00:04prophet daniel chapter 9 verses 9 and 10
00:11to the lord our god belong mercies and forgiveness
00:16though we have rebelled against him
00:19neither have we obeyed the voice of the lord our god
00:24to walk in his laws which he set before us
00:31dearly beloved brethren the scripture moves us in sundry places
00:36to acknowledge and confess our manifold sins
00:40and wickedness but that we should not
00:44disassemble nor clave them before the face of almighty
00:49god our heavenly father but confess them
00:53with a humble lowly penitence and obedient
00:57heart to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same by his infinite goodness
01:05and mercy and although we ought at all times humbly to acknowledge our sins before god
01:13yet ought we chiefly so to do when we assemble and meet together to render thanks for the great benefits
01:21we have received at his hands to set forth his most worthy praise to hear his most
01:29holy word and to ask those things which are requisite and necessary as well for the body as the soul
01:39wherefore i pray and beseech you as many as are here present to accompany me with a pure heart
01:46and humble voice to the throne of the heavenly grace saying after me
01:55almighty and most merciful father we have aired and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep
02:04we have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts
02:11we have offended against thy holy laws
02:16we have left undone
02:18those things which we ought to have done
02:21and we have done those things we ought not
02:24to have done
02:25and there is no help in us
02:29but thou o lord have mercy upon us
02:32miserable offenders
02:35spare thou them o god who confess
02:38their faults restore thou those who are penitent
02:43according to thy promises declared unto mankind
02:47in christ jesus our lord
02:50and grant
02:51o most merciful father for his sake
02:54that we may hereafter live a godly righteous and sober life
03:00to the glory of thy holy name
03:03amen
03:06almighty god the father of our lord jesus christ who desireth not the death of a sinner
03:13but rather that he turn from his wickedness and live
03:18and has given power and commandment to his ministers to declare and pronounce to his people
03:25being penitent
03:28the absolution and remission of their sins
03:31he pardoneth and absolveth all who truly repent
03:36and unfaimly believe his holy gospel
03:43wherefore let us beseech him to grant us true repentance
03:47and his holy spirit
03:48that those things that those things may please him which we do at this present
03:54and that the rest of our life hereafter may be pure and holy

07:48has done his wonders and the judgments of his merit oh ye seed of abraham his servant the children of
07:57jacob
07:58his chosen he is the lord our god his judgments are in all the world he had been always mindful
08:07of his
08:08covenant and promise that he made to a thousand generations
08:14even the covenant that he made with abraham and the oath that he swear unto isaac and appointed the
08:21same unto jacob for a law and to israel from everlasting testament
08:27saying unto thee will i give the land of canaan the lot of your inheritance
08:34when there were yet but a few of them and they strangers in the land
08:38what times they went from one nation to another from one kingdom to another people he suffered no man
08:46to do them wrong but reproved even kings for their sakes catch not mine anointed and do my prophets no
08:55harm
08:57moreover he called for a dearth upon the land and destroyed all the provision of bread
09:04but he had sent a man before them even joseph who was sold to be a bond servant whose feet
09:11they
09:12hurt in the stocks the iron entered into his soul until the time came that his cause was known the
09:19word of
09:20the lord tried him the king sent and delivered him the prince of the people let him go free he
09:28made
09:28lord also of his house and ruler of all his substance that he might inform his princes after his will
09:36and teach his senators wisdom israel also came into egypt and jacob was a stranger in the land of ham
09:46and he increased his people exceedingly and made them stronger than their enemies whose hearts turned
09:53so that they hated his people and dealt and grew truly with his servants then sent he moses his servant
10:01and aaron whom he had chosen and these showed them his tokens among them and wonders in the land of
10:09ham
10:11he sent darkness and it was dark and they were not obedient unto his word he turned their waters into
10:18blood and slew their fish their land brought forth frogs yea even into their kingdoms their king's chambers
10:29he spake the word and there came all manner of flies and lice in all their quarters he gave them
10:36hail stones for rain and flames of fire in their land he smoked their vines also and fig trees and
10:44destroyed the
10:45trees that were on the coasts he spake the word and the grasshoppers came and caterpillars innumerable
10:54and they did eat up all the grass in the land and devoured the fruit of their groan he smote

11:09there was not one feeble person among their tribes egypt was glad of their departing for they were afraid
11:18of them he spread out a cloud to be a covering and fire to give light in the night season
11:25of their desire
11:28he brought quails and he filled them with the bread of heaven he opened the rock of stone and the
11:35waters
11:35flowed out so that the rivers ran in dry places why he remembered his holy promise and abraham his servant
11:46and he brought forth his people with joy and he's chosen with gladness and gave them the lands of the
11:52heathen
11:53and they took the labors of the people in possession that they might keep his statutes and observe his laws
12:02glory be to the father and to the son and to the holy ghost as it was in the beginning
12:08is now and ever
12:09shall be world without end amen
12:17the prophet zechariah chapter seven in the fourth year of king darius yahweh's word came to zechariah
12:25in the fourth day of the ninth month the month of chislev the people of bethel sent shalazer and regemelech
12:33and their men to entreat yahweh's favor to speak to the priests of the house of yahweh of armies and
12:40to
12:40the prophets saying should i weep in the fifth month separating myself as i have done these so many years
12:51then the word of yahweh of armies came to me saying speak to all the people of the land and
12:56to the priests
12:57saying when you fasted and mourned in the fifth and in the seventh month for these seventy years
13:05did you really fast to me really to me
13:11when you eat and when you drink don't you eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves
13:16are not these the words which yahweh proclaimed by the former prophets
13:21when jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity
13:24and in cities around her and the south and the lowlands were inhabited
13:31yahweh's word came to zechariah saying
13:34so has yahweh of armies spoken saying execute true judgment and show kindness and compassion
13:42every man to his brother do not oppress the widow the fatherless the foreigner or the poor
13:49and let none of you devise evil schemes against his brother in your heart
13:54but they refused to listen and turn their backs stopping their ears that they might not hear
14:01yes they made their hearts as hard as flint yet lest they might hear the law and the words which
14:09yahweh of armies had sent by his spirit from the former prophets
14:14therefore great wrath came from yahweh of armies
14:18it came to pass as he called and they refused to listen so they will call and i will not
14:25listen
14:26said yahweh of armies but i must gather them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they have not
14:32known
