00:00Sharia law is getting banned. This is a time to celebrate. We're going to go over which states
00:05are banning Sharia law, the kind of nuance and details around that. We're going to go over what
00:09Sharia law actually is, and we're going to look at the future of Sharia law and what we should
00:16expect here in the United States. I'm also going to show you a video of a Sharia law survivor so
00:22we understand how important it is that we do ban Sharia law in the United States. It's so important
00:27that we keep our constitutional rights and that we don't allow this dangerous ideology to take over.
00:33But before we get into it, my name is Cliff Buell. If you're new here, welcome. If you're not new
00:36here,
00:36welcome back. This channel exists to build a believer and reach the lost. If you like Christian
00:40content, make sure to hit that subscribe button and share this video with somebody who would
00:44appreciate it as well. All right, let's take a look at what states have actually essentially banned
00:49Sharia law. So there's 13 states here, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana,
00:55Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Texas.
01:00So specifically looking at some of these states and what they're actually banning,
01:04what is taking place here is pretty interesting. We'll start with Florida because they've got the
01:09strongest one where they explicitly mentioned Sharia law. And Florida is a 2026 law. So this is
01:14relatively recent. It specifically defines religious law to include Sharia law. Courts and agencies cannot
01:20apply religious or foreign law when doing so would violate someone's federal or Florida
01:25constitutional rights. So an example would be a Muslim personally following Sharia regarding prayer,
01:31food, fasting, or marriage customs is allowed, but a tribunal applies a Sharia rule to a divorce
01:35that deprives one spouse of constitutional rights and expects Florida courts to enforce it is not
01:41allowed. South Dakota explicitly covers all religious codes. So South Dakota does not single out Islam.
01:46It says government courts and agencies may not enforce provisions of any religious code. So like
01:51someone asked the state court to enforce that religious code because it is religious law.
01:55They're not going to allow that. So this does apply to Sharia as well as other religious legal codes.
02:00North Carolina and Texas are especially focused on family law. So Sharia law isn't, I guess,
02:05completely banned in that regard, but it focuses, North Carolina focuses heavily on divorce, alimony,
02:10custody, child support, and marital property. In Texas, foreign law protections specifically address
02:14marriage and parent-child relationships. So they wouldn't allow a foreign Sharia custody judgment
02:19where it says that a parent automatically receives fewer rights because of their gender or religion.
02:25Now looking at Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma,
02:30and Tennessee, the greater bulk of the group here, they have broader foreign law models. And so
02:36essentially you could say like a foreign legal system cannot be enforced when applying. It would
02:40deprive someone the rights protected by US or state constitution. My opinion, this is how it should
02:45be. This is very basic. We should not be enforcing religious laws over constitutional rights. And
02:53Sharia law obviously would fall into that. Sharia law is a dangerous ideology. Missouri is interesting
02:57because their law just came into effect August 28th, 2026. So very recent. And it's called the No
03:02Foreign Laws Act. It specifically includes religious laws when invoked as a substitute for state or federal
03:08law within its definition of foreign law. It covers judgments, arbitration, contracts, marriage,
03:13divorce, custody, adoption, and inheritance when fundamental rights are violated. But what's
03:17very interesting about this is one version of this act was called No Sharia Act. But the final version
03:21is the No Foreign Laws Act. Now I want you to listen to this Iranian gentleman who is a Christian
03:26and survived Sharia law. He knows people who didn't survive Sharia law, but he did. So let's hear what
03:32he has to say. We'll get right back to that. But I wanted to let you know that I created
03:35an app
03:35that blocks your distracting apps until you read your Bible. So your phone is no longer an excuse
03:39for you to not put God first every day and get into his word. It starts with a prayer. And
03:42then
03:42you read the Bible. When you're done reading, you check off which book and chapter you've read so
03:46you can track reading the whole Bible. Then you get to unlock those apps. If you think this will
03:50help you download First Light now, check the pinned comment below. I'm a Sharia law survivor from Iran.
03:54And I'm here to tell you this is a dangerous ideology you're allowing in your country. Every country that
03:58is Islamic now, it used to be a Christian country. I mean, we were soft Christians and we allowed these
04:02people to come in, bring their Sharia law into their countries and slowly kill us off left and
04:06right. Let me make it very clear to you. Christianity is a personal relationship with God where it says
04:10render on to Caesars what is Caesars, render on to God what is God. Islam is Sharia law. Deen
04:14Wadawa, religion and states, which is not even compatible with the American thing. And when they, these
04:18people will use Takiyah to lie to you, to manipulate you, because whenever Islam is little, they will
04:22lie to you and tell you they come in peace. This is level one. Level two is what's happening in
04:25UK right
04:26now, where you have two-tier policing, where you have like the blasphemy laws, Islamophobia, racism, all this
04:30nonsense that they talk about. First of all, Islam is not a race. So anytime you criticize Islam, they
04:34will use the race card. But there's all, every country has this disgusting ideology inside their
04:38country, including my own country, Iran, Russia. Islamophobia is another made-up book because they
04:42don't want you to criticize their death cult. That's why they will put that, that's why they push it in
04:46UK, in every country they go to. M103 is in Canada right now. They deliberately try to silence it. And
04:51the
04:51worst people that are trapped in it is Muslims themselves because they can't leave that death cult.
04:55Because they're told, if you question that disgusting book, you're called a kufar. And they get killed over it,
04:59just like my friends who are apostates in prison or dead right now in Iran. I'm telling you, this is
05:03a bad idea. And you're going to regret not listening to people like us who lived on their Sharia law.
05:07Man, this is so important. He is absolutely right. Obviously he's lived it. He has lived this.
05:12There's no arguing with what he's lived and how he has friends that have currently either been killed
05:16or are in jail because of apostate laws through Sharia law. Now, what is important that he mentioned
05:21is they make it seem like this is just this religious practice, but it is blended within the law.
05:26There are certain things that the Muslims are allowed to do personally or within marriage
05:31or whatever that looks like. But Sharia law from a constitutional standpoint is banned when
05:35it would break the constitution. So while there are still religious freedoms, I do think when we
05:40are navigating this, it is impossible to say, hey, we can't just ban everything Islamic while keeping
05:45religious freedoms for all these other religions, but they can ban some of these legal aspects,
05:49which is probably the only way they're going to get any sort of movement on this is saying,
05:53hey, we can ban Sharia law from the legal side of things, not the religious side of things.
05:59And there's more that I will say on that once we get to kind of what the future looks like
06:03with Sharia law. First, let's kind of dissect a little bit more about what it is for those who
06:07may not fully understand. Sharia law is Islam's religious and moral framework for how Muslims
06:11should live. So they derive this from both the Quran and the Hadith, and it really is based on
06:18different interpretation, you know, scholarship interpretation and whatnot.
06:21It addresses everything from prayer, fasting, halal food, personal morality to marriage,
06:25divorce, inheritance, custody, contracts, and finance. But then we see the government's
06:29interpretations of Sharia, including criminal law punishment and government, which I ultimately
06:32think is the end goal for every single kind of Islamic push for Sharia law. But they're not
06:38going to come out and say, say that like this gentleman just said it, they used Takiyah,
06:41they will lie to you in order to get these agendas kind of moving forward. It's more of a subtle
06:46operation at first in order to get these things in place, because they know that people
06:51wouldn't just generally accept a lot of these things. They have to sneakily work their way
06:55in. It is important to note, though, that there isn't one universal like Sharia statue
07:00book that every Muslim follows identically. Just like with Christians having different
07:03denominations, different Muslims interpret these things differently. But for the most part,
07:07we can see within the Middle East when Sharia law is present, what this looks like. These apostate
07:12laws are very clear, how they punish people criminally for different things in the US that you
07:17actually have freedom for, how they view and treat women and their legal rights. All these things are
07:21pretty evident when it comes to a lot of these Middle East countries and how they're running
07:24things. Even if they all aren't exactly the same, the general principles of how they view a lot of
07:30these different areas is the same. As far as the future of Sharia law, what is anticipated is that
07:34actually more states will follow. So a couple of things to look at with Florida making its language
07:39more explicit, actually mentioning Sharia law with Missouri's new law just coming into effect as
07:43August 28th. Those are really big steps this year that happened. There's currently a federal
07:48movement exploring protections nationally rather than just relying on state-by-state patchwork with
07:54these religious laws. Congress has held two Sharia-focused judiciary hearings in 2026 already,
08:00and the Sharia-Free America Caucus has grown to 68 House members from 25 states by June. And currently,
08:08there have been several proposals introduced, including the Preserving Our Constitution Act
08:13of 2026. But this is still just a proposal. It is not nationwide law at this point. And truly,
08:20because of our First Amendment, they have to be careful about how they're tackling this. You can't
08:23just say Islamic Sharia is illegal. They have to, again, be more tactful, be more careful, be more
08:30strategic in the wording to avoid being in violation of the First Amendment, but still making sure that we
08:35are protecting our citizens, our country, and our constitutional rights from the dangerous ideology of
08:40Sharia law. So my goal was to give you an update on what is going on with Sharia law in
08:44the US. I hope
08:45that this helped. I hope this gives you a clear understanding of what states are doing what
08:48exactly. And whenever we have the opportunity to support banning Sharia law in any form or fashion,
08:55we need to make sure that we are getting behind that and we are supporting and putting the right
09:00people in office to make these things happen. We are voting correctly to make sure that we don't fall
09:05into this dangerous ideology as there is a clear invasion. Level one, as he said, that we are
09:09currently in and is currently trying to take root. It is our job to fight back how we can,
09:15of course, be in prayer for Muslims, be in prayer for all that come here. When they come here, it
09:20is
09:20an opportunity to witness to them, to bring them to Christ, to bring them to the truth. So that should
09:23be our main goal. But at the same time, we need to protect and steward well what the Lord has
09:27given
09:27us with our states and our country and make sure that we are being good citizens of the nation
09:33that we are blessed to live in. Remember, if you like Christian content, make sure to hit that
