00:41And I think that's an unfortunate, it should be perhaps Britain's least loved birds.
00:46Is it because people are jealous, they have a nice view of the sea, they live on the beach?
00:50No, according to reports, it's because they're noisy, they're aggressive,
00:53they're frequently taken to terrorising holidaymakers by dive-bombing and taking ice creams
00:59and pasties from their hands.
01:01I remember once standing on a beach, it's the most beautiful place on earth, I think,
01:07a place called Sanibel Island, often the Gulf of Mexico,
01:12and the whole beach is made of crushed shells, seashells, beautiful.
01:17And I stood there, and the seagulls literally were flying around my head.
01:22It was extraordinary.

01:25Any unfortunate incidents with seagulls?
01:27No, I love birds, actually.
01:29I went to Bali over the summer, and there was this place called Bali Bird Park,
01:33and the birds can kind of fly free, and they can go on your arm, you can feed them apples,
01:37and I had a cockatoo on my head, a parrot upside down, and a hornbill on each arm.
01:42It's an absolutely amazing place, and there's pelicans wandering around, flamingos, it was amazing.

02:40and the shark had sort of swam past me,
02:44and luckily it had the bait in its mouth rather than my hand when it went past me.
