Opposition MPs from the INDIA bloc, including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, boarded buses from Connaught Place to march towards Rajghat in New Delhi. The demonstration marks the third consecutive day of protests by the opposition against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Claiming the participation of nearly 300 parliamentarians from both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, the opposition convoy crossed Minto Bridge towards Rajghat under police monitoring. Security has been substantially tightened along the route and around Rajghat, with extensive barricading and traffic diversions placed by the Delhi Police. Heavy police deployment was reported outside and inside the monument premises as Congress and opposition party workers gathered to receive the parliamentarians.

04:57workers who are also marching along with
05:00the bus towards Rajghat now Jantar Mantar was
05:04approximately 500 meters from the venue
05:07yesterday but today Rajghat is a little
05:11far away from Moets Rajghat is around four
05:15kilometers and this march will continue for
05:17four kilometers we spoke with the Youth
05:20Congress Chief Fudeb Aluchib also who told us that
05:24the march will continue till Rajghat where
05:26they will be where they will be paying tribute to
05:30Mahatma Gandhi and they will be staging
05:32protest against the Chief Election Commissioner
05:36Gyanesh Kumar
05:38they do stay on with us if I'm not mistaken our
05:42colleague Amit is also continues to stay with us
05:44Amit if you can hear me I think you're right at the
05:46thick of the action take us through what's happening
05:47around you
05:53yes we are at that Minto bridge cut and these
05:57buses one bus has already moved towards Minto
06:00bridge there are two others which are taking the
06:02Minto bridge cut and this is a you know
06:05junction which is usually very heavy traffic
06:08movement this particular junction has very
06:11heavy traffic movement the reason being it
06:13connects you to the ITO junction it connects you to
06:16the you know a real in New Delhi railway station
06:20but we are getting you these visuals from ground
06:23zero the first bus around which you will see NSUI
06:28flags and youth congress flags that is the bus
06:31which has Rahul Gandhi the leader of opposition in
06:34Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is in that bus and
06:37followed by these two buses that you are seeing
06:39has the MPs from India block parties yesterday they
06:43had stepped out of Sagar Ratna restaurant hoping to
06:48register their protest intending to go towards
06:50Jantar Mantar that did not happen but today Rahul
06:54Gandhi and Mr Malikarjan Karge said that they will be
06:57heading towards Rajghat because Delhi police cannot
07:00stop the MPs movement to Rajghat hence these buses have
07:03been given a clear passage I can see the first bus is now
07:07heading towards Minto bridge the second one has also
07:10taken the Minto bridge cut and one very important thing is
07:13that they will be crossing the BJP's office as well
07:18your path will also be taking you to through the BJP office
07:21today
07:25what is there there every party every political party has office
07:29in this country why nobody can pass through in front of
07:33will that be also a way to put across your message to the
07:37BJP about your process no we have we are putting across a
07:40message to the country to the ruling dispensation BJP to
07:44Prime Minister Narendra Modi to to Home Minister
07:47Amit Shah that we are not scared Rahul Gandhi cannot be
07:51stopped we will continue is the biggest message and until and
07:54unless we are repeatedly saying until and unless Gyanesh Kumar
07:58resigns we will continue this and midway we may pass BJP office we
08:04may not pass BJP office all that is not about your
08:07continue
08:15already have energies of course
08:18that's my that was of course Amit getting us a conversation with
08:22Congress MP JB Matthews getting us the latest details about how the
08:26Congress party is insistent that they have every right to protest every
08:31right to expose what's happening with within the election commission
08:34Amit is still with us Amit if you can hear me continue with your report please
08:46all right we're getting some network connections network issues are trying to
08:51get across to Amit Bhardwaj I'll also check whether our colleague Anjali Pandey
08:55who is also getting us updates from the ground is with us as we speak
08:59but this is how things stand viewers they are now on their way
09:04by day I mean opposition MPs from both houses of parliament
09:08totalling almost up to 300 according to the claims made by Rahul Gandhi
09:12they are on their way to Raj Ghat now this is of course the third day
09:16Congress party along with Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi especially led by Rahul
09:20Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are protesting against the CEC and the government on day one
09:26we saw them have a dharna at Akashwani Bhavan around the corner from
09:31Nirvachan Bhavan which was the headquarters of the CEC on day two
09:35they tried to march towards Janthar Mantar and on day three they're right now moving towards
09:40Raj Ghat while they are moving towards Raj Ghat India today's team is already at
09:44Raj Ghat and I'm being joined by Shivani who's there at the ground Shivani take us to the
09:48security arrangements there because I'm sure the Delhi police are anticipating this massive
09:52crowd to reach them in the next few minutes
09:57see all the roads that lead towards Raj Ghat the entry points have already been barricaded if
10:03we can try and show you how this whole road has been barricaded though we can see some Congress
10:08workers they are moving towards this by foot and the vehicles are not allowed here
10:14on the other side there are already people who have gathered here and there are announcements that
10:20are being made there are posters that have been put you can see the placards we'll try and show you
10:25the pictures from this place where the deployments are also heavy not only outside but inside also we
10:32can see a lot of policemen out here at Raj Ghat there was a call for this protest since early
10:39morning by the
10:39Delhi Congress but now it's clear that Rahul Gandhi Malika Arjun Kargay and others are also joining
10:46the intent to rather join this protest at Raj Ghat you can see these Congress workers they're already
10:53here more numbers are arriving and as we see that the commotion is on as Rahul Gandhi Priyanka Gandhi and
11:00all the other MPs have already started from cannot place they have already crossed the Minto bridge out
11:06there you see they are the Congress workers are waiting for their arrival out here at Raj Ghat so
11:15you can see there is a gathering of Congress workers here and at the same time we also see the
11:20deployments
11:21the regulatory traffic barricade arrangements that have been made by the police and we while we were
11:28coming here we saw a number of roads that lead towards Raj Ghat have been diverted there are barricades
11:34so the traffic movement to to Raj Ghat from central Delhi is not very smooth so we have to wait
11:42and watch
11:42that in what time will Rahul Gandhi Malika Arjun Kargay be able to reach here or will they be stopped
11:50midway from where they have started act that till a few minutes ago we didn't have official confirmation
11:56that the India block MPs were going towards Raj Ghat I am not sure about how in terms of security
12:00whether
12:01that area is was prepared to handle the sea of humanity which is heading the way it takes four
12:06kilometer it take it's four kilometers from Raj Ghat to Raj Ghat God knows how many hours it will take
12:11but
