00:22So, good morning, it's 5.30am and I've
00:29set up my hide again along the western embankment at a different spot to the one the other day with
00:35the flamingos and today I'm hoping that we'll get wild fowl as well as flamingos and more importantly, I guess,
00:47or equally importantly, I should say, a really fabulous sunrise, much like the one that we had from the monastery
00:54view the other day.
00:59So, on a bad point, as soon as I got here it started drizzling but I'm hoping that's just a
01:06cloud that's going past.
01:08And from looking at the horizon it's looking pretty much like it did the other day so you've got smog
01:18sitting along the bottom of the horizon with clearing skies above it and the odd cloud just drifting across really
01:30quite brightly.
01:30So, I'm hoping that we're going to get a really decent sunrise and some wild fowl, flamingos and whatever else
01:40the morning might bring.
01:42So, this spot is a little bit close to the water than the one the other day so that's good
01:49and it's also in a better spot for the wild fowl, the ducks and the dabblers and the waders that
01:56like to feed along the shoreline here.
02:00So, I'm hopeful that we're going to get some decent shots this morning and some decent video as well.
02:07So, I'll catch up with you in a little while once the light starts to come up which is still
02:12about two hours away so a little bit of patience now.
02:34I'm pretty sure the camera picked that up.
02:55So, I'm hoping that that's not a bad sign that's from the massive cloud that you just saw above the
03:01horizon but the horizon itself is just glowing red.
03:04And it's reflecting beautifully in the lake which is like glass at this minute.
03:15So, I'm trying not to show too much light to give any birds that might be passing any room to
03:24be scared of coming down and landing in front of me here.
03:30So, apologies for the bad light.
03:34So, we'll just have to wait it out and see what comes along.
03:40It should be interesting though anyway.
03:54You can see the thunder cloud there past overhead and it's raining over to the left.
04:02As you can see the big cloud above me.
04:08But the rain didn't come.
04:09It got a couple of drops and it just passed over.
04:13Oh, and I've got ducks coming across right now.
04:33That's the 3200 of that fall.
04:36It's giving me a 40th of a second, so I don't know what's going to come out.
04:45It'll be a door shut.
04:48We shall see.
04:53A little bit moving, but it's not bad. It's actually quite nice image anyway.
04:59Purely because of the colour. It's so stunning.
05:03I'm hoping as the sun rises between the mountain, in that gap between the mountain and the cloud,
05:11that it should light up the bottom of the cloud as well and should give a stunning, stunning picture.
05:23Can we wait?
05:26I'm hoping a little while.
05:29We shall see.
05:36It's so gorgeous.
05:37It's so, so beautiful.
06:07It's so beautiful.
06:09Okay, so the sun is fully up now. The rain is still coming down quite heavily. It's not full of
06:17time raining. Just to consult with it because I'm not taking any pictures just at the minute. There's nothing out
06:21there for me to try to grow.
06:24I'm trying to hang on as long as I can because I can see some is going to my left.
06:35It all depends on whether this height can hold out any longer as well because it's starting to drip through.
06:43But if they should come, photography in this sort of weather with the raindrops, if I can get a decent
06:50shot of a duck with the rain, it could look really amazing.
06:55So I'm going to try and hang on for as long as I can. But I think I'll sign off
07:04right now. If I'm successful, you'll see the photos in a minute.
07:08Otherwise, thank you for watching. Thank you if you follow me and subscribe to this channel. And I hope to
07:20be able to bring you more wildlife photography from Greece in the very near future. Thanks again. Bye for now.
07:39Bye.
