00:00Coach, real quick here on Tanner McKee and what the Eagles have to do.
00:04How tough is that situation when you lose your starting quarterback?
00:07You can think whatever about Jalen Hurts' skill set,
00:10but now you've got a drop-back guy that you've got to,
00:13with an offensive line that's really kind of in shambles itself here too.
00:17And now you're getting Barkley back,
00:18which is going to be big on Monday night against the Cowboys.
00:21If you're Sean Manning and you're Nick Sirianni,
00:24how do you go into this game?
00:25What are you trying to establish?
00:28You got to let him play.
00:30Yeah, I mean, you really do.
00:30Obviously, you're going to have to rely on Barkley to some extent,
00:34but that offensive line I know is different.
00:36You know, there's a big change from last year and years in the past,
00:40but you understand the quarterback and what he's capable of doing,
00:45and you can't handcuff him.
00:46You just got to let him play.
00:47And it goes back to what we said earlier here,
00:49and I'm sure you agree with this as a former player,
00:52is you got to trust these guys that they're going to make these plays.
00:55You can't assume that they can't make it.
00:56And you do that, then you just handcuff the whole team.
00:59Yeah, I mean, Coach, that's one thing that they're doing right now.
01:02It's next man up, and that's always been a mentality here.
01:05And plus, getting Barkley back, Coach,
01:08establishing the run is a quarterback's best friend, right?
01:12Oh, there's no question about it.
01:13You know, just trotting a great back out onto the field,
01:17whether it gets a handoff or not,
01:19it changes the entire defense in their approach to the game.
01:22Yeah, and then, you know, you're starting to talk about getting into play action
01:26and getting Barkley back, especially with that run game,
01:29where it's now the 29th best running attack.
01:31Two years ago with Jeff Stoutman, Coach,
01:34that thing was the best of all time.
01:37I mean, one of the greatest offensive running attacks of all time.
