It's normal to wonder if the Cowboys got "damaged goods" in the trade for Joey Porter Jr. Bryan Broaddus says that isn't the case here.

00:00As a pessimistic Cowboy fan, I have to wonder if we just paid extra for someone else's damaged goods.
00:07The people in Pittsburgh told me, and listen, this guy, he told me all about George Pickens.
00:13He said, we messed up George Pickens.
00:15Like, when they made the trade, he told me, he goes, we messed this one up.
00:19And this is a guy within the Steeler organization.
00:22And so he was adamant.
00:25This guy is a good locker room guy.
00:28He's a good teammate.
00:29He's going to do whatever they ask him to do.
00:32He just was in this dispute.
00:33You know, and the Steelers had their line, and he had his line.
00:36But this guy had every reason to say, this guy's a jerk, and we fleeced you and all that.
00:41He said, nah.
00:43He said, you've got a legitimate player.
00:45We just couldn't get it done here.
00:46And that's why, I mean, you kept on saying that the Steelers didn't want to, because they didn't want to
00:50move him.
00:51They didn't want to move him.
00:52Eventually, this thing got to the point?
00:53It got to the point when the whole thing broke down for the game tonight against them.
01:00He went back to faking the back injury for a third time.
01:03They had taken him off of back injury designation on the practice report two previous times.
01:07They had to put him back on for a third time.
01:09And from what I could gather in Pittsburgh yesterday, you could feel it in the air.
01:14Like it was a monumental shift.
