:38Carrie-Ann Inabe.
00:08:39Ten!
00:08:40Len Goodman.
00:08:41From Len, the ten!
00:08:42Bruno Tognoni.
00:08:43Ten!
00:08:44That is a perfect score of 30, which is your first perfect score this season.
00:08:46Congratulations, you team.
00:08:47Thank you so much.
00:08:48Thank you, judges!
00:08:49Oh, you're welcome.
00:08:50All right, this week you are voting for the couples that you want to see performing freestyles
00:08:52in next week's finals.

00:08:56AT&T customers can also text their votes.
00:08:57Our lines are going to stay open for one hour after the show, and you can also vote on Facebook.
00:09:02Awesome job.
00:09:03We'll see you back on the floor for your flamenco.
00:09:04Go get ready.
00:09:05Tom.
00:09:06All right, Brooke.
00:09:07Thanks!
00:09:08Thanks.
00:09:09All right, Brooke, thanks.
00:09:10One dance out of the gate.
00:09:11We set the bar at perfection!
00:09:13We've got a lot of action on the way as our semifinalists compete for their place in the
00:09:17finals next up in the first round.
00:09:19In the first round, Ingo and Kim.
00:09:22And later, the new dance踵 out of it for the final then, our Monsterесс Gold All Retreat
00:09:29finalists compete for their place in the finals. Next up, in the first round, Ingo and Kim,
00:09:34and later, the new dance styles you picked for our stars. Here's a look at a week that
00:09:39included intensity, instruction, and injury.
00:09:45I'm definitely not going to go down without a fight.
00:09:48Boom, boom, boom, boom.
00:09:50I know more about this dance than that.
00:09:52Opera jazz is a tribal, animalistic, rhythmic dance.
00:09:55And when you go, ah, ah, like you're a wolf.
00:09:58I was flying over Jacoby, and I didn't get down enough,
00:10:01so I landed right on my jaw.
00:10:16Welcome back.
00:10:17Coming to the floor, the semifinalists who were shocked to find out they escaped elimination
00:10:23to dance One More Night.
00:10:25Tonight, they samba to One More Night. It's soap star Ingo Rademacher and his partner,
00:10:31Kim Johnson.
00:10:35Oh, you make me feel so young.
00:10:39It was not the key to the candy store in the sugar hike.
00:10:43Going to the semifinals, Ingo and Kim.
00:10:47Oh my gosh, can you believe we made it to the semifinals?
00:10:56No, not really.
00:10:58Ingo, we may be the underdogs, but let's not count ourselves out.
00:11:02We can possibly make the final.
00:11:04So, show me the Charleston beat.
00:11:06This week, we're dancing the samba and the Charleston.
00:11:10It's frustrating, but it's not the shoes, it's me.
00:11:12Yes, unfortunately.
00:11:14I would like to tell you it's your shoes, but it's not.
00:11:16I've really had to theme our samba.
00:11:18I'm making a storyline of us being lovers that have had a fight.
00:11:22We're a dysfunctional couple, and you're pleading with me to hang up all night.
00:11:28How could we ever be dysfunctional?
00:11:30So, remember, this is the frame.
00:11:32Good.
00:11:33If you've got a great frame, we're going to use it.
00:11:35We're going to be competitive with these two dances.
00:11:37Now is all about putting in the extra hours.
00:11:40Stop.
00:11:40Sorry.
00:11:41And I'm definitely not going to go down without a fight.
00:11:45Both of these dances, I have to get them down.
00:11:48Strategy-wise, I think we've taken all the kinks out of the samba.
00:11:51Nice.
00:11:52And I think the Charleston is going to be an impressive number.
00:11:56Wow, I think you're picking at the right time.
00:11:58You never know what can happen.
00:12:00Ingo will surprise everyone and come out there with two amazing dances.
00:12:07Dancing the samba, Ingo Rademacher and his partner Kim Johnson.
00:12:22You and I go home.
00:12:23We keep throwing things and slamming the door.
00:12:27You and I get home.
00:12:28Man, dysfunctional.
00:12:30We'll stop keeping strong.
00:12:32You and I get sick.
00:12:33Yeah, I know that we can do this no more.
00:12:36Yeah.
00:12:37I trust my heart and I hope you die.
00:12:40Oh, oh.
00:12:41Oh, oh.
00:12:42Oh, oh.
00:12:42I hope I stay with you one more night.
00:12:45Oh, oh.
00:12:46Oh, oh.
00:12:47Oh, oh.
00:12:47Oh, I said it a million times.
00:12:49Oh, I said it a million times.
00:12:51I keep witnessing theqiang and my heart.
00:12:57Oh.
00:12:57Oh, oh.
00:12:57I died.
00:12:57Oh, oh.
00:12:58I said it a yes.
00:12:59I
00:13:21I'm stupid, I'm stupid, one night, two
00:13:24So I cross my heart and I hope you die
00:13:28And I only stay with you one more night
00:13:32And I know I said it a million times
00:13:37But I only stay with you one more night
00:13:43Ingo and Kim with a little samba
00:13:57All right, okay
00:14:01Let them, wait, wait, let them bask in this for a moment
00:14:05Before you lower the boom
00:14:08All right, there, now they've basked
00:14:10Darling, I do like you, I love your determination
00:14:13You don't give up, it's like a dog with a bone
00:14:16I don't give up and I have a passion
00:14:19Look at this ball bearing, look at it
00:14:22From one extreme to the other
00:14:24I'm telling you, I can really see you put the work in
00:14:27So much softer, you didn't have the bounce though
00:14:29And you lost a little bit of timing
00:14:31You know, you've got to soften your legs
00:14:33Don't overstress those ball bearings, it has to be easy
00:14:35Don't force it, don't lose timing
00:14:37But I can see you put the work in, my darling
00:14:40And I appreciate that
00:14:41Carry in
00:14:42Yeah, I mean, I've never seen more fervent hip rolls in my life
00:14:46But I think, you know, you're the underdog here
00:14:48And you have the biggest fight to make it into the finals
00:14:50If we're really honest
00:14:51And I think you have to step it up even just a hair more
00:14:54What's lacking is it's still just a bit inconsistent
00:14:56Like you're into it, you're into it
00:14:57And then there's a sloppy move that just sort of
00:14:59And our eyes go right to it
00:15:00So I think the Charleston suits you really well
00:15:03So I'm really looking forward to what you bring to the Charleston
00:15:05Alright, Len
00:15:08Well, you know
00:15:10Through the darkest clouds
00:15:12Occasionally a ray of sunshine break through
00:15:15I'm your ray of sunshine
00:15:16I'm telling you
00:15:17I thought you did a good job
00:15:19With a difficult dance
00:15:20Okay
00:15:21It was stiff of arms
00:15:22But done with a bit more rhythm
00:15:24And viewers of a sensitive nature
00:15:27I've got to apologise for all those hip thrusts you did
00:15:30Because you were really going at it
00:15:32Well done
00:15:33Good job
00:15:34Alright
00:15:35Thanks guys
00:15:36Thank you
00:15:38In our second round tonight
00:15:40Our stars will perform the dance styles
00:15:42You picked for them last week using Twitter
00:15:44Styles are Hip Hop, Charleston, Lindy Hop, Flamenco
00:15:47And our first ever Afro Jazz
00:15:49We'll see what they can do with these dances
00:15:51And what the dances do to the scores
00:15:53Coming up, Brooke
00:15:55Thanks Tom
00:15:56So Carrie-Ann referred to you as the underdog in the competition
00:15:59I know you've described yourself that way as well
00:16:02Yeah, yeah
00:16:03Do you feel like in a way that's somewhat of an advantage
00:16:05Because it kind of takes the pressure off?
00:16:07Yeah, we're just having fun tonight
00:16:08Yeah, we've had so much fun in rehearsals
00:16:10And now Charleston, I have to say
00:16:12It's pretty good
00:16:13So the competition better watch out
00:16:14Ooh
00:16:15Alright, well let's see what the judges thought
00:16:17Here are your scores
00:16:18Good luck
00:16:19The judges have their scores
00:16:21Carrie-Ann Inabe
00:16:23Eight
00:16:24Len Goodman
00:16:26Eight
00:16:27Bruno Tanyumi
00:16:29Eight
00:16:3024 out of 30
00:16:31You seem happy with that
00:16:32They've got more judges' scores coming up in round two
00:16:36When they dance their Charleston
00:16:37Of course, they want your votes right now
00:16:39To make sure that they make it into next week's finals
00:16:42So make sure you vote if you love their dance
00:16:44You've got to vote for them tonight
00:16:45Great job, guys
00:16:46See you back on the floor
00:16:47Tom
00:16:48All right, Brooke, thank you
00:16:49The race for the finals is on
00:16:51More dances are coming
00:16:52Zendaya and Val are next
00:16:54And then
00:16:55The semifinalists
00:16:57Who've been enjoying a steady climb
00:16:59Actually, coming up very next
00:17:01We'll see if Ali and Mark
00:17:03Can hit the peak when they rumble
00:17:05Live
00:17:18Maybe one more night
00:17:24There you go, Sasha and Emma dancing is back
00:17:26And we are back with the semifinals
00:17:28Up next, the star who last week was praised by Carrie-Ann
00:17:32For moving in the right direction
00:17:34With her first dance tonight toward the finals
00:17:37Olympic gold medalist Ali Raisman
00:17:39And her partner, Mark Ballas
00:17:41The semifinals baby
00:17:42Yay!
00:17:43I'm really excited
00:17:44So two dances this week
00:17:45You have rumba and afro-jazz
00:17:46And where'd you go?
00:17:47Ah, ah, like you're a wolf
00:17:48I'm really excited to have afro-jazz this week because it's a tribal animalistic rhythmic dance
00:17:52It's never been done on the show before
00:17:54So I'm really excited to do something different this week
00:17:56Just go, can you just go for it?
00:17:57Go for it
00:17:58Even if you feel stupid, just go for it
00:18:00I feel like this week is the biggest week of all
00:18:02Because if I don't make it to the finals
00:18:03Then I don't have a shot at winning the mirror ball trophy
00:18:05So our afro-jazz routine has to have a ton of tricks
00:18:08And it has to be exciting and memorable
00:18:11I'm really excited to have afro-jazz
00:18:13I'm really excited to have afro-jazz this week because it's a tribal animalistic rhythmic dance
00:18:16It's never been done on the show before
00:18:17So I'm really excited to do something different this week
00:18:18Can you just go for it?
00:18:19Go for it
00:18:20Even if you feel stupid, just go for it
00:18:21I feel like this week is the biggest week of all
00:18:23Because if I don't make it to the finals
00:18:24It's really exciting and memorable
00:18:26I'm ready to rumba
00:18:27I don't want it to be like
00:18:28Hand in place, hand in place, hand in place
00:18:30The afro-jazz is high energy
00:18:32Rumba is slow and sensual and romantic
00:18:35And they couldn't be more different
00:18:37Zoom
00:18:38Stop
00:18:39Look
00:18:40It needs to be more passionate
00:18:41Like
00:18:42Zoom
00:18:43Ally's definitely grown throughout this competition
00:18:45From week one till now
00:18:47It's not even comparable
00:18:48It's amazing what she's done
00:18:50Good girl
00:18:51Good girl
00:18:53Dancing the rumba
00:18:58Alexandra Raisman and her partner Mark Ballas
00:19:03Same band but it feels just a little bit bigger now
00:19:11Our song on the radio but it don't sound the same
00:19:17When our friends talk about you all it does is just tear me down
00:19:26Cause my heart breaks a little when I hear your name
00:19:30It all just sounds like
00:19:32Too young, too dumb, too dumb to realize
00:19:42That I should've bought your flowers
00:19:46And held your hand
00:19:49Should've gave you all my hours
00:19:52When I had the chance
00:19:53When I had the chance
00:19:55Take you to every party
00:19:57Cause all you wanted to do was dance
00:20:01Now my baby's dancing
00:20:04But she's dancing with another man
00:20:07I was your man
00:20:08I hope he buys you flowers
00:20:13I hope he holds your hand
00:20:17Give you all his hours
00:20:20When he has the chance
00:20:23Take you to every party
00:20:26Cause I remember how much you love to dance
00:20:30Do all the things I should've done
00:20:33When I was your man
00:20:36Alley and Mark
00:20:49Go on over
00:20:50Alright
00:20:55Oh, she's already screaming for you
00:20:57Let's start with you if only to stop the screaming
00:21:02Go ahead, Carrie Anne
00:21:03Way to go!
00:21:05The robot is all about being woman and you are all women out there.
00:21:10Every moment of that story you drew us all in.
00:21:13I cannot believe the maturity of your performances now.
00:21:16The drama, the beauty, the lines, the sensuality.
00:21:19All of it was right here.
00:21:21You like it? You like it?
00:21:23All right.
00:21:25Well, you know, it had romance but it wasn't raunchy.
00:21:29It was quiet and it was understated.
00:21:31It had a lovely story and it was told beautifully.
00:21:34I heard you say you've got to grow.
00:21:36And I tell you what, if you don't grow, you go.
00:21:38And you have grown. Well done.
00:21:41There you go. And Bruno.
00:21:44Well, my darling, the transformation is complete.
00:21:48The butterfly has taken to her wonderful wings.
00:21:52You had us all enchanted.
00:21:54Your story has been magnificent.
00:21:55And tonight you've proven such a performance level
00:21:58that we've never seen before.
00:22:00The right balance between romance and sensuality.
00:22:03Your body flow.
00:22:04The flow of movement, which is so difficult to do in the room,
00:22:07but we always look for.
00:22:09You just did it perfectly, darling.
00:22:10Thank you so much.
00:22:11Shape.
00:22:12Bring it in.
00:22:13There you go. Head on up for your stage.
00:22:15Congratulations.

00:22:38The judges loved it.
00:22:39The audience loved it.
00:22:40You gave me goosebumps.
00:22:41Oh, thank you.
00:22:42Each week we see another layer of you,
00:22:43and this week it was emotional and romantic.
00:22:46How much has this experience changed you?
00:22:48Oh, my God.
00:22:49I feel like a completely different person.
00:22:51I feel like I've grown up so much from being on the show,
00:22:54and I've matured a lot.
00:22:55So it's just been, like, such an awesome experience.
00:22:57I'm having so much fun.
00:22:59Woo!
00:23:00Let's get your scores.
00:23:01Great job.
00:23:02Good luck.
00:23:03Will the judges please reveal their scores?
00:23:06Carrie-Anne Inaba.
00:23:08Ten!
00:23:10Len Goodman.
00:23:11It's a ten again!
00:23:14Bruno Tanya.
00:23:15Ten!
00:23:18Woo-hoo!
00:23:19That's a perfect score of 30.
00:23:20Your first perfect score of the season.
00:23:22How happy are you two right now?
00:23:23That's awesome.
00:23:24Thank you, guys.
00:23:26I'm really proud of you.
00:23:28So proud of you.
00:23:29Mark, what can we look forward to in your Afro Jazz?
00:23:30Just high energy, a lot of fun.
00:23:31It was a great time putting it together,
00:23:32so I'm excited.
00:23:33All right.
00:23:34Congratulations, both of you.
00:23:35If you want to see them dancing for the trophy
00:23:37in next week's finals,
00:23:38then you have to vote for them tonight.
00:23:40We'll see you back on the floor.
00:23:41Congratulations for your perfect score.
00:23:43Tom.
00:23:44All right, Brooke.
00:23:45Thanks.
00:23:46Yeah.
00:23:47Two out of three dancers tonight.
00:23:48Perfect score.
00:23:49But there are two more semifinalists left in this first round.
00:23:53Jacoby and Karina and Zendaya and Val are coming up.
00:23:57Then we'll see how our stars cope with the new dance styles you picked for them when they dance live.
00:24:03What are they doing?
00:24:04We're back with the semifinals, and Andy Dick is here cheering on the other contestants with his jacket and tie and unfortunately no pants.
00:24:25Oh, well.
00:24:26Two out of three.
00:24:27On the first week of competition, our next semifinalists emerged as crowd pleasers, but in recent weeks, they've been unable to break free from the pack after an injury in training.
00:24:41Let's see if tonight is their night.
00:24:42Super Bowl champion Jacoby Jones and his partner Karina Smirnoff.
00:24:48It was like a puzzle double by Quentin Tarantino.
00:24:56He was splattered everywhere.
00:24:58Nine!
00:24:59The eight, nine, eight kind of got to me.
00:25:05Yeah.
00:25:06I was really upset.
00:25:08Can't get a ten to save our life.
00:25:10Let's go nail the Lindy and the Tenga.
00:25:13One, two, three, four.
00:25:15Baby, what are you doing?
00:25:16It's walking.
00:25:18Ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba.
00:25:23All right, I'll walk there.
00:25:25Ba, ba, ba, ba, ba with a twist.
00:25:27Okay.
00:25:28What are you trying to prove right now?
00:25:29Nothing.
00:25:30You said walking, so I was walking.
00:25:31Yeah, because you're giving me grapevine.
00:25:32It's single time.
00:25:33I'm trying to learn to calm your nerves.
00:25:35Three.
00:25:36Dancing is a totally different element for me.
00:25:39That's when I get frustrated or stressed.
00:25:41Five, nine, six.
00:25:42Rock it!
00:25:43Because in football, I can break things and hit stuff and won't get in trouble.
00:25:46I can't do that around here.
00:25:47Damn it!
00:25:50I don't like this .
00:25:52We're only two dances away from the finals, but the pressure of the whole season is accumulating.
00:25:57Just say, over me, under me.
00:26:00The ****?
00:26:01Yeah?
00:26:02It's been a frustrating week.
00:26:03So close to the finals, and I'm very competitive, and I really want to win.
00:26:09I was flying over Jacoby, and I didn't get down enough, so I landed right on my jaw.
00:26:15I tried to get up, and I couldn't.
00:26:18That scared me.
00:26:19I'm just going to have her go to the hospital, and then she's going to be fine.
00:26:23I'm worried about it.
00:26:25I'm worried about that thing is going to happen.

00:28:52Right on the money, Jacoby.
00:28:54That was great.
00:28:57There you go.
00:29:00All right.
00:29:02Bruno.
00:29:03Oh, you two animals.
00:29:06The sexual tension was unbearable.
00:29:09Wait a minute.
00:29:10Hold on.
00:29:11Bruno, wait.
00:29:12We got happy tears from your mom.
00:29:13Mommy, Mommy's taking a cold shower.
00:29:14Look at her.
00:29:15Yeah.
00:29:16We got happy.
00:29:17But Nurse John, I have to point one thing out.
00:29:22It was so slick and so clean.
00:29:25You were like a prowling predator.
00:29:27Wow.
00:29:28At the same time, you demonstrated you can have control, you can be sleek, you can be refined.
00:29:33Best performance ever from you.
00:29:35There you go.
00:29:36There you go.
00:29:37There you go.
00:29:38There he is.
00:29:43Yeah.
00:29:44I'm sorry.
00:29:47I was not going to talk and then I got all heated up again.
00:29:50She's actually ventilated.
00:29:51Wait.
00:29:52Whoa.
00:29:53Oh, no.
00:29:54Don't fall over.
00:29:55Don't fall over.
00:29:56Yeah.
00:29:57Whoo.
00:29:58Whoo.
00:29:59Whoo.
00:30:00All right.
00:30:01Okay.
00:30:02And up for your scores.
00:30:03I think that said volume.
00:30:05That said it all.
00:30:06That said it all.
00:30:07Really.
00:30:08Tomorrow night in our AT&T Spotlight performance, an incredible dancer set a Guinness World Record
00:30:13at 10 years old.
00:30:14We got a special surprise for her.
00:30:16You'll see her dance.
00:30:17Plus, it'll be the cruelest cup when one of our couples has to leave a week shy of the
00:30:21finals and a whole bunch of other stuff.
00:30:23Brooke.
00:30:24Thanks, Tom.
00:30:25Great reaction from your mom, the judges, the crowd.
00:30:29Carrie Ann was going nuts down there.
00:30:30Good for you.
00:30:31You know, we saw that Karina got hurt in rehearsals yesterday.
00:30:35Tell us what happened.
00:30:36Um, her being with these crazy lifts, she's very crazy.
00:30:40You know, she take her chance, and I'm with her with it, but when she got hurt, everything
00:30:44went out the window.
00:30:45The competition, I didn't care about it no more.
00:30:46I didn't want the help to be right.
00:30:47Aw.
00:30:48Sweet.
00:30:49Well, we also, I know that you chimed in with a little bit of your own choreography,
00:30:52so tell us about that.
00:30:53How about that?
00:30:54Yeah, we came in today, she wanted people that fixed it up, like, I am not doing that move
00:30:57no more.
00:30:58Okay.
00:30:59Better safe.
00:31:00Better safe.
00:31:01We put something different in.
00:31:02It was a little bit easier.
00:31:03It's still fun.
00:31:04And it's gonna work.
00:31:05I hope you're okay, Karina.
00:31:07I'm good.
00:31:08I'm good.
00:31:10You're good?
00:31:11All right, let's get your scores.
00:31:12Ladies and gentlemen, the judges have their scores.
00:31:14Carrie-Ann Inabo.
00:31:15Ten!
00:31:17Len Goodman.
00:31:18From Len, the ten!
00:31:20Oh, yes!
00:31:22Bruno Tognoli.
00:31:23Ten!
00:31:25Your first perfect score, Jacoby, got his ten from Len.
00:31:28How happy are you?
00:31:30Mama, go kiss him, Mama.
00:31:31Go kiss him, Mama.
00:31:32All right, they've got some more scores coming up from the judges when they come back and
00:31:36do the Lindy Hop.
00:31:37But you can give them your votes right now by calling, texting.
00:31:40You can vote online at abc.com, and you can vote on Facebook.
00:31:43Make sure you vote for them if they are your favorites.
00:31:46You finally got your ten from Len.
00:31:49So good.
00:31:51All right, Brooke.
00:31:52Our next hopeful in tonight's attack of the ten paddles in the first round, the couple
00:31:56who took the first perfect score of the season last week.
00:31:59We'll find out what Zendaya and Val can do when they quick step after this, and then
00:32:04it's the most challenging dances our stars have faced so far, and you picked them.
00:32:09See how they do live.
00:32:11I didn't know the band had a jacuzzi.
00:32:27Welcome back to the semifinals.
00:32:30Last week, these next semifinalists received the season's first perfect 30.
00:32:35With Kelly and Derek, Ali and Mark, and Jacoby and Karina currently tied with their first perfect scores,
00:32:41the pressure's on for Disney star Zendaya and her partner Val Schmerkovsky.
00:32:47Look how they're handling the pressure.
00:32:49You are the queen of the salsa.
00:32:57Our first perfect score of the season.
00:33:00We got three tens because of a ten right here.
00:33:03Oh, stop it.
00:33:04Bang.
00:33:05This week we're doing the quick step, and then we got the hip hop.
00:33:08I'm excited about that.
00:33:09I'm glad you're happy.
00:33:10I don't have any experience doing hip hop at all.
00:33:12I want to bring in my very first hip hop teacher.
00:33:15To make me look as funny as possible.
00:33:17No!
00:33:18Right?
00:33:19To make you look as good as possible.
00:33:20Duh.
00:33:21Nice to meet you.
00:33:22Nice to meet you.
00:33:23She's basically the woman who taught me how to dance.
00:33:25I've been dancing hip hop ever since I was eight years old, so I know more about this dance than Val.
00:33:30What I want you to focus on, Val, is not to do that.
00:33:32Under.
00:33:33No, no, no.
00:33:34No, no, no.
00:33:35You're la, la, la.
00:33:36No, la, la, la.
00:33:37Why are you laughing?
00:33:38Because it's great.
00:33:39You're laughing.
00:33:40You can't smile like that when you do it, Val.
00:33:42What is that?
00:33:43Can I have some private lesson time moment just to catch up a little bit?
00:33:48All right, come on.
00:33:49Practice your quick step.
00:33:50He's a master at what he does, but now he has to master this and move into Zendaya's world.
00:33:56This is all about swag.
00:33:57You're just like, eh, eh.
00:33:59I'm still downtown.
00:34:01I'm actually very proud.
00:34:02He's doing very well.
00:34:04Yes, yes.
00:34:05That was it.
00:34:06That was fun.
00:34:07That was fun.
00:34:08Can we put the hip hop aside for a second?
00:34:09Yes.
00:34:10We'll take a break from the hip hop.
00:34:11Let's do some quick step.
00:34:12Hey.
00:34:13Quick.
00:34:14One.
00:34:15One.
00:34:16Two.
00:34:17I'm really excited to do hip hop, but first I have to perform an amazing quick step.
00:34:24Dancing the quick step.
00:34:25Zendaya and her partner Valentin Tchmerkovsky.
00:34:29Good.
00:34:30.
00:34:31.
00:34:32.
00:34:33.
00:34:34.
00:34:35.
00:34:36.
00:34:37.
00:34:38.
00:34:39.
00:34:40.
00:34:41.
00:34:42.
00:34:43.
00:34:44.
00:34:56.
00:34:57.
00:34:58.
00:34:59.
00:35:00.
00:35:01.
00:35:02.
00:35:03.
00:35:04.
00:35:05.
00:35:06.
00:35:13.
00:35:14.
00:35:15.
00:35:16.
00:35:17.
00:35:25.
00:35:26.
00:35:27.
00:35:28.
00:35:29Got his healthy face in a suitcase
00:35:38Ain't got no desire to go no place
00:35:40But in her case you got no desire
00:35:42With her hand in a flame but she don't feel fine
00:35:45What if I draw the tightness, but what's more?
00:35:48Can't you see baby love now at your door
00:35:53What tell me
00:35:55You just don't know the story
00:35:59But what am I trying to do now, Kevin?
00:36:06Zendaya and Beth!
00:36:11All righty, come on back.
00:36:13Come back to us.
00:36:17This whole night's crazy, isn't it?
00:36:22All right.
00:36:23Wonderful job, you two.
00:36:25All right, Bruno, you start.
00:36:27Fasting your sit belt.
00:36:29This was a quick step for the next generation.
00:36:31Did you have rocket fuel for breakfast?
00:36:34I'm telling you, I really can see what you were trying to do,
00:36:37and I love the concept.
00:36:39You were pushing it to the limit.
00:36:41It was so fast and so furious,
00:36:44you hardly been able to breathe, let alone dance.
00:36:47And it was a fantastic effort,
00:36:49but you lost the frame and you lost your footing a couple of times.
00:36:52But I really love to see...
00:36:54No, she did.
00:36:55All right, okay, carry on.
00:36:57Do you agree with that?
00:36:58Uh-oh.
00:36:58Trouble in paradise.
00:36:59Yeah, I guess so.
00:37:00That's all I can say.
00:37:01That was kind of a mess.
00:37:03It was, um, it's...
00:37:04I mean, I love the concept, too.
00:37:06I thought it was one of the most innovative approaches to a quick step.
00:37:09I love the fighting and the energy and all that,
00:37:10but I think because of that start,
00:37:12it kind of lost its place.
00:37:13And your body contact was off,
00:37:15which caused you to go out of sync.
00:37:16You missed, like, a few steps.
00:37:17Like, you kind of felt like you were dragging behind.
00:37:19It felt a little bit more like you were dragging each other through the dance.
00:37:22All right, and left.
00:37:25Well, parts of that dance I thought were fabulous.
00:37:27You had good hold, good frame, lovely movement.
00:37:30But it is because of the speed.
00:37:33The speed was so intense.
00:37:35It had so much attack.
00:37:36The speed came in and the style went out a little bit.
00:37:40But, good job.
00:37:40I was out of breath just watching.
00:37:42That was full of energy.
00:37:43All right, guys.
00:37:44Head on up to your scores if you would.
00:37:46Next Tuesday night, we've got an action-packed finale.
00:37:49Our finalists will face their last dances to complete their judges' scores
00:37:53before we award our coveted Mirrorball Trophy.
00:37:56Plus, there's music from Pitbull, Psy, and Winona.
00:38:00All of the stars of the season back with some new routines
00:38:02and a lot more.
00:38:03Our two-hour finale special live next Tuesday.
00:38:069, 8 central, Brooke.
00:38:08Thanks, Tom.
00:38:09So, you just danced your quick step.
00:38:11Tough comments from the judges.
00:38:12Your hip-hop routine is coming up.
00:38:14Two totally different styles.
00:38:16How do you compare them this week?
00:38:17Was that tough?
00:38:18It was tough because you got to switch from one gear to the other,
00:38:20but now I'm just excited to do hip-hop.
00:38:22That was good.
00:38:23And I'm proud of them.
00:38:24Which one gear is still number?
00:38:25Ah, I didn't even realize I made my own joke.
00:38:28All right, let's get your scores.
00:38:30Good luck.
00:38:31Will the judges please reveal their scores?
00:38:34Carrie-Anne Inaba.
00:38:35Eight.
00:38:38Len Goodman.
00:38:39Eight.
00:38:41Bruno Tognoli.
00:38:43Nine.
00:38:4425 out of 30.
00:38:46How do you guys feel about that?
00:38:47One more dance is coming up.
00:38:49We feel good, you know?
00:38:52It is what it is.
00:38:53We respect the comments, and, you know, I agree.
00:38:56We could have done better, I guess, but we shot our best.
00:38:59I'm looking forward to the hip-hop.
00:39:01Don't forget to vote for them if they're your favorites.
00:39:03Get online at abc.com.
00:39:05You can vote on Facebook.
00:39:06We're going to get to see them back on the floor one more time,
00:39:08but you can start voting for them right now.
00:39:10You two better go get changed.
00:39:12Great job.
00:39:13Tom.
00:39:13All right, Brooke.
00:39:14Thanks.
00:39:14And that's it for tonight's first round.
00:39:16When we come back, we'll find out how our stars got their competitive drive
00:39:20and hear from some of their famous friends.
00:39:23Plus, we'll see how they contend with the new dance styles picked by you at home.
00:39:27See what happens when Kelly and Derek dance the flamenco live.
00:39:42Welcome back to the semifinals of Dancing with the Stars.
00:39:46So far, there's a three-way tie at the top with Kelly and Derek,
00:39:50Ali and Mark and Jacoby and Karina,
00:39:51all of whom have a perfect score of 30.
00:39:55Ingo and Kim are at the bottom with 24.
00:39:57This next round is the last chance for our couples to win places in the finals.
00:40:02To do it, we'll have to pull off the new dance styles that you picked for them
00:40:06with your tweets.
00:40:07Before Kelly and Derek's flamenco routine,
00:40:10let's find out where she got the spirit of a winner.
00:40:16Kelly grew up in a tiny little town in North Carolina.
00:40:20If you blink, you would miss it.
00:40:21Kelly's early years were tough.
00:40:23They started out with her mother.
00:40:25My daughter abandoned her when she was very young.
00:40:29She had a father who suffered severe alcohol addiction and drug addiction
00:40:34and was incarcerated a good amount of her life growing up.
00:40:37So she grew up pretty much with her grandparents.
00:40:40Kelly had things good for the situation she was in.
00:40:45She's never let it get her down.
00:40:47Okay, come on.
00:40:48We've got to work.
00:40:49Double, double, single.
00:40:51Kelly was just Kelly Pickler down the road.
00:40:54She worked at a fast food restaurant.
00:40:57She was a little cheerleader.
00:40:58Her and her grandmother used to sit on the porch and sing.
00:41:03Her self-esteem was very low.
00:41:06And I planted the seed of American Idol.
00:41:09And she said, well, I'm not that good.
00:41:11And I said, well, you know, you need to let other people be the judge.
00:41:15When Kelly was on Idol, I was in Florida State Prison.
00:41:20And that's when I got the letter.
00:41:21Dad, you're not going to believe this, but I auditioned for American Idol.
00:41:24I'm going to Hollywood.
00:41:26Tough.
00:41:27I ain't never been nothing but tough.
00:41:31As soon as my American Idol audition aired, my life was never the same.
00:41:36I literally went from roller skating burgers out to live on a tour bus and write songs and sing them for people.
00:41:46I mean, that's the only thing I've ever wanted to do.
00:41:53That's the best dance I've seen on season 16.
00:41:57I remember telling me when I was at my bottom, she would say, Daddy, it's going to get better.
00:42:02It's going to be okay.
00:42:03And the love and the bond between us, it's never wavered.
00:42:06I mean, there's been hard times, but she's always shown me unconditional, undefiled love.
00:42:13And I've tried to show it back.
00:42:15I am so incredibly proud of my wife.
00:42:18I didn't know she could dance.
00:42:20She didn't know she could dance either.
00:42:22Amazing.
00:42:23I mean, your artistry, everything about it.
00:42:25Doing Dancing with the Stars, it's like I've discovered a passion that I didn't know that I had, and that was dancing.
00:42:32And knowing what she's overcome in her life, it's so inspiring.
00:42:36And I think whatever opportunity is presented to her, her talent, charisma, and personality, find a way to sort of win that moment.
00:42:45I think Kelly is going to win the Mirrorball trophy because she's just so dang likable, and she's so dang good.
00:42:52Kelly has been through a lot in her life.
00:42:55But that little five-foot-nothing little girl has conquered mountains, and I think this is just another mountain.
00:43:03I think she just might make it to the top.
00:43:04Dancing Flamenco, Kelly Pickler and her partner Derek Hough.
00:43:26Hey!
00:43:26I think she's so dang good.
00:43:56guitar solo
00:44:26Hey!
00:44:30Hey!
00:44:56Kelly and Derek with the Florento.
00:45:07Wow.
00:45:09Come on over here, you two.
00:45:13We've got to do this dance more often.
00:45:17Wow.
00:45:20Let's start with Len.
00:45:28Kelly, I tell you what.
00:45:31You're small, but I'm telling you, your talent is huge.
00:45:35And as far as I'm concerned, you've just booked your place in the final.
00:45:41There we go.
00:45:43All right, Bruno.
00:45:45Flamenco, the pride and the fiery heart of Spain.
00:45:50It's like a dialogue without words.
00:45:52And you really, you really got...
00:45:54What did you say?
00:45:55Yeah, no, but it's true, you got that.
00:45:57But I have to point out, there were a couple of moments when you tightened up and you lost the flow.
00:46:03This in flamenco never stops.
00:46:05I'm sorry.
00:46:07It doesn't.
00:46:08All right.
00:46:09It doesn't.
00:46:10It doesn't.
00:46:11And you know, you tightened up.
00:46:13I've seen it.
00:46:14All right.
00:46:15You know, but anyway, it was very good.
00:46:16You need to tighten up too.
00:46:17Yeah.
00:46:18I have a question though, because you are still in your own, and you look so beautiful.
00:46:23But halfway through, you tense up.
00:46:25What happened?
00:46:26Did you feel it?
00:46:27No.
00:46:28I know.
00:46:29I don't mean to put you on it.
00:46:30I've already scored, just so you know.
00:46:31Huh?
00:46:32I've already scored, so what you scored is not effective.
00:46:33Yeah, not effective.
00:46:34Is it the skirt?
00:46:35I think it's everything.
00:46:37And the dress weighs 5,000 pounds.
00:46:40I definitely got a good workout.
00:46:42Because that's what it looked like.
00:46:43Towards the end, it just kind of looked like you were hanging.
00:46:45I need to work out.
00:46:46All right.
00:46:47All right.
00:46:48Well, you get to do a little stare workout right now all the way to the sky box.
00:46:51Carry me.
00:46:52All right.
00:46:53Kelly and Derek.
00:46:54Oh, there you go, Derek.
00:46:56Always the gentleman.
00:46:57Always the gentleman.
00:46:58Our stars have been busy posting some new behind-the-scenes photos on our Instagram page.
00:47:03You can see them and more at our official Instagram home at Dancing ABC.
00:47:08Brooke.
00:47:09Thanks, Tom.
00:47:10Great job, you two.
00:47:11Kelly, we saw in your very emotional package that you have developed a passion for dancing,
00:47:16and you've accomplished so many great things.
00:47:18Are you surprised that you've grown to love this so much?
00:47:22Oh, absolutely.
00:47:23I think that's one great thing about the show is just discovering new passions and just the people that you meet.
00:47:30I think Derek's amazing, and I'm so blessed to have him a part of my life.
00:47:33Well, let's see what the judges thought of your performance.
00:47:36Good luck.
00:47:37Will the judges please reveal their scores?
00:47:40Carrie-Anne Inaba.
00:47:42Nine.
00:47:44Len Goodman.
00:47:45Ten.
00:47:47Bruno Tanyoli.
00:47:49Nine.
00:47:51All right.
00:47:5329 out of 30 for Kelly and Derek, which is in the total for the night of 58.
00:48:00Uh-oh, we need to check with Bruno because there seems to be a difference in the score, so everybody just hang tight.
00:48:06It was a nine.
00:48:07But I want you to know that no one wants to rely on judges' scores alone to put them into next week's finals.
00:48:12You have to vote for Kelly and Derek if they're your favorites.
00:48:14So what is the final score?
00:48:16They got for this dance, 28 out of 30, which gives you a total for the night of 58 out of 60.
00:48:22Bruno, how true.
00:48:23Okay, but you've got to vote for them if they're your favorites.
00:48:25Call, text, log on to abc.com if you want to see them with a place in the finals next week.
00:48:30Tom.
00:48:31All right.
00:48:32Unfortunately, he did score a nine, but that's what you call in the business a Freudian paddle.
00:48:37We've got more new dance styles coming up, including hip-hop, our very first Afro-jazz number, and next, a Charleston from Ingo and Kim.
00:48:47We'll find out how our stars got where they are when we hear from their celebrated friends when we come back.
00:48:53Welcome back to the semifinals.
00:49:07Next up, with the Charleston you chose for him with your tweets, the star who scored 24 for his samba.
00:49:14Before Ingo performs his dance, though, let's hear about his journey from Germany to our ballroom.
00:49:21I grew up in a small village in Germany, right on the edge of the forest.
00:49:27There is a real competitive athlete side of me, and I won the West German ski title a couple of times during that time.
00:49:34Ingo always had a competitive spirit. He just loves to compete.
00:49:39When I was 10 years old, my parents decided that the whole family was going to move to Australia and live a self-sufficient lifestyle on a farm.
00:49:46They wanted to really live from the land and produce everything from scratch. It was a huge lifestyle change.
00:49:54Next, I moved to California, got on General Hospital shortly after that.
00:49:59I don't think there was a problem with the divorce papers.
00:50:01I don't understand.
00:50:03Ingo has played Jax for 18 years. It's a long time.
00:50:07I think he's had about five wives. Ingo is not your typical Hollywood actor.
00:50:11Mainly because Ingo doesn't live in Hollywood.
00:50:13I was on General Hospital and I bought the house in Hawaii because I knew that I wanted to end up living in Hawaii at some point.
00:50:21It's gorgeous there. It's flat and I can swim my laps, race paddle boards. It's just stress-free.
00:50:26I met my wife there at a place called Waimea Bay.
00:50:30My girlfriend and I were sitting in the sand. So, you know, you're kind of low compared to someone who's standing up.
00:50:36And so he's standing there with his friend and they're both in Speedos and we're both like, hi.
00:50:41In the end, asked her out and it paid off.
00:50:44I'm trying so hard to do this.
00:50:47Ingo's got a drive like nobody I've ever seen. It's something in his genetics. It's just he will not take no for an answer.
00:50:53I'm not convinced about that performance at all. I've got to be honest with you.
00:50:57What I really like when he gets criticism from the judges is how positive he stays.
00:51:04He takes it in with a big smile and I think he always wants to better himself.
00:51:09I've got to put effort in. Big effort. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he makes it to the finals.
00:51:14Bingo Ingo. Lots of go in the tango.
00:51:17Two, two, three.
00:51:19Hey!
00:51:20Ingo is such a family man. He loves his children so much.
00:51:25Oh, he's holding on all by himself. Oh my goodness.
00:51:28Winning the mirrorball trophy I think would be amazing, especially for my son.
00:51:32What score do you give daddy?
00:51:34I'll give you a ten this time.
00:51:36The family's been really supportive. I couldn't do this without them.
00:51:39I think Ingo's gotten this far because of his drive, because of his persistence.
00:51:43Because of his passion.
00:51:52Dancing Charleston. Ingo Rademacher and his partner Kim Johnson.

00:56:14That's Sam's grand slam
00:56:16Speed BZ
00:56:20Oksana and Henry dancing us back into the semifinals
00:56:23Now last week
00:56:24You used twitter
00:56:26To pick our first ever afro-jazz routine
00:56:29for the couple that scored a perfect 30 in tonight's first round, Allie and Mark.
00:56:39Allie grew up in Needham, Massachusetts.
00:56:43She was one of those kids that had tons and tons of energy,
00:56:47always running around, flipping around.
00:56:50She always had that little sparkle.
00:56:53As a young child, Allie was bouncing off the walls,
00:56:55and she loved gymnastics, and she did commit to it at a very early age.
00:57:00I think she started competing when she was seven.
00:57:03I don't think anybody knew at a young age that she was going to be an Olympian.
00:57:10Right to lift the shoulders before everything else.
00:57:13You know, we realized her talent right away when she came to us.
00:57:16You know, you've seen already between the kids, she has more speed, more power,
00:57:20more determination to succeed.
00:57:22And Allie proved this right now in the Dancing with the Stars.
00:57:26How many in a row can you do today?
00:57:27As many as you'd like.
00:57:29Every day she wakes up with a goal in the mind.
00:57:32I need to be better than yesterday.
00:57:34In the short time she was on the national team, she made it to a world championships.
00:57:38But when it came to the finals, Allie ended up coming in fourth.
00:57:44Getting fourth is the worst feeling in the world because you just miss being on the podium.
00:57:49You're so close, yet so far away.
00:57:52When it came to the second world, literally I think it was the day before the competition,
00:57:58her teammate, Alicia, got hurt.
00:58:00She got hurt.
00:58:02The injury was very harsh.
00:58:04You know, Allie fell from the beam from 12 feet and she landed with the heels on the concrete.
00:58:10Her ankle is swelling right away, but she's a tough kid.
00:58:13She just keeps going.
00:58:14And again, she came in fourth.
00:58:18And I think this year, more than the year before, it stung a little bit more because
00:58:22she thought she had enough to get there.
00:58:26Don't beat yourself up.
00:58:27See it in your eyes.
00:58:29I get into, like, a place where it's hard for me to get out of it.
00:58:31But that's what used to help me when I was training.
00:58:34Like, it was like nothing could, like, stop me.
00:58:37Going into the Olympics, she was the underdog.
00:58:40I don't think really anybody anticipated Allie leaving there with the most medals.
00:58:45She was given that opportunity to get into the finals and really perform, and she did.
00:58:50She pulled out something nobody has ever seen in her.
00:58:52And you're seeing that in dancing as well.
00:58:55You're sort of an understated performer, but I see that you are heading towards perfection.
00:59:00Not a lot of people know this, but Allie's, like, she's pretty ridiculous sometimes.
00:59:04She likes to goof around a lot.
00:59:07I mean, I love to watch her perform.
00:59:09I mean, I can't believe the stuff she's doing out there and dancing in heels, first of all.
00:59:13I never even, like, walked in heels until recently, so.
00:59:16From the very beginning, you can watch and just be like, wow, she's really good,
00:59:20and then go to the last dance that she just did and just be like, how?
00:59:24Who?
00:59:25What?
00:59:25So, yeah, she's definitely improved so much.
00:59:28Oh, yeah, baby!
00:59:30She wasn't on top, but she progresses every week.
00:59:33She's a fighter, and she definitely has what it takes to win that mirrorball trophy.
00:59:38So don't count her out just yet.
00:59:46Dancing Afro Jazz.
00:59:48Alexandra Raisman and her partner, Mark Ballas.
00:59:50I'll see you next time.
01:00:08I'll see you next time.
01:01:44I almost wore that today.
01:01:46No.
01:01:47Not really.
01:01:48Come on over your heart.
01:01:50Booyah.
01:01:51There he is.
01:01:52B-b-b-booyah.
01:01:54Booyah, Lynn.
01:01:55Okay.
01:01:56That was ridiculous.
01:01:57I don't think people know how hard of a dance that was.
01:01:59Athletically, and every single style was a whole different flavor.
01:02:02So some were accenting up, some were accenting down, some were out, some were in.
01:02:05Everything you guys were in perfect sync.
01:02:07It was just fantastic.
01:02:09I love the musical interpretation.
01:02:14You captured the feeling of the dance.
01:02:17For me, if I'm going to be hypercritical, you isolated each other a little bit.
01:02:21I would have liked a little bit more connection between the two of you.
01:02:24But that is...
01:02:25Not every dance has to be connected.
01:02:28It's new school.
01:02:29Old school.
01:02:30Now listen to me.
01:02:31New school.
01:02:32Old school.
01:02:33Let me just tell you.
01:02:34Why?
01:02:35All right.
01:02:36When you do Afro jazz, are you more connected?
01:02:38I'd like to see a little bit more connected.
01:02:40I'd like to see a little bit more connected.
01:02:41All right.
01:02:42I love you, Tom.
01:02:43Let me just tell you this.
01:02:44I pay good money to see you.
01:02:45Let me tell you this.
01:02:46Uh-oh.
01:02:47Yeah, go ahead.
01:02:48Get down.
01:02:49My views are only my opinion.
01:02:50It's only my taste.
01:02:51It doesn't mean it's perfectly correct.
01:02:53It doesn't mean it's perfectly incorrect.
01:02:55It is just my opinion.
01:02:57And we love you, Cory.
01:02:58All right.
01:02:59There you go.
01:03:00Bruno.
01:03:01Look at you.
01:03:03A tame warrior princess.
01:03:05A tame bird of paradise.
01:03:07Look at you.
01:03:08Definitely queen of the jungle.
01:03:11But I'm telling you one thing that is absolutely certain.
01:03:15You have exceeded all expectation.
01:03:18Yeah.
01:03:19You've shown an incredible range in every type of dance.
01:03:24All right.
01:03:25If you don't make it to the final, I'm going to judge you speedos.
01:03:28Okay.
01:03:29That's a threat to all of us.
01:03:30Put it up.
01:03:31Put it up.
01:03:32The season wraps up next week with a two-night finale event.
01:03:37On Monday, for the first time, four couples in the finals.
01:03:40Brand new dancing.
01:03:41Tougher competition.
01:03:42And this season's freestyle supersized with additional dancers, musicians, props, lots of lifts and tricks.
01:03:49Competition wraps up on Tuesday with music from Pitbull, Cy, and Wynonna.
01:03:54Brooke.
01:03:55Thanks, Tom.
01:03:56Come on over here, you two.
01:03:57It looked like you put everything into that dance.
01:04:00You pulled out your passion for the rumba earlier.
01:04:02You let loose for the afro jazz.
01:04:04How important was it to both of you to really show that range at the stage in the competition?
01:04:09Oh, so important.
01:04:10I mean, that is the hardest dance that we've done this season.
01:04:12I'm like, I'm really sore this week.
01:04:14So it was really hard, but I had a lot of fun trying to do different characters.
01:04:19It was awesome.
01:04:20All right.
01:04:21Let's see what the judges thought.
01:04:22Here are your scores.
01:04:23Good luck.
01:04:24Will the judges please reveal their scores?
01:04:27Carrie-Anne Inaba.
01:04:28Ten.
01:04:29Len Goodman.
01:04:31Nine.
01:04:32Bruno Tognoli.
01:04:35Ten.
01:04:36Twenty-nine out of thirty for your afro jazz.
01:04:39That gives you a total of fifty-nine for the night.
01:04:42You have to vote for them if you want to see them dancing for the trophy next Monday night.
01:04:47Phone lines will remain open until one hour after the show.
01:04:50Plus, you can also vote online at abc.com and on Facebook.
01:04:53But you've got to vote for them if they're your favorites.
01:04:55Great job, both of you.
01:04:58Tom.
01:04:59All right.
01:05:00Good enough, Brooke.
01:05:01Our last two dances of the semifinals will feature two very different kinds of hops.
01:05:05Jacoby and Karina dance in old school Lindy Hopwell.
01:05:08Zendaya and Val perform a new school hip-hop.
01:05:11Coming up.
01:05:12Bye.
01:05:17Welcome back to the semifinals.
01:05:18Jacoby and Karina's Argentine Tango earned a perfect thirty from the judges in our first round.
01:05:33As Jacoby gets ready to perform the Lindy Hop you picked for him, here's how he became a champion athlete.
01:05:40Jacoby always wanted to be a football player, even as a baby.
01:05:45I would dress him on a Sunday in an Archie Manning uniform and we would go to church and his words were,
01:05:50football, mama, football.
01:05:52When Jacoby was growing up, he was definitely small and he was definitely underrated as a player just because of his size.
01:05:58Skinny is real, a little bitty guy.
01:06:01You never would have pictured him as a football player when he was a kid.
01:06:05I don't think he realized that he was too small.
01:06:08He always had like, I can do this.
01:06:10When he first went to high school, he didn't even make the football team.
01:06:14He just kept going and he never let that dream down.
01:06:17One, two, three, two.
01:06:18Jacoby went to Lane College as a walk-on football player.
01:06:22It gave him that chance and he never looked back.
01:06:25That determination that he has from a childhood has transcended into the Dancing with the Stars thing.
01:06:32He's very motivated and he wants to win this thing.
01:06:35You have the potential of becoming Season 16's Steaming Sex Machine.
01:06:41After his first year at Lane, he came home and he looked like a totally different person.
01:06:47I was used to seeing this little scrawny guy that was 5'7 and maybe, he might have been what, 160 soaking wet?
01:06:53Below and behold, my son had grown to be 6'4, 200 pounds.
01:06:56I was like, oh my God.
01:06:58In 2007, Jacoby was drafted by the Houston Texans.
01:07:02It was our first time in the playoffs and, of course, it's a big game.
01:07:07Everybody wants to do something well.
01:07:10The ball was kicked.
01:07:12Jacoby was anxious.
01:07:14The ball popped off my face mask.
01:07:16They recovered and scored the next play.
01:07:18And in that game, we lost by seven points.
01:07:21When I'm off that punt, I had death threats on Twitter.
01:07:26I had my house egged.
01:07:28They burned my jersey.
01:07:30I walked through Houston and I could feel the tension from people.
01:07:35It humbled me.
01:07:37It made me so much stronger.
01:07:39And that's why now in life, I take everything in stride.
01:07:43We understood how talented he was, so we wanted him on our team.
01:07:46And the thing we wanted was Jacoby.
01:07:48We wanted the real Jacoby Jones.
01:07:49In the Jacoby Super Bowl game, you know, obviously it speaks for itself.
01:07:53Had he not made those plays, you know, we wouldn't be champs right now.
01:07:56Turn the football field to the dance floor.
01:07:59He's not going to stay down for longer.
01:08:00Get right back up and keep on fighting.
01:08:02That, my friend, was rocking!
01:08:06Jacoby is Jacoby.
01:08:08So when you see how vibrant he is, it's the same way he is in the locker room.
01:08:12He's just that type of guy.
01:08:13A type of energy that you want to be around.
01:08:15You've become a contender tonight.
01:08:17There you go!
01:08:18I told Coach John, if I win the Mary Ball Trophy, I'm going to place it in the same case
01:08:24with the Lombardi.
01:08:25They'll walk in the Ravens facility and be like, Super Bowl Trophy, you know.
01:08:30What's that?
01:08:31His story is the story of a thousand kids in New Orleans who just needed a chance.
01:08:41And he made it.
01:08:43He made it.
01:08:44He made it.
01:08:50Dancing Lindy Hop.
01:08:51Jacoby Jones and his partner Karina Smirnoff.
01:08:54One, two, three, four.
01:08:56Jacoby, what are you two doing up there?
01:08:59Get out of here!
01:09:00Get out of here!
01:09:01Now!
01:09:09Aboard!
01:09:10Eins, zwei, drei, vier!
01:09:12டung!
01:09:22Aboard and a grand dong daddy of the deep hard line handling him for the ladies, for the
01:09:28cheated town.
01:09:29He reaped a little more than he could so.
01:09:31Of the pleasures the cats in the clubhouse know.
01:09:33In the clubhouse, no, he couldn't restrain himself
01:09:36When he saw a nice caboose
01:09:38Say ding, ding, say dome
01:09:42Well that ding dong daddy, he did 16 women wrong
01:10:03Say ding, ding, say dome
01:10:25Well that ding dong daddy, he did 16 women wrong

01:13:23He's staggering off
01:13:25Coming to the floor to close out the semifinals with a hip hop dance
01:13:30The couple who scored 25 earlier tonight with a dance she loves
01:13:35Did Zendaya teach Val a trick or two?
01:13:38Find out
01:13:39Maybe not
01:13:40Find out live
01:13:41Welcome back to our semifinals in the first round Zendaya and Val's quickstepper and 25 from the judges for their last shot at a place in the finals you granted their wish to dance hip hop. Here's how Zendaya went from shy to shining star.
01:13:51Zendaya was born in 1996 September 1st we were supposed to have a son and he was supposed to be a basketball player and
01:13:58going to the NBA because I was coaching basketball and she's 6'4 so
01:14:01I was like yeah we're going to be a basketball player and
01:14:05Zendaya and Val's quickstepper and 25 from the judges for their last shot at a place in the finals you granted their wish to dance hip hop. Here's how Zendaya went from shy to shining star.
01:14:15Zendaya was born in 1996 September 1st.
01:14:17We were supposed to have a son and he was supposed to be a basketball player and
01:14:20go into the NBA because I was coaching basketball and she's 6'4 so
01:14:26I'm like, yeah, we're going to the league.
01:14:30Well, here comes Zendaya, and I was the shyest child ever.
01:14:36In private, she was a performer and a dancer and a singer, and we noticed those things.
01:14:40But she would never perform for anybody.
01:14:43I started working at a theater, and she started coming wanting to watch Shakespeare.
01:14:48Because she was shy, she was a good observer.
01:14:51So she watched and watched, and I think that's where she kind of realized,
01:14:55I think I want to be up on that stage.
01:14:58Zendaya has always been that kid to kind of hold back,
01:15:01and you really never know what she's really, really thinking.
01:15:04But when it comes time, when it lights, camera, action, she's a different person.
01:15:09And it's just like, wow, where's my kid?
01:15:11A star is born big time.
01:15:14As soon as I started performing on stage, I felt some kind of magical feeling.
01:15:19I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else with my life.
01:15:22But there wasn't much work locally.
01:15:25Her dad quit his job.
01:15:27I stayed in Oakland, and Kazimba and Zendaya moved to L.A.
01:15:31And so our family was apart for almost two years.
01:15:35Dads are cool, but dads aren't moms.
01:15:39He doesn't get girl problems.
01:15:40He doesn't understand that whole world.
01:15:43She was 13, 14, really young, and I wasn't there.
01:15:47So I would always tell her, Zendaya, if it's too hard, just tell me.
01:15:50I'll come get you.
01:15:51I'll come get you right now.
01:15:52I'll get you in the car right now.
01:15:53She's like, no, Mom, I'm okay.
01:15:54The role of Rocky on Shake It Up is definitely the breakout moment for Zendaya.
01:16:01Oh, yeah.
01:16:03When I found out that I was going to be on Shake It Up, some people would scream, but my reaction
01:16:07is just like, what?
01:16:09Zendaya being one of the leads of the show, she brings the character to life because she
01:16:14is the character.
01:16:15She's doing the same thing as well on Dancing with the Stars.
01:16:18I started with Shake It Up, and now there's Dancing with the Stars, and I just want to
01:16:23continue on this, you know, upward spiral to my dreams.
01:16:26Ask me one word that sums up great dancing.
01:16:29What's one word?
01:16:30Zendaya.
01:16:31How I came to know Zendaya is that we brought our kids onto their set, and it's cool for
01:16:35me, too, as a father, because when my kids watch her, you know, Shake It Up on Dancing
01:16:39with the Stars, it's a really cool role model for them to look up to.
01:16:43Zendaya's showing that it doesn't matter how old you are, if you're one to 100, as long
01:16:47as you believe in yourself and you commit to what you're doing, nothing can stop you.
01:16:51When she's out on that dance floor, she's really living.
01:16:54Her emotion just oozes out of her in such a natural way, and I'm so proud every time I watch
01:17:00her.
01:17:00As the drew the stars, they're Boom!
01:17:05And another one is Summinable artists
01:17:07Remember fame wanting music.
01:17:08Trust her.
01:17:10We can dasper yourself for big art &имость, that is not what you're liking is.
01:17:16session the battery Oh, fuck.
01:17:17ES退場.
01:17:19Baby, what does he do it for you?
01:17:22When he's finished, does he step back in a door?
01:17:26I've just got to know,
01:17:29Cause your time is money and I found that I was wasted
01:17:33Oh no, no
01:17:36He's all replaceable
01:17:41So I've got
01:17:46Just your body, no
01:17:48It's all right
01:17:51I'm not dangerous
01:17:53When you're mine
01:17:56I'll be generous
01:17:58You're replaceable
01:18:01You're collectable
01:18:03You're just like mine
01:18:06Right now
