00:00Oh man, I got a fun one today. I decided we should go through some of Ms. Rachel's

00:03threads, posts, and kind of dissect them a little bit because she likes to say some insane things

00:09claiming the name of Christ, claiming Christianity, and claiming the Bible. And it's concerning that

00:13there are so many people who are believing this and buying it and taking it for what she's saying.

00:17A lot of these arguments and statements she brings up are very old, recycled arguments that have

00:23already been debunked time and time again when you really look at the true understanding, theological,

00:28and accurate understanding of what the Bible says. So let's take a look at some of these. But

00:32before we get into it, my name is Cliff Buell. If you're new here, welcome. If you're not new here,

00:35welcome back. This channel exists to build a believer and reach the lost. If you like Christian

00:43appreciate it. Let's start off with Ms. Rachel saying, I am a Christian who supports, celebrates,

00:49and loves LGBTQ plus folks. You are safe and cherished with me. This is one of her more viral

00:54ones within the Christian space because of, I mean, very obviously so making a bold claim of

00:59not just loving people, but supporting and celebrating the sin that they're in. You attend

01:05a healthy church, a healthy Christian community, anything that is biblically based and it is

01:09healthy, they're going to say, hey, if you're a part of the LGBTQ plus community, you're welcome

01:15here. A healthy church is going to say that. But the idea is that they're going to bring you

01:19closer to Christ who's going to clean you up and pull you out of your sin. So whether you're an

01:23alcoholic or you're a drug addict or you're addicted to corn or you have anger issues or

01:29you've committed all sorts of crimes, none of that stuff matters about coming to church because they

01:37want you to come closer to Christ and become free of the bondage, become free from your sin. And so

01:42we

01:42should love everyone. God is love. We should love people. But supporting and celebrating

01:49absolutely not when it comes to sin. We are called to be holy as he is holy. We are called

01:53to pursue righteousness. We are called to turn away from our sin. Paul says, should we go on

01:58sinning just because the free gift of grace of Jesus Christ? He says, by no means. So we stop in

02:03our sin. This is clearly sin. As we see Jesus outlines what marriage is. We see in Genesis what

02:09marriage is. Don't even have to look at the Levitical laws. We can see in the New Testament and from

02:13the

02:13creation and even what happened, of course, to Sodom and Gomorrah, that this is a sin. This is

02:18an abomination. This is not how God has designed things. So we know it's sin. There needs to be a

02:23distinction of just because we do not affirm the sin doesn't mean that we hate the sinner, right?

02:28There is the famous Christian quote of love the sinner, hate the sin, right? And that is a biblical

02:34concept. And I think because the world sees us as, hey, we think this is a sin. You shouldn't do

02:39this.

02:39Oh, they hate me. And that's because your identity is tied up in the sin. So you take it as

02:45a personal

02:45attack. If I am having outbursts of anger and someone says, hey, you shouldn't be angry. Would

02:51I say, oh, you hate me? Well, only if my identity was in my anger, but a normal, healthy person

02:57is

02:57going to recognize that you just don't want me to be angry anymore. You don't hate me. And if you

03:02have

03:02a very healthy mindset, you can understand they actually have my best interest in mind. They know that

03:06this anger is bad for me. And so as believers, we do have to be careful and do a good

03:09job of when

03:10we are ministering to the world that they can understand where we are coming from because we

03:14cannot hold the world to biblical standards. We can only hold believers to biblical standards.

03:17So it is important when we minister to people who are living in sin that do not have a relationship

03:21with Jesus Christ, that we first lead them to that relationship with Jesus Christ instead of just

03:25condemning all of their sin all the time, instead of just going straight to condemning their sin

03:30because they will not be able to receive the truth when they don't already know the truth of

03:33Jesus Christ. This will probably be the one that I spend the most time on. There's eight other ones

03:36here. We're going to go through them rather quickly, but this one is so important because

03:40it is such a critical and divisive aspect of our culture today. While I have you here, I created an

04:09literally would mean we couldn't wear blended fabrics or eat shellfish. The Bible has been used to justify

04:15things like slavery and banning interracial marriage. Some of us spend quiet moments with God where we

04:20learn just how phenomenal God's love is and just how small our thinking in this world is and how cool

04:24and judgmental we can be to each other when God wove us together about supporting LGBTQ plus

04:30specifically is what she's saying here. There's a lot in this. I'm going to address it really quick

04:33because this is one of the most insane takes I've ever heard. Taking the Bible literally, she's saying

04:37basically that we shouldn't take the Bible literally. Otherwise, we would have to do some of

04:40these Levitical laws and things of that nature. But when you read the Bible fully, you would understand

04:44that Jesus fulfilled the law. We no longer are required to live under that law anymore because of what

04:48Jesus Christ did. And if you claim to be a Christian, but you don't take the Bible literally, I would

04:52reflect

04:52on your faith because we believe that this is God's written word to us. So if you believe in God

04:57and you want God to speak to you, he speaks to you through his word primarily, then you should take

05:03it literally. You should understand what it's saying. But her thought process seems to be coming

05:06to taking things out of context and just applying them based on because you just read it in the Bible.

05:12But the reality is we have to look at the whole context of the Bible. We don't follow Old Testament

05:15laws any longer. Even if there's some good principles in there, there's some good things that we could do.

05:20Obviously, some of them are very impractical for today's day and age, and we don't have to live

05:24by them anymore because Jesus fulfilled them. But we should still pursue righteousness and holiness.

05:29So it's a strange kind of logic that she has where it's like, we don't follow these laws anymore.

05:32And also we can just affirm sin. Not a big deal. She goes on to say the Bible has been

05:36used to justify

05:37things like slavery and banning interracial marriage. That has nothing to do with taking the

05:40Bible literally because those things are not promoted in the Bible in this way, right? And there are

05:46arguments that are made, but I believe that this terrible interpretation is man taking

05:50my opinion and using the Bible to justify my opinion rather than looking at the Bible for

05:53what it is, what it says, the cultural place that it was written in and what it's pointing to,

05:58and then applying that to my everyday life. So when you mix those things up, you're going to get

06:02things like people. And I mean, for the slave Bible, they literally had to remove stuff out of

06:05it in order to justify slavery for banning interracial marriage. Again, I think that's just poor

06:10application of scripture. So it's not taking the Bible literally for either of those things.

06:15It's actually misusing the Bible. Some of us spend some quiet moments with God where we just learn

06:21about just how phenomenal God's love is, right? Yes. I think a hundred percent, everyone should do

06:24that, but that doesn't negate taking the Bible literally. I think the more you take the Bible

06:28literally, you actually learn how much God loves us because it is one of the best love stories ever

06:33written in scripture. And so we should take the Bible literally spend quiet time with the Lord.

06:38He will reveal things through his Holy spirit in the word, and you will learn how much God loves you.

06:43And you will learn to love God tremendously as well. And his creation, other people in a correct

06:47way. And then she talks about being cruel and judgmental to each other. And then she's

06:51specifically talking about LGBTQ. And again, I already addressed all that. So I'm not going to get

06:55into it again. You shouldn't be cruel to anyone. You should love people, but we hate the sin.

07:00Imagine focusing on attacking and judging others in God's name when you could serve love and help others.

07:04So this is actually relatively true. Unfortunately, I know the context that Ms. Rachel's coming from with

07:10this, but this is a true statement. We shouldn't just be focusing on attacking and judging people,

07:15but we should be serving, loving, and helping other people. A hundred percent. We are called to serve.

07:19The son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, right? A hundred percent Christians need

07:24to do a better job at serving other people instead of trying to serve ourselves. Instead of trying to

07:27just push our own agendas within Christianity, we need to show the love of Christ, which will bring

07:31people to understand who Jesus is. And that is what's going to bring them to a place of repentance.

07:36So I do agree. We shouldn't just be attacking people. I do think that judgment, there is a

07:41place for judgment in the church. I'm not talking about a final judgment. I'm not condemning people

07:45to hell, but we are called to hold other believers accountable. Jesus tells us how to judge others.

07:49And he says, you know, by the same measure that you judge, you will be judging. And I think we

07:52need

07:52to have a good measurement of judgment within the church. We should not continue to allow people to

07:56walk out in sin. Paul continues to condemn sin and what churches are doing throughout almost all of his

08:01letters. He's correcting and telling people what to do because they're in sin. You know,

08:06he says it's better for someone to be handed over to Satan when they weren't correcting the

08:09perversion that was taking place in the Corinthian church. So there is a level of judgment. It's just

08:14not a final judgment as in God's judgment. And we should not be judging the world. We should be

08:19loving the world to bring them into Christ because again, we cannot hold them to Christ standards when

08:23they don't know Christ. All right. We have a quote from Dolly Parton that she says, I keep saying,

08:28if you're the fine Christian that you think you are, why are you judging people? That's God's job.

08:32We're not God. We're not judges. We're supposed to love one another. We're supposed to not judge.

08:37So again, just with the judgment, as we already kind of talked about, you know, Miss Rachel again

08:42is just pushing this, like stop judging LGBTQ people. Stop hating people. Let's just love,

08:46love, love, love, love. God is love. And it's like, yes, God is love, but he's also a God of

08:50judging.

08:51He's a God of wrath. And we don't want our brothers and sisters in Christ. And we don't want God's

08:55creation to be subject to that wrath. So when we're simply pointing things out in the world saying,

08:59hey, if you come to Christ, you know, put off this other lifestyle, whatever. We're not trying

09:03to judge people and condemn them to hell. We're trying to tell them the truth. And some Christians

09:06do a really bad job of that. And others do a really great job. But unfortunately, the ones who

09:09have done a bad job in representing Christ very poorly, that's where we get our bad name from for

09:14what we've done. The ones, whoever, who are loving people well, like they're doing a great job. But if

09:18you're in the church, if you claim like Miss Rachel claims to be a Christian, so we are going to

09:21call

09:21you out and say, hey, the word of God says, this is actually wrong. What you're saying says not to

09:26celebrate and support LGBTQ. It actually says it's an abomination. It says that marriage is

09:31between one man and one woman. It says to deny the flesh. It says that we should not lust after

09:36anyone, even if you're a heterosexual. So we have to address these things appropriately and claim what

09:41the word of God says to other believers that they know that they are living incorrectly, that they

09:45were living a sinful, rebellious life to God while also trying to claim his name. And you cannot serve

09:49two masters, as scripture says. So again, when it comes to judgment, this is an area where people are

09:54just like, oh, you don't need to judge, no judge, no judge. But really we do have to make judgments

09:57rightly within the church to understand what God is saying and how people should live for the Lord.

10:03My mind is full of God's love. No, hate is a lot inside. I love that for you, but the

10:07word actually

10:07says to love what God loves and to hate what God hates. That is what scripture says. So there should

10:12be

10:12some hate inside. So we need to hate the sin again. And that's where Miss Rachel has a lot of

10:17problems

10:17that she doesn't hate sin. She affirms sin and she thinks it's great and amazing and cool. And she celebrates

10:22and supports it. So that's, that's part of the problem. You should have God's love. You should

10:25have it. We all should have God's love. We should experience God's love. We should give God's love,

10:30but we should also hate what he hates. And that's sin. That's wickedness. That's rebellion. That's

10:34disobedience. He hates these things. And when we start to hate them too, we move in a direction of love

10:40towards righteousness, towards holiness. This one was interesting. She said, want to correct something

10:44commonly said, thank you for being a voice for children who are voiceless. They have voices. They are much

10:49smarter and more fearless than me. Their communities have voices and are as well, but you have blessed me

10:55with a platform and I will use it to listen and amplify. So I guess people are thanking Miss Rachel

11:00for being a voice for children who are voiceless. What's interesting about this is when it comes to

11:04the topic of abortion. Now it is scriptural to say, to have a voice for those voiceless. I believe it's

11:09in Psalms, you know, be a voice for those who are voiceless. We should absolutely be that as

11:13Christians. We should stand up for those who are vulnerable, who cannot defend themselves. That is the job

11:17of a believer. And so I believe one of the people that we should stand up for are those babies

11:23in

11:23the womb. They need someone to fight for them because they are being deleted at a rate like

11:28none other that we've never seen in the history of someone, a group of people being killed. This is

11:34like nothing we've ever seen. And so it is ironic to me to use this as like, Hey, I'm going

11:39to keep

11:39speaking up for these people who don't have a voice, but really you're not. You're not speaking up for

11:45the ones that are experiencing the harshest and biggest genocide. She wants to stand up for other

11:50genocides, but you don't stand up for this one. You don't stand up for the truth that is happening

11:54in the womb. So this is just crazy to me that this is even something she said knowing that,

11:59but I think a lot of this is even just engagement bait at the end of the rage bait. I

12:03think that's

12:03all that a lot of it is. And she knows that it brings on a lot of fans and it

12:08gives more engagement

12:09and more publicity to those who disagree. And here I am doing the same thing, but I think a lot

12:13of

12:13these things need to be addressed. We need to talk about these things so we can understand

12:16both sides of the argument and make a logical conclusion about what the truth actually is.

12:20So let's look at why would Ms. Rachel weigh into politics? I would like children to stop being

12:23killed. Yeah, I think we all would. But again, you're not really fighting for the ones in the

12:27womb. You're only fighting for the ones that fit your agenda. And I think that's a problem.

12:31All right. We have, I'm going to love more all day and every day. No hate can stop me.

12:35Yeah. I don't think hate should stop you from loving people. I just don't think you have a good

12:38understanding of what love and hate are. All right. And we have Jesus would be kind of Muslims.

12:43Jesus was Jewish. Love every neighbor. Attacking people of other faiths.

12:48Oh, the irony. Attacking people of other faiths is wrong. Jesus showed this in the Good Samaritan

12:54parable and in his life and teachings. Love a devout Christian. Yeah, I don't know about that.

13:00It's just the irony of attacking other people's faiths is wrong while offending Muslims is hilarious.

13:05It really is. Now, Muslims need to know Jesus Christ and we absolutely need to be kind to them.

13:10It's God's kindness that leads to repentance. I do believe that Jesus would be kind to Muslims.

13:14I think that statement is accurate. I've heard testimony after testimony from Muslims,

13:17where it's Christians who are kind to them, who love them, who ministered and serve them,

13:22who converted, as opposed to the Christians who are just screaming at them, yelling at them,

13:26making fun of them. Those things have not converted people. So I do believe we should be kind to them.

13:31And I don't think that we should just attack them because they're Muslims, right? We should be ready

13:35to defend ourselves though, because they will attack you for your faith. The Quran talks about

13:39what they should do to the infidel, to the unbeliever, to the Christian and the Jew.

13:42And so we do need to be ready to defend ourselves, but at the same time, we need to use

13:45wisdom and how

13:46we can move forward in trying to introduce Muslims to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

13:51All right. Ms. Rachel forgot to take her meds. No, I remember it. I have a daily pill organizer and

13:56there's nothing wrong or shameful about taking meds for mental health. No need to stigmatize mental

14:00health or medication. Yeah. We don't need to make fun of people who are taking mental health,

14:03but I don't know if she's admitting to taking pills for mental health issues.

14:08The whole thing kind of seems weird to me. It seems like more like a PR kind of push so

14:12that

14:12she can get more support for supporting mental health here. But you know, I believe that Jesus

14:18Christ can heal mental health issues. I believe that he can fully remove anxiety, bipolar stress,

14:24deleting yourself thoughts. I believe Jesus can remove all of these things. He can handle the

14:28mental health. And when we continue to rely on pharmakia, which is a form of witchcraft,

14:33man, it becomes a problem. Pharmakia being the root word of pharmacy. Pharmakia is actually

14:37another word for witchcraft in the Greek. So man, we need to be very, very careful about medication.

14:43I'm not completely against it. I think there can be seasons and times where we can take certain

14:47things to help us in a moment, but I think we should not rely on it long-term. We need

14:52to be very

14:52careful about going to substances to cure us rather than the great physician. And then the last one

14:58I'll read here is less judgment, more compassion for parents, for everyone. Parenting life is hard.

15:04Again, I think she has a very skewed view on judgment. I think there are people who are harsh

15:08in their judgment and their criticisms, a hundred percent, but judgment isn't necessarily an evil

15:13thing. But yeah, we do need to be more compassionate. So, I mean, you can even see here, like, I

15:17don't

15:17disagree with every point she's making, but I have not agreed with a full point of what she's making.

15:22She has a very bad understanding of love. She has a very bad understanding of hate. She's a

15:26very bad understanding of judgment. But we do need to be kind and compassionate and serving

15:30to others. Christians could a hundred percent learn so much from non-believers who just love

15:36people without condition. Truly, it happens time and time again, and believers can be so bad about

15:40that. But we also need to understand that calling out things that are sinful, calling out things that

15:44are wrong, that are against our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, things that put him up on the cross,

15:50that's not wrong. Especially if you're a believer, we need to be calling those things out. If a believer is

15:55choosing to live in sin, we need to call that out. But man, let me know what you guys think

15:59this. It's kind of crazy. I know there's Christian alternatives to Miss Rachel. If maybe you didn't

16:03know about this and you watch Miss Rachel or you let your kids watch Miss Rachel, there are Christian

16:07alternatives. I know Chosen Kids is one. Good News Guys is another one. Those are just a couple off the

16:11top of my head. There are many others, though, that I've seen. Honestly, if you were to just do a

16:15Google of Christian alternatives to Miss Rachel, there's going to be a few that pop up there.

16:19And they're good. They're really good. So I would recommend not watching her, supporting her. And that is that.
