00:00Meanwhile, let's go to a couple of pitchers here. The Red Sox have been carried by their pitchers
00:04and Willie Abreu over the last couple of months. One of them has been Peyton Toley.
00:0820 innings pitched, 1.35 earned run average, 25 strikeouts, and four walks. Red Sox now have
00:16a pretty strong rotation, three or four deep. I guess we just have to see if that hot run is
00:22sustainable, Tom, between now and the end of the season. It feels like since then,
00:28they're playing about 500 baseball. Fortunately, they're in the American League. If they play 500
00:32and Toley and some of the other pitchers and Sonny Gray pitched well, they're going to make the
00:37playoffs. I'm still a little skeptical that what we saw was real. Right. Peyton Toley's been awesome.
00:44Shout out to him. He's helping carry one of my NFBC teams, which I really do appreciate at this
00:49point in the year. But he's been great. I think how good he is was part of the reason that
00:56the Red
00:56Sox did trade Connelly early, and they were willing to move on from him just because they
01:01know, okay, they have Sonny Gray. They have Ranger Suarez. They can now have this emerging
01:05ace with Peyton Toley. He's been great. And frankly, depending on how the schedule falls,
01:09he's a game one starter for them in the playoffs. It's either him or Gray, I think, depending on
01:14how the end of the season shakes out of who is pitching when. But he is shaping up to be
01:18a true
01:19number one ace for a team.
