00:18they are poorly coached. Line stinks. Receivers can't catch. Herbert can't complete the forward
00:24pass. Mike McDaniels running the offense into the ground. They missed Jesse Minner on defense.
00:30And the Raiders just marched into the Chargers house and urinated on the carpet.
00:36Don't stop. Get me coming, baby. Don't stop.
00:43Breaking news this afternoon. Jackson Dart's knee injury initially thought to be just a sprained MCL.
00:52Worse than initially thought. And it could require season-ending knee surgery.
01:00Devastating. Brutal. You can't make this up. No! No! If you're a Giants fan, you are just in a state
01:09of disbelief. You are broken darted as your quarterback could miss the rest of the season.
01:16And last night, it was all the reports that this could just be a knee sprain. It could be four
01:22to
01:22six weeks. And Jackson Dart's going to be fine. And he'll be ready at some point in the middle of
01:28the season.
01:28That was not the case. And this is a killer. This was a crusher. This was as bad as it
01:37gets in terms of
01:39news on the New York football Giants. I mean, Jackson Dart? How is this even possible? If you're a Giants
01:46fan,
01:47you have watched this team ever since they said goodbye to Tom Coughlin. Just have four terrible
01:54coaches. Bad quarterback play. No direction. They're aesthetically atrocious. Finally, you get your
02:02quarterback. Finally, you get Malik Nabors on the field with him. Finally, you get your head coach.
02:08Offseason is filled with toughness and attitude. John Harbaugh's team, the hire was absolutely perfect.
02:14You beat the stuffing out of the Dallas Cowboys, your rival at home. You pound them in the fourth
02:23quarter. And now this? Why? Why, sports gods? Why is Jackson Dart injured like this? You can't make
02:33this up. Why do the Giants fans, why can't they have nice things? I mean, this is crazy. And this
02:41is a
02:41killer not only for 2026, it's a killer for the future. Because I want to go back to my take
02:47even
02:47after the Giants beat Dallas. I didn't think the Giants were in the playoffs this year.
02:52Don't they win nine games? Ten games? Take a monster step forward? Change of a culture? John Harbaugh's team?
03:00Dart? Malik Nabors? They've only played 70 snaps together. And this would be the year
03:07they'd make sweet, beautiful music together. They would be incredible. They would take a major
03:13step forward. The Giants would get rid of all the bad from prior regimes. And John Harbaugh and
03:20Jackson Dart, with a great offensive coaching staff, they would be ready to take a major leap
03:27in 2027. And now, this. Ugh. I mean, if you're a Giants fan, you feel like you want to throw
03:34up.
03:35I mean, this takes your sports soul and just absolutely smashes it to smithereens. If you
03:42know a Giants fan, reach out. Give them a hug. This is as bad as it gets. Considering where the
03:49Giants were after the Dallas game. Jackson Dart looked amazing. The vibes going into L.A.
03:56were high. Real opportunity to compete with the Big Bad Rams. Beat the Big Bad Rams. No
04:01Miles Garrett. No Puka Nakua. And then Dart gets crunched on the first drive. This is unfathomable.
04:09Unfathomable. And again, it's about 2026, but it's also about 2027. Because Dart was supposed
04:15to learn and get better and how to stay healthy and when to get out of bounds and understand
04:20the playbook and just develop in year number two. And now, there's no year two! If he has
04:26season-ending knee surgery, then it's going to be, when is he going to be healthy? Is he
04:30100%? Will he bounce back? Will he have the same athleticism? Can he get on the same page
04:36with Malik Neighbors? This is nightmare fuel. This is as bad as it gets. This is the worst possible
04:44scenario for 2026 and beyond. I'm just, I'm sick for Giants fans. Sick. Now, Jameis Winston
04:51is obviously going to be the quarterback. And last night, he could not hit the broad side
04:55of a barn. And I think Jameis is, you know, one of the better backup quarterbacks in the
05:00NFL. You know, obviously, has a golden arm. Sometimes throws it to the wrong team. Last night,
05:05he was wildly inaccurate. I mean, this pick right here to McDuffie was right in his hands.
05:0911 to 27 is bad. Frankly, it felt even worse. You look at the schedule, look, there is a break
05:16for the Giants, obviously. And they're going to have to recover from this breaking news with
05:21Jackson Dard. You know, Tennessee is obviously a team that Jameis Winston and the Giants could
05:26beat. Arizona, the same. Washington, with Jaden Daniels' injury, the same as well. So, I'm
05:33not going to sit here and say, well, the Giants are never going to win again. They could still
05:38be four and one after their first five games. But in terms of big picture, in terms of making
05:46the playoffs, that's not going to happen. But in terms of most especially Harbaugh and Dart
05:52together as a head coach, quarterback tandem, just makes you sick. Absolutely, positively brutal
06:01if you're a fan of the New York football Giants. On the Rams side of things, Sean McVay was in
06:07good
06:07spirits and also self-deprecating after the bounce-back win. You know, sometimes you win,
06:12sometimes you learn. And, you know, sometimes you have a dumbass coach that, you know, makes travel
06:17plans that put you in a bad spot. So, there you go. That's some drama. Thank you. Everyone can laugh
06:23now after what transpired for the L.A. Rams. And let me tell you something. The Rams are back.
06:31Simple as that. And the Rams, by the way, left some points on the field. And, yes, Jackson Dart
06:36got hurt. And, seemingly, every key giant did during the course of that game. Everything we said about
06:42the Rams before the season started, the Rams officially are back. There was no Puka Nakua last
06:49night. He was out with an injury. Miles Garrett had the surgery. He's on injury reserve, going to miss
06:55at least three more games. And it didn't even matter. And, sure, again, backup quarterback comes in,
07:02didn't matter. Sean McVay had this team focused. And we said the Rams were going to win this game by
07:07by double digits. And Aaron Donald made his return. And he was absolutely shot out of a cannon.
07:13And you heard Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay after the game say that when Donald took the field,
07:19they had the chills, the fans, the great L.A. Rams fans went nuts. And then it was game on.
07:25And,
07:25wow, is it game on for my guy, Devontae Adams. And for my guy, Matthew Stafford. I think we're talking
07:32about Hall of Famer to Hall of Famer, Stafford to Adams connection. And we've talked about this
07:36before. And the way Adams stepped up with no Puka Nakua, man, absolutely a thing of beauty. Eight
07:44catches, 195 yards, insane catches for touchdowns, great connections. I mean, those are like one of
07:51those games we're talking about fly paper hands. And you see this right here? I mean, Devontae Adams is
07:58going to the Hall of Fame. You've got to remember what he did in Green Bay and obviously Vegas and
08:02what he's done now the last year and change with the L.A. Rams. And I just, I think the
08:07world of
08:08Matthew Stafford, 327 yards, four touchdowns, back to his MVP form. And I referenced McVay.
08:16Obviously did a great job. McVay did getting everyone on the same page. And one of the reasons why I
08:21love
08:21the Rams this year on offense, it's not just Stafford. It's not just Devontae Adams. It's not
08:28just Nakua when he's healthy. We've talked about this even after they got destroyed against San
08:32Francisco. Offensive line played well. They've got a real two-headed monster at the running back
08:37position with Williams and Corum. And both of them were excellent last night against the Giants.
08:44McVay loves his tight ends. He's talked to me about that on numerous occasions. So the 12 personnel,
08:49the 13 personnel last night, a lot of tight ends on the field. And that's great. And the defense,
08:55I know it turned out to be against the backup quarterback. And obviously there's no Miles
09:00Garrett, but they did their thing. Trent McDuffie had a pick. Aaron Donald was all over the field.
09:06They stopped the run. They forced turnovers. They made tackles. And Chris Shula did a remarkable job.
09:12Look, Seattle's 2-0 and Mike McDonald is unbelievable as a head coach. And
09:18they're doing special things and they won a Super Bowl last year. Kyle Shanahan made sure that,
09:23and obviously he beat the Rams week one in Australia. Week two, he didn't even give the
09:29Miami Dolphins any signs of life. Just strangled them right from the jump. That's what a great coach,
09:35a great team does against an inferior squad. But this is exactly, and the schedule is tough for the Rams.
09:40They've got the Broncos coming up. They've got the Philadelphia Eagles coming up. They've got the
09:46Bills coming up. But all these teams have to play the Rams. And I still think that the Rams,
09:55most talented team in the NFC. And I still think their upside will be to win that insane,
10:02incredible division and to eventually win the conference and play in the Los Angeles Super Bowl.
10:08So last night was proof that Sean McVay is the best coach in the NFL, not named Andy Reid.
10:14I think it was proof that Matthew Stafford and Devontae Adams still have a lot of gas left in the
10:19tank.
10:20A lot of proof that these guys, they have a lot of pride in the Australia game.
10:25Credit San Francisco. It was a travel nightmare. The game was a nightmare. Everything that they did,
10:30you know, week number one, it was awful and it's in the past.
10:34That is L.A. Rams football in 2026. And if you're a Rams fan, if you bet the Rams preseason,
10:41you got to love everything you saw in Los Angeles last night. And other New York injury news.
10:48Things are not trending well for the return of Aaron Judge after suffering a calf strain.
10:55When asked if Judge will be back for the AL wildcard next week, Aaron Boone had this to say.
11:04I'm not expecting it, but I'm not ruling it out either. With or without him, we're expecting to go
11:11into the series and we know we can beat anyone when we play our game. Here's all I know. Aaron
11:18Boone said
11:19that Aaron Judge is not expected to be in the wildcard series against Boston. That's it. That's it.
11:27And look, can the Yankees beat Boston without Aaron Judge? Sure. Of course. The Red Sox are not a
11:36juggernaut in any way, shape or form. Also, if you're a Red Sox fan and you never like to see
11:41injuries, you're dancing in the streets because the Yankees are a totally different team without
11:45Aaron Judge. This team is juiceless, punchless, rudderless. They can't function. We have a body
11:51of work, including the Yankees getting swept in Boston earlier this year without Aaron Judge.
11:59Now, albeit this would be a Yankee stadium with a wildcard round. And of course, the Yankees
12:03pitching is superb and it's a lead. And obviously you have, you know, Boston native Cam Schlittler
12:09and Garrett Cole and Max Friedman. We go on. The Yankee pitching is amazing. Without Aaron Judge,
12:15they have no offense. Without Aaron Judge, there's nobody to trust. This is why last week on Shine
12:22Time, we made such a massive deal about the Judge injury. Because if he is not healthy, if he's not
12:30available, the Yankees as a team, the Yankees as an offense can't function. I acknowledge it's not
12:38over. But in no universe can I say, well, the Yankees are going to be just fine. Because even
12:43if they beat Boston and they beat them without Aaron Judge, is he going to be ready for the division
12:50round next weekend? Is he going to be ready to play at the level of a three-time American League
12:54MVP?
12:55Is he going to be ready to play like arguably the best right-handed hitter in American League
13:00baseball history? So this injury and the honesty from Boone, I mean, I don't think the Yankees are
13:08making the World Series. And that's a problem because the Yankees should be the team that wins
13:15the American League and faces the Dodgers in the fall classic. Simple as that. And now I feel like
13:22that's going to be some kind of excuse for when Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman fail again in the
13:27playoff. So am I pissed off as a Yankee fan hearing this today? Yes. Because I had high hopes all
13:37year,
13:37all year for the Yankees as long as Judge came back. This injury is a massive setback.
13:43There, maybe you beat Boston, maybe we do, maybe we don't. You know, pitching will definitely,
13:48location and pitching will definitely favor the Yankees. But my goodness, this team can't function,
13:54can't hit, can't work, can't manufacture runs, can't score without Aaron Judge. What a depressing day
14:02as a Yankee fan. Up next, it's time for The Sun Don't Shine. The lowlights of week two in the
14:08NFL.

14:27Oh, you gotta love sports. If you're a fan of the Vegas Raiders, that's it. That is tremendous.
14:34The Raiders are 2-0. And honestly, this is all sorts of awesome. Let's give credit where credit is due
14:43here when it comes to our guy, Clint Kubiak. And I'm allowed to claim Clint Kubiak as my guy
14:49because I said this hire was akin to when the Bears hired Ben Johnson. Clint Kubiak,
14:56a gem. Sensational. A true leader. Phenomenal offensive mind. Love what he did in Seattle.
15:04Love what he did in Minnesota. Love what he did in New Orleans. Love that he's Gary's son. He learned
15:10the right way. And you watch the Raiders play? It's inspiring. And here's the beauty as we show you
15:17pictures of the Raiders from what transpired on Sunday. It was a total team effort. The defense
15:24was sensational. Max Crosby absolutely bloodied Joe Alts and the Chargers. The defense for six
15:33fumbles. Kirk Cousins was on fire. Ashton Genthy ran the ball with authority. Taylor Lindenbaum and
15:43the offensive line was awesome. Clint Kubiak kept the Chargers off balance. And I want to stress this.
15:50With the win. With the 2-0 start. Brock Bowers hasn't even played yet. That is a monster deal.
15:57Because you know when the schedule came out, I said the Raiders are going to win seven to nine games.
16:02And then Genthy got hurt. And Bowers got hurt. And Cousins was the quarterback and not Fernando
16:09Mendoza. And you just felt like, okay, Miami could beat him in week number one. The Chargers would
16:17absolutely beat him in week number two. So I'm not ready to sit here and tell you, well,
16:21the Raiders are making the playoffs. But this, this is awesome. Kirk Cousins throwing for all
16:27these touchdowns. Three or more passing touchdowns in the first two games of the season. Last time a
16:34Raiders quarterback did that, Ken Stabler. That's all you need to know. And I was not a fan of the
16:39Cousins signing. I was not a fan of the Cousins decision. This is incredible. Look at the Raiders
16:44schedule. There is a real shot here that the Raiders are going to be better than anyone
16:50anticipated. Listen, Raiders Saints is one of my favorite games of week number three.
16:56I can't get enough. That's going to be a doozy. The Saints are legit. And by the way, we talked
17:05about this when everyone was healthy, that the Vegas Raiders had a real shot this year to go
17:12three and three in the division. That's what we said after the schedule was released. And that
17:17would include, in theory, a win against the Kansas City Chiefs. So you look at this schedule and there
17:25are certainly winnable games. I'm not here to crown the Vegas Raiders. I'm not telling you the Raiders
17:30are making the playoffs. Raiders are the surprise team. But the coach is unbelievable. Crosby's playing
17:36like vintage Max Crosby. The defense has come together. Lindenbaum changes everything on that
17:42offensive line. I was obsessed with the Gentry draft pick last year, Pete Carroll, and his son,
17:49who should have never gotten the offensive line coach job, ruined Gentry's rookie season.
17:55And we're on a stage right now where we expect Brock Bowers to play coming up this week against
18:02New Orleans Saints. He almost played according to Kubiak in week two against the L.A. Chargers.
18:08I am just obsessed with what I've seen from the Vegas Raiders. This is inspiring. This is energizing.
18:15And listen, Raiders fans have been through it for a very long time. I am super amped. I'm super
18:22pumped. And I just love the energy, the coaching, the fact that everyone's now on the same page,
18:28from Mark Davis to Tom Brady to John Spitek to Clint Kubiak to the players. That hasn't happened
18:35in a minute now for the Vegas Raiders. Raiders are 2-0. And it's not about the competition or
18:40the opposition. It's about what the Raiders have done with their new head coach. Man,
18:46if you're a Raiders fan, for the first time in a long time, you've got to love sports.
18:50There's another team in the fields going up against the Raiders on Sunday.
18:54And it's time right now for The Sun Don't Shine.
19:02Go back to work. That's all I know how to do. That's all we know how to do. And find
19:08our way,
19:09find the way, and we'll move forward. It's a one-week lead. And it's the only thing I know
19:17I know how to do. Well, we said last week the Chargers should fold the franchise. We said last
19:23week the Chargers should take the team offices and just relocate. Last time they did that,
19:28they went from San Diego to L.A. Now they should go from the offices in L.A., just shift
19:35it to the
19:35Pacific Ocean. Just move right into the old Pacific and see what happens. What a disaster. What a
19:43disgrace. Congrats to the Chargers on making history. They were the biggest loser week one,
19:50biggest loser week two. The Chargers become the first team since the merger, NFL history 1970,
19:59to lose each of their first two games when they were a point spread favorite of six or more.
20:06favored by six or more, and the Chargers lose both games. That is amateur hour. The Chargers become the
20:16first team in NFL history, first team, to start 0-2 with losses to 14 lost teams from the previous
20:26season. Losing to the Arizona Cardinals and the Vegas Raiders. What a disgrace. What an embarrassment.
20:37And here's the deal if you're a Chargers fan. The team stinks. The offensive line was dreadful.
20:45The receivers are dreadful. Justin Herbert, and I'll hold myself accountable here, he's a myth.
20:52I mean, I keep saying he's a quarterback lab guy. Going to the lab, design a quarterback. He'd come
20:57out with Justin Herbert. The arm, the accuracy, the athleticism, the body type, Madison Beer,
21:03the whole thing. Justin Herbert, first two weeks of the season has been terrible, which might mean
21:07he's in playoff form. I don't know. I mean, Joe Alt got abused by the Raiders. They don't have anyone
21:14who could catch a cold. How about the Raiders, the fact that they had 16 unanswered second-half
21:19points. And all of Raider Nation went nuts in the Chargers' house. The Chargers, yet again,
21:28were on the road at home because they're not an L.A. team. And the Raiders, who used to play
21:35in Los
21:35Angeles, have more of a stranglehold in L.A. than the Chargers do. And I want you to take a
21:43look
21:43at the Chargers' schedule. Like, I want you to just read it and weep. They are 0-2. They lost
21:51by double digits to the Cardinals and the Raiders. You heard of Where's Waldo? Where's the win?
22:01No, I'm serious. When are they going to win a game? At Buffalo this week? At Seattle? Denver? At Kansas
22:09City? Probably find a way to lose on the bye week. The Rams? The Texans? The Ravens in Baltimore?
22:17Are they going to finally get a win against the Jets? Which, by the way, a lot of New Yorkers
22:22in Los Angeles and Southern California, that might sound like a Jet home game. All right,
22:27so let's say they beat the Jets. Can they beat New England? At Tampa? Raiders? Niners? I mean,
22:35they might go into the Mike McDaniel revenge game. And boy, Mike McDaniel ruined the Dolphins. He's
22:42ruining the Chargers on offense. They might be a 1-2-3 win team going into that game. What a
22:49fiasco.

23:45have been correct. But there was Aaron Glenn. Now, before you listen to this, I want to point out
23:53that this sound is not from after the game on Sunday when he initially defended his tactics.
23:58This is Monday after he had time to think about everything and watch the tape.
24:04And when we have the punter at the logo, man, we don't want to put ourselves in a situation where
24:09we get our guys in a backed up situation. And I know that we're talking about, man, getting our
24:16offense going in that situation. But the thing is, they had two timeouts also. And if you put yourself
24:21in a backed up situation and things don't go as planned, I think you're giving the other team
24:25an opportunity to go down there and be able to make a play. So I just felt like that was
24:30the
24:30right decision to do at that point. And we actually wanted to play for overtime when it came to that.
24:36I think it was a third and two. We ran the ball and we missed it. Got to a fourth
24:39and one.
24:40I think we were at the logo at that time. And man, we were going to try to win the
24:44game.
24:44And listen, I do not regret that decision that one bit. You know, you just got to give hats off
24:51to those guys. They made it play. When Aaron Glenn gets fired, we will not only talk about
24:58the end of the game against the Packers. We will talk about that soundbite right there.
25:06First of all, the game was over. Like sometimes you do what I do for a living and you say,
25:11man, I nailed that or I got that one wrong. Everything that we said that was going to
25:16happen in the Jets Packers game happened. If I was coaching the Jets, they would have won the game.
25:23There's no other way to phrase it. The game was over. And the fact that Aaron Glenn completely
25:29bungled the end of that game from a clock management, time management perspective,
25:35that's why there's no hope with someone like Aaron Glenn. And the tragedy in the sports context is
25:42the Jets should be 2-0 and they should be able to beat Detroit's coming up in week three. And
25:49Caleb
25:49Williams, who knows if he's going to be there in week four. Then they have the Browns at home in
25:54week five. And the tragedy is from a sports context, Aaron Glenn's defense has been fantastic
26:01and he's running the defense. The Jets were up by double digits against the Packers. The Packers
26:07aren't any good. Jordan Love was terrible. The lack of talent for Green Bay was on display.
26:13The Jets were the better team. Got to start winning some of these games because if he doesn't and if
26:20he's the reason why, then they're going to have to bring in a new head coach, an offensive-minded head
26:25coach to steer the ship for 2027. The New York Jets should have won this game by double digits.
26:32Okay. Listen, they covered the spread. I don't give a damn. It's not about, you know, being close.
26:38It's about winning games and there's no excuse. And I said 2-0 start. Okay. Aaron Glenn ruined that.
26:46I also said, doing the schedule when it came out and stressing it before the season,
26:52the Jets would start the campaign 3-2. That was my preseason prediction. I had them losing
26:58against Detroit. That's the week three game. Losing against Chicago. That's week four.
27:04And beating the Browns, by the way. No one wants to talk about it because he's the worst person.
27:08Deshaun Watson looked great to run an upset special that was for Cleveland going up against
27:13Tampa Bay. With all that said, 3-2. That's, I'm not changing my tune. And if Aaron Glenn can't get
27:22the New York Jets to a, they're 1-1 now. They should be 2-0. If he can't get them
27:27to 3-2,
27:29he's facing the Lions. He used to work for the Lions. He used to work for Dan Campbell. He ran
27:34their
27:35defense. He knows all about their offensive players. Find a way to win the game. I mean,
27:40Aaron Glenn doesn't know how to coach a game. Neither does Dan Campbell. Lions look awful on
27:45defense. Find some mismatches and go to work. We'll see if Caleb Williams plays in week four.
27:50Realistic chance he doesn't. Find a way to get a win. Cleveland at home. Find a way to get a
27:56win.
27:56I am not going to lower my expectations for the Jets because Aaron Glenn can't coach his way out of
28:03a
28:03paper bag. I refuse to do it. Refuse. That was a mind-numbing defeats by the Jets. The Packers did
28:12not beat the Jets. Aaron Glenn beat the Jets. The Steelers offense stinks. They produced one touchdown
28:19to go along with one win and one loss through two weeks. Is there already friction between Aaron
28:25Rodgers and Mike McCarthy? The best teams are player-led teams. So we've got to keep taking the
28:31ownership. And in a game like today where there wasn't a lot of flow to it, we need to be
28:35better.
28:36And it starts with me at, like, making sure Mike knows what's working, what's not working. Our coaches
28:42know. And so we can call stuff that, you know, we feel like has a better chance. I love Aaron
28:49Rodgers.
28:49And, you know, his passive-aggressive is aggressive, right? I mean, it's amazing. I need to do a better
28:56job. It's on me making sure Mike knows what's working and what's not working. Perfect. Here's
29:03the deal. And I was locked in on a ton of this game with Pittsburgh and with the New England
29:09Patriots. The Steelers offense is offensive. And the number one villain is DK Metcalf. The problem
29:16is he can't catch the football. That's an issue when it's literally your job. This is why we said
29:23the trade was terrible, the contract was terrible, and DK Metcalf wasn't a top-20 wide receiver
29:28because he's not reliable and he's not consistent and he's certainly not dominant on a week-in,
29:34week-out basis. And it's easy to bang on Aaron Rodgers or talk about Rodgers and Mike McCarthy
29:40and lack of a run game. The number one villain is DK Metcalf. If Metcalf caught the balls that were
29:45thrown right at him, caught those passes on third down, Boswell hits the field goal,
29:50we might have had a different result, as atrocious as the offense has been. But make no mistake,
29:56DK deserves blame. They can't run the ball lick right now. Offensive line has been terrible.
30:02Rodgers has been terrible. When he got smacked, I thought my guy was going to retire on the spot.
30:07I mean, it was pretty bad. You know, just everything on offense is dreadful. I'd not expect this.
30:13Mike McCarthy, brilliant offensive minds. I was just absolutely stunned. Now, he can call the plays,
30:21obviously. He can't catch the ball. He can't block, you know, can't run the ball. I mean,
30:27the running backs have been non-existent. This is a 30th ranked offense. The Pittsburgh Steelers in the
30:34first two weeks of the season. And they've got Cincinnati coming up this week. Not going to get
30:40better this week. Might not get better anytime soon. Might not get better this year. I loved the
30:46Steelers before the season started. So far, when it comes to the defense, I've been right. When it comes
30:52to the offense, I haven't even been in the ballpark. And you can tell just on those comments. We can
30:58talk
30:58about aggressive, aggressive, passive aggressive. Aaron Rodgers is already, his pissed off meter is
31:05off the charts. And I don't blame him. So something's got to change. I don't necessarily think this is
31:12going to be the week that we see any positive change for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Maybe the worst part
31:17of Sunday, we're seeing the dislocated elbows suffered by Jaden Daniels. Same injuries sustained in
31:22week nine last season. He returned in week 14. But after re-injuring the elbow in that contest,
31:28the commanders shut him down for the final four games of the campaign. That was brutal to watch.
31:34Tom Brady was all of us when he said, oh bleep on the Fox broadcast because, and I don't blame
31:42Tom at all
31:43because that thing went in a direction it was not supposed to. I feel terrible for Jaden Daniels.
31:49And it's just miserable because he's such a special player who was doing special things,
31:57albeit in losses. And the Washington season is over. The only chance they had was Jaden Daniels
32:07working his magic on the field. And he is a magical, majestic, unbelievable ball player. Dan Quinn is
32:13terrible. Defense is terrible. Offensive line is not NFL caliber. It's terrible. Skilled position
32:20players are terrible. So this, this was a tough one because Jaden Daniels is just so mesmerizing,
32:27especially when he has the right pieces and parts around him. That was absolutely brutal.
32:33Then of course, we have the injury suffered by the only man taken ahead of Daniels in the 2024 draft,
32:39Caleb Williams. At first watching this one live seemed like it could be dire. I mean,
32:46Caleb Williams carted off in tears, but now it's a hamstring. He's week to week. In fact,
32:55Ben Johnson refused to even rule him out for Monday night going up against the Philadelphia Eagles. Now,
33:02Ben Johnson did say that when you look at the practice schedule this week, Caleb will not practice.
33:10So I think that Tyson Bagent will be on their center when the Chicago Bears take on the Philadelphia
33:17Eagles this week on Monday night football. So I feel sick seeing this because Caleb Williams
33:25is just mesmerizing to watch incredible to watch. He's so great for Bears fans who haven't had a
33:33quarterback like this in their entire history. Now we knew 59 points was never going to be duplicated.
33:40And obviously the Vikings defense is terrific. And the weather was just terrible in Chicago on,
33:46Sunday. But now you have to prep for life, perhaps without Caleb Williams. So you look at the schedule
33:55and Tyson Bagent did not exactly dazzle coming in for Caleb, but that was a tough spot. Listen,
34:02the Philadelphia Eagles have not exactly dazzled. And I'll be honest with you,
34:09ebb and flow of that Philly Titans game. There was a real shot Philly was going to lose. Give Jalen
34:15Hurts all the credit in the world for winning that game. But right now the Philly line play both
34:21sides is terrible. You know, Devontae Smith looks great, but you know, it's Jalen Hurts has been
34:28able to pull a couple of rabbits out of the all hats. You know, can they beat Philly without Caleb
34:33Williams? Won't be easy. I'm not going to rule it out. I think they do have the gift of the
34:40schedule
34:40with Philly. The Jets, the Packers are not a good football team. Everyone's beating the Atlanta
34:46Falcons. Michael Penix Jr. does return this week and not a moment too soon. But listen, I want Caleb
34:52Williams back for the Bears fans. I want him back for me, for you, for the football fan. He has
34:58been
34:58Superman. He's been unbelievable. He's been remarkable. Seeing him go down was painful for him, painful for
35:06Bears fans, painful for anyone who loves sports. Man, I need Caleb Williams back in the lineup. ASAP.
35:14Coming up, Dak Prescott broke Tony Romo's all-time Cowboys passing touchdown record on Sunday,
35:19but was it enough to make him one of my guys? My top five performances in week two in the

35:34Ah, yes. It is considered the most prestigious weekly award in the National Football League.
35:42Shines, guys. Who deserves to be recognized as one of my guys after a week in the NFL? Here are
35:51my guys
35:51for week number two. Starting at number five. My guy, Brian Flores, the outstanding defensive coordinator
35:57for the Minnesota Vikings. He blitzed. He peppered Caleb Williams with pressure. And Caleb Williams,
36:04even before he got injured, did absolutely nothing in this game. And because of the Caleb injury,
36:10I don't want this, this unbelievable on-the-road defensive performance to go without being noticed.
36:18Flores is a gem. He was great as a Dolphins head coach, should have never been fired. He should be
36:25a head coach again in the National Football League. He's a New York City native. He's got New York City
36:30toughness. He absolutely blitzed the hell out of Caleb. And look at what the Bears offense did week one
36:39versus what they did against the Vikings defense. Coordinated and led by my guy, Brian Flores.
36:46Number four, my guy, Dak Prescott. This is one of the easiest predictions in the history of Shine Time.
36:53Dak Prescott, four touchdowns. Dak Prescott, unbelievable. Dak Prescott, my guy, Dak Prescott,
36:59does an unbelievable job at home in the division. That's what you call taking care of business.
37:06Two for four touchdowns, two to CeeDee Lamb. Did an excellent job in his accuracy.
37:11These were flawless, dominant, my game, MVP caliber numbers. 26 to 31 for Dak Prescott.
37:19My guy, Dak Prescott. And you know what? I think he's going to be in position to match Lamar Jackson
37:26or beat Lamar Jackson coming up in week three when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Baltimore Ravens
37:34in Brazil. Ravens will enter that one coming off a loss thanks to my guy, Tyler Shook.
37:39Are you kidding me? This was so tough, so clutch again from my guy, Shook. Watching him work his magic
37:48in the fourth quarter, throwing the ball, sneaking it into the end zone. Just absolutely incredible.
37:55The stats were great, but it was the feel, the energy, the comeback ability. Look, we told you that my
38:03guy,
38:03Tyler Shook, was going to lead the Saints to a division title. He is superb. Look at these numbers.
38:10Two total touchdowns, no interceptions, phenomenal completion percentage. Remember, Shook came back
38:16the week before as well in Detroit against the Lions. Could have won that game, should have won that game.
38:22Loved Kellen Moore going for two. That, by the way, is a great example of why, even if you don't
38:26make it,
38:26if you're the Saints, you go for two in week one. Inspires and instills confidence in the entire team
38:31going into Baltimore. They were down double digits, never-say-die attitude. The Saints have a big-time
38:38coach and a big-time quarterback, my guy, Tyler Shook. Number two, my guy, Patrick Mahomes. I mean,
38:45watching Patty do his thing on Sunday night was unbelievable. I had to laugh when the Colts
38:51absolutely screwed it up in overtime because, really, you're going to give my guy, Patrick
38:56Mahomes, who's never lost in overtime, an opportunity to get the ball and be in position
39:01to win the game? How dumb could you be? But if you give Patrick Mahomes an inch, he's going
39:07to take a yard. It's who he is. It's what he does. I mean, look at the nuggets of domination
39:11on the screen. 382 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions, and this was a historic night
39:18at the office for our guy, my guy, Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs are 2-0 and they haven't
39:26even gotten started yet. I mean, give my guy Andy Reid credits, give my guy Travis Kelsey
39:31credit, give my guy Kenneth Walker III credit, but how about that from my guy Patrick Mahomes
39:37and my number one guy from this week in the NFL, my guy Jackson Smith and Jigba. This guy
39:44is unbelievable. And listen, I'm guilty. And I mean it when I say Justin Jefferson is the
39:52best wide receiver in the NFL. And we talk about Jefferson and Chase, and we did a list
39:56of best receivers in the NFL. And, you know, we had Jackson Smith and Jigba third on the list
40:03going into the season. JSN is unbelievable. Three touchdowns, nine catches, 155 receiving
40:12yards in Arizona. Cardinals defense that stoned the Chargers the week before. And we're talking
40:20about Drew Locke as his quarterback. My guy Jackson Smith and Jigba is a superstar superstar.
40:27He deserves to be recognized. And how about the incredible job by Smith and Jigba, Mike McDonald.
40:35This team goes on the road. They're facing Arizona. They're buttoned up. They're buckled up. They deal
40:42with injury at the quarterback position without Sam Darnold. I am just obsessed here with my guy,
40:48Jackson Smith and Jigba. Up next, Ole Miss avenged the departure of Lane Kiffin on Sunday night in Oxford
40:55and moved up to fourth in the AP poll. So, how are they underdogs against Florida this week?

41:03Calls him Houdini plays. You know, you scheme him up and then he just makes plays. Why he is what
41:10he is.
41:10You know? He's the most dynamic player in college football. And he finished last year that way.
41:17You heard it from Lane Kiffin himself. Trinidad Chambliss was absolutely brilliant on Saturday
41:24nights. I've said it before and I'll say it again. He is the best quarterback in college football.
41:33We get so wrapped into where's someone going to go in the NFL draft that sometimes you take your eye
41:41off the ball. You just got to enjoy the moment. We can do the draft if you want. We can
41:46get into
41:46the draft. I just want to talk about Trinidad Chambliss. He is a college football superstar.
41:53He is the best quarterback in college football. And I love the way he played going up against his
42:01former coach. Absolutely remarkable. And of course, Kiffin after the game throwing all sorts of shade
42:08and saying, well, they got there early. You have to wait for me to leave to do that. Please.
42:14What I love was the way Chambliss started this game. Then when LSU made it more of a game,
42:19Chambliss played his best when it mattered the most. Mississippi moved all the way up to fourth
42:24in the AP poll. This Saturday, they head to Gainesville, where, as of this taping, they are
42:30three and a half point dogs against the 21st ranked Florida Gators. And honestly, I love John
42:37Sumrall what he said, where he's like, whoa, we shouldn't be favored against these guys.
42:43That's not right. He wants the underdog role. By the way, do I think Ole Miss is going to look
42:49at that point spread and say that's disrespect? By the way, for the sake of conversation and
42:54for the record, I get it in terms of Vegas and why they set the line at minus three and
42:59a half, because Florida's good. Sumrall's great. He's a phenomenal, phenomenal head coach.
43:04He did a great job at Tulane. That was an inspired hire. Tough place to play. And the human nature
43:10letdown game going from the Lane Kiffin revenge game at home to now Florida on the road. So,
43:17listen, Ole Miss is going to have to play its best in order to beat Florida. I think that's fair.
43:22In a related story, it's not even about Ole Miss. It's about Chambliss. I'll bring it full circle.
43:28Of course, he finds a way as the best quarterback in college football to go on the road and beat
43:34Florida. But wait, there's more.
43:39Yeah, you know, it feels like early on in 2021 when, you know, you're trying to, you know,
43:46we got a really good defense and try to stay in front of the sticks, not turn the ball over,
43:53kick field goals. You know, you put points on the board, we're going to win with our defense.
43:56Love that soundbite and love that take from Joe Burrow. We're going to win with our defense.
44:03The Cincinnati Bengals win over the Texans was the most impressive win of week number two.
44:11The complete nature of that win for the Cincinnati Bengals, winning that game on defense first and
44:19foremost, absolutely shutting down and stoning the offense for the Houston Texans. That was
44:29impressive. That matters big picture for Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals and the amazing
44:35Bengals fans. The defense is different. We said it's all offseason. The way that sexy Dexter Lawrence
44:42adds and changes everything to that defense, the way they dealt with the offseason, trading for Lawrence,
44:49giving up a high first round pick, spending money all over the defense, signing players from,
44:56you know, guys who have won Super Bowls before, from the Chiefs, from the Seahawks,
45:01getting an All-Pro in Lawrence. That changes everything. And then it had to work. And listen,
45:09I love the Bengals preseason. I have them, you know, going to championship Sunday. I picked the
45:15Texans to win and I was dead wrong on Sunday afternoon because Joe Burrow had the back injury.
45:20And going up against the Texans defense, I was concerned. So what does Burrow do?
45:25Burrow and Chase making unbelievable sweet music together on those third downs and a couple of
45:32majestic touchdowns and Chase able to keep the feet in. I mean, it's a thing of beauty. And this is
45:38the
45:38case. And everyone knows this, right? You know, these are not your older brothers, Cincinnati Bengals.
45:43The Bengals always, under Zach Taylor, start slow. The fact that they're 2-0 and how they got to 2
45:50-0,
45:51this is a big deal. This is exactly what we thought the Bengals were going to look like before the
45:57season started. I thought that their win was unbelievable. It was also inspiring. And everyone
46:05in the AFC, I don't care who you are, even if you like another team more or better, like I
46:10do with
46:10the Buffalo Bills. I don't care if you're the Bills. I don't care if you're the Chiefs. I don't care
46:15if
46:15you're anyone else. Every single team in the AFC needs to take notes of what the Bengals have
