00:00How much of a believer are you in where this Cubs offense that now leads the majors in home runs?
00:07Well, I believe that they can hit their way to a World Series, no doubt, at least in appearance.
00:11I don't know that I'm willing to crown them yet.
00:14It's a streaky offense, but when they thump, when they're on, they could beat anybody, as proven last night.
00:20And the Brewers have sort of had their number the last couple of years.
00:23But when those guys, those vets especially, the guys like Bregman and Horner and Happ, obviously we know PCA is
00:30the MVP of the league right now.
00:31When they bring back Dansby Swanson, Michael Bush has been thumpy as well.
00:35You know, they remind me, as a guy who played a ton of 16-inch softball, when they're on, they're
00:40the team that wins 15-11.
00:42And that's okay.
00:43You know, a lot of guys will say, well, you can't win without pitching.
00:46Did you watch the Atlanta Braves in 2021?
00:48They had no pitching.
00:49All they did was hit.
00:50So, look, I still think in a vacuum, they don't have a true ace and they don't have a true
00:56closer.
00:57But they have a very good offense when it's on and they have the best defense in baseball.
