00:00Live images from outside the Akashwani Bhawan in the national capital on your television screen.
00:06You're looking at leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi.
00:10He's physically now being lifted to be removed from the Akashwani Bhawan.
00:16The same is being done with other Congress leaders and workers.
00:19They refuse to move.
00:21They've been sitting here for the past nine hours and counting,
00:25demanding that they get access to the chief election commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar,
00:31where they want to accuse him of vote chori in person.
00:37Rahul Gandhi insists democracy is dead.
00:40The vote is dead.
00:42Right now, the image is on your television screen.
00:45And as I quickly bring in my colleague Sreya Fomo on this,
00:50Congress leaders, including leader of opposition, Rahul Gandhi being physically evicted
00:55from the Akashwani Bhawan.
00:58Was 8 o'clock the deadline given to move them?
01:01Because Rahul Gandhi says, just tell me where to move.
01:04I will move wherever you want me to sit and protest.
01:06But my protest will continue, Sreya.
01:13Well, yes, that was the plan for Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
01:17But clearly, the Delhi police has finally acted.
01:20You can see the visuals.
01:22I can show you Priyanka Gandhi.
01:23She's just standing with the bus.
01:26There are women police personnel who have detained her.
01:29They're requesting her to go inside the bus.
01:31We can see B.V. Srinivas.
01:33We can see Pawan Kera.
01:34All of them being detained right now.
01:36The messaging that Rahul Gandhi gave to DCP Sachin Sharma, who's still here inside,
01:42was that they want to meet the chief election commissioner.
01:45But clearly, there was no request that was sent in from the Congress' side.
01:49So nothing of that sort transpired.
01:51The Delhi police waited it out.
01:53But you can see those visuals, clear visuals of Priyanka Gandhi standing with women police
01:58personnel.
01:59And these are the visuals we are getting to you live from inside Akashwani Bhawan.
02:04That is the bus inside where they are being detained right now.
02:08We are seeing all the protesters being detained and removed.
02:14This is the plan of action.
02:15So two images on your television screen right now.
02:18Image number one, you see a bus which is now finally moving.
02:23A large number of Congress Party workers and leaders were detained in this bus.
02:29Priyanka Gandhi, Wadra standing outside another bus.
02:33You can see some Congress leaders and workers.
02:36I think you can see Pawan Kheda inside the bus, other Congress leaders inside the bus.
02:42The second image is Congress workers who formed a kind of human chain of sorts around Rahul
02:47Gandhi, not letting the police physically lift him, not letting the police move him.
02:52So they formed a cordon around Rahul Gandhi.
02:55They are all sitting there on a dharna inside the Akashwani Bhawan on Sansad Marg on Parliament
03:03Street in the national capital.
03:04They have been sitting there for the past nine hours and counting.
03:08Now, there were a large number of opposition leaders and members of Parliament through the
03:13day today.
03:14But towards the end, most of them left Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Wadra, Pawan Kheda,
03:21KC Vino Gopal and a number of other, Charanjit Chinni, Dipinder Huda.
03:25All of them, they remained there.
03:27They still are there and now are being removed physically.
03:31Shreya, that's an interesting point you raised that they want to meet the election commissioner,
03:36the chief election commissioner, but no request went from either Rahul Gandhi or the opposition
03:43MPs.
03:44Is that what election commission is telling you for a meeting?
03:50Well, absolutely.
03:51You know, see, the meeting had to be done as per protocol.
03:54I'll move a little because as Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are being taken out, Congress
04:00protesters outside are also trying to create a chaos and resist this detention.
04:06But that is the bus.
04:08That bus that you see is where Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and all these protesters now
04:13have been detained.
04:14Now, one thing is for sure that we know there has to be a request that has to be sent
04:20in.
04:20No request was sent in from the state of Congress is why no time was given.
04:25This is from sources inside the election commission.
04:28And as you see right now, this action is happening because Delhi police officials tried to mitigate
04:34since the time Rahul Gandhi sat down that dharna.
04:37I myself saw DCP New Delhi, Sachin Sharma try to speak with Priyanka Gandhi, try to speak
04:43with Rahul Gandhi.
04:44But they were given the instruction that without a meeting with the chief election commissioner,
04:49he wouldn't move.
04:50So Delhi police waited.
04:52And clearly this is a government building.
04:53It has its office hours operating.
04:56So clearly Delhi police wanted to wait that out and send a message that this is not something
05:01they wanted to do forcefully.
05:03But clearly, because they were not willing to move, is why they had to finally detain them.
05:07As I talk, I'll ask my cameraman to show you that bus where one by one they are now being
05:14seated.
05:15And shortly this bus will be moved.
05:17Most likely they will be taken to Parliament Street.
05:20We are yet to see the kind of action because one thing also, Gaurav, this is a government
05:26building that not just these protesters, I mean Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi ended.
05:32We also saw that shortly a gate number three was breached by youth congress protesters.
05:38So there is no likelihood there will be an F.I.R. or a case made of passing.
05:44How that proceeds, what happens, we'll have to wait for an official confirmation.
05:49But right now, Delhi police waited and now they are in action mode.
05:53All of them have been removed from the banyan tree where they were sitting for at least eight
05:57long hours.
05:58Okay, now you see Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra.
06:00Okay, Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra is also inside that bus.
06:03Just moments ago, we saw Derek O'Brien inside this bus.
06:08So now, congress leaders have been put inside this bus, no longer inside Akashwani Bhavan under
06:15that banyan tree.
06:16They've now been moved out and one by one, the buses are leaving.
06:21So they waited till eight.
06:22Eight perhaps was the deadline given to Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra and other
06:27congress leaders and now you see other congress leaders also trying to get into the bus where
06:33the top leaders are or they're being, you know, pushed in there by the police before
06:38they're taken out of this high security area.
06:42So nine hours and counting Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra, Pawan Keda, KC Vinogopal,
06:49Charanjeet Singh, Channi, Dipinder, Huda, Derek O'Brien of the Trinamool Congress, several
06:54other leaders.
06:56Now, Rahul Gandhi has been detained.
06:58Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra, they've officially been detained by the Delhi police.
07:04I quickly want to also bring in Preeti Chaudhary, my colleague who was reporting from Ground Zero
07:10through the day today.
07:11Preeti, interesting.
07:13They wanted to meet the election commissioner or did they want to create optics around meeting
07:18the election commissioner because EC sources are telling Shreya no request came in from
07:24any MP to meet the CEC today.
07:27Well, you know, Gaurav, the fact is the Congress would have us believe that the election commission
07:33knew very well that the opposition parties were coming and multiple requests had been
07:37sent earlier as well.
07:39But the EC's version is very clear.
07:41No official request has come in.
07:42Away from all of this, this is the second time, Gaurav, that now we will see detention
07:47of the Gandhis.
07:48Earlier on, earlier in the day, both Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were detained.
07:53They were squatted into buses.
07:55They both left, alighted from the buses and then squatted at Akashwani Bhawan.
08:00What's interesting, Gaurav, is why the Delhi police for so long, for over nine hours,
08:07has resisted physically evacuating and, you know, taking away Rahul Gandhi and the other
08:13Congress leaders.
08:14Possibly, because if you remember the last time around, the visuals of Rahul Gandhi being
08:19dragged, the optics of him being dragged outside Seven Lokka Lian Mark, the Congress had completely
08:25politically milked those optics.
08:27But, earlier on, what has happened in the last two hours, Gaurav, is that the Congress
08:34was sending out messages to other India Alliance parties to come and join them.
08:39TMC was sent a message.
08:41Derek O'Brien and Mahua Moitro came in and joined the protest.
08:45Samajwadi party was sent a message.
08:47Akhilash Yadar was already on his way to Lucknow, gave a, you know, a reaction, said that there
08:53is a protest going on, we support the protest, but he couldn't come in, but was ready to
08:58send emissaries from his side to join the protest.
09:01So, clearly, there was an indication that the Gandhis, the Congress and the opposition
09:06leaders are looking to pull an all-nighter.
09:08This would have only given...
09:10So, they wanted to pull an all-nighter.
09:12Yes.
09:12And they wanted others to join in.
09:15Preeti, I'll just come back to you to talk about whether this is becoming Bihar 2.0,
09:20where, for the Congress, this was a big issue, for the RJD, it wasn't that big an issue,
09:26and we saw election results in Bihar.
09:28We'll talk about Akhilash Yadar saying, I've already left, I can send someone, but I'll
09:33just come to that in just a moment.
09:34Shreya, once again, joins us from Ground Zero.
09:36Shreya, are both the Gandhis now in the bus, Rahul Nandi and Priyanka Gandhi, Wadra, and
09:42have those buses moved out of there?
09:45What's the police telling you, where will they be taken from here?
09:51Well, you know, we're yet to, I mean, yet to reach out to a police because, obviously,
09:55they're in action mode right now, so we'll get a clarity a little bit.
09:58In the morning, a few of the MPs were taken to the Parliament Street Police Station, others
10:02to the Horskars Police Station.
10:04So, in a short while, Gaurab, we'll get a clarity where they're being taken to.
10:07The bus where they've been detained is yet to move out from the Akash Bhani Bhaman.
10:12So, once that happens, we'll get a little bit of clarity, but clearly, there was a change
10:19in what Delhi Police wanted to do.
10:21Initially, when we were speaking to them, they were like, we will not put any force, we
10:25will not try to remove them.
10:27But something changed at 8 p.m. for sure, and this is what we see right now.
10:33So, over the day, the Delhi Police officials tried to mitigate the situation, tried to
10:38get a word from RGF, both of them, very adamant, we want to meet the Election Commissioner.
10:45Give me a moment, let's try and listen, and Priyanka Gandhi appears to be talking to journalists
10:48on ground.
10:49Let's see if we can hear something.
11:02Priyanka Gandhi, Vatra, there.
11:06Outside that bus, as Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are detained, there are other Congress
11:12leaders, and of course, we saw just moments ago, we saw Derek O'Brien, Brian of the Trinamool
11:18Congress, also, in that bus, Dipinder, Huda, seen in these images.
11:24Will they be taken to the Parliament Street Police Station?
11:27Will they be taken to Chhatrasal Stadium, as protesters often are?
11:31That remains to be seen.
11:34Is Priyanka Gandhi, Vatra, being told that there's another bus, because this bus is full,
11:40she may be moved to another bus?
11:42There are multiple buses that are there, where leaders who are being detained will be taken.
11:48All of this, of course, is discussed, even with the security detail.
11:52Remember, they're protectees, and if you notice, her security detail has also stepped out of
11:58that bus with her.
11:59I once again want to bring in Preeti Chaudhary into this conversation.
12:02Preeti, what changed around 8 is what Shreya was also hinting at.
12:08Was it this message that went out from the Congress asking other opposition parties to come and
12:13join in? Is this equally a big issue, Preeti, for the Samajwadi Party, for example, for TMC?
12:21Yes. But, you know, RJD in Bihar was rather lukewarm to Rahul Gandhi's vote-chori campaign
12:28throughout. What about the Samajwadi Party this time in UP?
12:33Well, you know, Gaurav, I'm only going to limit with the optics that beamed out today.
12:40You had the sheer fact, Akhilesh Yadav along with Rahul Gandhi walking together to join the
12:45protest. The kind of commentary that came in from Akhilesh Yadav while he was being detained.
12:52It did smack that, yes, of unity, because there might be rancor, there might be posturing, there might be
12:58political muscle flexing at a regional level between these two political parties, especially
13:03at a time of ticket sharing and seat sharing. And that's what's, you know, right now peaking
13:08regionally. But on a national level, the show of strength and show of unity, especially between the
13:14Samajwadi Party and the Congress was at display today. The sheer fact that there were more number
13:19of cadre and supporters of the Samajwadi Party than even the Congress today gave testimony to the
13:27fact that the Samajwadi Party was lock, stock and barrel in with this protest. So yes, so no
13:33differentiation there, at least for now, you don't see any cracks between the Samajwadi Party and the
13:40Congress on a national level. Regional rancor continues over, you know, mudslinging where posturing
13:47over seat sharing is concerned. But on a national level, no, no, Gaurav, nothing right now.
13:53But, you know, Congress with 99 and Samajwadi with 37, Congress is the senior partner. Anyway,
13:58all India presidents of the Congress Party and the Congress Party has been saying Rahul Gandhi is
14:03the face of the opposition at a national level, even though some in Uttar Pradesh may try to say,
14:09you know, Akhilesh Yadav, Bhavi Pradhan Mantri. But that clearly isn't the case. Akhilesh Yadav is playing
14:14the game in Uttar Pradesh and Rahul Gandhi at the national level, isn't it, Priti?
14:18Well, you know, that's 100 percent in. But what, you know, the message that Congress wanted to send
14:24across, they were not relenting. They sent a message to all India Alliance partners to actually join in.
14:31The Congress wanted the optics of possibly Rahul Gandhi being detained, being dragged and,
14:38you know, build on those optics. The Delhi police resisted to give him those optics. There was
14:45a huge amount of restraint that was shown or a different strategy that was adopted by the
14:50Delhi police this time around Gaurav. Because the last time around...
14:54Stay with me, stay with me. Rahul Gandhi is now being detained. We want to go full frame to these
14:59images for a moment from Akashwani Bhavan. Priyanka Gandhi, Vardra, she was put inside that bus,
15:05but then she came out of that bus. And this is Rahul Gandhi. You see him on your television screen
15:09right now. All cameras focused on Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi now being detained. You see Delhi police
15:23personnel around him. The man of the moment. He's led these protests for the past nine hours today and
15:34relentlessly on the issue of vote chauri. He has been raising the issue of vote chauri almost relentlessly
15:43and now says, look, ultimately, I have been proven right. Shreya, Priyanka Gandhi, Vardra boarded the bus
15:51and then de-boarded the bus. Is she waiting to travel with her brother? Apparently, there's a strategy
15:58that both of them are following right now.
16:07Again and again, so Delhi police is trying to contain the situation. Very similar images played out in the morning
16:13as well because both Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were detained in the morning and then they managed to
16:18escape that bus and enter Akashvani Bhavan. So they are somewhere down the line making it difficult for the Delhi
16:24police
16:24who is inside right now trying to contain the situation once. They are inside that bus unable to come outside.
16:31That very bus will be moving from this gate at Akashvani Bhavan. The entire area has been barricaded Gaurav
16:38because some of the Congress protesters have also managed to be around Akashvani Bhavan so that they cannot reach that
16:45bus.
16:45This area has been barricaded from where the bus will be actually moving. But clearly, Delhi police action has begun.
16:53Now, no one will be allowed to sit inside Akashvani Bhavan. One thing is for sure, but this was definitely
17:00not what
17:01they wanted through the day because Delhi police showed maximum restraint, something I myself have never seen them do
17:07while they have been managing any of these protests, a very different side of the way Delhi police reacted today.
17:14But clearly, one thing probably what they could have waited for is that these are government buildings, these are government
17:21offices.
17:21They also shut at one hour and probably that's the time they wanted to use to move Rahul Gandhi and
17:27the protesters who were sitting inside.
17:31These are images just from moments ago. Rahul Gandhi has now been detained. Rahul Gandhi has been put in that
17:43bus and that bus is moving.
17:46These are pictures from just moments ago. High drama outside Akashvani Bhavan for the past nine hours and counting.
17:57Both Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra have now been detained along with other top leaders of the opposition.
18:07And of course, the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra from TMC, Derek O'Brien was seen in these
18:14images.
18:15We were told that Achillesh Yadav promised to send some of his other MPs. He had already moved out of
18:23here.
18:24Congress MPs were here now, but they're all now moving from Akashvani Bhavan. That area is now being sanitized,
18:30cleared up to ensure that nobody remains behind inside the Akashvani Bhavan. Once that area has been cleared,
18:38they will be taken either to the Parliament Street police station or to another location, detained for some time, and
18:45then perhaps released.
18:47Rahul Gandhi insisted they wanted to march to the Nirvachan Sadhan or the Election Commission office and meet Gyanesh Kumar,
18:56the Chief Election Commissioner.
18:57However, election commission officials insisted that there was no request from the Congress party or any of the opposition parties
19:05for a meeting with the CEC.
19:07In fact, a short while back, they said that even if such a request had been made, we would have
19:16accommodated it.
19:17However, no such request was made.
19:22I quickly want to cut across to Dr. Syed Zafar Islam of the Bharatiya Janata Party joining me on this
19:28broadcast.
19:29Syed Zafar Islam, Rahul Gandhi insists democracy is dead.
19:34Responds, he's saying they're not even permitted to meet the CEC.
19:39Vote is dead. And he insists it is the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, RSS Chief and the CEC working
19:46in tandem.
19:50Well, Rahul Gandhi is behaving like an anarchist. First of all, he is spreading lies. He has never requested to
19:58EC for an appointment.
20:00EC's job is to give appointment to all the leaders, political leaders, irrespective of which party they come from.
20:05And if there have any queries that will be completely disposed of by the election commission representative, they will explain
20:15to them everything, whatever queries they have.
20:17But Rahul Gandhi didn't ask for any appointment. He insisted suddenly that they want to meet election commission.
20:24This is not the right approach. Is this the right conduct? He is spreading lies and he is actually trying
20:30to create a situation where all the policemen will be questioned because Rahul Gandhi has suddenly moved and decided to
20:46go to Akash.
20:47Give me a moment. Give me a moment. Give me a moment. We've just got these images of the altercation
20:51that was taking place just a short while back.
20:53I want to go full frame and nat up on these images to listen in to what happened when the
20:57Delhi police tried to remove Rahul Gandhi from there. Let's listen in.
21:23When he was inside that bus. They put him inside that bus. Was he trying to come out. Yes, it
21:29does appear.
21:29that Rahul Gandhi was trying to come out of the bus when he was detained.
21:45Okay, but the Delhi police, they pulled him in.
21:48As you can see in these images, as Congress workers take pictures,
21:52and this is their correct moment.
21:57The Delhi police inspector in charge of the Parliament Street police station.
22:01And these are images of Rahul Gandhi finally being escorted out of the Akashwani Bhawan on Parliament Street,
22:10escorted out of that building, put into that bus, and that bus has now been taken out of there.
22:17The Bharatiya Janta Party is accusing Rahul Gandhi of being an anarchist.
22:21I have Mohan Kumar Mangalam, National Spokesperson of the Congress Party,
22:24with me, Jainan Dehad Rai, is an advocate of the Supreme Court, joins us on this broadcast.
22:29Mohan Kumar Mangalam, Rahul Gandhi is being accused by the BJP of being an anarchist.
22:35BJP says if he had to meet the election commissioner, the CEC,
22:39he should have put in an application, he should have put in a request.
22:43No request went from the Congress Party, sir.
22:45I heard the BJP spokesperson flat out call him a liar.
22:49And let me just say that he has said on record that he asked for time and the election commissioner
22:53refused.
22:54Let's just look at the conduct of the election commissioner from the past.
22:58Well, Mr. Gandhi pointed out logical discrepancies in the voter list when he did an entire presentation on it.
23:04What was the response of the election commissioner?
23:06He said, give it to me on an affidavit, only then will I take anything that you have said seriously
23:11and respond to it.
23:12Does that sound like someone who is open to listening to the opposition?
23:16Today, almost the entire opposition was on the street and went to go meet the election commissioner.
23:20He is actually saying that nobody asked for time.
23:23I mean, this election commissioner for all practical purposes has been called the liar by the Supreme Court yesterday.
23:35What did the Supreme Court, what did the Chief Justice of India say?
23:39He said any modified Form 6 has not been approved by a sect contradiction to what the CEC said
23:47because he said that the Supreme Court had approved changes in the Form 6.
23:52So, who's being called a liar?
23:55Who's actually lying here?
23:56It's open for everyone to see.
23:59And here's my question to the BJP spokesperson.
24:01Today, BJP did four press conferences in four hours.
24:05Given that they're so close to the Chief Election Commissioner,
24:08why couldn't they ask him to do one in the last two weeks since the Indian Express expose came out?
24:14Since you directly put a question to the BJP spokesperson, let me get Syed Zafar Islam to respond to what
24:20you said, sir.
24:22So, Syed Zafar Islam, the CEC would also be seeing what's happening through the day-to-day and what's been
24:28happening throughout.
24:30Should the CEC and the two other election commissioners not have held a press conference to clarify all the points
24:37that are being raised,
24:38point one and point two, Rahul Gandhi says, all this is, you know, one, they're lying, they're stealing democracy, votes
24:50are dead.
24:51Two, BJP is holding four press conferences virtually every hour.
24:57Is that panic?
24:58Why is the BJP holding so many press conferences, sir?
25:03First of all, Gaurav, Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders are saying they're trying to save democracy.
25:12This is the democratic process.
25:13Is this the democratic process?
25:15What he is up to?
25:17They want violence all over in India.
25:20Every nook and corner, they want violence.
25:22Is this the way?
25:23I mean, you can have your meeting, you can ask for an appointment, you can meet the election commission, you
25:29can have your queries, you can have your grievances.
25:32Everything can be addressed.
25:34Once you seek an appointment, appointment will be given.
25:37As far as the press conference from the election commission is concerned, they have already replied to all the questions.
25:44In case you have any more questions, you must seek an appointment and meet the election commission and the representatives.
25:49Get all the clarity.
25:51They will explain to you.
25:52But is this the right approach?
25:53Is this the democratic process?
25:55Is this the democratic approach?
25:56They want violence everywhere and they will hold police responsible.
26:00Sir, that's a very grave charge to levels.
26:02Well, Mohan wants to respond to you because he does not agree with both the charges.
26:08One, that Rahul Gandhi is an anarchist.
26:11Or two, that Congress wants violence across the country.
26:15Respond, sir.
26:17If you sit in peaceful protest and that is being termed as violence, then what is there to say to
26:24these people?
26:24If anybody commits violence, it's the state itself through its coercive powers.
26:29It's the police who are physically picking up and throwing people left and right today.
26:34I mean, what was the harm in letting the leader of opposition sit in peaceful protest in one place?
26:40They had already taken almost all the MPs who came to the protest away in a bus to some location,
26:46unidentified location.
26:47What was the harm in letting Mr. Gandhi sit there with maybe 10, 15 other people with him?
26:53Was he committing violence?
26:54Were there any violent acts he was committing?
26:57So these are nonsensical allegations made to distract us.
26:59When you don't have the permission, how can you mark?
27:02Let me finish what I'm saying.
27:04These are nonsensical allegations made to distract us from the real problem facing us today.
27:11When Mr. Gandhi says that democracy is in peril, he's talking about what we've been looking at for the last
27:16month.
27:16Let me explain in very simple terms really quickly, Gaurav, what this is about.
27:20This is about mass deletions being affected on the voter list using Form 7 like we just saw in Karnataka,
27:27right?
27:28Why a few key BJP players who are trying to overwhelm the system in their favor.
27:33This is illegally and arbitrarily modifying Form 6, which by the way, can only be done by the Ministry of
27:40Law and Justice via...
27:44Fair enough.
27:46Give me a moment, breaking news coming in.
27:49Both Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra, not only have they been detained,
27:52but both of them are being taken to two different police stations.
27:57That's the information that is coming in.
28:00Congress leaders who've been taken into custody, members of parliament, youth congress workers,
28:05Congress party workers, those who are flanking Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra,
28:11they're all now being taken to different police stations.
28:14Delhi police sources say that that area is now being cleared, sanitized to ensure that there are no outsiders inside
28:22the Akashwani Bhawan,
28:24except those who are authorized to be there.
28:26Nobody else and that entire area is being barricaded, has effectively been barricaded to ensure that there is no repeat
28:35of this right now.
28:37But let me quickly also bring in Jainan Dehadra into this conversation.
28:42Jai, you heard Mohan Kumar Mangalam, he's speaking about Form 6, Form 6 Annexature D.
28:49Sir, isn't Form 6 Annexature D an illegal Annexature added by the Election Commission?
28:59Because this Annexature, and correct me if I'm wrong,
29:02this information about parents or grandparents, their names being in electoral rolls,
29:07could the EC have done it on their own or should this have been wetted and cleared by law ministry?
29:14Gaurav, good evening.
29:15Let me answer that straight away.
29:17Form 6, you know, the whole hullabaloo that is being made about Form 6 and amendments to it.
29:22Let me straight away tell you that this entire thing is perhaps a distraction that is being organized by certain
29:28vested forces.
29:29I'll answer straight away why.
29:30The Election Commission of India, only two points we need to keep in mind.
29:33The Election Commission of India is a constitutional authority, constitutional institution,
29:37set up in terms of Article 324 of our constitution.
29:41It is vested, Gaurav, and this is extremely critical to point out and to stress,
29:44it is vested with the onerous responsibility of carrying out elections in India.
29:49And carrying out elections also means, and this is written in exactly the way I'm saying it in the constitution,
29:55it is written that the preparation of roles is the responsibility, onerous responsibility and duty of the Election Commission of
30:01India.
30:01Now let's come straight away to the idea of the SIR and therefore whether names can be removed or deleted.
30:06The SIR answer is, Gaurav, in the representation of People's Act 1950.
30:12Very interesting point I'll tell you.
30:13Section 21, subclause 3, amended by none other than Jawaharlal Nehru in 1956.
30:20The amendment is brought in to say that there is now a duty cast upon the Election Commission of India
30:26to routinely conduct intensive revision of the electoral rolls and the section itself.
30:32This is a statutory provision brought in by the Congress party.
30:35Give me a moment. I just want to go full frame, nat up.
30:37Listen in. These are images that are coming in from inside this bus. Listen in.
30:41Look at the
31:11But the government wants to tell us that Ganesh Kumar is the father.
31:19Ganesh Kumar is the father.
31:23All right let's cut across right now to Mahua Moitra who is inside the bus.
31:27She was detained a short while ago.
31:29Ms. Moitra I believe you and the others have been detained.
31:33Where are they taking you?
31:34Have they told you anything at all?
31:37Ranati we are going, we are being taken to the Kingsway camp.
31:40There were about 15 of us inside.
31:43From Terenmoor Congress there was Derek and I.
31:46And they were from the left and from the Congress.
31:49And we lifted up, we were literally about a thousand policemen.
31:53Policemen and women came in and just manhandled us brutally.
31:57And bundled us into buses.
31:59And we are in one bus.
32:01And Derek and Priyanka Gandhi are the next bus.
32:04And no one told us where we are going.
32:07But we managed to find out that apparently they are being taken to Kingsway.
32:10Camp.
32:11Utsaf Southern and Kingsway Camp.
32:13And all we wanted.
32:14We told them we have a list of 278 MPs.
32:16We gave it to the police.
32:18All we want.
32:19Back and forth.
32:20Back and forth.
32:21The director of IV.
32:23Back and forth.
32:23Back and forth.
32:24And we said that we need a meeting with Ganesh Kumar.
32:27That's all we wanted was a meeting with Ganesh Kumar with a list of 278 MPs.
32:32The leader of the opposition.
32:34278 elected members of parliament.
32:37And they are scared to make Ganesh meet us.
32:40Yes.
32:40Ms. Moitra.
32:41Yes.
32:41Ms. Moitra.
33:09I will ask you.
33:10From the moment we entered that Akashwani intern to right now.
33:15To and through.
33:16How many people have come?
33:17How many cops have?
33:18How many police?
33:19DIH have come.
33:20Spoken to Priyanka Gandhi Ji saying okay this is death.
33:23You know they are saying we are okay to do this, this, this, this.
33:26But we want to.
33:27We.
33:27Because he is a.
33:28He is a.
33:30Why is he so scared of meeting employees?
33:32I mean what is.
33:33What.
33:34What is going on?
33:35He was scared to meet 278 MPs.
33:38All we want to do is meet the chief election commissioner.
33:41Just now the director IV was on the phone with Priyanka Gandhi.
33:45They are trying to you know patch up one against the other.
33:48Saying oh we let 10 in.
33:4915 in.
33:5010 of you can go.
33:5115 of you can go through back channels.
33:52We said nothing doing.
33:54No no no no.
33:54278 MPs have shown up for the protest.
33:56278 MPs will go.
33:58He is a constitutional authority.
33:59He is not above the constitution.
34:01And what's with Delhi police?
34:03Biting us.
34:04Catching us.
34:05I mean what's going on?
34:06I mean.
34:06Crazy.
34:07This one had 4 cops.
34:084 lady cops only.
34:09Like literally dragged and moved.
34:11And it's like you know British Raj cops.
34:13What's going on?
34:14We pay their salaries.
34:15Elected MPs representing 14, 20 lakh people.
34:18Pretty.
34:18Ms. Moitra and Ms. Shinde you are saying you were manhandled by the police?
34:22Is that what you are saying?
34:26What are you saying?
34:27Not just now.
34:27Since this morning.
34:29Since this morning.
34:30Yeti police have been all over.
34:31They didn't let us enter.
34:32They literally pushed us.
34:34And all the women.
34:35One of the women man.
34:36They didn't look.
34:36Just now.
34:37Just now.
34:38If you see my hand.
34:39I don't know if you can see it.
34:40Just now.
34:40The pictures are brutal.
34:42People of.
34:43Harshaka.
34:44Bombay MP.
34:46Priyanka Gandhi.
34:47I.
34:47There were 4 women MPs sitting on the ground.
34:51And Derek and Rao on that side.
34:53Their women came here.
34:54Circled us up.
34:56Because you know.
34:57They used force.
34:58They used force.
34:59Their shoes were all over us.
35:01Crazy.
35:02Crazy.
35:03Crazy.
35:03All they are asking is to meet the CEC.
35:06Why are you.
35:07This is.
35:07They are telling us.
35:08This is a government area.
35:09We said.
35:10What are we.
35:10We have taken out of the constitution.
35:12We are.
35:13We are.
35:14Allow me to ask you one question.
35:16Before I let you go.
35:17You are being taken to Kingsway camp.
35:19What is now.
35:20The.
35:21You know.
35:22The future course of action.
35:24For your alliance.
35:24Are you coming back to protest.
35:26Is there a plan.
35:28They can take us as many times.
35:30We will come back.
35:30We are continuing this protest.
35:33And Kyanesh Kumar resides.
35:35No matter what they do to us.
35:36We are not lending.
35:37Fighting.
35:37We are going to continue.
35:39Through your channel.
35:40We would like to tell the people of India.
35:41We are not fighting for ourselves.
35:43We are fighting for everyone.
35:44It's high time.
35:44Everyone got on the streets.
35:46It's high time.
35:46Everyone got on the streets.
35:48This is.
35:48Out of control.
35:49We are fighting for those 13 pro votes.
35:51That were deleted.
35:53We are fighting for the people.
35:57Fighting against the people who.
36:01This.
36:02This.
36:03This is..
36:07People want to vote the BJP.
36:08They will vote the BJP.
36:09There's no problem.
36:10I don't have a problem with that.
36:11What are you so scared about?
36:15Alright, Miss Moitra, thank you
36:17Miss Shinde, thank you for joining us live
36:19So you are being taken to Kingsway camp from here
36:22And as both of them pointed out
36:24They alleged that they were mishandled, manhandled
36:26By the Delhi police
36:28And the protest continues
36:30Over to the studio, back to the studio
36:33Preeti, thank you very much
36:34Very interesting what Mahua Moitra says
36:38Everyone should come out on the streets
36:40Protest on the streets
36:43Mohan Kumar Mangalam
36:45There appears to be a pattern to this
36:48You know, when Rahul Gandhi says
36:50Democracy is dead, vote is dead
36:52All of this being said, sir
36:54On a day when there has been more than 71% turnout
36:57In Nandigram
36:58Close to 70% turnout in Reginagar
37:01And all these MPs
37:03All these MPs
37:05They were elected to parliament
37:07Through the same system
37:08Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi
37:10Mahua Moitra, Mish Shinde, Praniti Shinde
37:13All of them were elected through the same system, sir
37:18All the more reason we should take it seriously
37:20When they are saying what they do
37:22When they are talking about it
37:24And they are not talking without any evidence
37:25I mean, we are stream of students now
37:28And we also have the Supreme Court in board
37:30Which, I mean, I don't think we heard Jai to his fullest
37:34But the point I was trying to make was that
37:37The Supreme Court has now summoned a response
37:39From the Election Commission
37:39On this Form 6 issue
37:41So we will hear from the Election Commission
37:43In due course on this
37:44There is enough and more reasons
37:46Why there is something to worry about
37:48As far as the impartiality of the Election Commission
37:51Is concerned
37:52And I find it
37:54You know, unbelievable
37:55That the referee
37:56Of our democracy
37:59Is choosing to be partisan
38:01And not even respond properly
38:02Respond evasively
38:03Give issues
38:04You know, respond in a manner
38:05Where he is not answering questions directly
38:07Go ahead, Jafar
38:08Yes, Sayyid Zafar
38:09Isla wants to respond
38:10And then I will bring in Jai
38:15Gaurav, I said in the beginning itself
38:18That they will make false allegations against cops
38:21First of all, it was illegal protest
38:24They have no permission
38:26And 278 MPs cannot go together
38:29To CEC to meet the Chief Election Commission
38:32Commissioner
38:33This is false propaganda
38:35And as I said earlier
38:37They will make this kind of allegation
38:38That they have been manhandled
38:39But why not?
38:39If they want to go
38:40If they want to go
38:42I just heard
38:42Zafar
38:43Zafar, Zafar
38:44278, she didn't say that
38:45She said 278 MPs
38:47Signed on a letter
38:48Asking for time
38:51No, no
38:52No, but they were
38:53They were 278 MPs
38:55Were marching towards
38:56Election Commissioner office
38:57Was that warranted?
38:59When Election Commission itself
39:01Saying that there is no request
39:02What's the right number, Zafar?
39:04If there had been a request
39:05Zafar, okay, okay
39:06You don't like
39:07You don't like
39:09What's the right number?
39:10Tell me the right number
39:11What's the right number?
39:13Okay
39:14Come on, tell me the right number
39:16You said 278 is too much
39:17Mr. Congress spokesperson
39:19Anybody
39:21Your leader of opposition
39:22Could have sought appointment
39:24With the Election Commissioner
39:25And he would have been
39:27He would along with
39:2810, 15
39:29As many numbers
39:30They would have gone
39:31They would have met
39:32The Election Commissioner
39:33Chief Election Commissioner
39:34But that was not the intent
39:36Of the Congress leader
39:37The intent was to create violence
39:39And that is why
39:39She is appealing everyone
39:41To come on the street
39:42And resort to violence
39:43And that is what
39:44I was telling in the beginning
39:45That was your approach
39:46And it is illegal
39:48Sir, there is a grave charge
39:50To level
39:51But if these charges
39:52Are being leveled
39:54Will they remain in the political realm
39:55Or will they be taken
39:57To its logical
39:58Legal conclusion
39:59Because
40:00Jay Anand, Dehadra
40:01When Congress party says
40:03Democracy is dead
40:04Elections are dead
40:05On a day
40:06When you have 71%
40:07Voter turnout
40:08In Nandi Gram
40:09And 70%
40:10In Regi Nagar
40:11But this annexure
40:13This annexure
40:13D
40:14And strictly on this point
40:15Of annexure
40:16Is this illegal
40:18By the Election Commissioner
40:21Straight away
40:22Gaurav
40:23No, it is not illegal
40:24And I was
40:25I was just trying to explain
40:26Why
40:26There is a statutory right
40:28Section 21
40:30Sub clause 3
40:31Of the representation
40:31Of People's Act
40:331950
40:33Gaurav
40:34This was an amendment
40:34Brought in by
40:35Prime Minister
40:36Jawallah Nehru's government
40:37That amendment
40:40Creates a residual power
40:41Inside the Election Commission
40:42Commission
40:43To determine
40:44How best it feels
40:46That a special intensive revision
40:48Should be done
40:48Which means
40:49That whatever procedure
40:50Or whatever protocols
40:52They require
40:52To conduct this revision
40:54They have the power
40:55And the authority
40:56To do it
40:56Now this question
40:57Did come up
40:58Before the Honorable Supreme Court
40:59At least a version
41:00Of this question
41:01Came up
41:02When the Bihar SIR issue
41:03Gaurav went to the Supreme Court
41:04In May of 2026
41:06This year
41:06And the Supreme Court
41:08Has clearly upheld
41:09The constitutionality
41:11Validity
41:11Of that provision
41:12And said yes
41:13Let me get Mohan
41:13Not only do you have
41:14The power
41:15Respond
41:16May I just respond
41:17May I just say
41:17One more thing
41:18To Mr. Kumar Mangalam
41:19Yes
41:19May I just say
41:20One more thing
41:21See I don't disagree
41:22With what Mr. Kumar Mangalam
41:23Is also saying
41:24Mohan is right
41:25See it is the opposition
41:27Party is right
41:28If they want to protest
41:29Nobody can deny that
41:30But Gaurav
41:31I have one point
41:32To make to
41:32Mr. Kumar Mangalam
41:33And I hope he appreciates
41:34What I am trying to say
41:35And this is not
41:35A partisan point
41:36That I am going to make
41:37I am simply saying this
41:39On a day
41:40When a legal issue
41:41Is subjudiced
41:42Before the Supreme Court
41:44The highest court
41:45Of the land
41:45When the matter
41:46Is subjudiced
41:47It is being heard
41:47Then these individuals
41:49Including his leader
41:50He occupies
41:51Such a high
41:51Constitutional post
41:52As the leader
41:53Of the opposition
41:54My only thought
41:55Is that you have
41:56A higher forum
41:56Where you can
41:57Raise these issues
41:58Responsibly
41:59Rather than trying
41:59To incite people
42:01To come out
42:02On the streets
42:03And basically create
42:04Chaos on the streets
42:05I mean we need to
42:06Reflect a little bit on that
42:07If chaos on the streets
42:07The aim
42:08Because Mohan Kumar Mangalam
42:10Election commission says
42:11Annexature D
42:12Is an annexure to form 6
42:14There is no change
42:15Made to form 6
42:16And under section 21-3
42:20Of the RPO 19
42:21You know
42:22Representation of people act
42:231950
42:24They are well within
42:26Their rights to do so
42:27Court will interpret that
42:28Instead of street
42:30Pronouncing the verdict
42:31It is illegal sir
42:32No no no
42:33I mean this is not only
42:34About form 6
42:34That the reason why
42:35The entire opposition
42:37Was on the street today
42:38Clearly
42:39And I agree with Jay
42:40There are many forums
42:41Unfortunately
42:41We have been shut out
42:42Of almost all forums
42:43To such an extent
42:44That the CEC
42:45Does not even give us
42:46An appointment to be heard
42:48And that's what
42:49The opposition said
42:50That's what you heard
42:51Mawa Moitra said
42:52That's what you heard
42:52Praniti Shinde say
42:53When they said
42:54That they have submitted
42:55A letter asking for time
42:56278 MPs have signed
42:58On that letter
42:58Everyone knows
42:59That they are going
43:00To march today
43:00And yet
43:01There was no response
43:02From the CEC
43:03That's one
43:04The second I want to say
43:05If the annexure
43:07And I am not going
43:08Into the legality of this
43:09I leave that to the
43:10Supreme Court
43:10That is actually going
43:11To pronounce judgment on it
43:12When they hear back
43:13From the election commission
43:14But if an annexure
43:16Is mandatory
43:16To be filled in
43:18I don't see how
43:19It is to be distinguished
43:21From the central form itself
43:23You just keep adding
43:24A annexure
43:25Effectively modifying
43:26The spirit and the letter
43:28Of the form
43:28And say oh I am just
43:30Adding in annexure
43:30So I am not really
43:31You know doing anything
43:33To the form itself
43:33But ultimately
43:35With what aim
43:36If the aim is
43:36Cleaning up the process
43:37Of electoral rolls
43:39Or as the EC
43:40Even if it is through
43:41Sources say
43:42To clean up this issue
43:43And use paperwork
43:44But I want to get
43:45Sayyid Zafar Islam also
43:47Into the conversation
43:48To respond
43:49One last second
43:50Gaurav you brought this up
43:51So I will just
43:52Respond to that remark
43:53The special intensive revision
43:56Is specifically brought in
43:57To clear up
43:57The electoral rolls
43:59Has the election commission
44:00Even once
44:02Told us
44:03How many illegal immigrants
44:04From Bangladesh
44:05Or how many
44:06No no no
44:07Let me please explain
44:09Actually been found
44:10As a result of this
44:11There are three objectives
44:12One of the main objectives
44:13They spoke about
44:14Was this
44:15Was civil verification
44:16Fair enough
44:16Sayyid Zafar Islam
44:16Response sir
44:18Sayyid Zafar Islam
44:19And then Jay
44:21Gaurav first of all
44:22Mr
44:23Gaurav first of all
44:25I am sure that
44:25Mr. Mohan knows
44:26His leader
44:27Manu Singhvi
44:28If he has not
44:29Seen his video
44:30Where he is
44:31Advocating that
44:32Election commission
44:32In the past
44:33Election commission
44:34Should verify
44:35The voters
44:36Bonafide voters
44:37If there are
44:38Bogus voters
44:38That should be removed
44:39From the electoral roll
44:40Nobody say no
44:41And when the
44:42SIR exercise
44:43Has been undertaken
44:43By the election commission
44:45The same thing
44:45Same thing is being done
44:46Then why they have
44:48Problem because
44:48All the bogus voters
44:49Were of congress party
44:50And those bogus voters
44:52You want to return
44:53Because you want to
44:54If there were
44:54Bangladeshis
44:55Should tomtom
44:56How many Bangladeshis
44:57Have been removed
44:58That's the point
44:59That Mohan Kumar
45:00Mangalam raises
45:00But let me get
45:01Okay Jay you wanted
45:02To weigh in on this
45:04Thanks Kaurav
45:04Just very two quick
45:05Points please
45:06I don't want to
45:06Join issue with
45:07Mohan
45:08He's also a patriot
45:09I mean please
45:09I mean I am not
45:10At all suggesting
45:11He's not a patriot
45:12But I just want to
45:13Correct him on one thing
45:13See his leader
45:15Is out protesting
45:16I understand that
45:17It's his right
45:17As I said
45:18At the outset
45:18I said that
45:47But this is a form
45:49Of the people of India
45:50I am sorry
45:50Some Bangladeshi immigrants
45:52Who are coming in
45:53Or people coming in
45:54From any other border
45:55State on our eastern flank
45:56They are not welcome
45:58In this country
45:58And it is absolutely
46:28How many have been removed
46:58Who have shifted since
47:28Your government in Kerala
47:30The leaders have been detained
47:31And we have been taken to
47:33Well so called
47:34Unclosed location
48:04Mr. Khera
48:05Partners
48:06For a meeting
48:08What do they want
48:09They want a wedding
48:10Kind of an invitation
48:11Or what
48:12Yesterday it was announced
48:13Publicly
48:13What Ganesh Khera
48:15Only listens to the news
48:16Which covers BJP
48:17Doesn't listen to what
48:18The opposition has to say
48:20Which is very strange
48:22I must say
48:23Very precocious
48:27Mr. Khera
48:28Are you now
48:29Wherever you are going
48:31To be taken
48:31You have been detained
48:32Does the protest continue
48:34Are you going to
48:34Come back in protest
48:35Or is it
48:37What was announced
48:37After the CWC
48:39And the India Alliance
48:40Meeting
48:40That there is going to be
48:42Now multiple protests
48:43On a daily basis
48:45Has today's protest
48:46Ended sir
48:48Every day
48:51You are saying
48:52If the protest
48:53Will continue
48:53Every day
48:54Mr. Khera
48:55Absolutely
48:57Ganesh Gupta
48:57Has to go
48:59Mr. Khera
49:00Why do you think
49:01Today
49:01The Delhi police
49:02Showed a fair amount
49:03Of restraint
49:04Not so much
49:05Like what had happened
49:06In front of
49:06Seven Lok Kalyan Mag
49:07When Rahul Gandhi
49:08Had protested there
49:09Where they immediately
49:10Had physically evicted him
49:12Why wait nine hours
49:13To detain you
49:14In the manner
49:15In which the Delhi police
49:16Did today
49:18They kept telling us
49:19That yes
49:19They will
49:21Ensure that
49:21Ganesh meets us
49:22But it never happened
49:24And then suddenly
49:25They proved upon us
49:27Mr. Khera
49:27Are you saying
49:28It was conveyed to you
49:29By the Delhi police
49:30That the election commission
49:32Was going to meet you
49:34And the CEC
49:34Would meet you
49:35They kept telling us
49:36That yes
49:36We should
49:37We will be able
49:38To meet him tomorrow
49:39Or sometime
49:39Something
49:40But it never happened
49:40No assurance
49:42Nothing happened
49:43We were just
49:44You know
49:45On the phone line
49:46So we were ready
49:46To spend the night
49:48At Akashwani Bhavan
49:49You were ready
49:50To spend the night
49:50At Akashwani Bhavan
49:51We just spoke
49:52To Praniti Shinde
49:54Well we got
49:54All our mattresses there
49:55We organized
49:56Our dinner there
49:58We just spoke
49:59To Praniti Shinde
50:00And Mahua Moitra
50:00They allege
50:01And claim
50:01That they were
50:02Manhandled
50:03By the Delhi police
50:04Mr. Khera
50:04I can't hear you
50:05I can't hear you
50:06At all
50:06Mr. Khera
50:07We spoke to
50:07Praniti Shinde
50:08From your party
50:09As well as
50:09Mahua Moitra
50:10From the TMC
50:12They allege
50:12They were manhandled
50:14By the Delhi police
50:15Well I was
50:16All of us
50:17Were manhandled
50:18Each one of us
50:19Was manhandled
50:21And you still
50:22Don't know
50:22Where you are
50:23Being taken
50:23Since the morning
50:24We will be in
50:24Manhandled
50:25Thrive
50:25So
50:26And we don't
50:26Know where
50:27They are being
50:27Taken
50:28There are injuries
50:29On our bodies
50:30So well
50:31Let them do
50:32What they have to
50:33Thank you for
50:34Joining us
50:34Mr. Khera
50:35I know you are
50:36In the bus
50:36Thank you for
50:37Joining us
50:37And taking the
50:38Time out sir
50:38We have just
50:39Beamed this
50:39Conversation live
50:40Thank you
50:42Syed Zafar Islam
50:44Look at how
50:45Opposition leaders
50:46Insist they
50:47Will continue
50:49This
50:49Every day
50:50Till the time
50:51Gyanesh Kumar
50:53Resigns
50:53Now
50:54They are also
50:54Saying why
50:55Is it that
50:55The BJP
50:56Is coming out
50:57To defend
50:57Gyanesh Kumar
50:58Let the election
50:59Commission do it
51:00Let the
51:00Spokespersons do it
51:01Why is
51:02For example
51:02Syed Zafar Islam
51:03Today
51:03The spokesperson
51:04For EC
51:09No we are not
51:10Speaking about
51:11Election Commission
51:13Or we are not
51:13The spokesperson
51:14Of election
51:15Commission
51:15We are only
51:17Talking about
51:17SIR as a
51:18Process
51:19As a concept
51:20That concept
51:22We all
51:23We all
51:23Back
51:24And we all
51:25Feel that
51:25That should
51:26This should be
51:27This have been
51:28Undertaken by
51:28Election Commission
51:29And it is the
51:30Right approach
51:30That is why
51:31We support
51:35Election Commission's
51:36Initiative
51:36And that is what
51:37Being advocated by
51:38Manu Singh
51:39We as well
51:39But let me tell
51:40You one thing
51:41Which is very
51:41Important
51:41I will give you
51:42A few numbers
51:43First
51:44Ration card
51:45During congress
51:46Regime
51:47There are people
51:48Who have never
51:48Born in this
51:49Country
51:49There is still
51:50Ration card
51:51Was made
51:52For those people
51:525 crore
51:54More than
51:545 crore
51:55Ration card
51:55Was removed
51:56They didn't say
51:57Anything because
51:57Those people
51:58Were never born
51:59But still
52:00Their ration card
52:01Was made
52:01Likewise
52:02Aadhar card
52:024.88 crore
52:04Aadhar card
52:04Was removed
52:05From the
52:06Because those
52:07People never
52:07Existed in this
52:08Country
52:08Who made
52:09Those
52:09Aadhar card
52:10Or who made
52:11Those ration cards
52:12During their
52:13Regime
52:13So all
52:14These bogus
52:14Voters
52:15Bogus
52:15Beneficiaries
52:17Of government
52:19Initiative
52:20They were all
52:21Created by
52:21The last 30
52:22Seconds on this
52:23Part of the show
52:23Respond
52:24It's that
52:25Bogus
52:26Ecosystem
52:27That the BJP
52:28Claims
52:28Congress
52:28Wants to
52:29Bring back
52:30Including
52:31The ballot
52:32Paper
52:32Because that's
52:33The real
52:33Vote
52:34Chory
52:34BJP
52:34Claims
52:35You want
52:35To do
52:37Gaurav
52:39Countries
52:39Struggled
52:40For
52:40Maybe half
52:42A century
52:42Or more
52:43Countries
52:43Or economically
52:44More developed
52:44Than us
52:45To get
52:46The right
52:46Of universal
52:47Adult franchise
52:48Something we
52:49Had at birth
52:49One man
52:50One vote
52:51Every single
52:51Person has
52:52A right to
52:52Vote
52:52In their
52:54Their need
52:55To delete
52:57Voters
52:57Who are not
52:58BJP voters
52:59What the
53:00Election commission
53:01In cahoots
53:01With the BJP
53:02Has done
53:02Has disenfranchised
53:04Crores of voters
53:05Through arbitrary
53:07Means
53:07Like bringing
53:08Up something
53:09Called logical
53:10Discrepancy
53:10Till date
53:11We don't
53:12Know what
53:12The logic
53:12Is in
53:13Logical
53:13Discrepancy
53:14Someone has
53:15Twins
53:15And both
53:16Their kids
53:17Get removed
53:17After the
53:18Draft voter
53:19List
53:19It was so
53:19Egregious
53:20In West
53:20Bengal
53:21That the
53:21Court itself
53:22Intervened and
53:23Set up
53:23Tribunals
53:24And now we
53:24Find out
53:25That those
53:25Who were
53:26Actually
53:26Sitting
53:26Judgment
53:27On
53:27Those
53:27Tribunals
53:27Had an
53:28Incredibly
53:29Hard
53:29Time
53:30Going through
53:30Those
53:31Things
53:31Again
53:31Because of
53:32Central
53:32Software
53:33That wasn't
53:33Allowing
53:33Them
53:34Access
53:34One of
53:35The beauties
53:35Of our
53:36System
53:36Of a
53:37Distributed
53:37Electoral
53:38Role
53:38Was destroyed
53:39Again by
53:40This election
53:40Commission
53:41By centralizing
53:42It and
53:42Then denying
53:43Access to
53:43The EROs
53:44So what
53:45Are we
53:45Supposed to
53:46Believe
53:46When there
53:47Are so
53:47Many
53:48Spoken
53:48And so
53:49Much more
53:51Including what
53:52The tribunal
53:53Is saying
53:53The problems
53:54They are
53:54Facing
53:55Whether it's
53:56Goa
53:57Maybe just
53:5797 odd
53:58Cases of
53:59Which 80
53:59May have
54:00Been
54:00Included
54:00It's not
54:01The number
54:01But from
54:02Goa to
54:03Bengal
54:03Process
54:04Becomes
54:05The punishment
54:05And the
54:06Weak
54:06May not
54:07Be able
54:07To get
54:07Back into
54:08The electoral
54:09Roles
54:10Two quick
54:11Points
54:11One
54:12The form
54:12Six
54:13You know
54:13Let's just
54:13Have some
54:14Clarity
54:14On that
54:14Aspect
54:15The form
54:15Six
54:16Itself
54:16Has not
54:16Been
54:17Altered
54:17This
54:17Has already
54:18Been
54:18The statement
54:18Has been
54:19Made in
54:19The Supreme
54:20Court
54:20Of India
54:20There was
54:21Only an
54:21Additional
54:22Layer
54:22Of
54:22Verification
54:23That was
54:23Brought
54:24In
54:24Into
54:24The form
54:25Six
54:25Because
54:25As I
54:26Had
54:26Explained
54:26Earlier
54:26The
54:27SIR
54:27Is an
54:28Essential
54:28Exercise
54:29That the
54:29Election
54:29Commission
54:29Has to
54:30Do
54:30So the
54:31Only
54:31Additional
54:33Requirement
54:33There was
54:34To say
54:34Have you
54:35Been on
54:36The earlier
54:36Election
54:36List
54:37Have your
54:37Parents
54:37Or
54:37Grandparents
54:38Been on
54:38The earlier
54:39Election
54:39List
54:39And it
54:40Is
54:40Let me
54:40Please
54:41Again
54:41Repeat
54:41This
54:41It is
54:42The
54:43Bound
54:43And
54:43Duty
54:44Responsibility
54:44Point
54:45Next
54:45Point
54:45Quickly
54:46I have
54:46Only
54:4630
54:46Seconds
54:47Yes
54:47And the
54:48Second
54:48Point
54:48With
54:49A lot
54:49Of
54:49Respect
54:49To
54:50Mohan
54:50It is
54:51A very
54:51Very
54:52Dangerous
54:52Inflammatory
54:53Irresponsible
54:54Statement
54:54To say
54:55That the
54:55SIR
54:56Has
54:56Helped
54:57Or
54:57Benefited
54:57Certain
54:58Parties
54:58Or
54:58Political
54:59Parties
54:59Or
54:59Has
55:00Been
55:00To
55:00The
55:00Detriment
55:01Of
55:01Opposition
55:01Parties
55:02In
55:02West
55:02Bengal
55:02Or
55:02Any
55:03Other
55:03State
55:03Let
55:03me
55:04Please
55:04Point
55:04This
55:04Out
55:04There
55:05Is
55:05There
55:05Are
55:05Statistics
55:06There
55:06Data
55:06To
55:07Show
55:07That
55:07After
55:08The
55:08Deletions
55:08Were
55:08Done
55:09In
55:09The
55:09Bengal
55:09SIR
55:10In
55:10Fact
55:10The
55:11Seats
55:11Where
55:11The
55:11Deletions
55:12Were
55:12Done
55:12It
55:12Was
55:13Pretty
55:13Much
55:13Neck
55:13To
55:14Neck
55:14In
55:14Terms
55:14Of
55:14How
55:14Many
55:14Seats
55:15The
55:15TMC
55:15Won
55:15And
55:16How
55:16Many
55:16Seats
55:16The
55:16BJP
55:17One
55:17Therefore
55:17Without
55:17Evidence
55:18To
55:18Say
55:18This
55:18With
55:19Great
55:19Respect
55:19To
55:20Mohan
55:20I
55:20Do
55:20Not
55:20Think
55:21He
55:21Should
55:21Make
55:21A
55:21Statement
55:22Like
55:22This
55:22However
55:23We
55:23Need
