00:00In this video, I will show you how to change your handle on YouTube. To get started, head over to
00:06YouTube and make sure you're logged into your account. Once you've done that, what you want
00:10to do is come and click onto your profile icon up here in the top right hand corner. And from
00:15this menu that comes up, you want to come down and click to go to your YouTube studio. Now,
00:20once you're in your studio, come over to the menu on the left hand side and click onto the
00:24customization button. And from here, if you scroll down slightly, you're going to see the option
00:29for handle, which way can come to change your YouTube handle. So this is a unique app name
00:35that helps people find your channel, which is different from your channel name. Just to note
00:39that you can change your handle twice within a 14 day period. And they do hold your previous
00:44handle for 14 days in case you'd like to switch back to your original handle. So you can see
00:49at the moment, my handle is at tech tutor dash YouTube. And what I'm going to do is just add
00:54example onto the end. Now, if you do make any changes, you first want to make sure this is
00:59available. And if the handle is available, you're going to see a tech. And then what you can do is
01:04come up and click publish in the top right hand corner, which is going to save your changes and
