00:00In this video I will show you how to add music to YouTube Shorts on PC.

00:23Now in order to do this the first thing you're going to want to do is upload your YouTube

00:27Shorts to YouTube and once you've done that you want to come across to YouTube click onto your

00:32profile icon in the top right hand corner and from this menu that comes up you want to come and

00:36click

00:36onto YouTube Studio. So once you're on your studio what you want to do is come over to the left

00:42hand

00:42side click onto content and once you've done that you want to come up to the top and click onto

00:48Shorts.

00:49So what that's going to do is take you across to all your YouTube Shorts and what you want to

00:53do is

00:54just find the short that you want to add any musical sounds to. So I'm going to use this one

00:58as an example

00:59and all you want to do is click onto the Shorts title which is going to take you to a

01:03screen like this.

01:05From here come over to the menu on the left hand side and click onto editor and once you're on

01:10the

01:10editor screen you can see there's an option here to add audio. So if you actually give that a click

01:15what

01:16it's going to do is load up the YouTube audio library which you can scroll through and select a track

01:22to

01:22use in your YouTube Short. If you want to preview the track just simply click the play button to the

01:27left hand side and if you want to add this to your Short click onto the plus button to add

01:32this to

01:33your Short. Once it's been added you can of course adjust this further in the timeline so you can

01:37minimize it or choose when you want it to play and start and stop playing and things like that and

01:41when

01:42you're happy with your changes make sure to come and click the save button in the top right hand corner

01:46which is going to save and add that music to your YouTube Short. So that's how to add music to
