00:00In this video I will show you how to change the Steam download region. To get started what you
00:05want to do is open up the Steam app on your computer. Alternatively you can do this on a
00:10web-based version of Steam. Sort down to personal preferences but these steps are the same. So once
00:15you've done that and you're logged into your account what you want to do is click onto Steam
00:19up here in the top left hand corner and from this menu that comes up you want to click onto
00:23settings.
00:24Now once you've opened up your settings come over to the menu on the left hand side
00:28and click onto downloads and this way you can come to change your download region. So you can see the
00:34options at the top here and if we click onto the drop down box you can see a list of
00:39available
00:39download regions. Of course what I would recommend is selecting a region which is closest to yourself
00:45which is going to give you the best possible download speed for any games you're downloading
