00:00Music
00:14Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
00:17The Lord be with you.
00:20So let us stand in God's presence for a moment now and thank God
00:24and take a moment to ask His pardon.
00:32Lord, you are the giver of life. Lord, have mercy.
00:37Lord, you have called us to serve you in this world.
00:40Christ, have mercy.
00:42Lord, you are our model of unconditional love.
00:46Lord, have mercy.
00:48May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins
00:51and bring us to life everlasting.
00:54Being the feast day today, we have the Gloria.
00:57So, glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of goodwill.
01:02We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you, we give you thanks for your great glory.
01:09Lord God, Heavenly King, the God Almighty Father.
01:13Lord Jesus Christ, only begotten Son.
01:16Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father.
01:19You take away the sins of the Father.
01:22You take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
01:23You take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer.
01:27You are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.
01:31For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord.
01:34You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit.
01:38In the glory of the Father, Father, Amen.
01:42Let us pray.
01:45Strengthen in us, O Lord, the faith by which the blessed Apostle Bartholomew clung wholeheartedly to your Son,
01:54and grant that through the help of his prayers your Church may become for all the nations the Sacrament of
02:02Salvation.
02:02And we ask this through Christ's power.
02:08And the first reading today is from the book of Revelations, where it says,
02:18The angel spoke to me, saying, Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.
02:26And he took me in spirit to a great high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down
02:32out of the heaven from God.
02:34It gleamed with the splendour of God.
02:37Its radiance was like that of a precious stone, like jasper, clear as crystal.
02:42It had a massive high wall with twelve gates, where twelve angels were stationed,
02:48and on which names were inscribed the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
02:54There were three gates facing east, three north, three south, three west.
02:58The wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation,
03:03on which were inscribed the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
03:08The word of the Lord.
03:11The response to our readings to this psalm today is,
03:17Your friends make known, O Lord, the glorious splendour of your kingdom.
03:23Your friends make known, O Lord, the glorious splendour of your kingdom.
03:39Your friends make known, O Lord, the glorious splendour of your kingdom.
03:47Your kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, and your dominion endures through all generations.
03:56Your friends make known, O Lord, the glorious splendour of your kingdom.
04:02The Lord is just in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
04:06The Lord is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.
04:13Your friends make known, O Lord, the glorious splendour of your kingdom.
04:18Alleluia, alleluia.
04:20Alleluia, alleluia.
04:21Rabbi, you are the Son of God.
04:23You are the King of Israel.
04:25Alleluia, alleluia.
04:28The Lord be with you.
04:31A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
04:37Philip found Nathanael and told him,
04:42We found the one about whom Moses wrote in the law,
04:46and the prophets.
04:48Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth.
04:53But Nathanael said to him,
04:54Can anything good come out of Nazareth?
04:58And Philip said to him,
04:59Well, come and see.
05:01And Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him,
05:05And Jesus said to him,
05:07Here is a true child of Israel.
05:10There's no duplicity in him.
05:14And then Nathanael said to him,
05:17How do you know me?
05:18And Jesus answered and said to him,
05:22Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree.
05:27Then Nathanael answered him,
05:29Rabbi, you are the Son of God.
05:32You are the King of Israel.
05:34And Jesus answered and said to him,
05:37Do you believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree?
05:41You will see greater things than this.
05:44And he said to him,
05:46Amen, amen, I say to you.
05:48You will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.
05:56The Gospel of the Lord.
06:05Blessed be you, Lord God of all creation.
06:07For your goodness we have received the bread we offer you.
06:09The fruit of the earth, the work of human hands.
06:12It will become for us the bread of life.
06:16By the mystery of this water and wine,
06:18Let me come to share in the divinity of Christ,
06:23Who humbled himself to share in our humanity.
06:34Blessed be you, Lord God of all creation.
06:36Through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you.
06:39The bread of the vine and work of human hands.
06:41It will become our spiritual drink.
06:44Lord God, we ask you to receive us and be pleased with the sacrifice we offer you with humble and
06:49contrite hearts.
06:50Lord, wash away my iniquity.
06:53Cleanse me from my sin.
07:06Pray now, my brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the Almighty Father.
07:16As we celebrate anew the feast of St. Bartholomew, our Lord,
07:19We pray that we may obtain your help through the intercession of the Apostle,
07:25In whose honour we bring you this sacrifice of praise.
07:30And we ask this through Christ our Lord.
07:34The Lord be with you.
07:36Lift up your hearts.
07:38Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:40It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord,
07:46Holy Father Almighty and eternal God.
07:49For you, eternal Shepherd, do not desert your flock,
07:53But through the blessed Apostles watch over it and protect it always,
07:57So that it may be governed by those you have appointed shepherds,
08:01To lead it in the name of your Son.
08:05And so with the angels and archangels,
08:07With the thrones and minions,
08:08And with the hosts and powers of heaven,
08:10We sing the hymn of your glory,
08:12As without end we acclaim,
08:15Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts,
08:19Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
08:21Hosanna in the highest.
08:23Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
08:26Hosanna in the highest.
08:27Welcome lines.
08:30Amen.
08:30You are indeed all the Living, The Father of all holiness,
08:33Make holy therefore these gifts we pray by sending down Your
08:37Spirit upon them like the dewfall
08:39So that they may become for us the body and the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:44At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion.
08:47He took bread and given thanks.
08:50He broke it and gave it to his disciples saying,
08:52Take this all of you and eat of it
08:54But this is my body
08:56Which will be given up
08:57For you
09:17In a similar way
09:19When supper was ended
09:19He took the chalice
09:20Once more giving thanks
09:22He gave it to his disciples
09:23Saying take this all of you
09:24And drink from it
09:25For this is the chalice of my blood
09:28The blood of the new and eternal covenant
09:30Which will be poured out for you
09:32And for many
09:33For the forgiveness of sins
09:35Do this in memory of me
09:51The mystery of faith
09:53When we eat this bread and drink this cup
09:56We proclaim your death
09:57And proclaim your death
09:57And to you come again
10:00Therefore as we celebrate the memory of his death and resurrection
10:03We offer you Lord
10:05The bread of life and the chalice of salvation
10:07Giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence
10:11And to minister to you
10:12Humbly we pray
10:14That partaking of the body and blood of Christ
10:16We may be gathered into one
10:18By the Holy Spirit
10:20Remember Lord your church
10:22Spread throughout the world
10:23Bring her to the fullness of charity
10:25Together with
10:27Leo our Pope
10:28Charles our Bishop
10:29All the clergy
10:30And the whole of God's people
10:33Remember also our brothers and sisters
10:35Who have fallen asleep
10:36In the hope of the resurrection
10:37And all who have died in your mercy
10:40Welcome them into the light of your face
10:43Have mercy in us all we pray
10:45That with the Blessed Virgin Mary
10:47Mother of God
10:48Saint Joseph of the Stars
10:49The Blessed Apostle of all the saints
10:51Who have pleased you throughout the ages
10:53We may merit to be
10:55Coherous to eternal life
10:57And may praise and glorify you
10:59Through your Son
11:00Jesus Christ
11:03Through him and with him and in him
11:05O God Almighty Father
11:06In the unity of the Holy Spirit
11:08For glory and honour is yours
11:10Forever and ever
11:13Let us pray now the beautiful prayer
11:15That Jesus taught us to pray
11:18Our Father who art in heaven
11:20Hallowed be thy name
11:22Thy kingdom come
11:23Thy will be done
11:25On earth as it is in heaven
11:27Give us this day our daily bread
11:29And forgive us our trespasses
11:31As we forgive those who trespass against us
11:34And lead us not into temptation
11:36But deliver us from evil
11:38With us Lord we pray
11:40Every evil
11:41Graciously grant peace in our day
11:43By the help of your mercy
11:45May we be always free from sin
11:46And safe from all distress
11:48As we await the blessed hope
11:50And the coming of our Saviour
11:51Jesus Christ
11:52For the kingdom
11:54The power and the glory
11:55Are yours now and forever
11:56Lord Jesus Christ
11:58Who said to your Apostles
11:59Peace I leave you
12:00My peace I give you
12:02Look not on our sins
12:03But on the faith of your church
12:05And graciously grant her
12:07Peace and unity
12:08In accordance with your will
12:09We live and reign forever and ever
12:11The peace of the Lord
12:13Be with you always
12:16The Lamb of God
12:18You take away the sins of the world
12:20Have mercy on us
12:21The Lamb of God
12:22You take away the sins of the world
12:24Have mercy on us
12:25The Lamb of God
12:27You take away the sins of the world
12:46Behold the Lamb of God
12:47Behold him who takes away the sins of the world
12:50List of those called to the supper of the Lamb
12:53Lord I am not worthy
12:55That you should enter under my roof
12:57But I may say the word
12:59And my soul shall be healed
13:02My Jesus
13:03I believe that you are present
13:05In the most blessed sacrament
13:06I love you above all things
13:08And I desire to receive you into my soul
13:11Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally
13:14Commodly spiritually into my heart
13:17I embrace you as if you were already there
13:20And unite myself wholly to you
13:22Never permit me to be separated from you
13:26Amen
13:28Let us pray
13:31As we celebrate the feast day of blessed Apostle Bartholomew
13:36We have received the pledge of eternal salvation our Lord
13:40And we pray that it may be of help to us
13:43Both now and for the life to come
13:46And we ask this through Christ our Lord
13:49The Lord be with you
13:51May Almighty God bless you
13:54The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
13:56And as this ended
13:58Let us go in peace
14:06Let us go in peace
