00:00In this video, I will show you how to change your YouTube channel name in YouTube Studio.
00:06So to do this, what you want to do is head over to youtube.com, log into your account,
00:11and once you've done that, you want to come and click onto your profile icon up in the top right
00:15hand corner. From here, from this menu, you want to come and click to go into your YouTube Studio,
00:20and once you're in your studio, if you come over to the menu on the left hand side,
00:24and from here, you want to come down and click onto customization. Once you're on the customization
00:28page, scroll down a bit, and you're going to see the section to change your channel name. Just note
00:33that changes made to your name and picture are visible only on YouTube and not over Google
00:38services, and you can change your name twice in 14 days. So you can see at the moment, my channel
00:43name for this one is called TechTutor, and what I'm going to do is just change this to TechTutor
00:49YouTube. Once you've made any changes, make sure to come and click the publish button in the top
00:53right hand corner, and what that's going to do is apply your changes. You can see it's actually
00:58updated straight away. So if I click on to go to channel, you'll now see when I go to my
01:02channel that my name has now been updated. So that is how to change YouTube channel name
