00:17Wednesday, triple-digit railfields stretch from Texas to southern Ohio and West Virginia,
00:21while air temperatures challenging records in places like Evansville, Indiana.
00:24The triple-digit heat is short-lived that far northeast, but Thursday,
00:28Evansville and Louisville are still challenging records. And Texas gets absolutely no relief.
00:33Railfields 100 degrees and higher stretch from Texas into Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama.
00:38By Friday, Atlanta and parts of South Carolina join the triple-digit club.
00:41So is there any relief in sight? In Louisville, highs return to the 80s by Monday and fall below
00:46the historical average by Tuesday. And in Dallas, you should be in the upper 80s this time of year.
00:50And we do get there, but not until Tuesday.
