00:00So, the Cubs are not going to average 5.4 runs a game all year.
00:05Okay, that's not going to happen.
00:07It's probably going to be a point lower than that, 4.5.
00:11If it's 5, it's going to be fantastic.
00:13That means you scored 800 runs during the year.
00:17You're going to be a playoff team with any pitching at all.
00:21The Cubs have good hitters all the way through the lineup.
00:24They don't have great hitters all the way through the lineup.
00:28Name me a great hitter on the Cubs.
00:31It's Nico Horner, Moises Ballesteros.
00:35Those are great hitters.
00:37So, Nico is a good hitter in a big slump right now.
00:41Right, right.
00:42Like the others are.
00:43And it's going to happen.
00:45And again, you guys were alluding to it when you talked about Bregman.
00:52Bregman has never been a 35 home run guy.
00:54And he hasn't hit over 25, I think, 25 to 30 in the last five years.
01:02So, the idea that he was brought in here to hit 35 and drive in 100, I think that's unrealistic.
01:10I believe there, you know, when you look at Bregman's career, he played in Houston with the Crawford Boxes, the
01:20easiest home run to left field in baseball.
01:22Where did he play last year?
01:24He played in Boston, Fenway, and the Green Monster.
01:29Easiest home run in baseball.
01:31So, he is a line drive hitter.
01:33He's a really good hitter.
01:34But he's really, at this stage of his career, not a home run hitter.
01:38I don't expect him to hit 30 home runs.
01:41If he hits 20 home runs and drives in 80, that's going to be a good year for Bregman.
01:47It might not sound sexy enough for you guys, but that's probably going to be his year if he's on
01:53his game.
