I react to Bryce Crawford’s conversation with Logan Paul about homosexuality, whether sexual orientation is a choice, and how Christians believe God calls people to respond to sexual desires. Bryce explains the biblical view of sexuality, self-control, sin, love, and why he believes following Jesus ultimately means surrendering every area of life to God.

00:00Man, Bryce Crawford, if you didn't know, was recently on Logan Paul's podcast and they get
00:03into a discussion about LGBTQ, homosexuality. So let's see what Logan Paul has to say about it
00:11and what Bryce's response is. This, I already know, is going to be a good one. Before we get
00:17into it though, make sure you hit that subscribe button if you like Christian content. All right,
00:21let's check it out. One point I definitely get a little stuck on, I was clear about this,
00:26or I discussed this with the connectlies a little bit, is God's condemnation of people
00:30who are attracted to the same sex has always been a little confusing for me. And I saw you talk
00:36about
00:36this on Howie's podcast a little bit. And Jeff's podcast. Yeah, basically, you know, what I've
00:42noticed is that everyone feels comfortable by asking me the gay question, which is like,
00:45I'm perfectly fine with, like, I'm cool with it, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Just help me, help me
00:49understand, help me understand, help me just, help me understand a little bit just because like,
00:52I, you know, I, um, I'm a straight man. I- Debatable. Dude, you don't have to convince
00:57me. You don't have to convince me. You have to believe me. Okay. You guys, I have a wife.
01:01Please believe me, you guys. Um, I'm a straight man as far as I know. Uh, and I don't know
01:08why I
01:09am that way other than I think I was born to be attracted to women. Um, there are plenty of
01:15gay
01:15people on the planet who I believe were born in the same way, but were attracted to those of the
01:21same sex. There's just, there's just, there's just too many people who are attracted to the
01:24same sex to be like, oh, this is either a, an anomaly or be like, they're choosing this lifestyle,
01:29especially because it could be argued that that- So I think Logan Paul may need to look at the
01:34data on this. 1.6% of people identify as gay. 1.4% identify as lesbian. 1.1 are
01:41trans. And then
01:42there's 5.3, I believe that are bisexual. That is a whopping 9% of the population identifying as
01:49LGBTQ plus. So when he's specifically talking about being attracted to the opposite sex,
01:53even if you would clump in people who are bisexual, we're talking about seven or 8%
01:57of the entire population. And that number has doubled since 2012. So think about this
02:03massive increase that has taken place since 2012. That's less than 15 years ago that we've seen a huge
02:10spike before then. Again, it was half of that. So I think to assume that there's just too many people
02:16for this thing to not be like a normal thing is not looking at the data accurately. The struggle
02:22is real. And I think there's a lot of reasons that I'm curious to see what Bryce has to say
02:25here.
02:25There's a lot of reasons as to why that struggle is real. People are born with that, or they start
02:28to experience that. And when you look at the sexual trauma and violence that takes place within this
02:33community, it's staggering results. Bisexual women up to 80% have experienced contact sexual violence
02:39and roughly 50% experience rape in their lifetime. Transgender individual studies and advocacy groups
02:44have estimated that approximately 50% to 64% experience sexual assault or violence at some
02:49point in their lives. Lesbian women and gay men approximately 60% report contact sexual violence
02:54and about 25% experience rape. I mean, these are very high numbers for a small group of people.
03:00Bisexual men around 40 to 50% report experiencing contact sexual violence or other non-rape sexual assaults
03:07in their lifetime. So this is a very common theme in this group. And we can say that correlation
03:12doesn't always equal causation. And that is true, but there's clearly a correlation between the LGBTQ
03:17plus community and high levels of sexual violence and trauma. Study after study after study show the
03:22same exact thing. There is clearly something that is unnatural that isn't good taking place in this
03:28realm. And I'm going to continue playing the video because I don't even want to get started on the
03:32demonic side of this because we'll be here for a while. Lifestyle, at least optically and publicly,
03:37comes with some things that make a living a little harder, especially when it comes to judgment
03:41from other people, judgment from religions. And so that one's always been a little tough for me
03:48to understand. Maybe you could help me. Yeah, for sure. So I think we have to define
03:51what love is. Is love a feeling? Is it, you know, is love the feeling you get when you get
03:55booze in
03:55the system? Or is it an intimate act that you do with someone? I would say, actually, I don't think
03:58it's any of that. I think love is a choice. And the Bible describes love. So the Greek language and
04:03the Hebrew language have multiple words for love, whereas we just have love in the English language.
04:06And the words for God's love, Greek is agape, unconditional. No strings attached. If I never
04:11see you, never touch you, hug you like I'm for you. Ahava had a tattoo on my hand. It's sacrificial
04:15love, meaning to lay your life down for someone. So I believe that's what love is. So I have to
04:19define what love is. I think Christians have done a poor job in history by making people part of the
04:24LGBTQ community feel as if they are of a lesser moral value than they are. There's actually a lot more
04:29heterosexual sin that happens within Christianity than homosexual sin. Like there's a lot of pastors
04:32cheating on their wives. A lot of people watch porn, you know, stuff like that.
04:37The pushback that I'd say is the Bible describes a man and a woman coming together under one
04:42covenant for one lifetime. That's God's original design for mankind. Anything outside of God's
04:45original design is sin. So when you have a man and a man or a female and a female, it
04:49would be
04:49determined sin. I think being gay is a choice. I personally do. I mean, if someone was born and
04:55they were attracted to their little sister, do you think that they would be born attracted to their
04:58little sister? You know?
05:00I think there isn't, aren't some people born now? Isn't that like a, that's like there are like
05:06the pedophiles, pedophiles specifically are trying to say like, similarly, that's like
05:10what they're attracted to. And that's just like, I love how they kind of were like, wait a second.
05:15We think that is a thing, which almost makes the argument even better on Bryce's side, because
05:20we know that it's wrong. So even if someone was born that way, that would say, Hey,
05:24just because you're born a certain way still means it's wrong. Right. And as Christians, we know you must
05:28be born again. So it's like, even if you're born with a tendency to be addicted to alcohol or to
05:33substances, you, you have to be born again. You have to surrender these things to Christ.
05:37So even if someone was born with the tendency to be attracted to the same sex. And I think there
05:41are cases where that is true, whether that be generational curses, whether that be, this just
05:46be their struggle because people are born with different types of struggles, or it could be a
05:50choice that they make because of societal pressures or because they were abused as a child. So there's a
05:55lot of different variables at play that could cause someone to be in this position, but for them to sit
06:00here and talk about how pedophiles are trying to make this a case where, Oh, we're just born this
06:04way. It's like, well, that doesn't make it right. So we need to stop doing it. We need to fix
06:08it.
06:09Regardless if you were born that way or not. While I have you here, I created an app that blocks
06:12your
06:12distracting apps until you read your Bible. It's called first light Bible and prayer. It starts
06:15with a prayer. Then you read the Bible. When you're finished reading the Bible, you check off which book
06:19and chapter that you've read. So you can track reading through the entire Bible. This app has helped me to
06:24put
06:25God first every single day for almost five months. Now, if you think that it could help you to click
06:29the link in the pink comment below or skin the QR code. Like, would you guys personally say like,
06:33okay, let's say someone's born gay or born straight, right? Then what we say that someone
06:36could be born attracted to their little sibling? Yeah. I mean, yeah. Yeah. You think so? Right.
06:41So, so, so where I would say, I would say, no, I don't think so. I think that people are
06:44born into
06:44sin and some people struggle with homosexual attraction. Some people struggle with, you know,
06:49incest attraction. Some, some people struggle with attraction to other things, but when God is,
06:53is talking about homosexuality, he's not trying to be a buzzkill, right? So spiritually, God designed
06:58man and woman to come together. Practically, if I'm just being completely honest, why is it that AIDS
07:02and HIV is more prominent in homosexual environments than it is in heterosexual environments? It's
07:06because people are putting things in certain places that they shouldn't go. And so I don't think
07:09God's trying to be a buzzkill. I think he's trying to protect us physically, emotionally, and
07:13spiritually. And I just, we're trusting as Christians that his way is better. So if someone is like,
07:18I want to follow Jesus, but I struggle with homosexuality, the same way that I'm a Christian and I'm a
07:22straight man. I, and I'm, I'm a heterosexual man. I have to practice self-control because I'm,
07:27what is that person? So what does that look like for that person? If a gay, if there's a gay
07:30person
07:30out there or someone who is attracted to their little sister or whatever the things we just
07:34talked about that is trying to become more aligned with God, with Jesus and the way that Jesus
07:38prescribed, what would, let's use a gay person specifically, what would that person then do?
07:43Abstain? Yeah. So self-control would be abstaining from that, right? So even the person that is a,
07:47that is a straight male or female that is outside of wedlock, they would be abstaining from sex.
07:52They would be using self-control, right? So self-control is a fruit of the spirit.
07:55But then you kind of ask. So I think this is a good question because I've actually been in groups
07:59where men have struggled with this thing and talk about this. And just because you follow Christ and
08:06you're attracted to the same sex, it's no different than a heterosexual person who is single.
08:10It's like, you have to abstain from giving on your lustful temptations and desires. Now,
08:16obviously marriage is between one man and one woman. So we wouldn't say, okay, you just abstain
08:20from giving in to your desires until you can get married to the same sex. It's either you stay
08:25single and abstinent, or you end up marrying the opposite sex. If God gives you the desire
08:31to do that and bring someone into your life, which we, there are countless testimonies of ex-homosexuals
08:35marrying the opposite sex, finding attraction to someone of the opposite sex, having families
08:40with them. So this is a, not an uncommon thing. The Lord can absolutely change your desires when
08:46you surrender this thing to him. But if, even if he doesn't, then you are still called to serve him
08:50and be obedient to him and not give in to those desires just because we have them. Even heterosexual
08:55men or women could have desires to have sex with more than one person or outside of the covenant of
09:00their marriage. Well, you have to abstain from that. You have to not do that, right? Even if you have
09:04the temptation or desire to do it. So it just, again, is a very simple point, but I think it's
09:09hard for
09:09them to understand because it's such a societal norm at this point, even though it is a very low
09:13percentage of the population, even though there are clearly things that are, are not natural and
09:17not good from this thing. As Bryce even pointed out regarding AIDS, asking them to abstain from
09:22love a little bit. But then that, that goes back to the question on what exactly is love? If love
09:27is
09:27a fear. I also, I also, I also kind of disagree that we have to define love. Like why, why,
09:31why do we have
09:32to define it? Because then why would we have to define good or evil, right? We have to define what
09:37things are in order to determine them. Like right now in the 21st century, people are inventing new
09:41words, new things, new meanings for stuff. And now definitions are getting all screwed up, not even
09:45just outside of love on a whole bunch of other things. So it is important. To your point, you're
09:48right. Words do matter. Love, love is a tough one because there's that. I think it can, I think it
09:52can be a lot. It's an intangible thing, right? But like, I think that's why, and this all stems back
09:57to worldview. Like I think sometimes people can look at like, oh, you know, Bryce has a stance on
10:00homosexuality. It's not political. It's just a worldview. What people typically label as a political
10:04thing. It's not political. It's a worldview. Someone's a Christian. Someone's a Muslim.
10:07Someone's an atheist. Someone's agnostic. Someone doesn't, doesn't care about religion. It's all
10:11worldview. Why do you, if you think being gay is a choice, why would a gay person choose a lifestyle
10:17that is probably much unnecessarily harder than just being heterosexual? Well, think outside because
10:23of, because of judgment and being shunned and potentially mocked or made fun of. Okay. Like,
10:27let me ask you this question. Like all the bad decisions that you've made in the past,
10:30like why did you choose to do them? Even if you knew that there would be repercussions coming,
10:33I've not made a single bad decision in my entire life.
10:35You know, I, I, I admire that.
10:39I'm sorry. Ask the question.
10:40You know what I mean? It's like, what, why would you choose? Why did you choose in the past to
10:43make
10:43bad decisions that you knew there were repercussions coming after even like exclude, exclude religion
10:48aside of it. Like you're saying, if someone is, if a man is attracted to a man and they know
10:51that
10:51judgment's going to come, there are things. And like, by the way, me saying that I think
10:55homosexuality is a sin is not judging someone. It's my worldview. If I think Jesus is the truth,
11:00I'm not judging them. I'm trying to point them to the truth because in my mind,
11:02I don't think that thing's going to satisfy their soul because everyone again is on a quest for
11:06love. It's deeper than an attraction to the same sex or the opposite sex. I would say the same
11:11thing to someone who's trying to find escapism in a heterosexual marriage. Like, does your faith go
11:15deeper than just your significant other? And so like this love extravaganza, it's deeper than a
11:19feeling. It's deeper than drugs. It's deeper than being attracted to a man or a woman or a helicopter.
11:24Like, you know, I don't even care. It's deeper than that. It is about the man himself, Jesus.
11:28And so if someone is in a homosexual lifestyle and they want to follow Jesus,
11:33Jesus made an original design for people. We're trusting that his way is better. They would be
11:37practicing self-control because they're trusting that God's way is better. When I follow Jesus,
11:41I'm handing the reins of my life over to God, despite how I feel, despite what I want to do,
11:46despite what I care about. Because what I care about may not be what's best for my life,
11:48whether that's with sexuality, alcohol, drugs, friend groups I hang out with, my job,
11:53maybe that's a distraction, whatever it may be. Would you say that there's a portion of
11:57being a good Christian that just unconditionally may contain suffering?
12:04Yeah, I think so. Like being a gay person who can't experience love or has to abstain,
12:09sorry, has to abstain from a romantic relationship in life because of their,
12:12as you put it, chosen attraction. Like, would you consider that suffering a necessary part of
12:19Christianity? Well, I think this is a powerful question. I really want to hear what Bryce has
12:24to say to this, but bringing in suffering into this is so important. And I don't think any suffering
12:30is unnecessary. I think, and this is, this is a tough one because people go through really hard
12:35situations. I'm sure there's going to be people watching this who don't understand why they had
12:38to go through certain situations that cause suffering. The Bible is very clear about what
12:42suffering does for you though. And for whatever reason, you know, I don't know why in people's lives,
12:47God has allowed certain suffering and other people's he hasn't, but I do believe that he
12:51uses that suffering. So first Peter talks a lot about suffering and it is so, so, so, so good.
12:57And then you have Romans five, three through five that talks about suffering produces endurance,
13:01which produces character, which produces hope. And that is just a really good reminder of what,
13:06what suffering does. And so God doesn't waste anything. He uses even the hardest of times.
13:11And some of the, what we would say is the most evil things and truly usually are the most evil
13:15things. And he uses those still for his glory, for your good. God uses all things for the good of
13:20those who love him and are called according to his purpose. So we see that Romans 8, 28. And so
13:25I do
13:26think that, you know, God sometimes allows different people, different struggles and
13:30sufferings. There's a gentleman, Jamie Carrington, who's in a wheelchair and has spine issues. He's been
13:34in a wheelchair his whole life. And he talks about how he loves his life and how he knows that
13:38God gave
13:39him what he has here, what he's dealing with, because he knows that he can handle it. And it's
13:42actually blessed him. It's caused him to understand God in a different way and draw close to the Lord
13:46in a different way that he doesn't think he would be able to, if he didn't have the condition that
13:51he
13:51has. And while all of us who are walking with our arms and legs and completely functional in the body,
13:57you know, we have different types of suffering than what Jamie is going through. And so I just think
14:01that, you know, while suffering is very hard, especially in the moment and can leave long lasting
14:05implications, the Lord does use it and we are called to surrender it to him and really just trust him
14:10and be obedient to him no matter what, because he really does have our best interests. He does
14:13care for us and he does love us. And so hopefully that's some encouragement, but let's hear what
14:17Bryce has to say to this. I think it comes down to like how you define suffering again, like what
14:21does it mean to suffer for God? But like separate from that, the two options would be either, you
14:25know, if you're a man, marry a woman, woman, marry a man, or abstain from it. Like the Bible even
14:29says that there's a call for celibacy for certain people. It's not for everyone, but that calls for
14:33them and it's to focus on the work of God. Praise God. We need people to do that. I'm also
14:36grateful to have a
14:37wife. Praise God. I wasn't called to that. You know what I mean? I'm glad to have a wife. I'm
14:41glad
14:41to have, have a family. You know, I'm grateful for that. Uh, you know, but when like, even with
14:45relationships, God's, whether it's sexual or anything, God's not trying to make life miserable
14:49for us, our experiences, for some reason, we have such a high bar for God, but our experience, it's
14:53like, we think that this is the best for us. So someone that may be in a, that have, that
14:58has had
14:58homosexual attraction for 20 years of their life. They think I can't live without this. This is the best
15:02it's going to get like, this is what's best for me, but we don't know what's better for you on
15:05the other
15:05side of a yes to Jesus. Do you believe, uh, come on. Do you believe in like a, a child's
15:11instincts?
15:12Like, what do you mean by that? Like intuition? Yeah. Like, uh, what, like, what is a four or five,
15:16six, seven year old attracted to or into? Uh, like, is there, is there merit in, in such a, a
15:23youthful
15:24blank canvas, innocence of a thought manifesting itself into reality? Whether you're, you know,
15:29every human being is born into sin. That's why you don't have to teach your, your, your young daughter
15:32to throw a temper tantrum when she doesn't want to share. You know, you know what I mean?
15:35Like, but that shows the manifestation of sin within a human nature because the development
15:40of that, like, for example, someone seeing a pastor cheat on their wife, they didn't just
15:43wake up one day and go, Oh my gosh, I'm going to cheat on my wife. They woke up, went
15:47to the gym
15:47and looked at a woman lustfully and didn't say anything. And then that, that, that pattern
15:50developed, developed, developed and manifested in this big blowup that happened. Right. So
15:53you can see the signs of a sinful nature, even in the innocence of a baby, rebellion, anger,
15:59you know, leading into a temper tantrum, like hitting you, you know, your daughter,
16:01like temper tantrum hitting you. Yeah. I guess you'd have to believe that the signs
16:05of a sinful nature will then manifest in adulthood in something far more drastic than not sharing
16:10a toy. You'd have to believe that, that, that, that, that is the natural path that
16:13you follow. Right. Like deep down, let's say, you know, that isn't dealt with 20 years from
16:16now. And that's, that's literally the natural path. If you don't like, that's why people joke
16:21around. They can say, Hey, I can tell who wasn't spanked as a child, who just always got
16:24their way as a child. Because if you don't correct the sinful nature of the human being,
16:28even as a child, then that is what it's going to turn into is something worse as an adult.
16:33It's going to be not over a toy, but it's going to be over something more serious in
16:37adulthood. That's just basic children's psychology. You know, there's this demand for Christians
16:41to be generous to homeless people, but because you never dealt with your selfishness or your
16:45pride, you're not willing to be generous to the homeless person, but you demand Christians
16:48to be generous to the homeless person. That's pretty hypocritical whether you're a Christian
16:51or not. So, you know, I think even looking at a child, like children have instincts
16:55that they weren't taught, good or bad. I did bad stuff. I'd like hit, you know, throw
17:00a temper tantrum three or four years old, throw a toy at someone, you know, whatever,
17:03punch someone. So it's like, I didn't, no one taught me that. Do I think there's something
17:07beautiful about the innocence of a child? Absolutely. Christ loved children. He actually
17:11tells the disciples that they're like arguing over who's the greatest. And he's like, if
17:14you want to enter the kingdom of heaven, receive me like a child. He's not telling people
17:17to be childish, something to be childlike. You don't have to convince a child that Santa's
17:21real. You tell them Santa's real, they're going to wait that the milk and cookies are going
17:24to be eaten and drank of the morning. And those are going to be Christmas presents
17:26on the Christmas tree. And you actually have to convince them harder that Santa's not real
17:29later in life than you did the first time you told them that he was real. So there's
17:32a beauty of child likeness. But like, you know, looking at human beings, we're all inherently
17:37sinful. And some people struggle with other things more than they do other things. I've
17:39never had a sip of alcohol in my life. I've never done a drug before, but like I was
17:43addicted to porn from the fifth grade until I became a Christian. You know, so I had vices
17:46of my own. So when I talk to people, like I try to level with them, like, man, I ain't
17:50nobody
17:50special. Like just because I wear, you know, a suit and a tie on a wedding day, that doesn't
17:53mean I'm all nice and dandy. I've done some bad stuff, but that's, that's what unites
17:58us is that we can all be, you know, redeemed under that, under that truth. But I think
18:01there's just a lot more that factors into people. You know, I'm not going to label and
18:03say, you know, every person that struggles with homosexuality has been traumatized or
18:06something like that. Bro, even the verb is just crazy. Struggles with homosexuality is
18:11nuts, Bryce. But you have to understand, like my worldview believes that God. They're not
18:15struggling, my guy. They're just proudly gay. Okay. Let me ask you this. Do you think
18:17it's natural for two men to have sex? What is natural? Let's define it. Do you think it's
18:22natural? Do you think that those parts were designed? Do you think two men were designed
18:24to have sex? What is natural? Stick? Hole? Do they fit? Is that natural? Here's the problem.
18:30Let me try this one. The rationale for sexual activity was always based in repopulation of
18:37the earth, right? So the natural way would be to use a penis, which is able to create a
18:42child. Let's exclude that. Let's, okay. I will say if sex was only designed for pleasure,
18:47then that is like, that is like a very shallow reason to have sex, right? Not even just for
18:51repopulation. We know that it's not. We know that it's not. Every single part of the sexual
18:55organ and sexual build out on a male and a woman, how they fit together is built for
18:58the repopulation of earth. Repopulation, intimacy, like you feel close to your significant other.
19:04This particular thing doesn't quite add up to me. That's all I'm saying, bro.
19:08And look, I'm not offended at all. You know, in fact, like we do a lot of, like we go
19:12into a lot
19:12of like pride parades purposely to meet them where they're at because a lot of like people
19:15part of the LGBTQ community, like they're afraid to go to church because they feel like
19:18they're going to be judged. So I don't mind going into an environment. We're not in a minority.
19:21Well, probably because if you, if your end goal is you should just not be gay, they probably
19:25are not going to be super receptive to that. Well, the end goal is not to not be gay. The
19:28end goal is to follow Jesus. And with following Jesus comes losing crap. And that might be,
19:33you know, not being gay, cutting out friends for someone that struggles with homosexuality.
19:36It might be that for someone that struggles. I know, I know gay people who aren't struggling,
19:42right? I know a ton of incredibly nice gay people. The problem is, is that there are people who are
19:48addicted to alcohol, who don't think they're struggling or addicted to some sort of pill to
19:52get them to the day or caffeine that don't think they're struggling, right? There are other sins or
19:57addictions or problems or whatever that people have that they live in and they continue to live in
20:01that they don't think they're struggling. They think it's okay because that's what sin does.
20:04You think it's okay to continue to go out partying and getting drunk every night and getting high,
20:09you know, doing all these crazy things. It's not a struggle to you then because you don't realize
20:13the implication of it. So I understand where Bryce is coming from, but I also understand where Logan's
20:17coming from because he's saying, well, if these people don't, aren't trying to serve Christ and
20:20they're not actively struggling because there's truth in that, right? They don't see it as a struggle
20:24because they're not trying to surrender it. Once it becomes something that you're trying to
20:27surrender, it then becomes a struggle because it's hard to give up.
20:30Well, hold on a second. Well, hold on a second. That's his worldview to use that.
20:34That's that terminology. So you can't, you can't, because there's a lot of people who are out
20:38there right now who aren't struggling. Sorry, let me, let me rephrase. They're struggling with
20:41sexual sin. Does that, does that make the blow? Because again, like, it's less, I would say the
20:46same thing to the straight person that's having sex with their girlfriend or boyfriend outside of
20:49marriage. I would say the same thing to the person that can't stop watching porn. Struggling with
20:52sexual sin. Sexual sin. Yeah. And under that umbrella of sexual sin comes homosexuality. And so
20:57like, it's great. It's, it's, this one's wild to me. This one's, there's a lot of people too,
21:02who actually don't think porn is bad. And so they're addicted to it, but they don't think it's
21:05a struggle because they think it's actually a healthy thing for the body to do. So.
21:09Well, that's okay. Like, you know, I'm not expecting anyone to fully understand like a worldview,
21:13like right off the bat. And I think part of the reason is, and again, people are afraid to talk
21:17about this because they're too worried about like, including people. You're sitting here point blank
21:22saying it is a choice. Well, cause now you can say shit. You know, it's not, it's not 2000.
21:27I'm 10 toes down. I think it's a choice. But like, but like, here's the thing is it's deeper
21:31than just a sexuality. Like I think that all sin leads people to hell. So if I think that something
21:36is going to lead someone to hell and I believe Jesus is the truth, I think ultimate satisfaction
21:39is not found in whether what, what race you are, where you grew up, what sexuality you're attracted
21:43to. If I think it's found in Jesus and I want everyone to have that experience and I want everyone
21:46to know that. And even if that comes to like ruffling people's feathers or offending people,
21:49to me being inclusive by like, Oh yeah, bro, like just live your lifestyle. Heck no. If I think it's
21:55the truth and I think it's the only way I got to say something about it. And yeah, I just,
22:00I just
22:01like having the conversation. But again, like what people don't understand is like, there are people
22:04that like bash people in the LGBTQ community from their couch on Twitter. And I'm going into the
22:10community as the minority willing to have the honest conversations. And I think that's the
22:14difference. It's like, I wish more people would do that. I love, I love that you're doing that by
22:16the way. It's one of the reasons I really respect them. Thank you, man. So I
22:19think Bryce made some incredible points. Ultimately the goal is Jesus. If you're someone
22:23who claims homosexuality or struggles with homosexuality, however you want to say it,
22:29the goal isn't to get you to just not be gay, right? Ideally Christians don't want anybody to
22:33be sinning, but we all have a sin nature. The goal is to be more like Christ. The goal is
22:37to surrender
22:37to Jesus Christ. The goal is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, to follow him.
22:42And again, it's the same analogy. The analogy that I love so much is that you get cleaned up in
22:45the
22:46shower. You don't clean yourself up to go into the shower. You actually make yourself more vulnerable.
22:51You take off your clothes, then you get into the shower and you get cleaned up. So again,
22:55our goal isn't just to get everyone to stop sinning. If that's what a Christian is trying to
22:57do, they have the wrong goal. Our goal is to bring you to Christ and let him do the work
23:01through his
23:01Holy Spirit. He will clean you up. He will be your helper because ultimately if you love Jesus,
23:06you're going to keep his commandments. And that means you're going to try to see people come to Christ
23:09because you love them too. You love his creation. You want the best for them. That is truly what we
23:14want for
23:14people, not just to condemn them and hate their lifestyle. Remember, if you like Christian content
23:18to hit that subscribe button. If you watch the end, you're an absolute legend. But until next time,
23:22I love you and God bless.
