00:00In this video, I will show you how to uninstall the Riot client and Valorant.
00:05So I'll show you step by step how to properly remove the Riot client and Valorant from your
00:09Windows computer.
00:10Whether you're no longer playing Valorant, need to free up storage space or just simply
00:14want to completely remove the Riot game software from your PC, this guide will walk you through
00:18the uninstall process.

00:30Now to do this, as you can see, we're here on my desktop.
00:32What you want to do is come down to your search box in the task at the bottom and in
00:36here you
00:37want to type remove programs.
00:39Underneath best match, you should see add or remove programs come up.
00:43Give that a click.
00:44What that's going to do is open a window like this.
00:47Now what we can do is come up to the search box and in here if we type Riot, it
00:52should
00:52locate the Riot Client as well as any Riot Client games.
00:55Before you can uninstall the Riot Client, you first need to uninstall any games which are
01:00Riot games.
01:02So you can see I've got Valorant and League of Legends installed.
01:05So what you want to do first is uninstall these by coming to the right hand side of Valorant,
01:10clicking onto the three dots, clicking onto uninstall.
01:13Click uninstall again and what it's going to do is bring up a window like this.
01:18What you can do is go ahead and click uninstall.
01:19And if it does come up with a message like this saying the Riot Client is running, then
01:24it's not going to allow you to uninstall Valorant or the Riot Client.
01:28So if that's the case for you, what you want to do is come down to the bottom right hand
01:31corner of your desktop, click onto the small arrow here, which says show hidden icons,
01:35and you should find the Riot Client logo which is running in the background.
01:39What you want to do is right click onto this and then click onto exit.
01:43And once you've done that, you should now be able to uninstall.
01:46So just uninstall the games first of all, click onto uninstall.
01:50As you can see, it says uninstall successful.
01:52So what we can do is click onto done, and then we can do that again for League of Legends
01:56as well.
01:57So uninstall this.
01:58And I've also got Teamfight Tactics.
02:00So I'm just going to click uninstall both.
02:02We can see that's been done.
02:03And once the games has been uninstalled, you should now be able to uninstall the Riot Client
02:07from your computer or laptop.
02:09So again, we're just going to go through, click to uninstall.
02:12And as you can see, we've got the uninstall successful message.
02:15And you can see that the Riot Client and Valorant and any of the related Riot games have now been
02:21uninstalled.
02:22So that is how to uninstall the Riot Client and Valorant.
