00:06So if you want to save a YouTube Short to watch later, and whether you're using a computer,
00:10Android phone or iPhone, this guide covers the options available for saving YouTube Shorts
00:15so you can access them when you need them.
00:17Before we get started, make sure to leave a like on the video, comment below and subscribe
00:21to the channel for more YouTube and easy tech guides.
00:25Now, to get started, of course, the first thing you're going to want to do is find the
00:28short that you want to download.
00:30So if you are a creator and you want to download one of your own shorts, I'll be showing you
00:34how to do that.
00:35And I'll also be showing you how to download other people's shorts as well.
00:38Now to download your own shorts, what you want to do is come across to YouTube and make sure
00:43you're logged into your account.
00:44Then what you can do is come up to the top right hand corner, click onto your profile icon.
00:49And from this menu that comes up, you want to come across to your YouTube studio.
00:53Once you're in your studio, what you need to do is come over to the menu on the left hand
00:57side and click onto content.
01:00Once you're in the content screen, come up to the top and click onto shorts.
01:04And this way you can find all your YouTube shorts.
01:07To download any of these, just simply hover over the short that you want to download.
01:11So let's take this one, how to delete X accounts.
01:13You're going to see some icons come up and what you want to do is click onto the three
01:17dots here where it says options.
01:20Then what you need to do on this menu that comes up is come and click onto download.
01:23And what that's going to do is download that YouTube short onto your computer.
01:27You can then open up your file explorer and it should be in your downloads folder.
01:31And that's how to download your own YouTube shorts.
01:34Now, if you want to download other people's shorts, then if you come across to YouTube and
01:38what I'm going to do is just go onto shorts.
01:41So we're just going to scroll through and find a short that we want to download.
01:44So let's take this one for example, and what you're going to want to do is click the share
01:49button next to the short.
01:50And then what you need to do is copy the address down here.
01:54If you're on a mobile device, what you want to do after doing this is open up an internet
01:58browser like Safari or Chrome.
02:00And then what you can do is just paste this into the tab at the top.
02:04Once you've done that, you want to replace shorts with video.
02:08So you can see in the address box, it says shorts.
02:09If you type video and then hit enter or press search, and it's going to basically reload
02:15the page, but you can see it's in the standard YouTube format.
02:18Now, once you've done that, if you scroll down underneath the video,
02:21you should see a download button.
02:23If not, you can click the three dots here and you should find the download button.
02:27Give that a click.
02:27And what that's going to do is download this onto your computer.
02:30Just know you do need YouTube premium to do this, but to find your downloaded shorts,
02:35just come and click onto the three lines in the top left hand corner.
02:37And from here, you want to scroll down to the use section where you should find downloads.
02:42Give that a click and you should find all your downloaded shorts here.
02:46So that is how to download YouTube shorts.
02:48Make sure to like comment and subscribe for more YouTube and simple tech tutorials.
02:53And with that being said, I will see you in the next video.
