00:21didn't want to fight for me awesome five and three and I totally agree with a lot of people
00:27like hey man I don't like when the Browns don't fight for guys who I take umbrage with either
00:33but man you can't be airing that out publicly and coach Lance he was on with Daryl they have their
00:39show together and the Daryl Lance preview show and this is what coach Lance had said and I think he
00:46knocks it out of the park here and this is this is more about the Shador press conference but he

00:50basically the same exact thing about Jared verse on that show those questions are very very few and
00:55far between and they have not been from anybody I work with and sometimes those questions have to
00:59be asked and those are not gotcha questions those are questions people want to know I will say this
01:04without hesitation exactly how I thought yesterday when the question was asked about the Saints defense
01:09I get to decide my own narrative because you didn't get the response that I think was warranted
01:13right you can give a very general response if you think about responses that you can give think
01:17about Kevin Stefanski never throws anybody under the bus it's not exciting but if you don't have
01:21anything good to say or you're not sure what you have to learn how to play the game that's your

01:46now you're back to boy that wasn't a good response it's just a very very bad look from you know
01:50and quarterbacks aren't held to the same standards you have to make sure you're always on your p's and
01:54q's because now people get to write the narrative and that's what you don't want and that's exactly
01:58what happened keeping the main thing the main thing the words of Deshaun Watson when he said that I
02:03never heard it before and now I have heard it a million times keeping the main thing the main thing
02:07the main thing is supposed to be New Orleans and you guys know how this goes they go down there
02:12this is a team that a lot of people are taking lightly there's a lot of people that are think

02:17they're penciling this in as a win even with the change at quarterback there and then as this week
02:23is going on it's like all right I heard a press conference that did not was not received very
02:29well by Browns fans I mean Shador fans there is a difference but to Browns fans it wasn't received
02:37very well and then Jared versus press conference I think you could say was received even worse
02:42than what Shador's was was it not you're still complaining about getting powerbomb then you're
02:48blaming your players for not picking it up then you're making excuses well we don't get a lot
02:52of third and one third and long so actually it's you're a third and long more than anybody else in
02:56the league and I'm going we got a game on Sunday here against a team that at the beginning of

03:01week a lot of people like ah we'll be six and three you better be six and three when you

03:05well this is a big week for Todd Munkin right this is yeah hell yeah this is one of those

03:10of learn a lot about do you know how to have expectations do you know how to play with a

03:15like in in the standings do you what do you yeah because this is really a test of the maturity

03:20there's no doubt there's a lot of outside noise and between this um the puzzling Shador press
03:26conference that was aggregated basically every national person weighed in on it and was confused
03:32right the Todd Munkin did not want any of this he just wanted his quarterback to be a normal
03:37quarterback and he wanted his defensive player to be a normal defensive player he he didn't want
03:43any of this but the good news is like when they get between the lines during practice that's their
03:48that's their um their refuge right that's their their place to be able to distance themselves from
03:54any of that stuff that's going on and we'll see what kind of what kind of team they are on
03:59the road
03:59whether they're ready they were not ready to play it was pretty evident at the start of that game
04:04in Pittsburgh they just weren't ready to play they couldn't handle it and the things spiraled they
04:10were over emotional coming in there was all the residue from the talk that was going on but in the
04:15middle of the week they tend to obsess over their problems and it's like it's something that obviously
04:20needs to be addressed and they somehow obsess and make it works we got to start off faster okay we'll
04:24take the ball on offense mess mess we got to stop on the first try well you you you created

04:30mess and now you can't uh we got we got to stop these pre-snap penalties what now all of
04:35a sudden
04:35you're the team that's penalized the most in the league we got to stop these we got to stop these
04:38sacks well now you've given up the most in the nfl and you got sacked eight times last sunday
04:42like there is there's a lot of yeah you want to overcorrect you want it you want to fix these

04:47but i don't know if they have the wherewithal right now to be able to do it and when they
04:51were playing
04:52loose it's and i i really hope that they don't hear these words i really hope they don't because if

04:58when they were playing loose and kind of giving them hell they were playing good football and they
05:02were staying in games and getting after it and relying on each other and this is this why i'm
05:06very agitated and i'm not giving up on jared verse yet but damn it i think that this is it

05:59theory about what's going on there because i i don't i i've lost confidence throughout the week
06:04i wanted shador to start the season as the quarterback and i've lost confidence throughout
06:09the week and he's the starter coming up on sunday i got jared verse how excited i was owen called

06:15and i took that blame the entire time absolutely was one of the people going hey you know we're giving
06:19up a guy who had 23 sacks last season and now holds the record but you know what i'll take

06:25i'll take the leadership was that good leadership yesterday airing out the business of your teammates
06:30when you when you don't have any sacks and i'm sitting there defending the entire time hey we got
06:3611 guys who have sacks 11 guys who have sacks look at our defense look at all these other things
06:39all this that and the other and then you react like that that's not leadership that's freaking out
06:45and it makes me feel like you're holding on too tight you feel the wheels starting to shake
06:50and you don't know necessarily how to handle this and it just it concerns me for sunday because if
06:59they go down there and they lose to that team that on monday a lot of fans we didn't know

07:05watson's concussion or anything but on monday a lot of fans just looked at that and they said
07:09two and five more bun saints they haven't been good in a couple of years tyler shook doesn't scare
07:15anybody competent quarterback fine quarterback doesn't scare anybody we should be fine we'll go
07:20down there we'll get a win and then look at it we'll be two and one coming back from the

07:24getting ready to take on the houston texans six and three looks great and i'm not getting any of that
07:30now it is like man you better go down there and win or we are gonna freak out do you

08:56scares me because yeah i told you before it's starting to stink and it's starting to smell like

09:19it does reverse a lot of the sentiment no it doesn't mean people are just going to totally believe in

09:29not believing in them around the league it was a nice story without a doubt but everybody asked
09:34the exact same question after every game is this sustainable is this sustainable yep well if they
09:39win another game they go on the road and win and now such a challenge at six and three so

09:44it doesn't matter the competition either because they've got a lot of winnable games on their schedule
09:48left too so no nobody's going to pick them to go to the afc championship game but that's not what
09:52this season was all supposed to be about anyway so they can quiet the noise if shador can go down
