00:00And it's not just his predecessor. The president is once again throwing shade at the very party
00:05that he leads. Today, Trump shared a rant against Republicans from a conservative influencer who
00:10wrote, I don't think the Republicans, the GOP fully grasped how badly they're effing up right
00:16now. It continues with a warning that the party might be sleepwalking toward a midterm reckoning.
00:23But Trump might have just found a winning solution to this, and that is to turn the spotlight right
00:29back on himself. Because just a minute later, he reposted a list of things that he considers to be
00:34his biggest accomplishments. Caroline, The Atlantic is reporting that Trump's advisors
00:40told him that the poor polling reflects the fact that the voting public still doesn't know many
00:46of his accomplishments. So he suggested that the ad makers mine his own on-camera statements as
00:52building blocks. And he says, go look at the clips to make the ads. Is that the right strategy here?
00:59Well, the White House definitely needs to get new talking points. You know, when the answer to
01:03everything is Iran can't have a nuclear weapon and short-term pain for long-term gain, people aren't
01:08believing the talking points anymore. So you're going to have to get new material. But then second to
01:13that, the administration does need to do a better job of getting the accomplishments out there. And
01:18there are many. There's Trump accounts. There's record low fentanyl deaths. There's been zero border
01:22crossings the last 15 months under Biden. It was 5,000 a day in the El Paso sector. They have
01:28to know
01:28that they're up against a biased media. I mean, respectfully, this network covered Natalie Harp
01:33all last week. I didn't hear any word about the young mother in Virginia who was killed by an
01:38illegal immigrant from El Salvador. Thank you for having me on so that I can tell people about that.
01:42But the admin has to realize, yes, they're up against a biased media. So use the other tools
01:47at your disposal that we used very successfully in 2024. Go talk to the podcast audience. Use social
01:53media. I'm a big believer that if you don't go talk to people, they will assume the worst about
01:59you. It's why I appreciate coming on here. And when we were talking to people, we were going up in
02:04the
02:04polls. What about the things that he's actually doing? You know, I do feel like we are in a little
02:11bit of a lull, right? Things have kind of slowed down quite a bit, in my humble opinion. And it's
02:17just
02:17kind of, kind of lacking at the moment. But I think that's just because we're getting ready to
02:24gear up for election season. I don't think there's a whole lot of reason to be spending, you know, a
02:30bunch of money on ads right now. And, you know, you know, going around from place to place at this
02:37moment, right? We still have a lot of time until the election. Now, if this was, you know, a week
02:46out
02:46from the election, I'd be trying to hit the panic button, like, yo, uh, red alert, we need to do
02:53something, you know, but no, I think we have a whole, whole lot of time and, you know, come, you
03:00know, a month out, three weeks out, you're going to see something completely different going on in
03:06the, uh, you know, political realm. In my humble opinion, we we've got buku bucks right now.
03:12Buku bucks. We, we, we've got so much money. We don't know what to do with it. So yeah, there's
03:18going to be a whole lot of money getting thrown around, uh, in another month or so. So I'm not
03:26really too concerned at the moment. I'm not, honestly, I'm not really concerned at all, if I'm
03:30being quite honest. So, um, y'all can let me know if you're concerned about anything, but I'm not, we,
03:35we still have a whole lot of time and I think spending money now would just be a waste.
03:40Because there are also things he's still doing right now that are not helping. I mean,
03:44there, there's the tariffs. He, the whole, the whole thing that he did with beef last week,
03:49which infuriated his own base. I mean, he's got some problems that are actually within his control,
03:55not just talking points, but things he can actually do.
03:57The talking points aren't the problem. Uh, this, this presidency up until this point has been a
04:02failure. He was elected because of things like affordability, although he doesn't believe that
04:06word existed prior to him being elected this go around, but gas prices are still high. Drug prices
04:12are still high. Uh, housing prices are still high. Grocery prices are still high. We're now at month
04:18six and a war in Iran that he said he was going to bomb his way out of people aren't
04:22seeing an end
04:22result of that. So gas prices are going up, fertilizers going up. So by every metric, this,
04:28this white house has been a failure, but what he did last week was he went on a 30 minute
04:32rant,
04:32showing people the improvements he was making to the, to the white house with, with gold ornaments
04:37in Washington, DC. He's a big time developer. So that's what he's spending his time and energy on.
04:42We have a billion dollar ballroom. We're spending money on that. The taxpayers are putting the bill
04:47on. And so that's a lie. Taxpayers are not paying for that. Uh, and of course he said that on
04:54purpose.
04:54And of course, CNN isn't going to correct them on that false statement. But then also, uh, you know,
05:00when, when it comes to things like gas prices, they are down now, they aren't down from where
05:06they were when Trump was first in office, right early on, uh, in him being in office, but in
05:13comparison to where Joe Biden and Kamala Harris had them, they are down. Could they be better?
05:19Absolutely. Is this whole Iran situation a problem? Absolutely. Of course it is. Of course it is.
05:26But I do think that he understands this, the administration understands this, and they are
05:31doing their best to, you know, work their way out of and through this entire situation.
05:39Somebody was going to have to do it. It was going to happen at some point in time. And when
05:43I, when,
05:43when I'm referencing is the whole Iran situation and it just so happened to be under uncle Trump.
05:48And I would rather it be him than a Democrat. I'll tell you that much, but, um, yeah, once again,
05:56I'm not super concerned right now. I'm not super concerned. Uh, come two, three weeks out from the
06:02election. Yeah, I would be concerned if we're still sitting in the same position, I'd be very concerned.
06:09But as of right now, I'm, I'm, I'm not really concerned. This is just, this is just a bunch of,
06:14you know, yip yapping and jaw jacking in my humble opinion. Look, I, I understand that sometimes,
06:20you know, you have a bad message or you have a bad messenger, but there, there also is a point
06:24in time. You're about to see candidates begin to do this right now. When your president's a failure,
06:28you cut bait and run. And that's what Republicans are starting to do around the country.
06:32But would you describe a border where there's been zero border crossings for 15 months as a failure?
06:37Cause I don't define that as a failure. I have my criticisms, but I don't define that.
06:40Well, I mean, I, I would, is that a failure? How about this? No, that's not a failure. And I,
06:43the failure, the failure actually was Democrats. The failure actually was Democrats when we were
06:48running for reelection, acting as if the border and crime was not a real issue when people,
06:54particularly in Texas and other places, because we were naive and we, and we actually, but the
06:59reason that the president was elected was because people were having issues with their pocketbook.
07:05And so let me tell you what the failure is. Let me tell you what, let me tell you what
07:09the failure
07:09is. Well, we also, let me, let me outline the failures of immigration just briefly. The failures
07:14of immigration are when we see ice ripping parents away from children, when we have people,
07:19Americans dead in the street, because of violence. This is what I'm talking about with a biased media,
07:22because you're not going to talk about the young mom killed in Virginia that was killed by a legal
07:27immigrant, but you're going to talk about that. That's not a failure in getting guys like that out of the
07:32country.
07:32You're going to, are you, first of all, everybody around the table, including Democrats, Barack Obama
07:35actually did it well. Everybody says that if you're illegal in this country, you commit a crime,
07:39you should get deported. Not everybody. There's a lot of interaction in the state.
07:41Not everybody. That's not true. That's been the policy.
07:45My member of Congress is against all deportations. One second, one second, one second,
07:49really quickly, because I want to highlight, I want to go back to the failures. I want to go back
07:53to the failures
07:53because you, you, you did not articulate or understand or comprehend the failures of this
07:59administration. The reason he got elected, the reason, the reason he got elected is because
08:04prices are high. Not just that. It was border security too. Listen, you, you can't beat the
08:08same drum. How about this? Has he done anything about affordability? The answer is no. Hold on a
08:12second. Let me, let me just make this point because I think it's important, um, to just note that,
08:18yeah, the president closed the border and he does get some credit for that. Although it's interesting
08:23to see that he's still underwater even on the border security issue. And it could just be
08:28because it's not as, it's not as high on Americans' lists anymore. Sometimes you're a victim,
08:33sometimes you're a victim of your success. But the number one issue for Americans is cost of living.
08:39He is underwater by 48 points on that issue. Jobs in the economy, underwater at 27 points. Um,
08:46immigration. So that's probably capturing some of what Bakari is talking about, how it's being managed
08:51in, inside the United States. He's underwater by 15 points. Crime and public safety, underwater by 13 points.
08:57So there's clear evidence here that Americans think he is not handling glee anything, but I think
09:05his point and part of it is getting in front of people and talking about it. I want to go
09:10back to
09:11that. Uh, they really expect us to believe this. Look at this nonsense. Like really border security.
09:21You really expect us to believe that, uh, he's behind in the polls with border security. Seriously
09:28crime and public safety. You, you, you expect us to believe that he's behind in those poll and that
09:34poll as well. Like just those two alone. Let me know that this is, this is just one of those
09:39BS polls
09:40that they're trying to throw out there to, uh, you know, affect the election. Once again, like they did
09:46with the Ann Seltzer poll. Oh my goodness. Kamala's winning Iowa by three points. And she ended up losing
09:53by like 15. So like, I did, this is just another one of those things. And like polls, even some
10:00of the
10:00Democrat polls have been completely off. Uh, Abdul Rahman El Saeed in Michigan, the Democrat Senate
10:07candidate, uh, that was running was projected to win his primary race by like 15 points. It was, I think
10:14it was,
10:14there was polls that were, that were like between 15 and 20, I believe that he was supposed to win
10:20by according to the polls. He won by barely one, barely 1%. So, I mean, that's 14 to 20%
10:34off
10:35to 14 or 20 points off from the, the reality, you know, and that's a Democrat poll, you know,
10:43Democrat primary polls. So yeah, I'm, I'm not buying this nonsense. And part of it is getting
10:49in front of people and talking about his successes. So for example, if crime, he's underwater,
10:54we have record low crime rates right now, violent crime rates that has gone down.
10:59If he's in democratic cities also, yes. As a direct result of policies that the Democrats
11:04introduced and then had to walk back, like defunding the police. Absolutely.
11:07That is 100% true. I'm saying that crime is down in democratic cities. It's down across
11:12the country at the same time that we actually have a president who's now focused on that issue
11:16and it's tied directly to immigration as well. So you're telling me Donald Trump is the reason
11:19that crime in Baltimore and Little Rock are down in New York City. When you deport violent criminals
11:23from your country, the violent crime rate goes down. That is how it works, yes.
11:28That's not how it works. That is exactly how it works. Did crime go up because of Democrats?
11:31No. Okay. So crime going up in Democrat cities is not a direct result of Donald Trump. Do you know
11:36why crime is going down?
11:37Absolutely. Do you know why crime is going down? Crime is going down because crime is going down in places
11:44like Gary, Indiana
11:45because Eddie Melton, the mayor there, or Baltimore because of the mayor there and Brandon Scott or Randall Wolfen or
11:52Andre Dickens.
11:53Crime is going because they're taking a holistic approach to actually funding things like midnight basketball, after school programs.
12:00They're actually pouring money into primary school education. They weren't being funded before? No, they weren't. Not to this rate.
12:05So that's why you have 15 years up. What happens when you defund police? Does that lead to more?
12:09Where did they defund police? Seattle? Austin? Los Angeles?
12:12I mean, the ladies do it at all to defund the police.
12:15Respectfully, I think this conversation is actually kind of missing the point.
12:19And maybe this is why Republicans are in kind of a bad way, is that you can't tell Americans,
12:26don't worry about that economic issue. That shouldn't be as important to you.
12:29Let me just tell you about this other thing over here. And as important as crime is, their priorities are
12:35their priorities.
12:35And you can't gaslight them into thinking that they should care about things that are not as high on their
12:40list as the economy.
12:42Yes. Caroline and Jason both talk about immigration.
12:45Interesting, because didn't Democrats do that in this past election?
12:48Lied straight to our faces when we were telling them, hey, this border thing is a major, major issue.
12:54And they're looking at us dead in our face and saying, the border's closed. The border's secure.
12:59Same thing with the whole Joe Biden situation. We were all talking about, bro, Joe Biden is just like out
13:05of it.
13:05He can't even read a teleprompter. I mean, the guy stood up there and said, end of quote, repeat the
13:10line.
13:11And you all looked at us and said, oh, no, Joe Biden is fine.
13:14Those are right wing conspiracy theories. Those are right wing cheap fakes that, you know,
13:19those right MAGA extremists are reposting and putting on YouTube and whatnot.
13:25Interesting. And people like Abby Phillips had nothing to say about it then.
13:30Absolutely nothing. She sat back quiet, you know, because of course she's a Democrat.
13:35She'll never admit to it. But of course she's a Democrat.
13:38They're all Democrats in mainstream media, which says a lot as well about, you know,
13:45the Republican, this new Republican Party, how we were still able to win even with mainstream media
13:50being against us. If mainstream media was fair and truly honest, we'd be blowing out Democrats,
14:00blowing them out. It wouldn't even be like the racist wouldn't even be close.
14:05But because we have to contend with mainstream media, which is on everybody's televisions,
14:11it makes it a little bit more difficult, even though mainstream media is losing their grip
14:16on America as a whole. So that's beautiful to see as well.
14:19And in crime, those are important issues, but not this year. It's not what voters want to hear about.
14:23Let's go to a hip hop concert and start playing disco. That's not going to land very well.
14:27OK, Trump is hated in this country. It's just true. He's at all time low.
14:33And the economist went through state by state. The president carried Michigan.
14:39He's now 26 points underwater there. He carried Ohio by 12. He's underwater by 24.
14:44He's 30 points underwater in Georgia. He's 22 points underwater in my beloved Texas.
14:48This country wants a brake pedal on Trump because of cost of living.
14:53And anybody's talking about Trump on the Republican side, anybody's advertising Trump
14:57on the Republican side is going to lose. If the Democrats had the money, we'd buy him another plane
15:02because apparently the one he got from Qatar is broken or something. We'd buy him another plane
15:06on the promise he would only campaign in swing states because he's about as popular
15:10as that cyclosporal lettuce that gives you exploding diarrhea. There's nobody lining up
15:13to buy that crap.
15:14Well, he doesn't believe it.
15:16Yeah, but he's an idiot.
15:17Well, Geraldo, do you remember this? This is from a Punchbowl interview a couple weeks ago.
15:21Listen, if I don't run, will those people go out and vote? And that's the one thing I can't
15:29tell. I'm going to ask him to. And the question is, will they vote? Because a lot of them are
15:34very angry at Republicans, to be honest with you.
15:38Why is that? I don't know. I mean, they're angry at Republicans, but they're not angry at me.
15:42That's an interesting thing. Why?
15:43They're not angry at me, but they are angry at Republicans.
15:47He's extremely frustrated.
15:49As I often ask, what is going on?
15:51He can't get the prices down. He can't win the damn war. He can't make China behave. He can't
15:57even make Canada behave until the line and tariffs and so forth. And he feels like a Hall of Fame
16:05coach who all of a sudden his team is lousy and he blames the team rather than himself.
16:10No, he's actually 100% correct. And I've been saying this for quite some time
16:16now. It's not Trump's fault that he wasn't able or hasn't been able to accomplish everything that
16:22he's wanted to accomplish thus far. That's our fault. I've said that in multiple videos and
16:28every single one of you agreed every single time. So when I watch these types of videos,
16:32I find it funny how they just get on national television and blow smoke right out of their
16:38own behinds. Like they know exactly what they're talking about. And it's like, no, you really don't.
16:44I've talked about this topic several times and everybody agreed. We don't blame Trump for not
16:50being able to deport, uh, you know, more people. We blame ourselves because we allowed people like
16:56John Thune's pathetic, almost cursed, pathetic behind when we shouldn't have. Same thing with
17:05Lisa Murkowski, right? Same thing with Tom Tillis, same thing with Mitch McConnell, same thing with all of
17:12these different rhinos that are standing in the way that, you know, uh, um, uh, what's, what's the guy
17:16in, in Texas, uh, that we just got John Cornyn that are standing in the way of the Trump agenda.
17:23The save America act should have been passed. Is that Trump's fault that it's not passed? No,
17:32that's our fault. We elected those individuals. We did that. We did that. Right. Uh, there,
17:41there is a historically low amount of bills that have been passed. Whose fault is that? Is that
17:47Trump's fault or is that our fault? That's our fault. We elected the individuals that are sitting
17:54there in DC. We did that. We elected John Thune. We elected Lisa Murkowski. We elected John Cornyn.
18:00We elected Tom Tillis. We elected these different individuals that are absolutely garbage. We
18:06continually put Mitch McConnell back in DC. We did that. We did that. Speaking of Mitch McConnell,
18:12we ain't seen that man in like 80 days, but we did that. So when they sit here and say,
18:17oh, well,
18:19even Republicans are blaming Trump. No, we're not idiots. They would like, they would like us to be
18:25idiots. They would like to believe that we're idiots, but we're not idiots. We know how this goes.
18:30A president can only do so much. He signed a historic number of executive orders, historic,
18:37but those executive orders can only go so far. You need legislation to, to, to, to actually really
18:45make some serious changes in the people that we elected to be in DC are absolutely garbage,
18:51absolutely garbage. So I just found this whole conversation and just interesting how they're
18:57just get up there and blatantly lie, blatantly lying. It's, it's, it's hilarious. It is funny
19:02every single time, you know, coming, you know, we obviously we've got the midterms coming up and
19:07when they lose again, they'll be taught, they'll be blaming a bunch of nonsense, you know, making up a
19:12bunch of stuff again, going through the whole cycle all over again. And hopefully, hopefully one day
19:18we won't have to deal with this nonsense and we can just get back to fair and honest, uh, uh,
19:24mainstream
19:25media. It's going to take some time. Obviously it's going to take some, it's going to take the,
19:30the, you know, mainstream media actually crashing completely, but I think they're on the way well,
19:36on their way to, uh, becoming obsolete. Well, what do y'all think? Let me know in the comment
19:41section below, stay safe out there. Peace and love. I'm out.
