03:33Once again, welcome to this episode.

03:34We are getting into all things WWE Monday Netflix Raw, starting the show with Adam Pearce in the ring, and

03:41I'll be honest with you, he had me faked out.

03:43I thought he was out there to make a major announcement, and the announcement was going to be that Crown

03:47Jewel was moving locations.

03:49I really believe that the minute I saw him in the ring to start the show.

03:53This would have been the perfect time.

03:54It would give you enough time to sell tickets, create the new venue, all of that, but that was not

04:00what he was there for.

04:01He was there to announce that despite being cleared last week, Stephanie Vecure was not medically cleared to compete tonight,

04:06and instead, in place of the match between Vecure and Becky Lynch, you were getting a WWE Women's Heavyweight Championship

04:14match

04:15between Liv Morgan, the defending champion, and Becky Lynch.

04:18This was exciting.

04:20Not something I saw coming.

04:22Very cool concept.

04:23As he's explaining the changes, he goes to talk about other changes to the show when he is interrupted by

04:29Sami Zayn.

04:30Sami Zayn coming out, and he is talking trash about everybody.

04:34At first, he was actually somewhat complimentary to Roman.

04:37He said he wasn't going to give him a hard time about his part-time schedule, that he's earned that,

04:42that he wishes he wasn't in Fresno, where they were tonight.

04:45And then he starts running down the list of people who have been a thorn in his side lately,

04:49from the CM Punks to Kevin Owens, all these people, Trick Williams.

04:54And then he brings up Javon Evans, whose music hits momentarily, and Javon Evans comes out to get in his

05:00face.

05:01He talks about how he may not even be the guy to go to Crown Jewel because he'd like to

05:05have an opportunity to go to Crown Jewel to face Roman Reigns.

05:08And that's when Adam Pearce comes out after Sami Zayn basically rips into Javon as not being on his level.

05:14And Adam Pearce makes it official that tonight, we are getting Javon Evans versus Sami Zayn for the WWE Championship.

05:22And that match is next.

05:25They go to commercial.

05:26Coming out of commercial, we get a just wonderful little match between Sami Zayn and Javon Evans.

05:34Some near falls.

05:35Now, at no point did I think Sami was going to lose.

05:37I can't imagine him selling Sami, losing the championship to Javon, and having Javon go against Roman in Saudi Arabia.

05:44However, they did tease with your emotions just a little bit because they play Penta's music.

05:49He comes out with that custom cash-in briefcase, fireworks blowing everywhere.

05:54And I actually had a moment where I thought, oh my gosh, is Penta going to cash in tonight and

05:59do the rematch?

06:00Penta Roman at Crown Jewel.

06:02And I would have been on board with that.

06:03I think that would be a great way to do it.

06:05But I still think Roman and Sami is the better storyline.

06:08Right before we get anywhere near that happening, there's a referee coming to the ring with him.

06:13Braun Breaker appears and takes out Penta.

06:16This leads to a slight distraction for Javon Evans.

06:19When he gets back into the ring, Sami hits him.

06:22He ends up picking up, you know, the match itself.

06:26Sami getting the win over Javon does not surprise me.

06:28The fact that Braun, I don't know why Javon was distracted by Braun.

06:33When you're challenging for the World Championship, you keep your focus in the ring.

06:37When it happened outside, it already happened.

06:39It was over with.

06:40But instead, Sami ends up catching him and picks up the win.

06:43Sami retains.

06:44And after the match, here comes Braun into the ring.

06:47And when Penta comes in to save Javon from a beatdown by Braun Breaker, then we get Bronson Reed into

06:54the ring.

06:54And the vision show up, Logan Paul, everybody minus Austin Theory and Maxine Dupree.

07:00I don't know where they were.

07:01It's a little weird that they weren't a part of this beatdown.

07:03They beat up Javon.

07:05They hit the running spear on Javon.

07:07Same thing with Penta.

07:10Solid stuff.

07:11I mean, honestly, the vision looked like the vision of old in this.

07:15They looked dominant.

07:16They looked forceful.

07:17No Obafemi running, which I thought might have happened.

07:21As a matter of fact, no Obafemi at all in this episode.

07:24Not a lot of people on this episode.

07:26No Roman Reigns.

07:27You know, all that kind of stuff.

07:28With the exception of a vignette a little bit later.

07:30But that's stupid pre-recorded nonsense anyways.

07:33So we have the match.

07:34The match was solid.

07:35I had no problem with any of it.

07:36Then we get a recap of the 946 Bloodline events from last week.

07:44Which I know they have to do this once a week.

07:46You know, recap what the exciting thing was the week prior.

07:49I have no problem with that.

07:50I have a problem with you having this here and then later on having more vignettes about

07:54the exact same thing.

07:56So we have that recap.

07:57Then we have a backstage segment with Judgment Day.

08:00There's a brief SmackDown recap where we see the Roxanne-Chelsea Green match.

08:05Tiffany Stratton almost cashing in on Liv Morgan.

08:09And then we're in the back.

08:10Judgment Day is talking about the match.

08:12Liv is furious.

08:13Talking about how everybody is against her.

08:15And how she's going to handle it tonight.

08:17She goes off camera.

08:19Dom goes off to help console her.

08:20While the rest of Judgment Day plans her strategy for other things going on tonight.

08:24Because we still have Raquel taking on EO later on in the show.

08:28From there, we get a recap of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

08:32Leading directly into their no disqualification match.

08:35I said to my friends that I was talking to about this beforehand.

08:38If Bayley were to have lost here, 100% I think she was leaving and going to AEW.

08:44If she were to win here, I think she's staying.

08:47Not only was this an incredible physical match.

08:52Tons of chair spots, kendo shots.

08:54This was hard hitting.

08:56There was some great outside of the ring action.

08:58Bayley at one point diving and going into the metal steps.

09:03Lyra hitting her finisher off a pair of chairs.

09:06Stood up.

09:07There was just so much.

09:08There was one point where Lyra came off the ropes.

09:10And it looked like she could have broken some ribs the way she smashed into the top of the chair

09:14setup.

09:15But this was a great match.

09:17This is easily the best match that two of these ladies have had.

09:21And it ends with Lyra being put into a cross face by Bayley with the kendo stick in the mouth.

09:28Where she eventually taps out.

09:30And Bayley picks up the win.

09:32And defeats Lyra Valkyria.

09:34Standing tall over her with chairs over top of her.

09:36This tells me that I firmly believe that Bayley is staying put.

09:40Now I'll probably eat my words and she may disappear in a month.

09:43But I really do believe that you would not give her this definitive victory over Lyra if she was leaving.

09:49Now the question becomes, where does she fit into the greater scheme of things around WWE?

09:54I think it would be beneficial for her to move over to SmackDown and get away from Lyra.

09:58I really do.

09:58If she's going to stay on this brand, she deserves a world championship program at this point.

10:04Now I understand that Becky and Stephanie Valkyria are going to have their program.

10:08So where does Liv go from here?

10:10I'd like to see a Becky-Liv program.

10:13I really would.

10:14Now how do you get there after Crown Jewel?

10:16That's where you get there.

10:17I'm still not sure what's going on with Tiffany Stratton.

10:20I actually got very excited that the prospects on SmackDown of Tiffany Stratton and Liv Morgan feuding over that championship.

10:26Not sure if they're going to pull the trigger on that.

10:28But a Bailey-Liv feud is something I would love to see.

10:32Maybe we get that in the near future.

10:34We do get the announcement that Dan Housel is going to have his very nice, very evil edition of SmackDown.

10:39That should be really interesting.

10:42I'm sure it's probably being pre-recorded because they'll be setting up for Crown Jewel.

10:47That apparently is going to move forward in Saudi Arabia despite pretty much everybody in the world thinking that this

10:53is a bad idea.

10:55All the way down to the United States Embassy and everything else thinking this is a bad idea.

11:00But from there, we get an intro for Io.

11:04She's coming out.

11:05And then before we get the match, they do another 9-4-6 recap.

11:09And this is what I was talking about earlier.

11:11I don't need multiple 9-4-6 and Bloodline segments.

11:14I don't.

11:15If you want to have a segment, you want to recap last week, fine.

11:18If you want to have them in person, come out and face each other this week, fine.

11:22But I don't need repeated, recorded vignettes about the exact same feud.

11:28Especially when there is a segment of the audience that's kind of over the bloodline stuff.

11:33Even the 9-4-6 stuff.

11:34Now, I get it.

11:35We got to get the Survivor Series war games.

11:37This is what's going to happen.

11:38But we got nothing tonight other than the announcement that Solo and Royce Keys are going to face off next

11:44week.

11:44So we did all these side vignettes to get to that point.

11:48And that's kind of ridiculous, if you ask me.

11:50Waste of valuable television time that you could have given to somebody else.

11:53However, after that recap, 9-4-6 promo, whatever you want to call it, Raquel is in the ring.

11:58And we have our matchup between the Women's Intercontinental Champion and Io Sky, Raquel and Io.

12:04And again, very solid match.

12:07I really did think a couple times that maybe Raquel was going to win.

12:10Io did end up picking up the win.

12:13Which came out of nowhere, really.

12:16When she did her moonsault and got the knees brought up, I thought that might have been it for her.

12:20I thought Raquel would have gone for the Tejana bomb right there and finished it.

12:23That did not happen.

12:25Io is still in it.

12:26And eventually, Io gets the pinfall victory.

12:29Now, obviously, this is going to lead to an Intercontinental Championship match between Io and Raquel.

12:33I actually think Raquel wins that.

12:35I hope not.

12:36Because I think Io winning that IC title makes her a Grand Slam champion for the women.

12:41And the only thing she wouldn't have had would be the United States Championship.

12:44It's awful difficult for her to win that when she's not on SmackDown.

12:47But she would have had the Tag Team Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the World Championship.

12:53You know, I just think it's time.

12:55I really do.

12:56From there, that's where we get our Bloodline segment, our vignette from Solo accepting the challenge by Royce Keys.

13:02It's official for next week.

13:04I get it.

13:05I understand it.

13:06I just don't like having, like I said, multiple segments for the exact same thing.

13:10Then we get a Tag Team match.

13:12And I'm a little concerned about this Tag Team match.

13:14Chad Gable and Dragon Lee taking on Ethan Page and Big Cass.

13:17Now, here's the thing, right?

13:20Everything is fine.

13:22And I'm sorry.

13:23Dragon Lee.

13:24Wow.

13:25He is phenomenal.

13:27That guy is easily one of the best wrestlers on the entire roster.

13:32And I'll go so far as to say he may be one of the best wrestlers in all major companies

13:38in the world.

13:39He is fantastic.

13:41And when they talk about him being the next Rey Mysterio, I am okay with him being a World Championship

13:46contender at some point.

13:47I really am.

13:48He is that impressive.

13:49Now, tonight, they are in a Tag Team match.

13:51And there is a spot outside the ring where Chad Gable gets taken out by Ethan Page with his finishing

13:56hold.

13:57And it really, I couldn't tell.

13:59If you look close, it did look like Chad Gable's leg and foot hit hard.

14:04And then he immediately grabbed at his knee.

14:06And then he let it go for a second.

14:08And then the referee came outside.

14:09And Dragon Lee ended up coming outside.

14:11Dragon Lee called the ref out.

14:12And then other referees come down to check on him.

14:15He does not get back in the match at all.

14:17Now, I don't know if this is by design.

14:19Because then in the match, you have Ethan Page and Big Cass, Double Team, and Dragon Lee.

14:24And Dragon Lee is countering, like, everything they do.

14:26And it was so well done and so well choreographed.

14:29If this is a legit injury and this is how they, like, played off the injury and just kind of

14:34were winging it, that would blow my mind with how incredible this was.

14:38If this was a planned spot, it was so convincing, they also get kudos for that.

14:44This was awesome, awesome work.

14:46I don't want to think of Chad Gable being injured.

14:48I really think that would be terrible.

14:51He's on such a high right now.

14:53But I do love that we got to see Dragon Lee really taking it to Ethan Page and Big Cass.

14:57Now, in the end, you know, the numbers do get to the better of him.

15:00And Ethan Page picks up the pinfall victory.

15:02But that was not for lack of trying.

15:04Dragon Lee did everything you could possibly expect him to do.

15:07He looked really strong in this altercation.

15:09And I loved everything about this.

15:11This, for me, was the match of the night.

15:13And that's saying something.

15:14Because the no disqualification match was fantastic.

15:16The main event was awesome, too.

15:18That's saying something.

15:19This was a really, really, really good match.

15:23From there, we get a promo for Agent of Shadows, which is that micro-series that they were talking about.

15:31Some of the wrestlers were going to have Michael Hayes in there.

15:34Michael Hayes in the news recently this week because he has to go and have more surgeries.

15:38He's had all these things replaced and repaired and has to have more.

15:41I'm sure he's going to miss some time at work, and that's not going to be good.

15:43But right now, he didn't miss his opportunity to be in Agent of Shadows.

15:46Because now, after that promo, I understood all the wrestlers were going to be in there.

15:50I didn't know Michael Hayes was going to be a part of this.

15:51I'm actually kind of looking forward to seeing it.

15:53I want to see what they did with this.

15:55It sounds pretty cool.

15:56We do get a Becky Lynch promo in the back talking about how she wanted to face Stephanie Vicarra.

16:00She was going to give her three weeks.

16:02How she ended up, you know, she should have given her three hours, and now she's backing out.

16:06But the fact that she's going to get the wrestle live tonight is exciting.

16:09She's going to have an opportunity to win that championship.

16:11And next time, when she does face Stephanie Vicarra, it'll be for even bigger odds because

16:15she'll be the world champion.

16:16I actually kind of believe that might have happened.

16:19Then we get into the main event.

16:21Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, and for the longest time, there is no outside interference.

16:26And these ladies are tearing it down.

16:29They were so physical.

16:31Everything.

16:32The inside.

16:33The outside.

16:33The sunset flip powerbomb looking, like, you know, Mexican Destroyer looking move for

16:39live outside on Becky.

16:40That looked really, really vicious.

16:44Towards the end of the match, after multiple near falls, oblivion, you know, everything.

16:51The disarmer.

16:52I actually thought we were going to get a submission with the disarmer.

16:54And we were so close.

16:56Got to the ropes.

16:57Drag her away from the ropes.

16:58She had nowhere to go.

16:59This, that, and the other.

17:00Judgment Day runs out finally towards the end of the match.

17:03And this really upset me.

17:04We can't just have one match.

17:07Just one match where Liv doesn't have Judgment Day run out.

17:10It makes me not want to watch her matches.

17:13It's boring.

17:14It's every freaking match.

17:16Judgment Day runs out.

17:18And when Judgment Day comes out, it leads to Becky Lynch basically cleaning house, taking

17:23them all out, hitting the manhandle slam.

17:26One, two, and I mean the closest microseconds away from three.

17:30Judgment Day hits the ring again, causing the disqualification.

17:34So Becky Lynch gets ripped off.

17:35Then it's a three-on-one beatdown, which brings out Chelsea Green.

17:40Chelsea Green puts on some great offense, takes out Liv.

17:43I apologize.

17:44She takes out Raquel.

17:45And she takes out Roxanne.

17:47Eventually, Liv gets involved.

17:48Now they take out Chelsea Green.

17:50And now Io is coming out.

17:52So Io is out there.

17:53She takes out Roxanne again.

17:55And she takes out Raquel again.

17:58Very solid stuff.

18:00Liv Morgan ends up getting in the ring.

18:02And at one point, everybody's laid out, including Liv, inside the ring based on Io Sky.

18:10Io Sky hits her move.

18:12Then Roxanne takes Io out.

18:14And as she's laying in the ring, here comes Tiffany Stratton with a referee in hand.

18:18The place erupted.

18:20It was off the chain.

18:21And as she runs to the ring, first she hits the prettiest moonsault ever.

18:27And I thought she was going to take the briefcase and waffle her again.

18:29But instead, she goes to cash in.

18:31And here comes Dirty Dom to pull her out of the ring and save her championship yet again.

18:37This was so infuriating.

18:40Because, you know, WWE is all about moments.

18:42And you're not going to get a bigger, like, eruption from the crowd for a cash-in than you got

18:47tonight for Tiffany Stratton.

18:49And I'm going to be honest with you.

18:50When she won Money in the Bank, people were upset about that.

18:54Because you figured she was going to cash in on Chelsea Green and whatnot.

18:58This was exciting.

19:00Think how much more intriguing the crown jewel match would be if it was Tiffany Stratton winning the world championship

19:06from Liv.

19:07And it was Tiffany against Chelsea Green.

19:09You're still getting the Chelsea Green-Tiffany Stratton match.

19:13It just wouldn't be for their championship.

19:15It would be for the crown jewel championship.

19:17Then they could go their separate ways.

19:18And Tiffany Stratton on Raw is not a bad idea.

19:21I actually think that's very intriguing as well.

19:23Multiple opponents that she hasn't had before.

19:25She's been on SmackDown for forever.

19:27I got very excited about this.

19:29To see it messed up again with more Judgment Day interference.

19:33I have never been more over Judgment Day than I am right now.

19:37I'm sick of it.

19:38I don't want to see it anymore.

19:39It's laborious.

19:41It's repetitive nonsense.

19:42And I'm going to be honest with you.

19:44It makes every one of your babyfaces look ridiculously stupid that they keep going out there without having backup.

19:50If you're on the babyface side of things, you do not go to the ring against Judgment Day without two

19:55or three people with you to make sure that nobody can counter anything you do out there.

20:00And if you do, you're an idiot.

20:02Vakura's an idiot.

20:03Becky Lynch is an idiot.

20:04Io's an idiot.

20:04They're all stupid.

20:05David, you got so many women on the roster.

20:08Bring somebody with you and prevent the Judgment Day interference.

20:10Now, look, I get it.

20:11It's predetermined.

20:12This is part of the storyline.

20:13I just hate it.

20:15I hate everything about it.

20:16It's been done for four or five years at this point.

20:18Judgment Day has been around.

20:19I'm over it.

20:20I want it to end.

20:21I want it to go away.

20:23I need to move and see something else.

20:26However, that's not what we got.

20:27And that's the show.

20:29So how did you feel about the show?

20:36For me, looking at this, I've been doing this lately.

20:38I'm going to say this is a solid three and three quarter star show.

20:41A lot of really great stuff.

20:43Some of the couple of things here and there that could have been better, could have been worse.

20:46But I'm not complaining other than I don't need to see Judgment Day ever again.
