Young people are being encouraged to recognise their worth, believe in their potential and build resilience despite life's challenges.

That was the message from Janelle Sebastien-Reyes and Corporal Derrick Sharbodie during an empowerment session focused on personal development, self-worth and making positive choices.

Sharla Kistow has more from a special psychosocial intervention at the Youth Transformation and Rehabilitation Centre.
