00:25that the Cubs provided in the 10-5 win.
00:27I'll say this.
00:29When you look at where the Cubs are now
00:31compared to 72 hours ago,
00:34now they've got more than a fighting chance
00:36because Craig Council, who's been so good
00:39at pushing the right buttons of who to use when,
00:41when he's had guys to use.
00:43He got to the playoffs last year in that ALDS
00:45against the Brewers.
00:46He was out of guys.
00:47He was out of guys that he could, you know,
00:49under good conscience use and think they had
00:51a fighting chance against, I don't know,
00:53Jacob Mizorowski coming out of the bullpen.
00:55And now that guy's a starter and he's going to probably
00:57win the National League Cy Young Award.
00:59But with Holmes, to your point, Layla,
01:01and with going back as far as David Peterson,
01:04who's had one bad start and looked pretty good otherwise
01:06because he's got a really good defense behind him,
01:09now the Cubs have options that they didn't have before.
01:12And if Ben Brown comes back, that's a big if, I know.
01:14And if Justin Steele can come out of the bullpen
01:16and be somebody, they can throw just as many arms
01:19as some of these other teams who are World Series contenders.
