03:53Tonight, we're getting into some AEW Wrestle Dream conversation,
03:56and then we're going to get into almost like the bad news episode.
03:59We'll get into Wrestle Dream first, and the conversation is about Clockwork Carnage.
04:03The match type that Will Ospreay is bringing for a world championship opportunity,
04:07we already saw some people qualify.
04:09Samoa Joe is set to go.
04:11We have speedball Mike Bailey.
04:13He qualified tonight on collision.
04:15And then the question comes up, who is it after that?
04:18Who else is going to be in this match?
04:20Well, Dave Meltzer, who always has his pulse on the AEW planning and booking,
04:24because, you know, he's not in Tony's back pocket at all.
04:27He has a report claiming that Adam Copeland, Darby Allen, Claudio Castagnoli, Nick Wayne,
04:33Gabe Kidd, Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshka, Orange Cassidy, Ricochet, and Wardlow
04:39are the considered applicants for the match.
04:41Roosh is a possibility, even though El Toro recently said on social media
04:45he doesn't expect to wrestle for AEW anytime soon, probably not until 2027,
04:49so I don't think Roosh will be a part of it, but he's another one they've talked up.
04:52And this match, it's going to be very different.
04:55So keeping in mind, it almost has like a Royal Rumble feel
04:59with like an Elimination Chamber outcome early
05:02that transitions into something totally different later, like an Iron Man match.
05:06So basically, two wrestlers start every three minutes.
05:08Somebody is added to the match.
05:10If anybody gets pinned until all competitors are in the ring, they're out.
05:14Once the people are all in the ring, all the competitors have been introduced,
05:18then it goes to a time period where pinfalls and submissions count as points,
05:23and the person with the most falls wins.
05:25It's a very unique match concept, and when you look at the names that are on that list,
05:29here's what it boils down to.
05:30Does anybody in their right mind think that Will Ospreay is going to lose a championship
05:34in a match type that he's bringing to the company this shortly after winning the championship?
05:38I think it's a vehement absolutely not.
05:41Not going to happen.
05:42It doesn't matter who's in the match.
05:44It doesn't matter who they put out there.
05:45Will Ospreay is winning the match, and I think he should.
05:48But this is a very interesting match concept idea.
05:51I hope it's something that Tony finds a way to really maximize and bring something unique
05:55to their brand because that's the kind of stuff that separates you from the competition,
05:58and that's something I think that he could do very well.
06:01He always tries to be super, super creative, and you could tell from the way he books,
06:05Tony is a diehard junkie wrestling fan like you and I are.
06:08So his perspective on match types and match booking is more fan-friendly,
06:13and I think that's wonderful.
06:14As a matter of fact, Conrad Thompson, as we were doing an interview,
06:16and he was saying the same thing, that that's why he's kind of tuned out of WWE lately
06:21because they're booking for investors where Tony Khan is booking for fans,
06:26and he's more interested in that programming right now, not the WWE programming.
06:29I actually kind of am starting to feel that way myself.
06:32There's too many commercials, too many talking segments in WWE.
06:36I just want to see in-ring action, and I mean great in-ring action with booking that makes sense,
06:40and Tony Khan does a great job with that, and hopefully this match will be a unique opportunity
06:44to see that firsthand.
06:45I've got to talk about some crazy news.
06:47There was a missile attack in Riyadh at the airport, and now there's a serious security alert
06:54being issued by the U.S. Embassy before WWE Crown Jewel,
06:56and now the conversations are really getting intense internally about whether or not they have to move this,
07:01and there was a report about a week and a half ago that potentially they'd be moving it to Las
07:05Vegas again,
07:06which I think is a terrible idea.
07:07There's so many other towns and venues you can go to,
07:10but this Middle Eastern situation is very serious,
07:12and WWE needs to look at the safety of their crew far more important than putting on a show
07:17for these wealthy Saudis who want to pay $50 million a show.
07:22I understand money.
07:23I also understand life and death a whole lot more important than the money, just saying.
07:27So when they're hitting your airport that you're going to be using to fly into Saudi Arabia,
07:31I really don't think that's the time of year you need to be putting your talent at risk.
07:35It also, in my opinion, really puts WrestleMania in danger of being canceled.
07:40I mean, not canceled, but moved, which I'm sure will throw a wrench in Tony Khan's plans,
07:45because he's planning to put on a big show for AEW and many of the independents in the United States
07:50the same weekend as WrestleMania is going to be overseas,
07:52but if something happens and WrestleMania has to change, that could shift everything for everybody,
07:56so we'll have to wait and see how that plays out.
07:58Let's get into the other two tidbits for tonight,
08:00and like I said, this is like the bad news episode.
08:02First, we have bombing the airport in Saudi Arabia.
08:04Now, we go to Too Cold Scorpio.
08:06He was found, you know, he took a plea deal.
08:08He pled guilty to charges of second-degree assault and armed criminal action on Friday,
08:14so he is going to jail.
08:15He's been sentenced.
08:16He will spend six years in prison over his assault charge.
08:19Former WCW, WWE, and ECW competitor.
08:23If you've never gotten an opportunity to watch Too Cold Scorpio, even recently, I mean, at his advanced age,
08:28he still can go in the ring.
08:29I watched an ECW reunion show where he was in there defending some random championship from who knows where,
08:34but he still looked great.
08:36He really did, even at this age, so, you know, he is not going to be competing anytime soon
08:40because he's going away to jail for six years.
08:42I don't remember all the particulars.
08:43I remember there, I think he pulled a knife and stabbed somebody who was given some ruckus
08:47and riffraff at a place he was being a security guard for or whatnot,
08:49but some serious, serious charges levied against him, and now he's got some serious time to pay.
08:53From there, we're going to go to an update on the story that is the most bizarre of the week.
08:57El Hijo Dave Fishman, who is a Mexican wrestler down doing a show for,
09:02I forget the name of the promotion, El Patron something or other.
09:05They were doing this match, and he took the 75-year-old referee without pre-planning it,
09:09without getting his okay, at least that's the word,
09:12and he hit him with the double underhook pile driver,
09:14much like the one that Pente uses or Kevin Owens uses, like the package pile driver,
09:19and when the referee hits, he goes down, he stays down,
09:22people don't check on him because they think he's selling.
09:24The wrestler himself, El Hijo Dave Fishman, he goes off,
09:27he's taking pictures with the crowd and everything,
09:29and the ref is still laying in the ring.
09:30It turns out the ref has died.
09:32There was no medical team on site.
09:35They had to wait for an ambulance to get there.
09:37Some people in the crowd tried to resuscitate the guy.
09:39It wasn't working.
09:39By the time they got there, here's where it gets weird.
09:42They didn't even take him to the hospital.
09:44They took him straight to the coroner's office because they already declared him dead on arrival.
09:49And then here's where things get real.
09:51So the fishman gets arrested.
09:53He gets booked, fingerprinted.
09:54There's a mugshot online that looks like he's smiling in the mugshot, from my opinion.
09:58And after all this is going down, they have this crazy thing there where he could just pay restitution.
10:04So he goes, and it was already reported that the promotion that booked him was going to help him with
10:09legal costs and things like that.
10:10So he basically goes to the family of the referee, and he basically buys them off.
10:17He gives them some sum of money, and then he doesn't go to jail.
10:21There's no charges.
10:21He's released.
10:22He's been let go.
10:23And there's not even an autopsy because the guy, the referee, I forget his name off the top of my
10:29head.
10:29I apologize.
10:30That's terrible for me to say.
10:31But apparently once he died and all that, if they felt like they strongly understood what happened, and he pays
10:37the restitution, he's already been buried.
10:39You can find footage of his funeral online.
10:42The whole incident only took place a few days ago.
10:45So two, three days ago, and you already have the guy on the ground, no autopsy done, and the guy
10:49who basically killed this guy in the ring, no consequence whatsoever other than a monetary agreement with the family just
10:55to make it go away.
10:56Absolutely bizarre, crazy stuff.
10:58I can't believe that this is 2026, and that's the kind of stuff that's still happening in the world.
11:03Like I said, crazy episode tonight.
