Willard and Dibs join Guru and Lo Neal (in for Steiny) on a Wednesday edition of the Crossover. The guys talk about the 49ers' 5-0 start to the season, break down Gu's chances to beat Lo in a 40-yard dash, and react to the statement the Warriors released on Kristaps Porzingis.
Transcript
00:00Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:05Yes, it is time for the crossover brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:09Rest easy, we've got you covered.
00:12Bayalarm.com.
00:13What's up, guys?
00:15Yeah.
00:17Get open, baby.
00:18That's kind of the unofficial anthem, the beginning of the crossover.
00:23I like it.
00:23You used to didn't like it, did you?
00:25Now you've grown up.
00:25I still don't really wait for it.
00:27I don't really like it.
00:34What you learn in life when you get a little older is that the things that maybe you don't
00:39care for, if they're tolerable, then you tolerate it.
00:42You don't make a big deal out of it.
00:44Exactly, dibs.
00:45I sit in traffic every single night, and the alternative would be just don't show up to
00:50work, so you've got to do it, and you deal with it.
00:52What's upsetting you the most, because it's watermelon?
00:56Yeah, this one is strawberry watermelon.
00:58It's fake beverage, my cheese mouth, because we're cracking it, and it's like, yeah, crack
01:05that fizzy water.
01:07And it just, I mean.
01:08And again, like Guru did today, if that was a manly drink, you'd be doing this show by
01:14yourself, because I'd be fired.
01:17Oh, there you go.
01:18Not necessarily.
01:19It depends on the context of the beverage.
01:22Exactly.
01:22We were doing the summit.
01:24If Baldy was here, then we're allowed to do shots.
01:26We're doing the summit out in Pleasant Hill with me and Mark and Baldy before the summit
01:30begins, and one of the owners of the restaurant comes over with tequila shots, which is frowned
01:36upon as it's established.
01:37And so Mark and I both look at Nahigian, and Nahigian's clearly not having it.
01:42Baldy grabs one, so it's like, I got one passing to Mark, yeah, that'd be rude.
01:46Bottoms up.
01:47Bottoms up.
01:48Bottoms up.
01:49Okay.
01:50Gone.
01:50Nicki Minaj, I see you.
01:52Yes.
01:52I see you working.
01:53That's a good thing.
01:53So anyway, yeah, fizzy water, and the crossovers on the way, it's exciting.
01:57It's great.
01:58Well, and the boss might think so, Willard Dibbs, but the plane has not crashed.
02:03Okay.
02:04You should have saw the negative energy this morning.
02:06But Tony, God bless you.
02:08That's my dude.
02:09He wanted to stay.
02:11Who can read?
02:12I was, well.
02:13Don't tell him.
02:14Don't make everyone think we're reading the show, Guru.
02:17No, we're not.
02:18We're not reading the show.
02:18I have something to read from you.
02:20Go.
02:21Danny Emmerman on Twitter, at Danny Emmerman.
02:23Per Warriors, Kristaps Porzingis will remain out indefinitely due to the same health-related
02:28matter announced on September 27th, but he'll be around the team.
02:34Porzingis has been sidelined more than two weeks with a health issue.
02:38He met with Dunley V. and Rick Celebrini yesterday.
02:41Your thoughts on that?
02:42Because I saw him thinking, okay, everything's good in the hood, but being around the team,
02:47but what's that mean as far as Paulin?
02:49Nothing.
02:50Nothing.
02:51I don't, I like, I mean, we all wish the best for human beings, but if we're going to talk
02:57warrior basketball, what does it do that he's there watching them?
03:01Just like us.
03:02It doesn't do anything.
03:03And so, look, this was a calculated roll of the dice by the Warriors, and it came up
03:08snake eyes.
03:09Yeah.
03:09So you're ready to leave it there, or?
03:11Well, it's already what they were worried about.
03:13And I don't know, I don't, you know, he may play at some point this year.
03:17But, but, uh, yeah, this is, this is what you worry about when you get into bed with
03:22Kristaps Porzingis.
03:24They've always called him the unicorn, and we didn't realize it meant because he's basically
03:28make-believe.
03:29I mean, he kind of doesn't exist, but they signed him to a deal that is $19.5 million,
03:36so if he continues to be unavailable, that's a nice expiring for another team to take on.
03:41No question.
03:42I have a question for you, Dibs.
03:43If you were, when you look at this 49ers team.
03:45Oh, I've missed this so much.
03:48And there's two guys that I want to talk to you about.
03:50Okay.
03:51Who's got a better chance of getting these awards?
03:56Does the quarterback, MVP, and 54, Freddie Warner, for comeback player of the year, who's,
04:04in your opinion, going to get those?
04:06Comeback player of the year.
04:08That's a good question.
04:09What do you think?
04:10What's a question?
04:10It's a two-part question.
04:11Yes, it is.
04:11And as you remember from your time here at the station, most two-part questions don't
04:15get both parts answered, but I'm different like that.
04:18Okay.
04:18Brock Purdy currently the front runner, according to Kalshi, trade on anything, 26%, Mark was
04:24saying earlier.
04:2529, up to 29.
04:26If we wanted in on it, you're a little bit late.
04:28Okay.
04:29I don't know what the comeback player of the year odds would be, but right now, I'm going
04:33to say, it's Brock Purdy.
04:35With the uptick.
04:36Yeah, I've missed the uptick.
04:37I've missed it, too.
04:38I've kept it alive, but...
04:39I get appreciated.
04:39Keep it alive.
04:40And you're the one...
04:41You're the one...
04:42Thank you, Jesse.
04:42You created it, and you kept doing it because it annoyed Fortinbaugh so much.
04:47And that's where it got laid.
04:48Thanks, buddy.
04:49What about you?
04:50What's a you?
04:50Well, if you're interested in the odds as they currently stand, Fred Warner is...
04:55Let's see.
04:56There's one, two, three, four, five people ahead of him in the odds for...
04:59I didn't even have him in the...
05:00Oh, my love.
05:02I didn't even have him in the category.
05:03Wait, wait, wait.
05:04Why would you...
05:04Wait, wait.
05:05I just didn't...
05:05It didn't compute.
05:06Okay, but you think...
05:08I'm with what he's reading.
05:10Okay, well, what if I asked you, why are we tagging Fred with the lesser award?
05:16I don't want...
05:17VP a lot.
05:17Yeah.
05:19Where he is currently second in the odds behind Will Anderson of the Texans.
05:25I mean, could Fred be both?
05:28I think he could.
05:29Could that have been a better question?
05:30I think he could have.
05:31Had you done a little bit more homework?
05:33And really thought you went through it.
05:34Nice.
05:35Nice.
05:35You don't miss that.
05:36Oh, no, he does.
05:37I love it.
05:37In the back and forth.
05:38I got you.
05:39He misses it.
05:40Which Niners should be comeback player of the year between Fred Warner and George Kittle?
05:44Oh.
05:46Worst Kittle on that list.
05:47Right behind Fred.
05:48Wow.
05:49One slot behind him.
05:50If you look at Fred, what he's done, the punch, the peak timbre, the pinnacle punch that
05:56they was doing.
05:57I think when you think about what he's...
05:59The impact that it's had on the league to kind of make it come back alive, I think it's been
06:05phenomenal.
06:06You're watching linebackers every week now come in with the punch and the arm around the...
06:10Man.
06:11And that's because what Fred has done.
06:13I think when you think about the way he's playing and the injury that he had from ankle,
06:18I think that both are fitting for Freddy Warner.
06:21Yes, I do.
06:22No doubt.
06:23And I liked what you said earlier about other players now around the league getting the
06:26cut-ups of other teams and defensive coordinators now saying, hey, you guys need to start punching
06:32the football.
06:32You were listening to your boy.
06:33Of course.
06:34You missed me.
06:34There we go.
06:35I do.
06:35Yes, yes, yes.
06:36Some quality insights, and I also was just riveted with the way Goo was driving it, and you
06:41drove a great Goo.
06:42The ins, the outs.
06:44A couple of notes I'll share with you off the air.
06:46I got this.
06:48No, for sure.
06:49No, no, no.
06:51No, no, no.
06:52This can get you.
06:54You're like, oh, oh, oh.
06:55I knew it was backhanded from the start.
06:57It's a Roger Federer.
06:58It's a backhanded compliment.
06:59And you got to go compliment sandwich.
07:01You did great.
07:02A couple things I'd work on.
07:03You were awesome.
07:04Compliment sandwich.
07:05Oh, well, that's too funny.
07:07People only remember the meat, which was the put-down.
07:09Anyway.
07:10We had our Hall of Famer, Kurt Warner.
07:13He's in love with Brock.
07:14Yep.
07:15But they got a lot of similarities, man.
07:17On and off the...
07:18Well, he said...
07:19Well, obviously, the...
07:21Come out of nowhere.
07:22Unsung nature of it.
07:23Right.
07:25Mr. Irrelevant, grocery store clerk that Kurt Warner was.
07:30Also, run in there on a really good team when somebody else gets hurt.
07:35That's also how Kurt got his job.
07:38I'll never forget that tearful press conference from Dick Vermeule.
07:42This team will rally around.
07:43Who was that, Trent Green?
07:44Trent Green.
07:45Yeah, it's been on Trent.
07:45Trent Green.
07:46Who I later talked to about the situation at a blackjack table in Tahoe during the golf
07:52tournament.
07:52Blackjack, was he honest?
07:54Wally Pipp.
07:54Wally Pipp.
07:55Tell him the quick version of the story.
07:57I told this story a few weeks ago.
07:58It stuck with me for my whole life because I've never understood what was going on.
08:03Your boy is sitting at a $10 blackjack table with Trent Green.
08:07Okay.
08:07$10.
08:08Trent.
08:08There's an elderly woman at first base.
08:10She's over there on the right.
08:12Then Trent.
08:12Then me in the middle of the table.
08:14This is a golf tournament in Tahoe.
08:16Yeah.
08:16And so she knows that the golf tournament's going on.
08:19So she's like, are you in the golf tournament?
08:21And he's like, yeah, I am.
08:24He's being humble.
08:24She's like, all right, what do you do?
08:27And he's like, well, I'm going to play football.
08:28She goes, oh, no.
08:29Did you ever get one of those bad injuries?
08:32And I was just sitting there cracking up.
08:34And actually, he kind of was like blushing.
08:36And I leaned over.
08:38I go, ma'am, do you know who Kurt Warner is?
08:40She goes, well, sure.
08:41I do.
08:41I go, you know who that is because of one of those injuries that this man suffered.
08:46So we struck up a conversation.
08:48But the bigger part of the story was Trent Green, on a quarterback salary, was terrified to double down.
08:55$10 table.
08:56I wish I had those traits.
08:57This man would not put his money on the table.
09:00It means he's still loaded.
09:01He's sitting there playing blackjack with me.
09:05And he starts asking me.
09:06I wish I had those traits.
09:07He starts asking me, what should we do in certain situations?
09:11The guy ends up with an 11.
09:13Were you feeling good about it?
09:14The dealer's got a 6.
09:15I looked at Trent.
09:17And he looks at me.
09:17He goes, double down.
09:19I go, Trent Green.
09:22If you don't double down, I will double down for you.
09:27And he just very hesitant.
09:31He pushed that other 10 out.
09:32Are you serious?
09:33And he's like gritting his teeth.
09:35And he won.
09:36But I'm like, Trent, you're a quarterback for the Chiefs.
09:41What are we doing right now?
09:42What are we doing?
09:44He's conservative, dude.
09:44Put $20 on the table.
09:46I ain't mad at him.
09:47I'm kidding.
09:48That's how you hang on to it.
09:49That's a true story.
09:50It's just hilarious, though, because if you go and you can watch Barkley in the same tournament play,
09:54but you're behind a velvet rope and you're trying to peer in to see if it's $5,000 a hand
09:58or $7,500.
10:00Or $150,000.
10:02Who knows?
10:03$100,000.
10:03Trent's out there a dime at a time.
10:05Oh, yeah.
10:05Nursing his free training.
10:06Will was a bet shaming.
10:09Put more out there.
10:09How about Trent?
10:10You're like, come on, Trent.
10:12Get in the game.
10:13Damn it.
10:13Play two hands, Trent.
10:15Let's go.
10:15Wow.
10:16Yeah.
10:16Trent Green, can you settle something for us?
10:18I hope so.
10:20Because we're family here.
10:22You're my brother.
10:22Dennis is my brother.
10:24And, Lo, you're my brother.
10:25But we got into this, and it happened a couple years back.
10:28Now, listen.
10:29You know about where I'm at, 56, arm, whatnot, but the legs still work.
10:35So, I'm playing Rockland Sunday Night Basketball.
10:38I was.
10:38Just the season got over.
10:40I think I could beat Lo in a race 40 yards.
10:44I'm looking at him.
10:45I'm taller.
10:46I'm longer than him.
10:48Do you just scoff and laugh at that notion, or are you like, goo, you're tripping?
10:52Because I'll just say this before you answer.
10:54Lo, you played in the NFL, but you didn't retire just a year or two ago.
10:58So, that's why I feel like I could get you out to jump.
11:01I got Matt Lively on the phone.
11:03You guys know Matt Lively?
11:04We do.
11:05That ain't me.
11:06I love you, man.
11:0728 at the time.
11:09Spring chicken.
11:10Spring chicken.
11:11And he thought he could get me in the 40.
11:14Yep.
11:14Talking a lot of junk.
11:15Yep.
11:16And the part that he doesn't realize is the part that I'm good at is my start.
11:22I'm not.
11:22You know, if you told me he'd run a 200, I wouldn't even bet him.
11:26Burst.
11:26Burst.
11:26You're an NFL player.
11:28That's a while.
11:30You couldn't beat me in the 10 yards, 20 yards, 30, 40.
11:33That's where you're not going to have a chance.
11:34That's the part that you, that's.
11:36I'm willing to lose money.
11:38I don't believe that.
11:39If you said a 100-yard dash, you know what?
11:40I wouldn't even bet you.
11:42Right.
11:42I would not bet you a 100-yard dash.
11:44Because I don't know.
11:45I just don't know.
11:46You're going to come unglued.
11:47Pull up lame.
11:48Pull up lame.
11:49But 20, 30, 10.
11:51I can still run, and I'm alone.
11:53You've got a better chance of scratching a lion's ass.
11:56I'm going to fumble.
11:59He's getting 40 yards.
12:03He's getting 40 yards.
12:06Who loves you low daddy?
12:08I'll say this.
12:10He's choking on that.
12:11I know.
12:12How are you going to even make it 40 yards?
12:13And we all remember Chaminade when they beat Virginia in a Christmas tournament in Hawaii.
12:19Oh, Ralphie Samson.
12:20Oh, Ralph Samson.
12:21So things can happen.
12:22You can Chaminade him, and you could win the 40.
12:26But this man was leading the league in rushing his rookie year.
12:29Oh, boy.
12:30So, Willard, does that matter today?
12:33It broke.
12:34Like, does that matter today?
12:36Can I answer all this in a different way?
12:38I hate when people answer a question with a question.
12:41Why does this matter to you so much?
12:44This comes up every year at this station.
12:47And I want to know why.
12:48It started during COVID.
12:50Why are you tucking your self-worth into whether or not you can outrun an NFL running back?
12:55Because you can't.
12:56There's never been a moment in my life where I've even ever considered the idea.
13:02I mean, I used to be a decent athlete.
13:05Played high school sports.
13:06I'm better than most of my friends.
13:09Outrunning an NFL running back?
13:12But you're not.
13:13Can I answer Will?
13:15Can I answer Will?
13:15I can see if you were in his 30s or 20s.
13:17I'd be like, hey, I wouldn't just be, oh, I can beat you.
13:20Can I answer Will?
13:21Yes, sir.
13:22He wasn't a track star.
13:24He was an NFL running back.
13:25He's an NFL running back.
13:28But he wasn't Jesse Owens.
13:30Okay?
13:30And he's in his 50s.
13:32And if we're at a club or a venue and stuff pops off, Will, people just take off and run.
13:37Whatever your background is.
13:39And dibs, I'm long.
13:40And I'll cut through the wind.
13:43And I think I can get you on that start.
13:45I feel like you guys should just do this.
13:47We're going to have a Friday.
13:49So that we could, you know what I mean?
13:51Like, so that we could.
13:52Just so that you understand.
13:53So that you understand.
13:55So you ain't bad no feed.
13:56The greatness of professional athletes.
13:58Goal, you couldn't beat Trent Williams in a race.
14:00Couldn't.
14:00Not even close.
14:01You can't.
14:01It's different.
14:02Not even close.
14:04I know what you're thinking.
14:04You're like, oh, you can run.
14:06And you're a good athlete.
14:07I've seen it.
14:08You're a good athlete.
14:09I know you just.
14:10I got to.
14:10I know you want validation sensation.
14:13Sorry to interrupt, Lowell.
14:13Go ahead.
14:14Dibs, what do you got coming up on the show today?
14:16Oh, how is that?
14:18We've got something coming on there.
14:22Actually, we might have a little bit of this.
14:24A statement has actually two statements have just been released by the Golden State Warriors.
14:29Willard, before you do that, can I read the legal?
14:31Of course you can.
14:31You're listening to 95.7 The Game.
14:34KGMZ FM and HD1.
14:36I got bumping from the Greenwood.
14:37And Odyssey Sports Station in the home of the Golden State Warriors and Valkyries.
14:41Always live on the Odyssey app.
14:43Coming to you live from the Laughin' Mug Studios.
14:44Laughin' Mug righteously brewed in San Francisco.
14:48So well done.
14:48So well done.
14:49You might be able to do that better than Laugh.
14:51But you're not bringing them in.
14:52I got it.
14:54Chris Stapps Porzingis has released a statement also on social media.
14:57Want to read this to everybody.
14:59Hello, people.
15:00I'm working with doctors and experts to figure out how to be fully back to good health ASAP.
15:06Honestly, I'm getting better and better.
15:09I just have to stay patient.
15:10And I believe I'll be feeling great again soon.
15:13It has definitely been frustrating dealing with some health stuff that you can't exactly pinpoint.
15:19On top of injuries throughout my career.
15:22So it has added up for sure.
15:24But we will get through it.
15:26Bicep emoji.
15:27Health is wealth.
15:28Thank you for all the support.
15:31Prayer emoji.
15:33And then he follows it up with, I appreciate all the internet doctors trying to diagnose and help.
15:40But I'm in the best hands.
15:43So everyone can relax now.
15:45And I don't have HIV or AIDS.
15:48Ooh, man.
15:49I hate that he had to stop Porzingis.
15:51Wow.
15:51Yep.
15:52Well, I'll go first.
15:53I just don't like the fact that it's still unknown.
15:57Love that he's battling.
15:58And I hate that he's read some stuff that's come across, obviously, as timeline to where he had to add
16:02the last two parts.
16:03But just, you know, not being a jerk, just from a basketball, that unknown is still out there.
16:10Yeah.
16:10And the unknown is going to be the reality for however long he's a warrior or an NBA player, wherever
16:16he's going to play.
16:17Because if he has something that is somewhat permanent, then there's really no getting beyond it.
16:23It's just managing it.
16:24And maybe there's stretches where you feel well enough to play and other times that you don't.
16:29Statement from the Warriors, if you guys want.
16:31Warriors forward center, Chris Stapps Porzingis, who missed training camp and the team's first five preseason games due to a
16:37health-related matter,
16:38returned to the Warriors practice facility yesterday and met with Warriors GM Mike Dunleavy and vice president of player health
16:44and performance, Dr. Rick Celebrini.
16:45The specific contents of that meeting will remain private.
16:50Porzingis will remain out indefinitely due to the same health-related matter, but will be around the team.
16:55An update on his status, including the potential resumption of practice, playing status, or timeline will be provided when available
17:04and appropriate.
17:05Wow.
17:06When you hear things like that, it's got to be much bigger than the game.
17:10And you can't think, okay, is this guy coming back, or what is he doing?
17:13You're just like, thoughts and prayers.
17:16You know that it's something serious.
17:18And you just, basketball, football, all these things are just a game.
17:23And we get that we're blessed enough to be able to talk about it and give our two cents.
17:27But when you have issues, it's, you know, health issues, and it doesn't deal with maybe pertaining to us.
17:33And sometimes you just got to let it go and just hope the best and hope that this team can
17:37either release him, get him paid,
17:39and bring someone in that can help the team win.
17:41That's how you got to look at it.
17:42And he's a grown man playing a kid's game, making a king's ransom.
17:46Amen.
17:47At the end of it, when I see, bro, when I see that mug, when I see that mug, it
17:54all comes flooding back.
17:56I mean, all of the isms, I almost put together, and maybe I'll do this for tomorrow.
18:01You're in tomorrow, right?
18:02I'm in tomorrow.
18:03Emergency Bing Lowe edition.
18:05I think so.
18:06Lowe's back.
18:06We'll have to do a Bing Lowe.
18:07I used to do a daily grid, Willard, where nine spaces on a bingo board, and on there would be
18:14some of Lowe's isms.
18:16Like, same church, same pew.
18:20Herocious.
18:20I couldn't agree with you more.
18:22I couldn't agree with you more.
18:23You know, all the, sure.
18:24Sure.
18:25Coach.
18:25Buddy.
18:26Buddy.
18:27So I may have to put one together for tomorrow so the listeners can play along with all the Lowe's
18:31isms.
18:33I love it.
18:34Sometimes when Lowe's in, I know what it feels like when you're dating somebody and then you run into their
18:40ex.
18:41And that chemistry, that vibe that they have, just all of a sudden makes you, like, so uncomfortable and self
18:50-conscious.
18:51I'm like, man, what the hell are you doing?
18:53Do you guys want me to leave?
18:55Like, are y'all okay over there?
18:57They still love each other.
18:59I know.
19:00I'm all in love.
19:01I know you were right.
19:04Oh, there he goes.
19:05He spins his mind.
19:07I'm so, I'm just so happy right now.
19:09I know what they do.
19:10Instead of you guys having a 40-yard dash square off on the way in, I was thinking, what would
19:16be better would be is if they did an Obama off.
19:18Because you both fancy that you have an Obama impersonation.
19:22No, you don't have an Obama.
19:23I'm not trying to put you guys on the spot, but that to me is more entertaining than watching two
19:27old guys huff and puff over 40 yards.
19:30I don't know.
19:31I'm not sure about that.
19:32Anyhow, just hit me earlier, bud.
19:36On behalf of Michelle and the girl and 95-7 the game, you know, Stoney will be back.
19:46This is your 44th president.
19:50And I just want to say I think the 49ers have a good chance to win it all.
19:57That's good.
19:59That was good.
20:00I'm sick.
20:01I don't even know if I can compete with that.
20:03That was just too good.
20:04That was just too good.
20:05That was terrible.
20:06Yeah.
20:07Give us some love.
20:07I used to have the, but I don't even know it anymore.
20:10That's right.
20:11It's like, uh, well.
20:16Well, that's all, folks.
20:18That's it.
20:19How you had it?
20:20We have to go on.
20:21You have it.
20:23It's good.
20:23Yeah, you have it.
20:24Because you can't do Obama.
20:26It can't be on the spot because if you do it like that, it's just like, well, the pause is
20:32too long.
20:33No, because you don't know when.
20:34Yeah.
20:34You put the bomb in Obama right there.
20:37You put the bomb on me.
20:39Well, you didn't answer about KP.
20:42What were your thoughts?
20:43No, that was heavy.
20:45Yeah, it's, it's going to be, I don't know if it's buyer's remorse, but like, I don't necessarily, I'm not
20:52going to come down a team's road every time this stuff happens.
20:55You make bets and sometimes they don't turn out.
20:58And the Warriors thought that it was a better bet to try to play with a better player and hope
21:04that this didn't happen and this already happened.
21:07You know, is it better that it happens at the beginning of the year?
21:10I guess.
21:12But the unknown component to what he's battling or facing, man.
21:16It was kind of my larger take and I hate to do this preseason, but right now this Warriors season
21:23is not shaping up to be about this year.
21:26Man, like that's, you know, Steph Curry has an extension.
21:29Jimmy Butler's hurt.
21:30Chris Tapps is sick.
21:31Moses Moody is hurt.
21:34And Yaxo's a baby.
21:36So when does the ticket sales stop?
21:38When does, when's the show stop for his stuff?
21:41Well, you got a guy of that magnitude.
21:42You know, his fear of influence and the gravitas he brings to the game.
21:47But when does it stop influencing the butts from cutting into seats?
21:51I don't think now.
21:52He's still a show to me.
21:55It'll be interesting.
21:56I say it'll be interesting.
21:57And I'm not saying, and it's not to disrespect the Steph by no stretch.
22:02Right.
22:02But you get it, Dibs.
22:03I do.
22:04I think as long as he's in uniform wearing number 30, the ticket sales will be there.
22:08Because even if he can't go out there and play 34 minutes and get you 35 points, you've got the
22:13pregame routine.
22:15You've got his little before the tip run to the stanchion.
22:18And there's so many side ancillary things about him that even if he's losing a step, you still want to
22:23go out and see it.
22:24Yeah.
22:24But what if he's not playing?
22:27Right.
22:28Which is a piece of it.
22:29I know, you know, there were people on the scene in Vegas last night that didn't think he was moving
22:34very well.
22:35Oh, I didn't hear that.
22:36I watched the whole game.
22:37If we're already having that conversation.
22:39And look, I was in the building last Saturday, and they're not running from it.
22:44Like, Steph doesn't feel and probably never will again feel 100%.
22:50Never.
22:51He's got to work through it.
22:52It doesn't mean he's not going to play.
22:53But the realities of his age and his life are here.
22:57And so, you know, to your question, Lo, like, I don't know if it's so much butts in seats, but
23:04it's probably prices of seats.
23:06Right.
23:07And the sound of the seats.
23:09Like, all those Niners went to that Valkyries game last week, and they're like, so that's louder than Warrior games.
23:15Will, I'm just blown away real quick.
23:17I hadn't heard.
23:17He wasn't moving.
23:19I hadn't heard him.
23:19I didn't.
23:20I mean, no, I was going back and forth.
23:21He wasn't on the bench at the end.
23:22Not that that had anything to do with it, but I'm thinking, Diaz, he's as fresh as, you know, a
23:28loaf of Wonder Bread.
23:30I don't think that's going to happen anymore.
23:32Doesn't mean he won't play, but, yeah.
23:35You say it unless you have it, it kind of never.
23:38Depending on how bad he has it, the runner's knee, tendonitis, and, you know, you get some of the itises,
23:44they tend to stick around.
23:45So even though he is fresh, he's also, you know, four months away, five months away from being 39.
23:50And if you think about how many miles he's run just in games, forget practices and all the other stuff,
23:57but that man is always running.
23:59So you could look at the next-gen stats and go back and extrapolate.
24:05He's probably run thousands of miles.
24:07Thousands.
24:07And that's why I think that they're selling.
24:09People should not be buying, but they should be selling the 76ers because guru's all over them because LeBron.
24:15Sell them.
24:15LeBron's done.
24:17I mean, this guy could play maybe 15 minutes.
24:19That's, he's not going to, he's going to slow the team down.
24:21How much is going to hurt that team?
24:22Guru thinks that they're winning this all.
24:24I'm just not in the same church, not on the same period they do this.
24:27And no one's sitting on anyone's lap?
24:29No.
24:30Not at all.
24:30Okay.
24:31Yeah.
24:31Mike on usually works better than Mike off.
24:33And I also had the Giants winning 90 days.
24:35You sure did.
24:36Yeah.
24:36I told Low, I confess.
24:37I don't think LeBron's done, but I don't think.
24:39Yeah, hell no.
24:40No, no, no, but I don't think the Sixers are winning the NBA championship.
24:44I don't even think they're winning the East.
24:46There's a bed in there somewhere.
24:47There sure is.
24:48I have a bunch of bets for you if you want to take them.
24:51Since Stiney's not here, I figured I could play his role.
24:53Look at you.
24:54The Rams aren't winning the next five in a row.
24:56Oh, that was it.
24:57Let's do it.
24:58Dibs wouldn't do it yesterday.
25:01There's an implied probability that would lead me to want to get some juice back,
25:05some odds on the back way.
25:07And he balked, and so I said, okay.
25:08I get that, but it always makes me laugh when people squawk about something's about to happen.
25:13And then they want odds.
25:15Well, then don't squawk that it's going to happen if you want odds.
25:17Man, I look at that schedule, Lo.
25:19They got some, you would think, layups.
25:21But, man.
25:22Five-game win streak in the NFL, Lo.
25:24How hard is that?
25:24It's tough.
25:25No matter who you're playing.
25:26Before we get out of here, we played Big Vey.
25:29I told him how disappointed I was.
25:30Can you give him your Big Vey before we get out of here?
25:32I don't like to be put on the spot like this, but I'll tell you what.
25:34It's a little bit rough right now.
25:36Two and three.
25:36I think I blew the Australia thing, and that kicker had to go.
25:39I couldn't sit around and watch him miss another kick.
25:41And my third and five call probably was a little rough, kind of like my voice.
25:44But you know what?
25:44We're going to right the ship, and I think we're going to win five in a row.
25:47And then you'll be saying, the Rams are back, huh, Sean?
25:49Lo is that.
25:50That's pretty damn good.
25:51He's good.
25:52Will, you laugh at it more every time.
25:54That's good.
25:55I feel bad because Obama used to be way better than this.
25:57Yeah.
25:58Yeah, he lost it.
25:59I thought you nailed it with the one word.
26:02You nailed it.
26:03It sounded good.
26:04You nailed it.
26:05All right.
26:05Thank you very much.
26:06Well, it is next on 95.7 The Game.
