03:56I'm making a personal
03:59Overture
04:00To address whatever
04:00Your concerns are
04:01Alright
04:02So tonight
04:02Let's get into the conversation
04:03I am Dr. Fro
04:04Thank you for joining me
04:05We are talking
04:06AEW Dynamite
04:08Blood and Guts
04:08We got two matches
04:09On the whole card
04:10Women's Blood and Guts
04:12And men
04:12And here's the thing
04:14Right
04:14I could go through
04:15Every subtle nuance
04:16Of both of these matches
04:17But it is just
04:18Too much stuff to follow
04:19So I'm going to apologize now
04:20A lot of what I say
04:21Is going to be very
04:24Abbreviated
04:24Let's say
04:25Because there's just too much
04:27The show starts
04:28Don Callis family
04:29In the back
04:29With Renee Young
04:31Renee Paquette
04:32I apologize
04:33And she's got
04:34Kyle Fletcher back there
04:35Don Callis starts the conversation
04:37Kyle Fletcher interjects
04:39And they basically talk about
04:40There are three
04:41Simple concepts
04:42As part of the
04:42Don Callis family
04:43Titles
04:44Money
04:45And then a Panda Okada
04:46Who says
04:47Family
04:49So hokey
04:50So weird
04:51But that was
04:52Like the yin
04:53The yang to that is
04:54We go over to Mick Foley
04:55Who's with Team Ospreay
04:56Ospreay's there
04:57Talking about the
04:58Don Callis family
04:59How desperate they are
05:00Talks to the Young Bucks
05:01Who knows all about
05:02How desperate Don Callis is
05:04Darby Allen's there
05:05Steven Borden is there
05:06Adam Copeland is there
05:08And my favorite part
05:10Of this interview segment
05:12Had nothing to do
05:12With any of the competitors
05:13Except for Adam Copeland
05:14Because Adam Copeland
05:16Goes and makes a line
05:17He says to Mick Foley
05:19About basically this match
05:22Being a throwback
05:23To their iconic match
05:25Their iconic hardcore match
05:28That they had
05:28Referencing back to his time
05:30In WWE
05:30Which I thought was
05:32Very very cool for them
05:33To incorporate that
05:34From there we kick off
05:35The action
05:35Women's Blood and Guts
05:36The matches start with
05:37Mega and look
05:38Here's the thing
05:39Megan Bane comes out
05:40She's got a chair
05:41Chris Statlander comes out
05:42She's got a trash can
05:44Full of weapons
05:44This match takes no time
05:46Before it's already
05:47Getting super physical
05:48And you know
05:49Somebody's getting
05:49Busted open tonight
05:50Next person out
05:52For the heels
05:52Persephone
05:53Bringing a briefcase
05:54And before long
05:55Megan Bane
05:56Is busted wide open
05:59Between the two of them
06:00Persephone and Megan Bane
06:01They end up
06:02You know nailing Statlander
06:03With a double move
06:04And Statlander is bleeding
06:07At one point
06:08Persephone grabs a hold
06:09Of a pair of pliers
06:10And tries to put
06:10The lockjaw
06:11On to
06:14Statlander
06:15Does not
06:16Statlander fights it off
06:17Fights it off
06:17And eventually
06:18She gets it locked in
06:19Which is going to bring out
06:20The next competitor
06:21Queen Aminata
06:22Her music kit
06:22She runs to the ring
06:23The new TBS champion
06:25And the battle is on
06:27She balances things out
06:28She starts to get
06:29Some control
06:30She really had a great
06:31Spot with Megan Bane
06:32And before long
06:34It is time for another one
06:35Sky Blue coming to the ring
06:37Bringing a light tube
06:38With her
06:39That she ends up
06:39Cracking Chris Statlander
06:41Over the head with
06:42And for people who
06:43If you're not somebody
06:44Who watches like
06:45Deathmatch Wrestling
06:46And don't understand
06:46Why these light tubes
06:48Are such a big deal
06:48They legit are glass
06:50And shatter those
06:51Over each other's head
06:52This is always serious
06:54To me when they use
06:54A light tube
06:55Very cool effect
06:56The cloud effect
06:57That they give off
06:58This was awesome
07:00And Sky Blue
07:01Coming to the ring
07:02Wearing white
07:03You know that
07:03That's not staying
07:04White very long
07:05You know it's going
07:05To get awfully bloody
07:06At some point as well
07:07We get Willow Nightingale
07:09To come out
07:09She's got a painted
07:10Trash can lid
07:11And a backpack
07:13She immediately goes to work
07:15And within minutes
07:17Megan Bain
07:18Chris Statlander
07:19And Sky Blue
07:20Are all a pool of blood
07:21Sky Blue's white outfit
07:23She's wearing
07:24Is already crimson
07:25And it's early in this match
07:27Eventually the backpack
07:28That was brought to the ring
07:29By Willow Nightingale
07:30Gets opened up
07:31And when she dumps it out
07:31There's some toy bricks
07:32And some glass
07:33Which she's going to put
07:35A spine buster
07:36On Sky Blue
07:37Right into
07:38This was insane
07:39I've never understood
07:41The need for glass
07:42But whatever
07:42AEW seems to be
07:44On board with it
07:44That seems like
07:45An indie show
07:46Kind of thing
07:46Or an old school
07:47ECW kind of thing
07:48They do it here
07:49The ladies
07:49More power to them
07:50They're doing some
07:51Crazy stuff out there
07:52Tekla is the next one out
07:53She brings a trash can
07:55Herself
07:56Again more back and forth
07:57It's kind of like
07:58A war games match
07:59Every person that comes out
08:00They've got some kind
08:01Of move they hit
08:01Some sequence
08:02Where their team
08:03Starts to get an advantage
08:04Right before they all
08:05Get taken out
08:05And you know
08:06The other side
08:07Finally brings out
08:08Their people
08:09Once Tekla is out
08:10The next one out
08:11Is Alex Windsor
08:12Bringing a 2x4
08:13With barbed wire
08:14Your new barbed wire
08:15Had to come into the place
08:16Somewhere very soon
08:18And she goes right to town
08:20Whacking people
08:20Lena Cross is out next
08:22Lena Cross
08:23Meeting up with Megan Bain
08:25The two of them
08:25Putting on a beat down
08:26On half the people out there
08:28Very solid stuff
08:30We get Harley Cameron
08:32To come out
08:32Bringing an instrument bag
08:34Which was funny
08:35Because at one point
08:35She pulls out a ukulele
08:36That is not going to fly
08:38Lena Cross blocks that
08:39And then out comes a guitar
08:40And she whacks Lena Cross
08:42With a guitar
08:43Very cool stuff
08:44Julia Hart is then out
08:46She has a hidden weapon
08:47That she's bringing to the ring
08:48She's going to use
08:49I mean it's just
08:50Constant
08:51It's like
08:51Everybody bringing weapons
08:52Everybody getting crazy
08:53Jamie Hayter
08:54Is the last one
08:55To come out
08:56Bringing a cooler
08:57Full of beer
08:58Why?
08:59I don't know
09:01But whatever
09:02It was solid
09:03I enjoyed it
09:05In the match
09:06Towards the end
09:07Harley Cameron
09:08Has the barbed wire
09:09They have
09:11Everything set up
09:12Where they have it
09:12Kind of like
09:13In the mouth
09:13Of Julia Hart
09:14And that is going to be
09:16What is going to
09:17Get to the victory
09:18Julia Hart is going to
09:20Give up
09:20Because of that
09:21Barbed wire in the face
09:22And the baby faces
09:24Because I don't really
09:25Have a team name for them
09:26Are going to pick up
09:27The win
09:28We do get a segment
09:29In the back
09:30Where Andrade is back
09:31They're talking about
09:32His match with
09:33Tommaso Ciampia
09:34We have a swerve segment
09:35And then what's really
09:37Exciting is we have
09:37A Kofi segment
09:38Where he's being
09:38Attacked by Bandito
09:40It leads to Hangman
09:41And Brody King
09:42Eventually meeting up
09:43With Bandito
09:44After he beats
09:44Kofi down
09:45And they decide
09:46They're going to
09:46Take this Texas
09:47Deathmatch
09:48At full gear
09:49And I think
09:49That's a great idea
09:50You know
09:51It's a great blow off
09:53For their feud
09:54I don't see any way
09:55They change those titles
09:56Back because I really
09:57Do think the New Day
09:58Need to go off
09:59Into the sunset
09:59And start challenging
10:01For the World Tag Team
10:02Championship
10:02But this should still
10:04Be a great match
10:04Either way
10:05I'll be curious
10:06To see how well
10:07The new level
10:07I should say
10:08How they perform
10:09In a Texas Deathmatch
10:10Because even though
10:11They've done some
10:12Uberleaf
10:12Overleaf
10:13Physical stuff
10:13In WWE
10:14Especially the Hell
10:15In a Cell Tag Team
10:16Match against the Usos
10:16This is going to be
10:18A whole nother level
10:19We get a segment
10:21With Kyle O'Reilly
10:22Orange Cassidy
10:23And Roddy Strong
10:23In the back
10:24And they are
10:26Approached
10:27They are frustrated
10:27With the cut
10:28They are approached
10:29By Jon Moxley
10:30He's asking for help
10:31And he actually slides
10:33A fork across the table
10:34To them
10:35He's talking for help
10:35For full gear
10:36And it sounds like
10:38They are going to be
10:38Joining the Death Riders
10:40Even though they've
10:40Had their differences
10:41And Moxley actually
10:42Points out that
10:43They've shared the ring
10:45Either way
10:45And I guess
10:46This is one more way
10:47That we can kind of
10:48Push Death Riders
10:50Towards their
10:50Inevitable baby face turn
10:51Which I guess is
10:52Theoretically already
10:53In full force
10:54But this is
10:55Pretty good stuff
10:56I didn't have
10:56Any trouble with it
10:57We get Renee
10:58Again interviewing
10:59The whole show
11:00Is blood and guts
11:01Are interviews
11:01And there's a lot
11:02Of interviews
11:03This time Renee's
11:04Interviewing Mercedes
11:05Monet
11:06Marina Shafir
11:06Is going to come out
11:07There's going to be
11:07A lot of argument
11:09Banter back and forth
11:10It gets physical
11:11Monet hitting
11:12Shafir
11:13She puts her
11:14You know
11:14She whacks her
11:15Into the steps
11:16Rolls her into the ring
11:17Puts on a statement maker
11:18And when she lets go
11:19Of it
11:20She goes to retreat
11:20Up the aisle
11:21And before she gets
11:22Far up the aisle
11:23Marina Shafir
11:23Is already on her feet
11:24And she is staring
11:25A hole
11:27Through Mercedes
11:28Monet
11:28I don't know
11:29If they'll switch
11:29The title off her yet
11:30But I would not
11:31Be opposed to it
11:32And Monet
11:33The way she was
11:34Making fun of Shafir
11:35For you know
11:36Being John Moxie's
11:38Lackey basically
11:38And all that kind of stuff
11:39This is going to be
11:40A great match
11:41No matter what happens
11:42I can't wait to see it
11:43I'm not sure
11:43Who's going to win though
11:44I struggle with this one
11:45I really do
11:46I could just go
11:47With the odds makers
11:47You know
11:48But I hate doing that
11:49It's obviously going to be
11:50Mercedes Monet
11:50I just
11:51I wouldn't mind
11:52Seeing Marina Shafir
11:53Win the championship
11:54If I'm being honest
11:55From there
11:56We get another
11:57Entrant to the
11:58Chris Jericho cruise
11:59Because Nick Wayne
12:00Is out to tell us
12:01How he's joining the cruise
12:03And he emphasizes
12:04That he beat Chris Jericho
12:05Whatever
12:06I guess that gets him
12:07A pop some places
12:08But he will be
12:09On the cruise now
12:10Apparently
12:10And from there
12:11We get the men's
12:12Blood and guts
12:13This was such a
12:14Bottle of chaos
12:15The match started
12:17With Darby Allen
12:18And his skateboard
12:19Facing off with
12:19Kyle Fletcher
12:20We end up getting
12:22Like look
12:23Tons of action
12:24Darby Allen is like
12:25I don't know why
12:26He goes out first
12:27He's so tiny
12:28And he's supposed to
12:29Just last and last
12:30And last
12:30And take such a beating
12:31And he does in this match
12:33To his credit
12:34He's a tough kid
12:35I guess
12:35You know
12:36But
12:37I don't know
12:37I would have liked
12:38To have seen a little
12:38Less of him
12:39And more of some
12:39Other people
12:40From there
12:41Kevin Knight
12:41Comes in second
12:42When Kevin Knight
12:43Is out there
12:43They're trying to do
12:44Like some tandem
12:45Move stuff
12:46He and Kyle Fletcher
12:47Back to working
12:48Relatively synchronous
12:49Nick Jackson
12:51Is the next one
12:52Out for the baby
12:52Faces
12:54And look
12:55The match is going
12:56And progressing
12:56Very very well
12:57There's no
12:58Really bad
13:01Spots or anything
13:02Like that
13:03Jake Doyle
13:04Comes out next
13:05There's a scene
13:06Where Darby Allen
13:09Gets his skateboard
13:10And waffles
13:10Kevin Knight
13:11With it
13:11That was actually
13:12Sickening
13:13It was a deep
13:13Thudding sound
13:14To it
13:14Matt Jackson
13:16Comes out next
13:16Followed by Mark Davis
13:17Followed by Adam Copeland
13:19And I know
13:20I'm just rambling off
13:21Who's coming out
13:21In what order
13:22And the reason
13:23I said that
13:23At the beginning
13:24Of the episode
13:24Is because
13:25It's just so much
13:26Action going on
13:27It's hard to keep up with
13:28And despite me
13:29Saying that
13:30I gotta be honest
13:31The women's match
13:32Was better
13:32If I'm telling the truth
13:33After Copeland
13:35Gets out there
13:35There's a melter
13:36Driver from the
13:37Young Bucks
13:37On Kyle Fletcher
13:39Eventually
13:40Ward Lowe
13:41Is going to come out
13:42And look
13:42He's back to looking
13:43Like a wrecking ball
13:44And a wrecking machine
13:46He's out there
13:46Doing some serious damage
13:48Before Stephen Borden
13:49Comes out
13:49And I was a little worried
13:50What he was going to look like
13:51In the ring
13:52After taking the fall
13:53The injury at WrestleDream
13:54He was back to normal
13:56He was solid
13:56He had no issues
13:58He was able to move
13:59And man
14:01This kid is so
14:01So so so talented
14:05At the end of the day
14:06We end up with
14:07Will Ospreay
14:07Being the final competitor
14:09To come to the ring
14:10And there's like
14:11A stack of tables
14:12That's put up
14:12At one point
14:13And towards the end
14:14Of the match
14:15We get a scene
14:15Where Adam Copeland
14:16Is handcuffed
14:17To the cage
14:19And Kyle Fletcher
14:20Pulls out a screwdriver
14:21Holds up to Will's throat
14:22Threatening to impale him
14:23Or what not
14:24And Adam Copeland
14:26Ends up surrendering
14:27Or giving up
14:28Or whatever you want
14:29To call it
14:29And the Don Cows
14:31Family win
14:31Which I was kind of
14:32Surprised with
14:33I didn't expect that
14:34Didn't see that coming
14:36After the win though
14:37Kyle Fletcher gives
14:38A motion to Wardlow
14:39Who then puts Darby Allen
14:40Through that entire
14:41Stack of tables
14:43Absolutely crazy stuff
14:45This was a very
14:47Very brutal match
14:48I still think
14:49The women's match
14:50Was better
14:51If I'm being honest
14:52And not just because
14:53They were a lot bloodier
14:54In my opinion
14:55But I was just so
14:56I think we get used
14:57To the guys
14:58You know
14:59Being smash mouth
15:00In your face
15:00The way they've always been
15:01And I don't think
15:02The ladies always
15:03Get that credit
15:04For being that tough person
15:05And she's somebody
15:06Who definitely was
15:07So I don't know
15:09All in all
15:09I thought the show
15:10Was pretty solid
15:11But I thought
15:12The ladies did better
15:13I really did
15:14So kudos to the ladies
15:16Five star rating
15:17I would say
15:17We'll give it
15:18Oh I don't know
15:19Three and three quarter stars
15:20You know
15:21For the show
15:22I hope you liked it
15:23Let me know what you thought
