00:00Starting off with a commanding victory over Zimbabwe is just the start to win these women were looking for in
00:07the ODI series.
00:08Hayley Matthews led the way with a brilliant 182. She commented on her performance.
00:14A new PB for myself, definitely set some, I guess, high goals coming into this series.
00:19So, yeah, just pretty happy I've been able to start well.
00:22So, as much as I can, I set an example out on the park with the bat and, well, not
00:30the ball today, but just in general with performances.
00:34So, to be able to go to, I think, at the top of the order and get a score like
00:38that and, I guess, get us into a position going into that second innings where we felt that we had
00:43a good score on the board, certainly makes me feel like I did my job.
00:48She felt Zimbabwe played well at some points in the match, but they were able to ride through those periods.
00:53They were very disciplined through certain periods of the game.
00:58We were certainly flowing well at some points and then at other points throughout our innings whilst batting, they felt
01:05like they were a bit on top and controlling a bit more.
01:09So, we certainly had to stay patient at times and I think it was due to them bowling really well
01:16in periods and I think, too, in the field, they all looked really sharp, moved around well.
01:23And, yeah, definitely made it hard for us to run to or take any quick singles.
01:27Now, Matthews says they will be aiming to recover ahead of the next match on Sunday in Harare.
01:33Going into our few rest days now that we've got coming up, I think it's just an opportunity to kind
01:38of reset, refocus.
01:39The sun was pretty hot today, so it certainly took a lot.
01:42I think all the players with the 400 overs being played pretty much, or almost.
01:48So, yeah, it looks like a better recovery tomorrow.
01:51And then if we do need to get to the training ground the following day to sharpen up on any
01:57skills, that would be the case with it.
01:59So, do you have a 46 sport?
