00:00It's day 10 of continuous protests on the streets of the National Capital against the CEC Gyanesh Kumar, asking for
00:09his removal.
00:10Today, as we speak, we are getting pictures, ones which are inside the courtroom right over there,
00:16as Rahul Gandhi's legal team has filed a plea in Supreme Court on his behalf.
00:21And while that happens inside the Supreme Court, what's happening outside is a very different visual.
00:28If you look at those visuals as well, you will see that right inside those paperwork being done by the
00:35team,
00:35we are told there are about eight petitioners which goes across party lines.
00:39We do not have the names and the exact names of the petitioners just yet.
00:43But Rahul Gandhi, along with several others, now has reached the Supreme Court,
00:49has filed a petition asking for the removal of the CEC.
00:54Now, while those visuals continue to come to us from inside the Supreme Court,
00:59what's happening outside on the streets is a very different story.
01:01You've got workers of Congress Party and opposition leaders in thousands of numbers marching their way to the Supreme Court.
01:10You've got unity as well within the opposition.
01:14You've got the Samajwadi Party. You see those trucks full of leaders over there.
01:19You've got at least three CMs that we counted.
01:22You've got the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh over there.
01:25You've got the Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. Revant Reddy.
01:29You've also got Akhilesh Yadav there.
01:32And we've got several other Congress Party CMs as well.
01:37Now, what exactly is happening?
01:39The march has been called by an all-opposition party and they want to march all the way to the
01:45Supreme Court
01:46in a show of strength to file that petition against Gyanesh Kumar.
01:49So, while you look at those visuals, get that view.
01:53Inside the legal processes taking place, outside the streets of the national capitals,
01:57continue to be blocked, continue to see protests for the 10th day running.
02:02Remember, it all started on the 2nd of October and today, on the very 10th day, we are seeing this
02:08happen.
02:08But there is something different about this protest today.
02:10Unlike what we saw over the past weekend, at least, where protests were not allowed,
02:16where every person who managed, you know, it could be the Kokoro Chanta Party,
02:20it could be other leaders, it could be other, you know, organizations who came on the roads,
02:26they were picked up, you know, instantly by the police and taken under detention.
02:30Today, we see no such attempt being done, which is an interesting thing.
02:34But let me cut across now, live, to our reporters who have been tracking all the details here for us.
02:40Let me cut across to my colleague, Maria Shaquille.
02:43Now, Maria, it all started at the Constitutional Club.
02:45They managed to hop onto a bus.
02:47Let us hug!анс
