Bernie Rayno looks at some of the games in the region and breaks down which could be impacted by the weather.
Transcript
00:00We have a steamy and stormy Saturday across the southeast, and that means for college football, the weather is going
00:07to impact a lot of games.
00:09Let's go over some of the biggest games.
00:11First, I think the biggest game in the southeast is this one, Alabama at Mississippi State in Starkville.
00:18Now, there's at least going to be showers around, but we are concerned there could be a thunderstorm.
00:22And if a thunderstorm comes within eight miles of any of the stadiums, they'll shut play down.
00:27A little farther to the north, Notre Dame, North Carolina.
00:31The pregame, I think, is dry.
00:34Most of the game is dry, but by the fourth quarter, we're going to increase the probability for a thunderstorm
00:40or two, so we could have some delays during the latter half of that game.
00:44Vanderbilt at Georgia in Athens at 1245.
00:48There's going to be some thunderstorms around any time, but especially during the afternoon, so this is yet another game
00:55that can get delayed.
00:56Up the road, Auburn versus Tennessee.
00:59I think the thunderstorms here are spotty, but they could be close enough to cause some delays.
01:04Kickoff in Knoxville at 330, and then the night game, Miami at Clemson.
01:10I think there's going to be delays here.
01:11Look for some showers and even a few thunderstorms as we roll into 730 in the upstate of South Carolina.
