00:00When Jezebel was hunting down the prophets of the Lord, I hid a hundred of them, fifty to a cave,
00:06and fed them with bread and water.
00:08And now you send me to my end?
00:11I know what you did, Obedien. God knows it too.
00:14The hundred you hid are alive because of it.
00:17But now hear me. As surely as the Lord of Hosts lives before whom I stand, today I will show
00:24myself to Ahab.
00:25I will not vanish. Go!
00:30Obadiah went. The spring was a spring, no longer. Only stone and cracked mud.
00:37The horses nosed the ground and found nothing.
00:41Ahab crumbled a dry clod when he heard the hoofbeats.
00:46Obadiah dismounted before his horse had even come to a stop.
00:51Did you find grazing?
00:54I found something else, my lord.
01:01Elijah.
01:03Where?
01:06On the south road. Half a day from here.
01:10He said he would stand before the king. Today.
01:14Three years.
01:17Three years I sent men into every kingdom.
01:20I made kings swear he was not in their lands.
01:24And now he sends for me.
01:27As if he was the king.
01:31It could be a trap, my lord.
01:34He is alone.
01:35Sitting on a stone.
01:37Waiting.
01:47Saddle the horses.
01:51Ahab arrived on horseback with his guard behind him.
01:56Three years of hatred were etched on his face.
02:00Three years of staring at a white sky and hearing the queen ask where the man was.
02:09Elijah had not moved from the rock.
02:11The wind swept dust across the road and he let it strike his face without closing his eyes.
02:19First came the sound.
02:21Hooves.
02:22Many of them.
02:23Muffled by the soft earth.
02:25Then the cloud of dust on the horizon.
02:28Growing.
02:29Then the spears.
02:31Ten paces from the prophet.
02:33He pulled the reins and dismounted.
02:39Is it you?
02:41Is it you?
02:43The troubler of Israel?
02:47I have not troubled Israel.
02:51But you have.
02:54You and your father's house.
02:56You and your father are doublots.
