00:05psalm 143 verse 2 enter not into judgment with thy servant o lord for in thy sight shall no man
00:16living be justified
00:20dearly beloved brethren the scripture moves us in sundry places to acknowledge and confess our
00:28manifold sins and wickedness but that we should not disassemble nor clave them before the face of
00:37almighty god our heavenly father but confess them with a humble lowly penitence and obedient heart
00:47to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same by his infinite goodness and mercy and although we
00:57ought at all times humbly to acknowledge our sins before god
01:01yet ought we chiefly so to do when we assemble and meet together to render thanks for the great benefits
01:10we have received at his hands
01:12to set forth his most worthy praise to hear his most holy word and to ask those things which are
01:21requisite
01:22and necessary as well for the body as the soul
01:28wherefore i pray and beseech you as many as are here present to accompany me with a pure heart
01:35and humble voice to the throne of the heavenly grace saying after me
01:44almighty and most merciful father we have aired and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep
01:53we have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts
02:00we have offended against thy holy laws
02:05we have left undone those things which we ought to have done
02:10and we have done those things we ought not to have done and there is no health in us
02:18but thou o lord have mercy upon us miserable offenders
02:24spare thou them o god who confess their faults restore thou those who are penitent
02:32according to thy promises declared unto mankind in christ jesus our lord
02:39and grant o most merciful father for his sake that we may hereafter live a godly righteous and sober life
02:48to the glory of thy holy name amen
02:55almighty god the father of our lord jesus christ who desireth not the death of a sinner but rather that
03:03he
03:04turned from his wickedness and lived and has given power and commandments to his ministers to declare and
03:11pronounce to his people being penitent the absolution and remission of their sins
03:21he pardoneth and absolveth all who truly repent and unfaimly believe his holy gospel
03:31wherefore let us beseech him to grant us true repentance
03:35and his holy spirit that those things may please him which we do at this present
03:43and that the rest of our life hereafter may be pure and holy so that at the last we may
03:50come to his
03:50eternal joy through jesus christ our lord
03:57amen

13:02o lord god of my salvation i have cried day and night before thee
13:07oh let my prayer into thy presence incline thine ear unto my calling for my soul is full of trouble
13:16and my life draweth nigh unto hell
13:20i am counted as one of them that go down into the pit and i have been even as a
13:26man that has no strength
13:29free among the dead like unto them that are wounded and lie in the grave
13:35who are out of remembrance and are cut away from thy hand
13:39thou hast laid me in the lowest pit in a place of darkness and in the deep
13:46thine indignation lieth hard upon me and thou hast vexed me with all thy storms
13:53thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me and made me to be a horde of them
14:01i am so fast in prison that i cannot get caught
14:06my sight favoured for very trouble lord i have called daily upon thee i have stretched forth my hands unto
14:15thee
14:17thou hast thou show wonders amongst the dead or shall the dead rise up and praise thee
14:24shall thy loving kindness be showed in the grave or thy faithfulness in destruction

15:35as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end amen
15:45the prophet zechariah chapter one in the eighth month in the second year of darius yahweh's word
15:53came to zechariah the son of berechiah son of iddo the prophet saying yahweh was very displeased with
16:01your fathers therefore tell them yahweh of armies says return to me and i will return to you says yahweh
16:10of
16:10armies don't you be like your fathers to whom the former prophets proclaimed saying the lord says
16:18return now from your evil ways and from your evil doings but they didn't hear and they didn't listen
16:25to me says yahweh your fathers where are they the prophets do they live forever but my words and my
16:35decrees which i commanded my servants the prophets didn't they overtake your fathers then they repented
16:43and said just as yahweh of armies determined to do to us according to our ways and according to our
16:50practices
16:51he has dealt with us
16:55on the 24th day of the 11th month which is the month of shabbat in the second year of darius
17:03yahweh's
17:04word came to zechariah son of bechariah son of iddo the prophet saying i had a vision in the night
17:13and behold a man riding on a red horse and he stood amongst the myrtle trees that were in a
17:19ravine
17:20and behind him there were red brown and white horses i asked my lord what are these the angel
17:30who walked with me said to me i will show you what they are the man who stood amongst the
17:36myrtle trees
17:36answered they are the ones yahweh has sent to go back and forth through the earth they reported to
17:44yahweh's angel who stood amongst the myrtle trees and said we have walked back and forth through the
17:50earth and behold all the earth is at rest and in peace then yahweh's angel replied oh yahweh of armies
18:00how long will you not have mercy on jerusalem and on the cities of judah against which you have
18:07had an indignation these 70 years yahweh answered the angel who talked with me with kind and comforting
18:17words so the angel who talked with me said to me proclaim saying yahweh of armies says i am jealous
18:27for
18:27jerusalem and for jerusalem and for zion with a great jealousy i am very angry with the nations that are
18:34at ease for i was but a little displeased but they added to the calamity therefore yahweh says i have
18:44returned to jerusalem with mercy my house shall be built in it and a line shall be stretched out over
18:52jerusalem proclaim further saying yahweh of armies says my cities will again overflow with prosperity
19:01and yahweh will again comfort zion and again choose jerusalem i lifted up my eyes and saw behold four
19:12horns i asked the angel who walked with me what are these he answered me these are the horns that
19:20have
19:21scattered judah israel and jerusalem yahweh showed me four craftsmen and i asked what are these coming to
19:31do he said these are the horns that scattered judah so that no man lifted up his head but they
19:39have come
19:39to terrify them to cast down the horns of the nations which lifted their horn against the land of judah

22:44the first epistle to the thessalonians chapter 2
22:49for you yourselves brothers are conscious that our coming among you was not without effect
22:56but after we had first undergone much pain and been cruelly attacked as you saw at philippi by the
23:03help of god we gave you the news without fear although everything was against us for our witness does not
23:11come from error or from an unclean heart or from deceit but even as the good news was given to
23:18us by the
23:19approval of god so we give it out not to please men but god by whom our hearts are tested
23:27for it is
23:29common knowledge among you that we never made use of smooth sounding false words and god is witness that
23:36at no time were we secretly desiring profit for ourselves or looking for glory from men from you or from
23:45others when we might have made ourselves a care to you as apostles of christ
23:52but we were gentle among you like a woman caring for her babies being full of loving desire for you
24:00we took delight in giving you not only god's good news but even our lives because you were dear to
24:07us
24:09you recall dear brothers and sisters our toil and drudgery by working night and day so as not to impose
24:18a burden on any of you we preached to you the gospel of god you are witnesses and so is
24:25god as to how holy
24:27and righteous and blameless our conduct was toward you who believe as you know we treated each one of you
24:36as a father treats his own children exhorting and encouraging insisting that you never weigh worthy of god
24:45who calls you to his own kingdom and to his glory we constantly thank god that when you received god's
24:54message that you heard from us you accepted it not as a human message but as it truly is god's
25:02message
25:03which is at work amongst you who believe for you brothers became imitators of the assemblies of god
25:11which are in judea in christ jesus for you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen
25:19even as they did from the jews who killed both the lord jesus and their own prophets and drove us
25:26out
25:26and don't please god being contrary to all men forbidding us to speak to the gentiles that they may be
25:35saved
25:35to fill up their sins always but wrath has come upon them to the uttermost
25:43but we brothers being bereaved of you for just a short season in presence but not in heart tried even
25:51harder to see your face with great desire because we wanted to come to you indeed i paul once and
25:59again but satan hindered us for what is our hope or joy or crown of rejoicing isn't it even you
26:08before our lord jesus at his coming for you are our glory and our joy this is the word of
26:17the lord
26:19thanks be to god
26:28blessed be the lord god of israel for he hath visited and redeemed his people
26:35and hath raised up a mighty salvation for us in the house of his servant david
26:42as he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets which have since been since the world began that we
26:49should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all that hate us to perform the mercy promised
26:57to
26:58our forefathers and to remember his holy covenant to perform the oath which he swore to our forefather
27:05abraham that he would give us that would be delivered out of the hand of our enemies might
27:12serve him without fear holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life and our child
27:23shall be called the prophet of the highest for thou shalt go before the face of the lord to prepare
27:29his
27:29ways to give knowledge of salvation to his people for the remission of their sins through the tender
27:37mercy of our god whereby the day spring from on high hath visited us to give light to them that
27:46sit in
27:46darkness and in the shadow of death and to guide our feet into the way of peace
27:54glory be to the father and to the son and to the holy ghost as it was in the beginning
28:00is now and
28:01ever shall be world without end amen
