00:00So basically, when I was six and they started doing visits to get me adopted out, I was placed inside
00:06of an adoption book.
00:07There is a book full of pictures of kids.
00:11It states they got these issues, that issues.
00:14I was in there for sexual abuse issues, sexual behavior.
00:18So you get a higher payment for taking me.
00:22Like for sexual, basically, it's a catalog of children.
00:24And I was in that catalog.
00:26And there was a couple here, Christian couple, that started taking me and my older brother on visits.
00:34They would come to Detroit and they'd take us to like McDonald's, the play place or something like that.
00:39And then at one point, they were allowed to do an overnight.
00:42And I just remember clear as day, knowing that this was going to be hell if we got adopted by
00:49her.
00:49I guess I had the bed.
00:51And so I didn't realize I had the bed, you know.
00:54And I woke up and I remember her asking me, did I get the bed?
00:58And so I told her, no, I didn't.
01:00And so she told me, we're not liars in this house.
01:03So I knew from that moment on, this lady is evil.
01:07Once the adoption came, it was exactly what I thought it was going to be.
01:12I wasn't allowed to watch cartoons.
01:13I wasn't allowed to watch TV.
01:14So from the age of six up until right before my 14th birthday, I pretty much spent the majority of
01:22my childhood getting beat baseball bats.
