32:00: Here's a solution to the insurance problem: Lower the cost. Use a single bond instead of annual payments. An at-fault accident or anti-social driving, etc., revokes the bond, and increases the next one. This way, good drivers don't suffer for bad ones.
29:55: I would have made a lousy cop, because I would have shot the fleeing felon in the head multiple times. Or, perhaps, that would make me a good cop in the public's eye. :p
27:00: Most Americans believe that OJ Simpson's flight from his wife's murder (that he got away with in court thanks to a poor judge and prosecutors) triggered the increase in the US, but, there were many before American cop procedurals/series showed them. One wonders whether those American cop shows are to blame for the increase in fleeing drivers in the UK (i.e., copycats). Fact: 95% of fleeing drivers in the USA are caught within a few hours; more than half the rest within a week.
25:50: No explanation as to why the couple stole the wedding presents - - wonder what they were! - - which they dumped, nor what happened to the female accomplice.
18:00: I don't know what it is about American cops that they get a ton of firearms training, and yet, seem unable to bring down the bad guys. In a recent USA cop procedural/series episode, 4 cops fired a total of 32 bullets at an armed gunman just 10 yards away, and not a single bullet hit him. =smh=
