00:00You know, you mentioned the Bengals.
00:01They got the Steelers this weekend,
00:03and maybe we'll learn a little bit more about the Bengals.
00:06You know, I mean, this Bengals team, I mean, what did they do?
00:09They beat the Buccaneers,
00:09and they took out the Texans this last week here.
00:12So, I mean, are we going to find out a little bit more about them
00:15and maybe even a little bit more about Mike McCarthy
00:17and Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh?
00:21I absolutely hated what Aaron Rodgers said after the loss last week.
00:25This offense looked just diabolical against a good Patriots defense,
00:29but the Patriots absolutely wiped the floor with this Steelers team.
00:32Mike Tomlin talked about it on Sunday Night Football's broadcast
00:35that this team has nothing to hang their hat on offensively.
00:38They can't run the football.
00:39Aaron Rodgers looks really inefficient.
00:41He looks old.
00:42They have no protection on the offensive line,
00:44and what happens, you turn the ball over,
00:47and then you get pumped in a game where you were kind of in it
00:49for a little while.
00:50So this is a really interesting spot where I kind of want to take
00:52the road favorite, which is always gross,
00:55especially in an AFC North divisional matchup,
00:58but I'm starting to kind of buy into the Bengals, man.
01:00This defense was really good to start the season,
01:02which is what we were looking for with everything that they brought in
01:06in the offseason.
01:06Dexter Lawrence coming to town.
01:08This defense looks like they can actually play serviceable football,
01:10and we know what Joe Burrow can do when healthy,
01:12and Jamar Chase, and T. Higgins, and those guys.
01:14So I think that the Steelers are bad,
01:17and this is one of those games where you look at it and go,
01:19maybe it gets a little nasty because it's a divisional game.
01:21Maybe they play with some pride at home,
01:23and they possibly cover the number.
01:25But to me, sometimes, Dan, you know, you watch these games,
01:27and you look at the teams on paper, and you just watch them play,
01:30and this Steelers team just doesn't look very good.
01:32They just don't look like they know what they're doing.
01:34They don't look passionate.
01:35And at this particular point of the season,
01:36if you can't get up to play a football game right now in September
01:39when your body's not hurting, I don't want to back that team.
01:41So I think on paper the Bengals should cover the spread here,
01:44and I think I might end up taking them by the end of the week.
01:48Again, that AFC North divisional matchup is really scary to me.
01:51So I like the Bengals a lot in this spot,
01:53and I think I'll be looking at them later this week.
01:55I think Al Golden has done a great job being the D coordinator there
01:58in Cincinnati, and he really has.
02:00And like you said, with them getting Dexter Lawrence in the middle,
02:03it got a fire hydrant in the middle there.
