00:09A single reply from a Marvel artist just raised a massive question, has the character fans
00:15believe is Doctor Strange been cut from Avengers Doomsday?
00:19Within days, one insider said he's all over the movie, another said he only appears at
00:25the very beginning and near the very end.
00:27Three sources, three different answers, and not one word of confirmation from Marvel.
00:33So what's really going on?
00:35Because the truth about this one character decides whether Doctor Doom is quietly building
00:40his own team of Avengers.
00:42And it ties into something even darker, a theory about what Doom may have done to the
00:47Hulk, plus a third trailer that insiders say is locked and ready to drop.
00:52For anyone catching up, Doomsday is directed by the Russo brothers, stars Robert Downey Jr.
00:57as Doctor Doom, and arrives in theaters December 18th.
01:01Secret Wars follows a year later.
01:04The artist is Jorge Molina, and he drew a trading card sketch for the Magic the Gathering crossover
01:09with Doomsday.
01:11The finished art shows Doom standing with three masked women, the Latverian witches.
01:15But an earlier version of that same piece had a fourth figure at Doom's side, a man.
01:21When a follower asked who he was, Molina said he couldn't remember the character's name,
01:26but that the figure had been removed from the film.
01:29That was reported October 13th.
01:32Now think about how vague that is.
01:34Removed from the film?
01:35Or removed from the artwork?
01:37Marvel hasn't said.
01:39Outlets covering it laid out two possibilities.
01:42Either the character really was cut, or Marvel scrubbed him from the art because he's a surprise
01:47they'd rather keep hidden.
01:48To see why fans care, you need to know who Boris is.
01:52In the comics, Boris first appeared in Fantastic Four Annual Number 2, back in 1964, inside
01:59Doom's origin story.
02:01He was a friend of Doom's father, Werner, a Latverian healer who fled the ruler whose wife
02:06he couldn't save and died in the cold.
02:09Werner asked Boris to look after young Victor.
02:12Boris stayed.
02:13Decades later, he was still there, Doom's loyal servant.
02:17And, by Doom's own account, something close to his only friend.
02:21In the MCU though, Boris is a codename attached to a masked figure.
02:26Leaked promo images that surfaced in August reportedly showed a third eye on that mask.
02:32And that detail points straight at Doctor Strange, who grew a third eye at the end of
02:37Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022.
02:40Marvel hasn't confirmed any of it.
02:43Which brings us back to the contradiction.
02:45The artist says, removed.
02:47A scooper known as My Time to Shine Hello says Boris appears only at the beginning and
02:53near the end.
02:54And James Mack says Boris is with Doom constantly, in multiple scenes.
02:58Though outlets describe Mack as a far less reliable source.
03:02So, here's the honest picture.
03:05Nobody has shown their work.
03:07Now, if Strange really is standing beside Doom, the comics explain why that would hurt.
03:12In the 2015 Secret Wars, Doom absorbs god-like power and stitches the remains of dead universes
03:19into one patchwork planet called Battleworld.
03:22Doctor Strange becomes its sheriff, Doom's right hand, and one of the few people who remember
03:27the old reality, he's also hiding something.
03:31Years earlier, he'd found the life raft carrying the surviving heroes, and he told no one.
03:37When the truth comes out, Strange teleports those heroes away to safety, and Doom kills him
03:43for it.
03:44The MCU has been laying track towards something like this.
03:47In the mid-credits scene of Multiverse of Madness, Clea tells Strange that he caused an
03:53incursion.
03:53According to leaks, Strange is the one who explains why the multiverse is collapsing in Doomsday,
03:59and he's even rumored to get into a big fight with Thor in the final battle.
04:04Those are leaks, not facts.
04:06Some artwork circulating online reportedly goes further, showing Doom's inner circle gathered
04:12in his castle, Strange in the middle, with Clea, Gambit, Vision, and Baron Mordo around
04:17him.
04:18I couldn't trace that image to any reliable report, so treat it as unverified.
04:23There is older context though.
04:25Back in March 2025, a Marvel concept artist named Mushk Rizvi posted a badge of art on ArtStation
04:32and took it down within minutes.
04:35Some outlets read one image as Strange and Yelena Belova serving Doom.
04:40Joe Russo later said that artwork wasn't from Doomsday or Secret Wars.
04:44As for the witches, the costumes were revealed at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
04:50Fans guessed Clea, Sylvie, and the Scarlet Witch, and an August leak fueled that guess.
04:55But on October 7th, a report claimed the witches might simply be original Latverian characters,
05:01including reported casting for Sandra Huller.
05:04Neither version is confirmed.
05:06Put it together, and one idea keeps surfacing.
05:10Doom isn't just beating heroes, he's collecting them.
05:13Marvel even built a replica of Doom's lab at New York Comic-Con October 8th through 11th,
05:19filled with trophies, including Ultron's head, Thanos' broken helmet, and a piece of the Venom
05:25symbiote.
05:26Insiders have floated that Gambit, who reportedly fights alongside the X-Men for most of the movie,
05:32and Sam Wilson, could end up on Doom's side.
05:35If that's true, the final act isn't heroes storming Latveria against robot armies.
05:41It's heroes fighting their own friends.
05:43And that would fit a claim that Doomsday has far less humor than the typical Marvel movie.
05:49If you're enjoying this breakdown, hit the like button.
05:52It genuinely helps.
05:53And that collector idea is why the next story is so unsettling.
05:57Because one of the strongest Avengers may already be in Doom's sights.
06:02Back in January, Mark Ruffalo told Empire, while promoting Crime 101, that he wouldn't
06:08be in Doomsday.
06:10Then came September 25th and Avengers Endgame Encore, the re-release with new scenes.
06:16In one, Bruce Banner is alone in an underground bunker, recording a message about a gamma experiment.
06:22Doom's voice is heard off-camera.
06:25Green magic floods the room, Banner turns into the Hulk, and all that's left behind
06:30is a glowing sigil on the floor.
06:33Joe Russo told Empire that Banner is in that bunker because of the fallout from Spider-Man
06:38Brand New Day, and that he's certainly involved in the story that revolves around Doom.
06:43What the Russos wouldn't do is confirm that Ruffalo appears in Doomsday.
06:48That's where theory takes over.
06:50An early rumor claimed Doom would have an evil version of the Avengers, and some fans
06:55now wonder if the Hulk we eventually see is really the Hulk we know.
07:00The name they keep landing on is Maestro.
07:03Maestro debuted in The Incredible Hulk Future Imperfect Issue 1 in December 1992, created
07:10by writer Peter David and artist George Perez.
07:12He's a Hulk from a ruined future, one that survived a nuclear war and absorbed the radiation.
07:19He keeps Banner's genius and the Hulk's strength, and he rules as a tyrant.
07:25He's even crossed paths with Doom.
07:27The two once teamed up, then turned on each other.
07:30And in the 2015 Secret Wars, Maestro ruled his own realm on Battleworld, a domain called Dystopia,
07:38as one of Doom's barons.
07:40Does anything confirm that for the movie?
07:42No.
07:43An earlier leak even had the Hulk in Latveria wearing a Doom-style mask, but nothing backs
07:49that up.
07:50Some rumors claim Banner unleashes a far more powerful Hulk, and Ruffalo's January denial
07:56would make a strange kind of sense if the Hulk on screen isn't our Hulk anymore.
08:01But right now, the only thing Marvel has actually shown is Banner himself and Doom's interest
08:08in him.
08:08Be honest, is Maestro a smart read, or is this a stretch?
08:13Tell me in the comments.
08:14Whatever the truth is, Marvel will have to show some of it soon.
08:18And that's where the third trailer comes in.
08:21Let's get the record straight first.
08:23Character teasers began last December.
08:25The first full trailer arrived July 20th, just ahead of San Diego Comic Con.
08:30A special look followed at D23 in mid-August.
08:34Since then, we've seen variations.
08:36An Infinity Vision teaser on October 10th, and a promo on October 17th.
08:41But that one is just a showcase of three actors, with no new footage.
08:45The real third trailer hasn't landed.
08:48Multiple insiders say it's finished, and could drop as soon as this week, or within
08:53two weeks after that.
08:55October 19th has been floated, but the date getting the most buzz is October 22nd.
09:01Partly because Marvel Brazil posted a Loki watch challenge on X.
09:05One episode a day, ending that day.
09:07Fans read it as a coded hint.
09:09It's a pattern.
09:11Nothing more.
09:11And don't expect this to be the last one.
09:14Studios usually save the final trailer for about a week before release, which means we
09:19could still get two more looks before December 18th.
09:22What's reportedly inside this one?
09:24Almost entirely new footage, running close to three minutes.
09:29Insiders say we'll see Mr. Fantastic and the Human Torch in action.
09:33Doom either unleashing a huge blast, or staring at something in pure terror, depending on who
09:39you ask.
09:40And Doom storming through his castle, furious.
09:43There's supposedly more Thor vs Doom, more Magneto, and the answer to a question fans have
09:49asked for months, who is Cyclops firing his optic blast at?
09:54Reportedly, it's Doom himself.
09:56And reportedly, Boris and the three witches appear.
10:00If Boris shows up, that settles the cut question once and for all.
10:04The biggest moment may be a face to face between Steve Rogers and Doom.
10:09If it feels tense, that pretty much confirms this is our Steve and not some Hydra variant.
10:15Just don't expect to see him in a suit.
10:17One theory says Marvel is saving that for theaters, the way Wolverine's mask stayed hidden
10:22until Deadpool and Wolverine.
10:24The music is said to be darker than Infinity War, almost like a horror movie.
10:29And some insiders think Marvel could end on a surprise, the way Spider-Man stole the
10:34spotlight in Civil War's marketing back in 2016.
10:38The top candidates are Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, Wolverine, or Deadpool.
10:43If you've made it this far, give the video a like!
10:45There's one more piece, and it's about announcements.
10:49According to James Mack, Marvel is about to officially announce two major characters for
10:54Doomsday who haven't been confirmed yet.
10:57The obvious guess is Deadpool and Wolverine.
11:00Neither Ryan Reynolds nor Hugh Jackman has been officially confirmed, but they're rumored
11:05to fight Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man in the opening scene, and Mack has claimed Deadpool
11:10shows up in all three acts of the movie.
11:12That would be far bigger than a cameo.
11:15But there are other options.
11:17Vision Quest is streaming on Disney Plus right now, and its finale lands November 10th or 11th,
11:23depending on where you live.
11:25Leaks have already placed Vision in Doomsday, so that finale would be the perfect place to
11:30tease his return.
11:31James Spader's Ultron is back in the series, and Ultron's head was sitting on that shelf
11:36in Doom's lab at New York Comic Con.
11:38Vision and Ultron could easily be the pair.
11:41As for Thanos, Josh Brolin told Comic Book at NYCC, if it happens, it happens.
11:48Not exactly a no.
11:49Scarlet Witch is another big name.
11:52But if she really is one of Doom's witches, Marvel won't want to spoil that.
11:56And Billy and Tommy are rumored to matter far more in Secret Wars.
12:00So, we're back where we started.
12:03An artist says Boris was removed.
12:05One scooper says he's only there at the beginning and the end.
12:09Another says he's everywhere.
12:10And Marvel isn't saying a word.
12:13The clearest answer may come from a trailer that could land within days, or from theaters
12:18on December 18th.
12:20Now it's your turn.
12:21Is Doctor Strange cut, hidden, or exactly where Doom wants him?
12:25Say it in the comments.
12:26I genuinely want to know.
12:28And if you want daily MCU videos until Doomsday arrives, subscribe.
12:32And I'll see you in the next one.
12:34This video is all about his speculations and leaks which are floating all over the internet.
12:40Marvel hasn't confirmed anything like this.
12:42So if you enjoyed the video, please consider to like the video.
