00:13The Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Peace be with you. Today is the Feast of
00:20St. Simon and Jude. We acknowledge our sins. We acknowledge God's great love and mercy.
00:29Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. May Almighty God have mercy on us. Forgive us our sins
00:38and lead us into healing and life everlasting. Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to people
00:47of goodwill. We praise you. We bless you. We adore you. We glorify you. We give you thanks for your
00:53great glory.
00:54Lord God, Heavenly King. Lord God, Almighty Father. Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son. Lord God, Lamb of God, Son
01:03of the Father. You take away the sins of the world. Have mercy on us.
01:08You take away the sins of the world. Receive our prayer. You are seated at the right hand of the
01:14Father. Have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One. You alone are the Lord. You alone are
01:21the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit and the glory of God the Father. Amen. Let us pray.
01:55Let us pray.
02:18A reading from St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
02:24St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
02:50St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
03:19St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
03:38St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
03:39The Ephesians comprise you.
03:39Amen.
03:43St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
03:54Amen.
03:54pray. And he spent the whole night in prayer to God. When they came, he summoned his apostles
04:04and picked out twelve of them, his disciples rather, and picked out twelve of them. He
04:11called them apostles, Simon whom he called Peter, and his brother Andrew, James, John,
04:20Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, son of Malpheus, Simon the Zealot, Judas, son
04:30of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor. He then came down with them and stopped
04:38at a piece of level ground, where there was a large crowd gathering of his disciples,
04:43with a great crowd of people from all parts of Judea and from Jerusalem, and from the
04:50coastal region of Tyre and Sidon, who had come to hear him and to be cured of their
04:56diseases. People tormented by unclean spirits were also cured, and everyone in
05:03the crowd was trying to touch him, because power came out of him that cured them all.
05:12The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:23The Apostles, foundation stones of the New Jerusalem. Our faith is based on the Apostles as entrusted
05:32to them by Jesus Christ. And he is, of course, a driving force. One of the four areas that the
05:40early church saw as being very important was the being faithful to the teachings of the Apostles,
05:49not the pick and choose. The others were prayer, of course. The others were love, the first one. And then
05:57the other one was also coming together for the Lord's Supper, for Mass on Sunday. But staying
06:04faithful to the teachings of the Apostles was seen as being non-negotiable. So we continue reflecting
06:11that in the Spirit help us understand more deeply what has come down to us and to reflect on the
06:19church today, carrying on that mission, and how we are to be faithful to those teachings that have come
06:25down to us from the Apostles. So we thank God for these anchors, these lights, that keep on reminding
06:32us of what is really at the core of the message of Jesus. And we heard it in the Gospel
06:38today. He cured
06:39the sweet. He overcame evil. He spoke with power and authority. The power of love, God's amazing,
06:47incredible love. The Word became flesh so that God can talk to us directly through Jesus, in Jesus.
07:01Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation. For through your goodness we have this bread to offer,
07:06the Word of God that the Church has given. The Church has given. Human hands have made.
07:09It will become for us the bread of life. Blessed be God, Word of God.
07:32God.
07:33Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation. For through your goodness we have this wine to offer,
07:37fruit of divine work of human hands. It will become a spiritual drink. Blessed be God, Word of God.
07:53Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
08:00May the Lord accept the sacrifice at our hands for the praise and glory of God's name, for our good
08:07and the good of God's Holy Church.
08:09As we venerate the perpetual glory of the Holy Apostles Simon and Jude, O Lord, we ask that you receive
08:17our prayers and lead us toward the celebration of the sacred mysteries, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
08:53Amen.
09:24Lord. Hosanna in the highest. You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy,
09:31therefore these gifts we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like we do for,
09:36so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time he
09:42was
09:43betrayed, and entered willingly into his passion, he could pray, and giving thanks broke it, and gave
09:50it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which
09:56will be given up for you.
10:04In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks,
10:10he gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the
10:16chalice of
10:17my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be pulled out for you,
10:23and for many, for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me.
10:35The mystery of faith. When we eat this bread and bring this cup, we proclaim your death, O Lord,
10:42until you come again.
10:47Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Lord,
10:53the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in
10:59your presence and minister to you. Humbly we pray that by taking of the body and blood of Christ,
11:05we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the
11:12world, and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Leo, our Pope, Negrim,
11:18our worthy servant, and all the clergy, and the entire people, your son, his gainful.
11:24Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
11:30and all who have died in your mercy. Welcome them into the light of your face.
11:36Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
11:41blessed Joseph has passed, with the blessed apostles who remember Simon and Jude in a special way today,
11:48and all the saints who have preached you throughout the ages, we may merit to be coerced to eternal life,
11:54and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
12:01Through him and with him and in him, O God, Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
12:08all glory and honor is yours forever and ever. Amen.
12:14At the Savior's command and form by divine teaching, we dare to say,
12:20Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come,
12:25thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,
12:31and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
12:37and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
12:41Lord, we pray from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days,
12:47that by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin,
12:52and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior,
12:57Jesus Christ, for the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
13:04Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
13:08Peace I leave you, my peace I give you, look not on our sins, but on the faith of the
13:13Church,
13:14and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will,
13:18who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
13:22The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all of us.
13:25Let us offer each other a sign of peace. Peace be with you all.
13:30Lamb of God, we take away the sins of the world. Have mercy on us.
13:36Lamb of God, we take away the sins of the world. Have mercy on us.
13:41Lamb of God, we take away the sins of the world. Grant us peace.
13:46Let us pray for the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
13:50Come to the Lamb of God, and our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
13:57Amen.
14:04Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. Happy are those who are called to
14:09the supper of the Lamb. Lord, I am not worthy if you enter under my roof, but only say the
14:15word,
14:15and my soul shall be healed.
14:18My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
14:23I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
14:28Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
14:31come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there,
14:36and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
14:44Let us pray. Having received the sacrament, O Lord, we humbly implore you in the Holy Spirit,
14:51that what we do to honor the glorious passion of the apostles, Simon and Jude,
14:57may keep us ever in your love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
15:01The Lord be with you, and may the peace and the blessing of the Father, and of the Son,
15:06and of the Holy Spirit come upon you, and remain always with you. Let us go and proclaim the Gospel
15:13by our lives. Thanks be to God. God bless you.
