00:00I grew up as society may call as a military brat because my dad was in the military and we
00:07did
00:07move a lot. My dad, he was very hands-on as you catch my drift. Whenever I put the shoes
00:14on the
00:14wrong foot, he would just smack me. When we moved to North Carolina, one incident was when I got
00:22a whooping or whatever. He would tie my hands up with these long white stretchy socks. So when he
00:29spanked me, I couldn't move, couldn't run, couldn't do nothing. My mom and him got divorced when I was
00:35about six years old. That was the happiest day of my life. I did have to be part of some
00:41special needs
00:42group. I had autism growing up. I had problems with speech and I was in therapy, but every time I
00:49go in
00:49there, she would tell me that I was ugly. I had big lips. So I finally told my mom, I
00:55don't know how my
00:56mom handled it, but that lady was not there no more. And I was no longer in therapy. I had
01:01somebody in the family made me strip naked in front of everybody in Burger King. And while I'm doing
01:07this, they're telling me that nobody loves me. Nobody wants you. At this time, as a teenager,
01:12high school stuff, I didn't get that love and attention. I got pregnant at 18 soon after I got
01:18out of high school, but I lost the baby. And my goal at this point was to get away from
01:24this family.
