00:00In this video, I will show you how to install Steam on Windows 11.
00:05So I'll be showing you step-by-step how to download and install Steam on your Windows 11 PC
00:10so you can start browsing, downloading and playing your favourite Steam games.

00:24Now to do this, what you need to do is open up a new internet browser,
00:27come across to Google.com and just Google search for Steam.
00:31Once you've done that, you want to click onto the top results.
00:34So that should take you to the official website, which is store.steampowered.com.
00:39From here, come up to the top right hand corner where you're going to see a install Steam button.
00:43Give that a click and that's going to take you to a screen like this.
00:47And from here, what you can do is click the blue install Steam button.
00:50So as you can see, that's going to download that onto your computer.
00:53Give it a click and then what you can do is run through these steps
00:56to set up and install Steam on your computer.
00:59So you just want to select your language, click next,
01:02choose where you want to install Steam, whether that's on your C drive or an external hard drive,
01:06click on to install.
01:07And as you can see, it's going to go through and install Steam
01:10on your Windows 11 computer or laptop.
01:12Once it's finished, you can leave the box ticked.
01:14If you want to run Steam straight away, click on to finish.
01:18And when you initially do this, it's going to update Steam as well.
01:21So you've got the most safe version of Steam.
01:23So it just takes a minute or two to run through and update.
01:26Once Steam has finished updating, what it's going to do is launch Steam and ask you to log into
01:31your account.
01:32If you don't have an account yet with Steam, of course, you can create one for absolutely
01:36free on the Steam website or alternatively on the login screen.
01:40If you look down here, there is a link you can click and go through to create a free account.
01:45So all you want to do is log in with your account here.
01:47And once you've done that and you've logged into your account, there might be a quick confirmation
01:52check to do as well.
01:53But once you've done that and you've verified your account and your email, what it's going
01:57to do is just take a minute or two, and then it's going to launch Steam.
02:00So you can start using Steam to download, browse, and play games on your Windows 11 computer or laptop.
