00:05psalm 143 verse 2 enter not into judgment with thy servant o lord for in thy sight shall no man
00:16living be justified dearly beloved brethren the scripture moves us in sundry places to acknowledge
00:27and confess our manifold sins and wickedness but that we should not disassemble nor clave them
00:36before the face of almighty god our heavenly father but confess them with a humble lowly penitent
00:45and obedient heart to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same by his infinite goodness
00:53and mercy and although we ought at all times humbly to acknowledge our sins before god
01:02yet ought we chiefly so to do when we assemble and meet together to render thanks for the great
01:09benefits we have received at his hands to set forth his most worthy praise to hear his most holy word
01:19and to ask those things which are requisite and necessary as well for the body as the soul
01:28wherefore i pray and beseech you as many as are here present to accompany me with a pure heart
01:35and humble voice to the throne of the heavenly grace saying after me
01:44almighty and most merciful father we have aired and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep
01:53we have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts we have offended against thy holy laws
02:05we have left undone those things which we ought to have done and we have done those things we ought
02:12not
02:13to have done and there is no help in us but thou o lord have mercy upon us miserable offenders
02:24spare thou them o god who confess their faults restore thou those who are penitent
02:31according to thy promises declared unto mankind in christ jesus our lord
02:38and grant o most merciful father for his sake that we may hereafter live a godly righteous and sober life
02:48to the glory of thy holy name amen
02:55almighty god the father of our lord jesus christ who desireth not the death of a sinner but rather that
03:03he
03:04turn from his wickedness and live and has given power and commandments to his ministers to declare and
03:11pronounce to his people being penitent the absolution and remission of their sins
03:21he pardoneth and absolve it all who truly repent and unfaimly believe his holy gospel
03:32wherefore let us beseech him to grant us true repentance and his holy spirit that those things
03:39may please him which we do at this present and that the rest of our life hereafter may be pure
03:46and holy
03:47so that at the last we may come to his eternal joy through jesus christ our lord

06:26forty years long i was grieved with this generation and said it is a people
06:30that do err in their hearts and they have not known my ways
06:37unto whom i swore in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest

08:24preserve me o god for in thee have i put my trust
08:30o my soul thou hast said unto the lord thou art my god my goods are nothing unto thee
08:39all my delight is upon the saints that are in the earth and upon such as excel in virtue
08:47but they that run after another god shall have great trouble
08:52their drink offerings of blood will i not offer
08:55neither make mention of thy names with my lips
09:00the lord himself is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup
09:06thou shalt maintain my lot
09:09the lot is fallen unto me in a fair ground
09:12yea i have a goodly heritage
09:15i will thank the lord for giving me warning
09:18my reign is also chasing me in the night season
09:22i have said god always before me for he is on my right hand therefore i shall not fall
09:30wherefore my heart was glad at my glory rigorous
09:34my flesh also shall rest in hope
09:37for why
09:39thou shalt not leave my soul in hell
09:42neither shalt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption
09:47thou shalt show me the path of life in thy presence is the fullness of joy and at thy right

10:09amen
10:12the prophet amos chapter 7
10:16thus the lord yahweh showed me and behold he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the
10:23latter growth
10:24and behold it was the latter growth after the king's harvest
10:28when they finished eating the grass of the land then i said
10:32lord yahweh forgive i beg you how could jacob stand for he is small
10:40yahweh relented concerning this
10:43it shall not be said yahweh
10:46thus the lord yahweh showed me and behold the lord yahweh called for judgment by fire
10:52and it dried up the great deep and would have devoured the land and i said
10:57lord yahweh stop i beg you how could jacob stand for he is small
11:04yahweh relented concerning this
11:08this also shall not be said the lord yahweh
11:13then he shared me and behold the lord stood beside a wall made by a plumb line
11:18with a plumb line in his hand
11:22he said to me amos what do you see i said a plumb line
11:27then the lord said look i will set a plumb line in the middle of my people israel
11:33i will not pass by them again
11:37the high places of isaac will be desolate the sanctuaries of israel will be laid waste
11:43and i will rise against the house of jeroboam with the sword
11:50then amaziah the priest of bethel sent to jeroboam king of israel saying
11:55amos has conspired against you in the middle of the house of israel
12:00the land is not able to bear his words for amos says
12:04jeroboam will die by the sword and israel will surely be led away captive out of his land
12:14amaziah also said to amos you seer go flee to the land of judah and eat bread there and prophesied
12:24there but don't prophesy again in bethel for it is the king's sanctuary and it is a royal house
12:32then amos answered amaziah i was no prophet neither was i a prophet's son i was a simple
12:41herdsman a farmer of sycamore figs and yahweh took me from following the flock and said to me
12:48go prophesy to my people israel now therefore listen to yahweh's word
12:56you say don't prophesy against israel don't preach against the house of isaac
13:04therefore yahweh says your wife shall be a prostitute in the city and your sons and daughters
13:11shall fall by the sword and your land shall be divided by line you yourself shall die in a land
13:19that is unclean and israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land

15:14thy servants, whom thou hast redeemed with thy precious blood.
15:19Make them to be numbered with thy sights in glory everlasting.
15:26O Lord, save thy people and bless thine heritage.
15:30Govern them and lift them up for ever.
15:34Day by day we magnify thee, and we worship thy name, ever world without end.
15:43Vouchsafe, O Lord, to keep us this day without sin.
15:47Lord, have mercy upon us, have mercy upon us.
15:52Lord, let thy mercy lighten upon us, as our trust is in thee.
15:58O Lord, in thee have I trusted, let me never be confronted.
16:05Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
16:09as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
16:16Amen.
16:25I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
16:33with all loneliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
16:39being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
16:44There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling.
16:51One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all,
16:56who is over all and through all and in us all.
17:01But to each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
17:08Therefore, he says, when he ascended on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts to people.
17:16Now this he ascended.
17:18What is it but that they first also descended into the lower parts of the earth?
17:24For he who descended is the one who also ascended far above the heavens,
17:30that he might fill all things.
17:33He gave some to be apostles and some prophets, some evangelists, some shepherds and teachers,
17:40for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,
17:46until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
17:52to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
17:58that we may no longer be children tossed back and forth,
18:02carried abate with every wind of doctrine by the trickery of men,
18:07in craftiness after the wiles of error.
18:10But that we speak truth in love,
18:13we may grow up all in things in him who is the head, Christ,
18:19from whom all the body being fitted and knitted together,
18:23through that which every joint supplies,
18:26according to the working in measure of each individual part,
18:31making the body increase to the building up of itself in love.
18:37I say this, therefore, and testify in the Lord,
18:40that you will no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk,
18:45in the futility of their mind,
18:48being darkened in their understanding and alienated from the life of God,
18:53because of the ignorance that is in them,
18:56and because of the hardness of their hearts,
18:59who have become callous,
19:00giving themselves up to lust,
19:03to work all uncleanness and greediness.
19:07But you didn't learn Christ that way,
19:10if indeed you heard him and were taught in him,
19:13even as truth is in Jesus.
19:16That you put away as concerning your former way of life,
19:20the old man,
19:21grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,
19:24and you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
19:27and put on the new man,
19:29who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness
19:33and holiness of truth.
19:36Therefore, putting away falsehood,
19:38speak truth each one with his neighbour,
19:41for we are all members of one another.
19:45This is the word of the Lord.
19:48Thanks be to God.
19:57Blessed be the Lord God of Israel,
20:00for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
20:04and hath raised up a mighty salvation for us
20:07in the house of his servant David,
20:11as he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets,
20:14which have since been since the world began,
20:17that we should be saved from our enemies
20:20and from the hand of all that hate us,
20:24to perform the mercy promised to our forefathers
20:27and to remember his holy covenant,
20:31to perform the oath which he swore to our forefather Abraham,
20:35that he would give us,
20:37that would be delivered out of the hand of our enemies,
20:41might serve him without fear,
20:43in holiness and righteousness before him
20:46all the days of our life.
20:50And thou, child,
20:52shalt be called the prophet of the highest,
20:54for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord
20:57to prepare his ways,
20:59to give knowledge of salvation to his people
21:02for the remission of their sins,
21:05through the tender mercy of our God,
21:07whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
21:13to give light to them that sit in darkness
21:16and in the shadow of death,
21:18and to guide our feet into the way of peace.
21:23Glory be to the Father and to the Son
21:25and to the Holy Ghost,
21:27as it was in the beginning,
21:29is now and ever shall be,
21:31world without end.
21:33Amen.
21:40I believe in God the Father Almighty,
21:44maker of heaven and earth,
21:47and in Jesus Christ,
21:48his only Son, our Lord,
21:50who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
21:53born of the Virgin Mary,
21:55suffered unto Pontius Pilate,
21:57crucified, dead, and buried.
21:59He descended into hell
22:02the third day he rose again from the dead.
22:06He ascended into heaven
22:08and sitteth on the right hand
22:10of God the Father Almighty.
22:13From thence he shall come to judge
22:15the quick and the dead.
22:18I believe in the Holy Ghost,
22:20the holy Catholic Church,
22:22the communion of saints,
22:24the forgiveness of sins,
22:26the resurrection of the body,
22:28and the life everlasting.
22:31Amen.
22:35The Lord be with you
22:37and with thy spirit.
22:41Let us pray.
22:44Lord, have mercy upon us.
22:47Christ, have mercy upon us.
22:50Lord, have mercy upon us.
22:56Our Father, which art in heaven,
22:59hallowed be thy name.
23:01Thy kingdom come.
23:03Thy will be done
23:04on earth as it is in heaven.
23:08Give us this day our daily bread
23:10and forgive us our trespasses
23:12as we forgive those
23:15who trespass against us.
23:17And lead us not into temptation,
23:20but deliver us from evil.
23:22Amen.
23:26O Lord, show thy mercy upon us
23:29and grant us thy salvation.
23:33O Lord, save the King
23:35and mercifully hear us
23:38when we call upon thee.
23:41Endue thy ministers
23:43with righteousness
23:44and make thy chosen people joyful.
23:50O Lord, save thy people
23:52and bless thine inheritance.
23:58Give peace in our time, O Lord,
24:01because there is none other
24:03that fighteth for us
24:04but only thou, O God.
24:08O God, make clean our hearts within us
24:13and take not thy Holy Spirit from us.
24:27Lord, we pray thee that thy grace
24:30may always prevent and follow us
24:33and make us continually
24:35to be given to all good works.
24:38Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
24:41Amen.
24:42Amen.
24:55O God, who art the author of peace
24:58and lover of concord
25:00in the knowledge of whom
25:02standeth our eternal life
25:04whose service is perfect freedom.
25:06defend us, thy humble servants
25:10in all assaults of our enemies
25:12that we, surely trusting in thy defence
25:16may not fear the power of any adversities.
25:20Through the might of Jesus Christ,
25:22our Lord.
25:23Amen.
25:28O Lord, our Heavenly Father,
25:30almighty and everlasting God,
25:32who has safely brought us
25:34to the beginning of this day,
25:36defend us in the same
25:38with thy mighty power
25:39and grant that this day
25:41we fall into no sin
25:43neither run into any kind of danger
25:47but that all our doings
25:49may be ordered according
25:50to thy governance
25:51to do always that
25:54which is righteous in your sight
25:56through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
26:02O Lord, our Heavenly Father,
26:04the high and mighty King of Kings,
26:07Lord of Lords
26:08and Ruler of Princes,
26:12who dost from thy throne
26:13behold all the dwellers on earth.
26:16Most heartily we beseech thee
26:18with thy favour
26:19to behold our most gracious
26:21sovereign King, King Charles
26:23and so replenish him
26:25with the grace of thy Holy Spirit
26:27that he may always incline
26:30to thy will
26:31and walk in thy way.
26:33Endue him plenteously
26:35with heavenly gifts.
26:37Grudge him in health
26:39and wealth long to live.
26:42Strengthen him
26:43that he may vanquish
26:44and overcome all his enemies
26:47and finally after this life
26:49he may attain everlasting joy
26:52and felicity.
26:54Through Jesus Christ,
26:56our Lord.
26:57Amen.

27:46Pour upon them
27:47the continual due
